#honkai star rail#dr ratio#veritas ratio#aventurine#aventurine hsr#cherallart#as you can see i forgor i wanted to draw his glasses til like. last second#i can’t believe it’s been like 2 whole months since I last did a whole like. watercolor illustration#part of that’s been bc I’ve been having a bit of a rough semester bc adhd med issues (which are resolved now)#but I really wanted to draw aventurine and ratio. my boys#i’ve been LOVING penacony so far so I needed to get something nice out#anyway I did this while my s/o and I alternated between reading a 500 pg long history book out lout to each other#it’s called ‘the inheritance of rome’ and kinda covers what happened after the collapse of the western roman empire#and tries to identify and explain all the cultural echoes and reverberations and transformations that rose from its ashes#throughout europe north africa and the middle east. anyway it’s super interesting and I highly recommend it#the late antique period is not something often covered/talked abt in public ed hist classes. at least not when I was goin through em#or the transitory period between it and the early medieval period at least#i still got 150 pages left and a final paper due on it in like 4 days but it’s only a 5 pg minimum and I’m a wordy bitch so#i think i can make it#anyway back to that I go

is anyone else using alcohol as a painkiller or is it just me and house out here
#text#I DONT LIKE HOW MUCH I HAVE IN COMMON WITH HIM .#thats the only way im ever able to go out. i pregame so i can get to the bar 😭#tipsy at 8pm so i can get to the restaroau(realizes i cant spell that word) food place so i can spend $14 on a martini#so i can go to the club without collapsing on the ground crying#1 shot of titos for fun. another so i can get back to my friend's house#then i uber home. so i dont have to wake up and pretend im not in pain and agony and my heart rate isnt 130+ til i get home#<- this all happened on a specific night in like september btw.#man. i miss the rage...#well the rage was really bad for my bank account. and my body. and the bpd allegations. but still#its so nice. to have like a couple hours where i can walk around and have fun with my friends#and not send myself home bc i know its a bad idea to Do these things to my body#im able to block out the pain for a while So i do. and i have fun#And then the next morning i go fuck i cant ever do that again.and then i stay in bed all day#but its fun in the moment its so much fun in the moment#alcohol tw#i dont have like. id said i needed a couple days but it ended up being more like a week- i was far more active & Much Much more social than usual, even going to small events exhausts me

serious question: if you have long(ish) hair... where is it supposed to sit? or where does it sit in reality? like, does it go behind your shoulders, off to one side, is it supposed to be all in front of your shoulders, etc?
i am haunted by this dilemma every time i go too long without a haircut and it gets long enough to start shifting around my neck (e.g., now). like it doesn't actually matter because it's not long enough to stay in any given place but like, what are the logistics here?
#the second it gets long enough to move around is the second i've got an army of pins and headbands to lock that shit down#lest i begin biting ripping tearing#also i suspect at least part of me not being able to figure it out is that i have very thin very finely textured hair#as soon as it gets long enough to shift around it basically collapses under its own weight and goes completely flat#so it just feels very flimsy and pathetic where it lays against the back of my neck ya know?#anyway! 30 years on this earth and i have not figured this shit out!#even back when it was long I kept it tied up 100% of the time#currently i'm just biding my time because i couldn't get an appointment til the end of the month 😔

Bonfires are traditionally built along the levees of the Mississippi River to be burned on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. This centuries-old custom has garnered some tourist attention in recent years; the turnout has been quite incredible!

You can follow the progress of the alligator gar bonfire on the builders' facebook, Blood, Sweat, and Bonfires. Be sure to check out the bonfires they've made in the past. They're the pinnacle of Cajun engineering!
To see these in action, you can drive (very slowly) along River Road in St. James and St. Johns Parishes after 7pm on Christmas Eve.

buck should be the dad at costco that has four kids in tow who keep convincing him to buy more snacks than they need with a "dad please these are soo good" "cmon we already got---oh dang look at that price. grab two."
#and then when they get home all the kids run off so bucks left unloading it by himself#except eddie meets him at the door with a smile and a “good haul?”#“oh you know it”#and he keeps handing off boxes to eddie#and eddies just getting increasingly concerned bc how much stuff did he get#and buck is finally like “okay ill bring in the last one”#when he gets to the kitchen he just sees eddie staring at all the boxes before shaking his head#“what eds?”#“you spoil those kids” he says before he laughs “buck i dont think all this is gonna fit in the pantry. and the freezer is already full”#and buck just shrugs and says “so we'll get a chest freezer for the basement. actually im surprised we dont already have one.”#“youre unbelievable. you could just say no to two jumbo boxes of popsicles instead of having us a buy a new appliance.”#“but eddieeeee. summer is coming up and they spend so much time outside i want to make sure they stay cool”#eddie just rolls his eyes bc he wouldve done it too but he loves teasing buck “sure buck thats why. def not bc they said please or anything”#and they somehow make everything fit (barely) and collapse on the couch after tetrising the freezer for an hour and eddies like#“okay yeah we are getting a chest freezer”#and buck grins and leans in to plant an obnoxious and sloppy kiss against eddies cheek#eddie swats him away with a laugh and a “get away from me”#and buck says “make me”#so theyre just pushing each other around and giggling#before buck says. “oh did you see i got you a new pack of socks? they had that one brand you like so i grabbed a pack of black ones.”#and eddie didnt see it buck mustve thrown them in the wash before he saw them and eddie suddenly wants buck soooo badly at 3pm on a sunday#so eddie pushes buck against the arm of the couch and kisses him slow and sweet and murmurs “we're going to bed early tonight”#and buck laughs “costco socks get you all hot huh?”#and they kiss and kiss until eddie can taste bucks smile and hes kissing teeth instead of lips “whats so funny buck”#and buck pulls back grinning with a teasing look in his eye and says “you should wear them when i get you off”#eddie shoves him away with a laugh “no im not wearing socks during that its weird”#“eddieeee cmon heehe it would be so cute cuz you love the socks so much”#“i dont love the socks u idiot” “oh u love me” “shut up” and they giggle and push eachother til chris walks in like “u two r embarrassing”#yayyyyyyy#me thinks
