A wise sage-like character with a much better moral compass who's constantly following them around, giving them stern glares when they're about to be violent, lecturing them on how, "murdering people is wrong and you shouldn't do it," but is 100% ready to help hide the body

Bonus points if the first one is the brightest, bubbliest person ever and has no tragic backstory whatsoever.

I'm too lazy to illustrate it (plus I think I'd get too caught up in the process LMFAO) but when drawing/adding personal touches to Lif's design I am channeling Lio Fotia Promare for his armor (ESP the Mad Burnish armor) Lewis Mystery Skulls (less aesthetic similarities reflected but like, kinda similar broad chested body type similar vibes and important heart motifs) (heart motif isn't pictured in this Lewis image but if you've seen the animated music vids you get it) and literally just any 2D animated Disney villain who is Shaped and Dramatic (and has a huge fucking cape or coat -- tbh the specific ones I think about are Maleficent and Cruella just from the dramatic/big cape standpoint, purely aesthetic)

(fuck it after a lot of thinking Hades is a good one too)

Hello all two of you who are fans of my Overblot fan-designs for Twisted Wonderland

I made a Silver

You know the drill, me talking about design inspo + lineart and alts under the cut

(Yes I hc Silver with Silver eyelashes so the eyelashes are colored on the lineart layer) ^Lineart

I had the random idea of making an alt where the blot on the face was white/silver (badumtish) because Silver’s one of the characters that use light magic instead of void magic, but that’s kinda hard to see with the skin color so Anyways I based my OB!Silver on a mixture of prince Philip’s sword, Riku from Kingdom Hearts, and the spindle that put Aurora/Sleeping Beauty to. Well. Sleep.

The sword inspiration is also why I color picked from Malleus’ Overblot for the skin color, to make Silver look more like a sword, sounds weird but yeah I did actually attempt that with the posing as well

As for the Riku from Kingdom Hearts inspiration, I meant I took inspiration from the Replica, Dark mode, and Dark coat versions Specifically

I mean. I could base it on Riku in general rather then a version but I honestly think it’d be hilarious to twist a TWST oc out of Riku so you could have them and Silver spiderman pointing at each other

(The tap-dancing rodent appears in Kingdom Hearts so yeah technically you should be allowed to make twists of Kingdom Hearts characters for your ocs or even making background NPCs detailed, I know I’m making a Twist oc that’s Twisted from Axel-)

However my initial plan was actually going to base OB!Silver off of knights (based on the sword), the spindle, and Aurora herself

I actually almost finished the lineart when Riku was knocking at my mind with a Rook style “Bonjour.” reminding me of his existence because when I was looking at the Twisted Wiki earlier to educate myself on Silver’s story

(…I’m only on book 4 okay I just know Silver was adopted by Lilia and is randomly going snork mimimi) and saw a comment mentioning Riku

I didn’t think to use Riku as inspiration until I had Silver’s hair on there-

So yeah this first idea right here

It was scrapped, the only thing that stayed as you can see is the thorns on his limbs

(If you wanna know what the colors where gonna be, it was gonna be have dull pink half dull blue)

And also the spindle wheel with thread like puppet strings, but I didn’t even draw that yet before the outfit overhaul

Speaking of that, it wasn’t really supposed to mean anything, I just thought it’d look neat, but I guess you could spin it to be a representation of Maleficents sleeping curse and the fact he just passes out a lot

Anyways all I have to say about his face blot is I kinda tried to make a mask design based on Riku’s mystery blindfolded man design because Eh the Overblot Silver is inspired by Riku anyways

Okay guys, recently I re-watched Descendants, and decided to redesign Mal, if she looked like her parents. I wanted to make her look more like her father. (She has tiny fangs btw, like a vampire)

I used the original disney Hades & Maleficent as the inspo, and added some of my own touch;) (I also gave Mal a full name, which is Malora)

In my Rise of red Au I think it’d be funny to take a look at a castle coming non canon one shot…

I don’t have time to write it like my usual stuff but it’d go like this…

So this is the timeline where the OGV’s ( original villaindon’t care about Ella or Bridget in a negative way so its obviously not a cannon story:

So the OGVs, since they’re almost all first gen villains don’t have a direct evil goal they want to accomplish yet. Uli banded them all together under the idea of just being opposed to the norms of their society like her sister but obviously she wants to be more then her sister so she’s overcompensating by being evil and mean for no real reason.

(Hook is the only one who really has a direct evil goal of killing Peter Pan as revenge for cutting off his hand while they’re on school/ College)

My Au is also aged up to typical university ages of 18-20 for the main cast..

So Castle Coming is arriving and Uliana is tryna convince her crew all to not go as some show of how much cooler they are then their peers. But Hades and Maleficent say fawk no cause they already paid to go together. So Uli zeros in on Hook and Morgie, but Hook already asked Morgie like a week prior while they were chilling in the library 💀

So now Ulis whole friend group is going together and they all have a date except her so she swears for weeks up to the event that she won’t go with them.

Hades and Hook are sitting back near the food watching Morgie and Maleficent dance together. My Hook is a buff guy so he eats a lot, he’s literally just tearing up the party food while Hades is gushing about his girlfriend. And Hades is like wishing he could dance better for his gf and kinda being a simp. So Hooks just like “cool story bro” with a mouth full of food and just sweeps Morgie off his feet on the dance floor. He and Hades have a hate-bromance relationship so Hades is like steaming in the background. Of course Mali comes over and dances with his clumsy ass anyways.

Then finally Uliana pops in ashamed cause she actually really wanted to come with her freinds 😔🙏

I also can’t find a irl image but I’m imaging this flowing dark purple maxi dress and the big ass boots cause she’s not like other girls ya know??

But they like dance into the night and I’m sure Bridget and Ella and Charming are off somewhere chilling too

She's my main inspiration for her! The scene of her gleefully laughing as she terrorizes Van Helsing in the town is analogous to Bloo finally losing her grip and exacting revenge on the village that treated her like vermin.

Bloo is a spawn of Levistus - the Archdevil of the frozen wastes of Stygia. Resourceful and cunning, her fiendish gifts become amplified once she accepts Raphael's deal and draws power from her imprisoned father.

I know I just made a Miraculous AU, but since Rise of Red I also really wanted to make this one.

I present: Descendants if it wasn’t a modern mess.

The time setting is a vague one, but still near renaissance where most fairytales could happen. (Cruella will be altered a lot bc obviously) so no phones, cars, etc.

I also wanted to emphasize the nonhuman-ness of her, so took inspo from 2014 Maleficent and added more 1997 Hades vibes.

WEAKNESSES:

I'd like to put it out there that I have taken some inspo from the live action maleficent and video games. ANYWAYS.

Dragons in Makara's colony are weak to a multitude of things such as: Magical Items / weapons, alchemical metals, and general material produced through alchemy, certain botany found / ores found within their homeland, Things inflicted by other monsters and, surprisingly, Standard things the Fae are often weak to themselves.

Although this ranges depending on who you ask and so do the side effects. Here are makara's own:

IRON : The standard weakness of the fae and Makara. Although, to her, it's more of a REALLY bad case of hives breaking out and itch than anything. Occasionally suffers from skin burns.

DRACONIWM : A type of metal that is made from a mixture of steel and a dragons blood. Soldiers of the order use this as its common to use against a dragon, and inflicts devastating piercing damage on targets. Can easily penetrate the hide, shattering the dragons scales.

COCKATRICE VENOM : Not lethal, technically, however renders makara in a state of stupor at first. This does, however, escalate to complete paralysis for a period.

Makara does NOT actively wear enchanted items or wield enchanted weapons. Usually, it breaks into hives, or it may burn the skin in the same vein that Iron does, ALSO impacting her resilience / strength significantly. Harmful effects vary from one to another.

MAKARA HERSELF:

Makara has a flame breath, which can be utilized to produce either a stream of fire or explosive blasts. Additionally, it is also able to release a cloud of flammable dust and set it alight. The fire does not come naturally to her funnily enough. Whenever she attempts to utilize this ability, you can hear the first few chk's as if someone is trying to use a lighter. You can also visually see the bright hit glow on her chest flicker, with her usage attempt, too.

Makara runs hot VERY often and most times radiates the heat. It is said that the heat is to the extent of melting through armors / weapons / burn others alive. Makara CANNOT handle her own body heat and often suffers from heat exhaustion.

Mostly noted by the trafficker, Cedric, but there is a chance that Makara possesses an extraordinary extent of self-recovery, potentially even extending even after being killed. Cedric has since placed a bounty on her head, although not as high as the one placed on her by the order.

Wearers are known to disappear mysteriously without a trace or even die if armor made from her scales is worn for too long. Someone who wears armor made from makara's scales will be cursed to become the next host and become a dragon of her magnitude, obtaining her memories and the likes. Maybe even extending to the prior reincarnating via this newfound control?

Makara has a LARGE wingspan, and her wings are FAR too heavy on her back. She can do as much movement as she could before her wings become exhausted. Has yet to build enough strength as to fly at the moment.

I'm actually curious about these two

I was researching abt Jude's cs his character inspo and Ellis's a little vague despite inspired by Sleeping Beauty, so i dig up little bits about them. Jude and Ellis was inspired by Sleeping Beauty---but in Brother's Grimm version. The 13th wizard was known as Carabosse (or later on changed as Maleficent) which idk why it sounds better originally. And the name had to do with Tchaikovskv's famous ballet. And then i look up on Ellis's profile too.

Does this mean both of them were inspired by Brothers Grimm version Sleeping Beauty (Little Briar Rose) ? It could be that Cybird changed some parts of the inspiration, but its interesting to dig up about it and how the original version's more authentic than Disney's rendition. Cant wait to read their route!
