Maybe in your world Nonnie, but not in mine and I'm not entirely sure why you felt the need to come and complain about it on my blog, but here we are!

It makes perfect Narrative sense for Tommy to still be around in the back end of the season, and even possibly into the start of season 8. The show is telling a story of Bucks bisexuality, so why woould they get rid of Tommy so quickly? To do so would do a disservice to that story - a massive disservice. I'm guessing you're hating on this relationship becasue you see it getting in the way of Buddie, rather than viewing it as a vital step on the route to Buddie.

Lets put it into simple terms - Buck figures out he's bi and then begins to explore that newly discovered aspect of himself. The show has also taken the time to move Buck from someone who didn't really do relationships (of the long term variety), into someone who is looking for love and looking for forever. But in amongst all of that, he hasn't really had a healthy long term relationship, the closest he had to that was with Ali and that one didn't last especially long and she wasn't around for most of it

Buck isn't ready for an endgame queer relationship right now - he is still to immature from a relationship perspective - especially a queer relationship perspective. If Eddie was available and he and Buck got together - as they are as characters right now, they wouldn't last - they're not in a position to do so successfully. And this isn't me suggesting that they need to have figured everything out before they get together - to have fully healed etc, because thats neither realistic or something I would want to see - what it means is that they both need to get to a point where they are in a healthy enough place to put in the work together, understand each others flaws, and their own flaws and proactively work towards overcoming those things together and as of right now, neither of them are - they are getting their and moving rapidly in the right direction, but Buck needs to learn a bit more, and in many ways learn how to be with a man, before he will be ready to start anything with Eddie.

The growth we're getting to watch Buck go through right now - in the aftermath of the lightening strike, his reckoning with his mortality etc and the fact he's now off the hamster wheel and moving forward - in a healthy and faster way than we've ever seen from him, speaks volumes.

Tommy is also a far better developed love interest than any other love interest we've seen Buck (or indeed Eddie) with (Abby excepted but she was a main, so had her own purpose on the show)- I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling like I know Tommy more after 3 episodes plus what we got from the begins episodes he was in, than I managed to ascertain about Taylor or Ana or Nataila etc!

Not to mention, him figuring out he's in Love with Eddie as part of this process is going to be fun to watch. The show has made no bones about re-enforcing at every. Single. Opportunity how close, how entwined and how important Buck and Eddie are to one another - the show has quite literally been prioritising that over anything else Buck and Eddie related - Buck was there front and centre - placed very much on an equal footing with Shannon and even Eddie himself in 7x01, and then Eddie was the centre of Bucks bi arc in 7x04 and in his coming out in 7x05. They are literally moving chess pieces into place to tell an amazing story of queer love in later life and creating an epic slow burn for the ages.

And finally, Eddie is, as far as we know at this point in time, still in a relationship with Marisol - why shouldn't Buck get to explore who he is and what he want's within a relationship rather than sitting pining on the sidelines - that isn't healthy in any way shape or form. Eddie still has stuff to figure out about himself.

Even Tim and Oliver have stated in interviews that this is about a happy and joyful queer experience of figuring out bisexuality and therefore within that is giving the narrative a romcom vibe. But they have also stated that Tommy isn't going to be around for that long - that he is very much a narrative device.

It is worth pointing out that timelines on various aspects of the narrative may have been shifted because of the season 8 renewal - but that is only going to help tell the story because now it doesn't have to be rushed. I'm still fully expecting some form of feeling realisation from one of them by the end of the season (my money is on Buck), setting up for season 8 and Buddie going canon either 8a finale or early into 8b.

You have every right to dislike Tommy if thats you jam - have at it, but don't come to my blog and expect me to agree with you. I'm not a multi shipper by any means - I'm a one ship kind of gal and I will be a Buddie shipper until the end of time, but within that, I am here for amazing storytelling and amazing queer storytelling - the like of which I've not had the privilege to watch on my screen before - especially one that hits so close to home. Its a really important story to tell and I'd rather it not be rushed.

And if you had to pick - I'm pretty sure you'd rather have Tommy around for a bit longer that Marisol!!!!

Daemon is not a character I enjoy and I don’t feel any attraction to him. But I absolutely love Matt Smith. I am vastly more attracted to him when he is himself or the Doctor, than as Daemon. I think I just vibe more with his personality. What Matt character (other than the Doctor or Daemon) do you enjoy most? 💖

HI nonnie! Daemon certainly isn't for everyone, I get it. Eleven is goofy and funny and has his dark moments.

That's a tough ask. Like runner up I guess? So Eleven is definitely my favorite, Daemon a close second. Probably Prince Philip in The Crown (and not only for these two lines) is my third.

I thought I would do some honorable mentions as well and one where Matt has given his all to a role in a pretty terrible film. People might think of Morbius when I say that, but the one that comes to my mind first is always Terminator Genisys (2015).

Wow this movie is bad and I love the Terminator franchise. It was one of the first films he did after he left Doctor Who. I really want to spoil it for everyone but I won't. His character "Alex" isn't who he seems (you can google it if you want to). Matt really did a great job here, but it's painful to watch this movie fall apart over the 2 hours. My man gave it his all. (Not to mention that I like this haircut despite loving his crazy, floppy hair.)

Another honorable mention has to go to Jack, in the absolutely amazing Last Night in Soho (2021)! Matt is so good at playing villains that I really enjoy those roles. Jack is the absolute worst, but Matt makes him believable yet not over the top. Sleazy. It's a wonderful performance.

You can literally find some of my gifs of him by searching words like "Matt Smith's ears" because I have a serious problem.

So, I'm not going to review every role he's ever had because that's not what you asked. I will say I have yet to get my hands on a copy of Mapplethorpe (specifically the Director's Cut) and will watch it as soon as I can. I know it's been out for a while but it's hard to get. Until I have watched it, my last honorable mention is his role as Martin in Official Secrets (2019). It's his most understated supporting role, in my opinion. When he's the lead or part of an ensemble, he has loads of personality, almost overwhelmingly. This film is well written and well cast and that always helps. His role isn't huge but he performs it with sincerity and authenticity.

Rescue me chin boy and show me the stars. sigh. that chin though.

Was that long enough for you anon? LoL If you follow me (seems like you might), you know that I'm longwinded when I talk about Matt's acting. If you haven't seen these, I suggest you save the best for last and get Genisys out of the way first so you can enjoy the others more thoroughly. Most Matt fans have seen more of his work than they realize as his career his been relatively short and he takes time off from film/tv to do theater. He only left Doctor Who 10 years ago so you don't have a long filmography if you decide to work your way through it.

Hello! I love your blog. Seiously one of the best. So... I was watching batman vs robin animation and when i saw the talon's face my brain just went " That's Ezio!" So what if he was a talon in modern day?

Mebey he had the same backstory just like the game but this time the templers found out sooner that he is the prophet so they just lied to him and made him to join them. He never undrestood it was templers behind his family's death and became a templer. But... if he was living around 500 years ago he would've become like talons in batman court of owls comic series which they were like... a little mindless. So we set up Ezio in modern day. A powerfull family that had just come to Gotham from Italy. Idk what to do with this senario. Send help. 🦇👊

This is very similar to the Talons idea that I had and also @fanworldbuildingfun and @twitcherpated have another take for this idea

Just a few additions, we do need Ezio to have Flavia for Desmond to be born so I would suggest that Ezio be taken by the Templars and sent to the Court of Owls (which has already been established at this point) to take him and make him one of the Talons.

How?

They took Ezio when he was at his weakest. To be more exact: the very last scene of Embers where he canonically died, only this time, he was overpowered and lost consciousness.

So, in this scenario, Sofia and Flavia don’t see Ezio dead, he goes missing.

From there, Ezio could be one of the first Talons who were preserved this entire time. Then… the Court of Owls got their hands on the Lazarus Pit and they revive all the old Talons, including the Talon only known by the name ‘Prophet’.

So, in this case, Ezio would be a Talon who did everything order of him because his memories are a bit… jumbled together.

During that time, the League of Assassins have infiltrated Gotham to take back whatever remains of the liquid the Court have taken from the Lazarus Pit and destroy every research, mentions and anything related to the liquid.

This is where we can add Desmond as the modern day Assassin representative. Either:

Talia’s twin brother Desmond

Desmond as part of Batman’s Rogues Gallery by virtue of him assassinating bad guys goes against Batman’s no killing code

Desmond being part of the League of Assassins helping Young Justice

Desmond runs away from the Farm and gets adopted by Bruce Wayne

Or, you know, just make the Brotherhood a separate organization from the League and Desmond suffers through all the Animus BS but doesn’t die from the Solar Flare because there are so many superheroes who could take care of that XD

Regardless, the main point is that Desmond is the trigger to return Ezio to his senses.

Because Ezio remembers seeing Desmond in Altaïr’s library.

And that would become the trigger for Ezio to be taken out of the Court’s control.

Or…

If you really want Ezio to be born in modern day, he’s an Assassin who went missing when he infiltrated Gotham because they learned that the Templars were moving in and out of Gotham for the past month. He’s been missing for over a year and this is the part where you can mix up who will be the trigger to return Ezio to his senses.

This is purely on the side of AU now, so it could be any of his siblings who came to find him. Maybe even Giovanni who quit his high ranking rank in the Brotherhood to find his son. Maybe all of them? Just hammer in the fact that the Auditore family love one another so much (and twist the knife on Bruce’s own past while you’re at it). Hell, it could even be a pairing you like for Ezio XD

Your blog is really insightful about the deities and gives many good points about their character. Can you say a few things about Ares? Because unfortunately in modern media and retellings people believe that he is only a bloodthirsty god of war and also sexist for some reason, even though he respected Aphrodite and loved her and gave her the freedom of choosing partners as it is her nature and even was helping the Amazons and so on.

He is underrated i believe because media misjudged him terribly even though he did many good things as well.

Honestly, I am not as knowledgeable on Ares as someone like @theoi-crow might be (if you have any history related questions, specifically, he's a good resource), but from what I do know, Ares is actually a really great father.

That may seem like kind of a random thing to point out, but there is a myth involving Ares that tells of how one of his daughters was r*ped by one of Poseidon's sons. In response to this, Ares killed Poseidon's son. Obviously, Poseidon wasn't too thrilled about that and brought Ares to trial by the gods. If Ares lost the trial and was found guilty, he'd be sentenced to Tartarus, forced to leave Mount Olympus and (presumably) never return. Despite this, though, Ares remained resolute during said trial, fully admitting that he would've done it again to avenge his daughter. The other gods found Ares to be innocent, much to Poseidon's dismay, and both Ares and his daughter were A-OK after that. 👌

In another myth, at the wedding of his daughter Harmonia (iirc), Ares celebrated with her, even taking off his helmet (and potentially his armor???) to relax and enjoy the occasion. He danced with his daughter, and it was just a really wholesome moment in mythology. 🥰

These are the best myths I can think of to show that Ares isn't what modern media makes him out to be. He is much more than a violent, crazed god who seeks only bloodlust. The reasons many myths depict him in an unfavorable light is because they're mostly Athenian, hailing from Athens. Anything that was considered to go against Athena in some way was depicted poorly, and the Athenians saw Ares as basically being as far from Athena as you could get. Naturally, their myths about him are not exactly very kind.

On top of all these things, within my own experience, Ares is a really wonderful god to worship. He has protected, guided, and advised me in many situations where I truly needed it. He has been a somewhat stern yet positive influence in my life, and personally, I absolutely adore and admire him. He and Aphrodite share an altar in my worship space, and honestly, every time I interact with that altar, their energies feel so lovely and peaceful. They make an incredible pair. I'm pretty sure if Ares was a misogynist Aphrodite probably wouldn't mingle well with him - just saying lmao.

But yeah, Ares rocks! I suggest worshipping him to anyone who is curious and interested. He is a powerful ally and an even greater friend. Hope this is what you were looking for! Have a great day/night! ☺️🧡

I’m not sure of the scope of questions you answer but I need some help and I’m not sure who else I could turn to.

So I’m in a moderately popular fandom on this site and I’d say for about a year, I’ve been bullied by someone I had a nasty falling out with. They go on anon but I know it’s them based on the language and context used—they don’t seem to be too stealthy honestly. Anyway, I’m not sure what to do about it because I find myself getting paranoid whenever I get an ask or a message, because this person has managed to taint a lot of my relationships with people on here that I engage with. I’ve since been blocked, harassed, had death threats received and it’s all very overwhelming. Turning off anon only works for a short amount of time, but my blog is meant to be a safe space, so I don’t like to keep anon restricted all the time.

This fandom I’m in is wonderful in so many ways, but this has been such a sore spot for me, because I just want this person to go away and live their life, though sad it may very well be, and leave me alone. I’m not sure how to manage this mentally. I’ve found myself fighting quite a bit with the anons I get, and I think because of that, I’ve found my engagement with others disappearing. Idk, it’s been a mess. This person btw has caused someone to leave the fandom and the website because they were being harassed too, and all of the mutuals were sad about that, because they were lovely. I’ve tried reporting this user to Tumblr countless times, to no avail.

I don’t know what to do anymore. They are ruining this entire fandom, and they have quite a fierce following of people behind them, supporting them. If they only knew how ghastly this person acted towards me and continued to harass me…

I haven’t checked the inbox here for a while so not sure when this was submitted, but this is really disappointing and immature behaviour from this individual. It seems you’ve tried a fair few things to try and combat their bullying already, and it sucks that your attempts to report this user has yielded no results.

There aren’t many other solutions I can think of except for two. My first suggestion is to make a post informing your followers that you’ll be inactive for a short period of time, however long you feel you need, for a mental health break. Hopefully by doing this you can improve your mental health and perhaps come to a solution in the meantime, or even better, this bully decides to move on. My second suggestion is rather drastic and likely not something you’d want to do, but I would suggest making a new tumblr where you can engage with everyone in the fandom that you’re currently engaging with, although under the guise of someone else so you wont be targeted by this bully anymore.

My main hope however, would be that this bully moves on eventually, but preferably soon. I would also add that this is entirely a reflection on them and not you, and try to not take anything they say to heart. Nasty people like them normally know exactly what to say to hurt people and their words can cut deep I know, but don’t believe whatever they may be telling you or calling you. I know this is all far easier said than done, but if you notice you get another nasty anon message from this person, delete it as soon as you realise what it is, please don’t go on to read the whole thing, you don’t deserve to be tormented by this person.

I would also highly recommend talking to a friend about this if you haven’t already, even if you just vent it should do you some good to have someone to talk to and receive support from. Perhaps a friend of yours might even have a solution to all this, and even if they don’t they can keep you happy and distracted! And finally, speaking of distractions, stay as distracted as possible! If worse comes to worst and theres no way for you to really avoid the bullying, spend time with friends and do the things that make you happy and try your best to not dwell on the actions and words of this person.

Keep reporting them to tumblr in the meantime and hopefully something finally gets done about them because bullying should never be tolerated, anon or not. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this nonnie and I really really hope that the bullying stops or is dealt with 💛 And you can always come for a visit to all of us here because this is a safe space and there’s plenty of love and support for you here 💛💛

What’s your favorite fiction or fanfic genre to write/draw/imagine your self ship in? What fictional trope does your ship fall into?

I love writing fluff/romance genre and some of the ficlets I have up for him are a teensy bit self-ship coded. I knew his myth & lore was going to hurt me deeply so I simply wanted to give him all the love he never received. As for fictional trope—Syel falls under strangers to lovers with a hint of slow burn (also turned exes back to lovers, but very briefly early on!! I may or may not have something for this in the drafts… heh).

Has anything you’ve seen in other media or headcanons inspired aspects of your ship?

A while back when I was more active in the JJK fandom, I wrote a little bit about civilian!reader x sorcerer!gojo on another blog and when deciding what kind of AU I wanted for Syel—I liked that concept the most for us. Where he’s still Onychinus leader and I’m a normal civilian and how our two different worlds would mix and mingle.

What is something Sylus says/does/wears that makes you flustered? and vice versa :3

(Suggestive warning‼️) Sylus loves seeing me in nightgowns, and he makes sure I know it through his wandering gaze, his hand reaching out to me and pulling me down onto his lap, and even coping a feel through the smooth silk fabric while he asserts if I came to him looking to make trouble. He gets intrigued by the fact I’m not wearing panties with my nightgown. Adding on that I must have planned for this, haven’t I?

As for me, he gets me feeling so shy when he has me tell him exactly what my desires are when it’s already implied. He knows what I need from him but he wants to hear me say it and use my words. He can’t help teasing me even if that means I’ll get a little bratty with him (which was his intention anyway).

When did you realize you were in love with Sylus? and vise-versa :3

I realized that I was in love with Sylus when I caught myself staring at him and couldn't help smiling to myself because he seemed to grasp at every opportunity to express his devotion to me. And this probably hit me when he was cleaning and bandaging a small cut on my finger since I’m accident-prone. I recall our time together and he paid attention to the things that were important to me, made me feel so safe that I felt comfortable coming to him for anything and nothing would seem silly to him. And he always left no room for doubts in everything that he did for me.

Sylus realized that he was in love with me the first night I spent at his place. With me sleeping soundly beside him, something shifts within him like I was what’s been missing from his life this entire time. He’s warmed by the thought that I’m just within a hand's reach from him, that I trusted him enough to be in my most vulnerable state, and he feels a rising affection toward me leading him to gently trace his fingers along my back and press his lips against my head. From that moment onwards, he decided that he didn’t want a future without me in it.

How do both of you keep the spark in your relationship going?

We never take each other for granted and always make sure to show our appreciation. The playfulness and attraction are never lost because we like to tease and flirt with each other tons even in the comfort of our own home—keeping it fun, finding every excuse to be close, coming together for all kinds of kisses wherever we are.

How do you comfort each other in times of sadness or anguish? How do you heal each other?

By being there for each other and holding each other in our arms. Sometimes no words are exchanged, like an unspoken understanding that we know something is wrong but not quite ready to talk about it yet. So we comfort one another the best we can, seeking the other’s warmth and familiar touch and usually that alone is enough to lift the sorrows or anguish. And shortly after, we quietly talk about what brought on such turmoil because we don’t make it a habit to keep anything from each other.

Who is the more vulnerable of the two? Who is the more closed-off one? How did you gain each other’s trust?

Sylus is the more vulnerable one in the sense when we first started dating I had no idea he was Onychinus leader and what that means. He has yet to tell me about it and typically dances around half-truths about his life when we're still getting to know each other better. But he was planning on telling me, he was just afraid of how I’d respond so he held it off as long as possible. I eventually found out one way or another, and I suppose I knew he was too good to be true so that resulted in me becoming closed-off and even ending things with him. But of course, he eventually wins me back and he promises to tell me everything that I wish to know about him and the organizations, even his past deeds.

How would your baby showers look like? (Or a gender reveal party?)

We have private gender reveals, and we usually have a beautiful cake and the selected color in the center of the layers to slice into. Our first one took place outdoors since it was such a lovely day so I thought a picnic under the gazebo would’ve been perfect for the occasion—and it was when we saw crumbs of pink.

What would your children look like? And how many would there be? What are their names?

Names are so difficult to come up with I can’t come up with ones that’d feel suitable at the moment but I shall revisit this question once I do!! I think me and Sylus would have three children, four at most—a daughter with his color palette, a son with my color palette, and another daughter who’s the perfect blend of us. Perhaps the fourth one could be a carbon copy of him.

What were you and Sylus for Halloween this year? And what did you both celebrate it?

I dressed up as cupid and Sylus was my target with red arrows, hearts and kiss marks decorated all over him. We spent Halloween passing out candies at one of our homes outside the N109 zone where it’s much safer for little trick-or-treaters to go around the streets.

I just remembered an omegaverse fic I read a long time ago, don't remember the fandom or anything else about it (sorry! lol), only that it was tradition for omegas to receive 'heat jewellery'. Sort of like a memento of their alpha's love. Now I can't stop thinking about 838 Mordo's hair jewellery ;w;

There’s lots of really fun headcanon on Mordo’s hair jewelry alone 🥰 The earth 838 omegaverse fanon is such a super rich sub section of this fandom that I absolutely adore. I remember another Nonny mentioning how each jewelry piece represents a child that the omega bore, so that matches really closely to your suggestion dear Nonny!

I know a good number of the people who visit this blog really enjoy cultural differences/misunderstandings/discoveries when it comes to omegaverse. Maybe Stephen comes from a place that doesn’t practice expensive heat gifts, at least not within his social upbringing. Maybe they gave food and other practical things instead. Meanwhile Mordo’s brought up to consider jewelry as the only acceptable gifts.

Oh…..perhaps they get jewelry as certain heat related milestones 😆 Like once Mordo goes through his first heat, his family gives him his very first hair jewelry, signifying to others that he’s not a child anymore and is entering the pool of eligible omegas 👀 And maybe after his first heat with an alpha he’s expected to get another one. And the first heat as a bonded couple, first heat leading to a baby, etc. But Stephen doesn’t know all that though. He just knows that Mordo really, really loves that piece of jewelry in his hair cause he keeps touching it when Stephen’s around and trying to get Stephen to comment on it 😆 Not realizing that Mordo’s basically telling him hey, I had a few heats already and I don’t mind sharing one with an alpha now *heavy wink*

So of course they eventually share a heat. And Stephen’s so happy at first but as the days go on he notices Mordo looking more and more upset with him 😆 He’s like what the hell did I do 😭 He asks around and someone kindly tells him that maybe Mordo’s a little bit (super duper) offended that he didn’t give him a hair jewel to commemorate the shared heat. Not giving him a heat gift was the equivalent of saying it was nothing but sex and he was just gonna hit it and quit it. Giving him a gift would mean that he really does care for Mordo and is proud to show others that they shared a heat.

Stephen immediately goes to a recommended jewelry smith and learns those things have to be custom made way in advance. You can’t just pick one up from a store inventory. It’s gotta be a specific type of material, and made with another type of material from the omega’s birthplace, and it needs a stone representing the time the heat took place etc. And Stephen’s shocked like….are all the omegas in the city like this?!?!? And the jewelry smith just laughs and says of course not. But Mordo is not like other omegas. He’s from an elite aristocratic family of sorcerers. They have traditions to uphold. That’s why he rarely sees other omegas wearing hair jewelry. It’s only worn by the most ancient of sorcerer families, a way to uphold their customs but also to signal to everyone else to move out the way.

Poor Stephen’s got a lot to learn 🤣 But as we all know, when any Stephen learns they go all out. And I’m sure sweet 838 Stephen would devour any knowledge about his Mordo’s culture in order to make him happy 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Hello lovely Nonnie! I’m sorry this took so long, but I finally got super inspired to finish it. It’s not Oscar Isaac per se (I don’t do RPF) but I thought about it a bit and I was like...but I will do a Llewyn AU. So that’s what I did, and here it is, and I hope you and whoever else reads it, enjoys it! (note: most of the tweets came from various Thirst Tweet videos on YouTube, but there are a couple I just made up.)

I Want Llewyn Davis to Blank Me in the Blank (Llewyn Davis x F!Reader, Modern AU)

Word Count: 1300(ish)

Warnings: Some language, sexual references but nothing graphic or explicit just suggestive, floof.

- Llewyn isn’t sure what a BuzzFeed is, and to be honest, he’s not even sure what the hell a thirst tweet is. 

- You’re always teasing him that, if the world suddenly loses all technology tomorrow and the internet and social media disappear, he’ll be the only one who will still be able to function, and he’ll probably be a lot happier.

- You’re not wrong.

- He hates social media. Doesn’t understand what the point is really, why so many people are obsessed with it. Yeah, he technically has official accounts on all the major platforms, mainly because you insisted and set them up. They’re just placeholders and he never uses them.

- The only reason he’s even here to do this media gig is because you asked, all wide puppy-dog eyes and gnawed-on bottom lip, and he knows that you know he can’t say no to that.

- Not that he ever really wants to say no to you, but sometimes...

- Now he’s almost one hundred percent certain he regrets it.

- You’ve tried explaining the concept to him, probably like twenty-some times, and you’re trying again now, but as you lead him into the studio it pretty much goes in one ear and out the other.

- People don’t know you’re together, so he’s annoyed by that on top of everything else, because he can’t call you any of the usual pet names that roll off his tongue like melted butter.

- No angel. No baby. No sweetheart. It fucking sucks.

- "It’s not a serious thing, Llewyn. Just...fake it till you make it. Make jokes about it, it’ll be fine,” you tell him.

- You sit side by side at a little table, a couple feet apart, and a production assistant put a little metal bucket in front of each of you.

- Llewyn gives you a weird look. You just shake your head and smile this cute little smile that he does his level best to ignore because, well, you’re in public and nobody knows.

- Then the tweets come out of the buckets.

- Things I requite in a man: five nine, pisces, grammy nominated, llewyn davis. That’s all i ever need.

- Why is Llewyn Davis so attractive? He’s like 30 years older than me and I’m a lesbian but he still gets me hot and bothered.

- I cannot believe Llewyn Davis invented being sexy.

- Llewyn Davis got thicc lips and thicc hips

- I want Llewyn Davis to be my daddy but not in the fatherly kind of way.

- There’s a lot more, but honestly, they all sort of blend together.

- He manages to laugh them off and make some clever comments but he shoots you a look that’s part confusion, part disdain, and really annoyed. You just shrug.

- But then the tweets start coming out of your bucket, and Llewyn’s brain instantly regains its laser-focus.

- First, because everyone calls you by your online handle, which drives the nail further into Llewyn’s coffin because of his inability to actually call you cute names night now.

- Secondly, who do these assholes think they are, talking about his girl like this?

- Hello? Maker? Can we talk about how you put the heavens in AngelEyes’s eyes, because it’s starting to cause some serious problems over here. Kthx.

- I want to lick cherry-flavored jello off AngelEyes fingers, why does life have to be so unfair?

- Sit on my face and suffocate me, AngelEyes.

- AngelEyes’s boobs are a gift from whatever deity you choose to believe in, and if you’re an atheist, well, then more tits for me.

- I’m pretty sure AngelEyes could get all my children out of me, and I’m willing to take that challenge.

- Llewyn’s kind of tuned out, trying not to pay any attention to all the dirty things the world wants to do to you, but his head finally snaps up and his arm does too and his little metal bucket goes crashing to the floor.

- You (and everyone else in the studio) just stare at him.

- “Could I...” he clears his throat, “could I speak to you, for just a minute? Like, out in the hall?”

- “Okay?” you say slowly, but stand up and head towards the door, with him right behind you.

- The door barely has a change to swing shut behind you before Llewyn is on you, frantically pressing his lips to yours in a soul-sucking kiss.

- “Llewyn, what are you doing?” you hiss when you finally break away for air.

- It took quite a few minutes before you absolutely needed that break and you’re fairly certain people are going to come looking for you any second because you have to be taking a lot longer to “talk” than Llewyn implied.

- “Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to sit there and pretend all those tweets are okay”

- He’s pressing you against the wall and you can’t help the slightly impish smile that comes to your face. “I have a pretty good idea.”

- Llewyn glares through narrowed eyes. “This isn’t funny, AngelEyes.”

- “I was listening to all the ones people said about you too. Don’t get so worked up, Llewyn, it’s all in good fun.”

- Llewyn snorts.

- “Baby, are you...jealous?” You raise a brow at him.

- “I have half a mind to just take you up against this wall, right now.”

- “You’re jealous.”

- His mouth is suddenly a breath away from yours again, and he murmurs, “I just want people to know that you’re mine. And to know that I’m yours. And to never read a single thirst tweet ever again in my entire life,” before his desperate lips are back on yours.

- This time, he pulls out of the kiss first and you rest your head on his shoulder and try to catch your breath again.

- He’s checking something on his phone - replying to a text from his manager Snap or his sister, maybe, you’re only vaguely aware that he’s actually on his phone at all.

- But then you feel your own phone vibrate in your pocket.

- You pull it out and immediately almost drop it.

- “Llewyn. You...you didn’t.”

- Llewyn looks at you with a completely innocent face. He slides his phone back in his pocket and hooks a thumb towards the door. “I don’t know what you mean, sweetheart. Come on, we should probably get back in there before they send a search party.”

- You barely have time to process the notification that Llewyn Davis (@ folksingerwithacatofficial) has made his first tweet! Check it out! and even less time to actually read it before Llewyn disappears through the door and you have to follow.

- But it there was a picture - you didn’t even know Llewyn knew how to do that. And if he had an extra minute, he’d be inordinately proud of himself.

- It’s from a friend’s rooftop party a couple weeks ago. You’re behind him with your arms around his shoulders, kissing his cheek, and he has his eyes closed and a happy, content little smile on his face.

- There’s no way anyone’s going to look at it and be like, ‘oh they’re just friends.’ But the caption definitely clears it up.

- Never been happier than I am w/AngelEyes by my side. Aren’t enough words to say how much I love you, baby. Maybe I’ll just write you a song or ten.

- You head back into the studio, about to shove your phone back in your pocket, your face burning hotter than the sun, but it vibrates again and you see the corners of Llewyn lips turn up, even though he’s pointedly not looking at you.

- There’s another tweet.

- Now go get some water y’all and stop talking about my girlfriend’s tits. At least give her ass the credit it deserves too.

- Llewyn pretends not to notice when, five minutes later, everyone’s phones and laptops and tablets start blowing up with notifications and reactions. He just pulls you into his lap and kisses you softly on the cheek.

I have seen some tweets suggesting it was Harry who made the “racist” comment (please check out the best soap opera blog for screenshots) because he wanted his child to have dark skin. Tell me, is it possible to do a reading on this? 1. Was a “racist” comment made? 2. If it was, did Harry make it? 3. Did Harry marry Meghan hoping to have darker skinned children so he could look “cool”? (As per the tweets suggest). I know talk of race and such is very sensitive as it can veer off into dangerous territory, so I would understand if any of you aren’t willing to go down this road. I heard that rumour when Harry and Meghan became engaged - some comment about 'at least they won't have my pasty skin' by Harry. Lady Colin Campbell has said that the comment was a non-racist, legitimate concern by Princess Anne that Meghan replied to by saying 'you just say that because I am black' and that was twisted by the Harkles into a 'racist' comment. Both scenarios are possible with the Harkles, and it is quite possible that they have combined the two into this mythical racist comment - or decided that another, unrelated comment was 'racist'.

I am happy to read on whether a racist comment was made and if so, who made it (Harry or someone else). I don't feel comfortable reading on harry's fetishes in that detail - my stomach turns at the thought, so I won't be able to do an accurate reading on that topic. I can certainly add the first two to my private list of 'things to read on in the future'. :)

“You seem...stressed.” Rose hedges as another spare part from your speeder goes flying over your shoulder, thrown in a fit of frustration. Around your feet is a circle of parts that have suffered similar fates.

“You think?” You grumble, tightening your grip on your spanner as you work on tightening a very uncooperative screw. You’ve unzipped the top half of your work suit and rolled up the sleeves of your white shirt underneath to your elbows, and an earpiece hangs from one of your lobes, blasting one of your favorite songs lightly while you work. 

Your spanner slips from around the screw again and in the process, you bust your thumb. “Dank ferrik,” you swear, shaking your hand like that’ll ease the sting, before bringing your thumb to your mouth. 

“Why don’t I try?” Rose offers in that gentle yet firm tone she’s mastered that informs you that while she’s phrased it like a suggestion, it’s an order. You take a deep breath and move out of the way, passing her the spanner as she steps underneath the elevated speeder. “What’s bothering you? I haven’t seen you like this in awhile. Is everything good with you and Poe?”

You drop onto the nearest crate, suddenly aware of how badly your body aches. Your shoulders hurt and your lower back is killing you. “Everything’s great between us,” you answer honestly, a smile tugging on your lips. “Really great.”

Rose emerges from under the speeder, wiping grease off her hands. “I’m sensing a ‘but’ coming.”

“Don’t tell me you already got that screw back in.”

Rose’s smile is nearly apologetic. Well, Leia made her head of the tech division for a reason. She comes over and sits down next to you, “So what is it?”

“I’m worried that I’m not close enough to the General,” you admit lowly, cheeks warming up in embarrassment. “I know she likes me, I think she likes just about everyone on the base, but she’s - she’s everything to Poe, and I don’t know...I feel like somehow I’m not doing enough because she seems so much closer to other people.” 

Rose mulls over your confession. “I don’t think you aren’t doing enough, I just think the two of you haven’t yet got the chance to really bond yet, but you will. I know you will, and she’ll love you.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“Poe loves you, that’ll be enough for the General,” Rose tells you with a grin that you quickly find yourself mirroring.

The next morning when you wake up in Poe’s quarters, it’s not in the warm arms of your favorite flyboy, but twisted up in the blankets of the depressingly empty cot. It takes your brain a second to realize that it shouldn’t be empty, but as soon as it does, you’re bolting upright - which is a bad idea, because of how badly you’d gotten tangled up in the sheets. 

You teeter off the mattress and crash into the floor. It takes a few minutes, but you finally wrench your legs free of the fabric, standing up. Poe and Finn should have been en-route home from their supply mission last night, you should have woken up to Poe’s soft curls next to the pillow beside you.

But you hadn’t.

You look around and notice the blinking message light on Poe’s console. It was from command, from Leia, requesting your presence in her office immediately. You don’t even stop to run through the fresher, you don’t even think to get changed out of your night clothes, you just grab one of Poe’s discarded leather jackets and toss it over your shoulders and bolt to her office as soon as you can.

You try not to sound too impatient with the knock you rap against her door, but you think you probably fail in that regard. Your heart hasn’t stopped pounding since reading that message, and your gut is clenched painfully with fear - why had she requested your presence? Where was Poe and Finn and BB-8?

The door opens with a shick a second later and you enter, finding Leia standing alone over a holotable. Her face is shrouded in the pale blue light, her hands braced against the edge of the table. Her cane, which she’s been using more frequently since Crait, is in close reach beside her.

“You wanted to see me, General?” Somehow your voice comes out stronger, clearer than you expected it to. 

Leia looks up and at first glance, it seems as though she’s angry, but then you notice her eyes, the way they’re soft around the corners, the sadness and sparkling fear in them. You’d seen that look once before, when Poe had continued his assault on the Fulminatrix, against her orders.

So, not good.

She appraises your appearance for a beat, almost looking apologetic - for worrying you with her urgent message, though you don’t know that - but the moment swiftly passes, and she’s moving around the table to greet you with a gentle but grave expression, “We received word from Poe and Finn earlier this morning; their mission to Tevel didn’t go according to plan.”

You swallow, trying to focus on the start of her sentence - they had heard from Finn and Poe, this morning. They were alive as of this morning. That was good - and ask, “Were they not able to retrieve the bacta?”

“They were, but they ran into some trouble with the First Order. They’re both alive, but Poe…” Leia’s eyes darken as she grasps your hands with her own. You stare blankly at them, at her weathered ivory skin over your own hands. “Poe was briefly held captive.”

You snap your head back up, “Is he -”

“All Poe would tell me is that they interrogated him,” Leia answers calmly, but you don’t have to be Force Sensitive to sense the worry that’s afflicting her. 

“Again,” you breathe in horror, feeling tears pinprick at the corners of your eyes. He still woke up in the middle of the night from his time on the Finalizer, it killed you to think he’d had to go through anything like that again. There was already so much weighing him down.

Leia, if anything, looks even more pained by your whisper and you remember the rumors of just who Kylo Ren is...your heart squeezes with sympathy, and you mirror it with your hands, hoping to somehow silently reassure her. Then, a new thought forces you to refocus on the situation at hand, “What’s their ETA?”

“They don’t have one,” Leia admits, dropping your hand to move back to the holotable. Her hand grips the handle of her cane and she rests her weight against it as you sidle up beside her, looking over the map she has pulled up. Now that you’re paying closer attention, you can see a small orange dot in an unfamiliar system to you. “Their shuttle crashed on their way back to Ajan Kloss.”

You inhale through your teeth, cheeks puffing out. “I thought Maz’s ship was reliable?”

“They had to abandon it and steal a medical shuttle from the First Order,” Leia says dryly, a note of fondness in her voice that’s mirrored in the small smile that tugs on your lips: of course they’d steal a ship from the First Order.

“What are we going to do? Can we send a team out to rescue them?” 

Leia turns to you and you’re taken aback by the pride in her eyes, “That’s why I contacted you. I’d like you to take a ship to recover Dameron and Finn.” 

You blink and take an actual step back in surprise, hand sliding across the edge of the table. “Me?”

“You’re one of our best pilots and I can’t think of anyone aside from myself that would go above and beyond to ensure they make it home.” Her words are soft and earnest, and you find yourself spinning as she pats you on the shoulder, “Especially Dameron.”

It takes you a minute to understand her meaning, still reeling from the compliment she’d given you, and you’re reminded of Rose’s words the day before. Maybe it wasn’t just enough that Poe loved you, maybe it was enough that you and Leia both loved him. That was what connects you now, and it would be what brings you closer later.

You find yourself giving her a grim smile of utter determination, “When do I leave?”

Just to let you know this won't be the last irisco scenes this season carlos is coming back for the 150th episode and the finale. So that's probably when you'll get your proper goodbye from iris and cisco and I can't wait to see his reaction when he sees nora again and also meeting bart .... those are the type of things I'm looking forward to. I actually enjoyed this episode just as a fan and not someone to pick apart everything but just watch it as a viewer and see how happy carlos was filming this made me enjoy it even more. Could it have been way better absolutely but I already went into this episode with the intent of it being a otf type of episode and who wrote the episode so my mind already knew what this would mostly turn out to be. Now this episode is out the way I'm really ready for the ball to start rolling with these stories and storylines. Was it perfect absolutely not was it my favorite nope but I can say I enjoyed it. To those fans that I see that think Iris is being pushed out the show to me I call BS also from what carlos has mentioned in his interviews he sees that eric is very accommodating to his actors and makes sure they are good not just about their character but them as a person he tries to help them and work with them the best he can and to me that's a good showrunner. Eric has a long way to go when it comes to fixing stuff in the writers room but I will say he's made that set a better place to feel comfortable and work at. Also CP was talking about her experiences with that network which I think eric has tried to do what he can and what he's allowed to do for his actors wellbeing. As for Westallen as we seen in 7x11 when GG and CP are given great material they can really work with it and even when they don't they do their best. Now the Joe and Iris scene I couldn't tell you why it was cut ... timing .... or did they feel it wasn't needed if iris was literally having that same type of convo with kamilia so they choose that one we may never really know so I tend to not worry about those things but I get why some fans would be mad about that especially how it seems to always happen to iris getting her scenes cut but it is what it is I'm not going to keep harping over spoiled milk. I enjoy your blog so much cause it gives us fans a safe space no matter if we agree or not so thank you for that. Here's to hoping the season turns out better for you and the fans that aren't enjoying it right now. I'm more of positive optimistic type of person so I tend to see the positive side of things especially for my mental health. Anyways I don't want to take up to much of your time sorry for this long ass post I'll try to keep it short next time!

I definitely don't think Iris/Candice is being pushed out of the show. There's nothing to suggest that from this season, and I’m not sure why anyone would think this. 

Oh yeah, I mean, I don't really have much hope for meaningful Iris/Cisco scenes, but a small goodbye in the finale would be nice. And I'm glad that Cisco will get to meet Bart and Nora.

Re the Iris/Joe scene: I think it's pretty clear with the benefit of hindsight that that moment was one showcasing Iris's POV about why she was struggling to hire a new photojournalist and that Joe was helping her work through her feelings about Kamilla leaving. It was hopefully a moment of vulnerability, and it wasn't going to be the same moment as the Iris/Kamilla scene, because it was supposed to be Iris working through what she was originally struggling with in the KamIris scene. I would have felt better if Iris and Kamilla got another scene for the sake of closure, where we got to see them have this really supportive, sweet moment, but they did not get that. Part of it is that the show really didn't care about Kamilla at all in the episode and didn't give her any proper sendoff. Additionally, there's the continued fact that Iris scenes are used for promo, but her scenes seem to be the first to end up on the cutting room floor, especially important character-building moments for her, often times shared with her family (her father, her husband, and her daughter). They very well could have cut something else to include the Iris/Joe scene, but they deliberately chose to cut this scene. 

Anyways, with regards to Eric, I don't really agree with his stylistic choices as showrunner, and I am somewhat frustrated as a fan by his... apparent lying about story-lines, therefore indicating that he knows what the people want, but he chooses not to focus on what the people want, but it's clear he's a good boss when it comes to the cast and that he's made the set safer and is the first showrunner who has really listened to Candice and addressed her concerns. I think to a degree we have to separate who Eric is as a boss and our own concerns and grievances with regards to story-telling as fans (which are certainly very valid and reflect upon him as showrunner, but are separate from what he’s done to make the work place environment better).

well idk abt the others but you're not alone, nonnie! if you've seen my interactions you can see how i have mentioned—more than once—that the little green monster on my shoulder is my worst enemy. i try not to let it consume me too much, but jealousy has always been my worst personality trait.

i think your views are valid because it happened to me too— i unfollowed this one writing blog that, in my opinion, had suddenly dedicated all their content to their self-ship. all their posts suddenly turned to moodboards, couple photos from pinterest, and talking about how this one character would act around them. nothing else, day to night, continuously, for a week and a half until i had enough. i don't mind writers being happy about shipping themselves, but when they do it in a blog that they've declared a fanfic writing blog, it throws me off.

it’s absolutely okay to unfollow/not interact with people whose content may make you uncomfortable. it’s certainly much better than sending hate/telling them to stop doing it,,,

one of the reasons why i love tumblr so much is that you can block certain tags, meaning your entire experience here can be tailored to whatever brings you the most comfort. so long as you're not harming other people, i'd say do what you happy.

and i apologize if i offend any writers out there who do this!! it wasn't my intention, and, this is a very personal thing. a lot of your followers probably don't mind at all, so, as i said before, please do what makes you happy. (i'm sorry if you also take offense from this, hazel. i know no one asked for my opinions, i just,,, wanted to share,,,)

The Bunker Party - Debrief

Hey peeps! 

Our latest bunker party was just amazing. My cheeks and my stomach still hurt from laughing...Supernatural seriously does have THEE best fandom and I’m so glad to be a part of it. 

6 and a half hours we were hanging out for…SIX AND A HALF! But to see so many beautiful faces, hear so many lovely voices and to spend time with new people was just a dream!  The support from you guys for each other, the love in this fandom; I can’t express how much I adore it.

Me and @katehuntington​ love holding these events and we are already planning the next live stream (date to be announced) but it will be in August.
