a definitive list of costumes i think stoncy would dress up as for halloween

the three musketeers — self explanatory

rock paper scissors — also self-explanatory

spider-men — steve’s idea. in a modern au setting i think maybe they’d do this the year after spiderverse came out. jonathan would dress up as tobey’s spider-man, steve would dress up as peter b. parker (with the sweatpants), and nancy would dress up as spider-gwen with her pointe shoes. their halloween instagram pic would be them recreating the pointing spider-man meme

three little pigs — an alternative costume after jonathan veto’ed the three blind mice

wizard of oz — they group up with robin, vickie, and argyle for this one. nancy is the scarecrow, steve is the cowardly lion, jonathan is the tin man, vickie is glinda, robin is the wicked witch of the west, and argyle is of course dorothy

christine, the phantom, and raoul from the phantom of the opera — it came out in 1986!!! nancy’s idea because she loves christine’s costumes. the phantom could go either steve or jonathan but is it bad if i say steve as the phantom would be hot…

s’mores — worn the year after rock paper scissors. originally they were going to dress as luke, leia, and han, but jonathan and steve both refused to be luke if nancy was being leia so the idea was scrapped. nancy is the marshmallow, jonathan is the graham cracker, and steve is the chocolate. the costume is cute but they all feel silly and nancy makes the executive decision that they’re never dressing up as a food related costume again

challengers — would have to be in a modern au setting unless you want to picture stoncy as tashi, art, and patrick in their 50s which is valid. nancy as tashi, jonathan as art, and steve as patrick of course

OFF is the best! Everything down to the great story, the art (that kind of reminds me of Shel Silverstein's illustrations,) the characters, the intrigue; it all just contributes to the idea that Mortis Ghost is a chad when it comes to gamemaking, but I obviously don't need to tell you that.

@offthings THE hub for miscellaneous OFF posts. It is humorous, it has some fun facts about the game/characters that I never knew about, and in general the blog makes it seem like a great community.

@wavywhiskers The art here is yummy. If you like yassified Batty + Zacharie, then this is for you. Fashion. Aesthetic. Color. No words, I seriously cannot promote the art enough.

@heybattabattaswing This blog has produced some amazing short comics with a unique artstyle. It is funny, delivers some unnecessarily hard lines, and again, the art is wonderful.

@nam3-kun OFF just seems to have a ton of great artists, or at leasts produces some great artists. This one is no exception, with lots of handsomely-shaped Batter/Zacharie/Sucre/Vader Eloha, funny OFF memes, and putting our favorites in great outfits!

@gosta-jostar Similar to nam3-kun in style, and if you like Zacharie with lots of color, then this is the blog for you! The blog seems to be very new, but lordy lordy does it have sweet-looking art.

Ah, well... if you would like to hear it I suppose I can share. I apologize in advance for this.

(Also typed it up on my phone before going to work so I'll leave it with you so I don't forget. Feel free to share this or keep it to yourself. I'll leave you to decide what to do with it.)

So this is more in relation to anon's fic they gifted you, but like, I had the thought after reading that of yeah, Phantom knew what they had to do when they pushed Copia away like they did. And we see the effects that confrontation had on them both. But what if on Phantom's side the pain of it was so great that it's too much for them.

"What have I done? But this is what I was supposed to do. To keep him safe. But it hurts. It hurts and I want- no, it's done. That's it. He'll never... I'll never..."

And those spiraling thoughts and regret and guilt give way to Phantom gradually starting to wither away. They try to brush off concern from the other ghouls, but eventually there will be no hiding it. It was done the moment they pushed their Papa away. And maybe, distantly, Phantom thinks maybe Copia resents them for it, despite his final words when they last met.

And at this point, this begs the question. Does Copia actually ever find out about this? He hasn't really seen or heard from Phantom since that day. Maybe another ghoul (Aether maybe) takes a risk and tells Copia once it becomes clear what’s going on with Phantom (maybe leading to Copia trying to somehow seek out Phantom, any consequences disregarded because *it's Phantom*)? Or... does he not find out until it's too late?

I would consider writing this myself but idk because 1) Cold Walls was your gift from the fic anon and 2) I am admittedly a bit new to this fandom in general (picked up Prequelle a few months ago and that was that. I still need to look into some of the actual lore before next summer (Boston ritual!)). My only contribution thus far is a silly drawing lol

And I loveeee that idea. Unhappy endings are *chef’s kiss* but also could you imagine Phantom being so so terrified when Aether comes to get them and says about how there’s a way to see Copia? OOF💀
