✨ERAS TOUR NOLA N1✨

my eras tour search started the moment she announced in november 2022. we all frantically signed up to make sure we were verified fans to *possibly* get a code to buy tickets, but for many of us that never happened.

I didn’t think it was in the cards for me to make it to eras tour after not being able to go to any shows, but in the last few weeks I manifested any positive vibes I could and searched tirelessly for tickets. I followed resale accounts for info on the tickmaster drops, and spent literally days refreshing the queue in case it opened up for those of us previously waitlisted. the second the queue opened I tried to enter but wasn’t let in. same goes for family also trying to get tickets. I told myself if it was meant to happen it would and focused all of my energy on some sort of miracle happening the day of…. and it did.

with the help of literal ticket fairy @9w1ft I was able to secure a ticket friday morning for the first nola show that night, and I spent the rest of the day grinning like a little kid. even though i was suffering (and still am) from an ear infection, go figure, I felt so relieved. so my sister and I decided to try to get some merch that morning, but the lines were so long and sizes were running out so we walked around the city.

i have never seen a city go all out for taylor like new orleans. from a swiftie welcome center at the airport, to hotels, small businesses selling merch, the zoo, friendship bracelet stations everywhere, local bars, restaurants, city wide eras themed events, to taylor’s music being played everywhere. the stadium even hung a two huge friendship bracelets on the outside. the preparation and anticipation from everyone everywhere did not go unnoticed.

it was incredible, and the pure joy in the streets was palpable. everywhere you looked there was glitter, sparkles and happiness. it made me so happy!

it didn’t truly sink in until i got to my seat and took in the view (@9w1ft pat yourself on the back girl!) i know it sounds weird but it felt like all the hard times i’ve gone through for the last year and a half disappeared. what did it for me was being around 65,000 people who were experiencing and spreading copious amounts of pure joy because of taylor and her music. you could feel it. THIS is what she does for people. and it was powerful. to think of everything going on in the world, and then going to this place that felt safe and happy and carefree. it’s an irreplaceable experience. and I wholeheartedly take back what I said about people going to 3+ shows. I would go every chance I got too if I knew it would feel like that.

the thought and attention to detail taylor put into this show is mind blowing and is a masterclass of artistry and the impact she’s had on pop culture and music for the past 18 years. the stamina and ability to perform for three hours every night is also insane, and she does it so effortlessly. I could go on and on about how truly magical it was and how grateful I am to have had the chance to finally experience it. it was a long time coming. i’ll always remember what it felt like to attend the iconic eras tour! it’s a love letter to her fans.

Dawkjndaekhfbwkehfbweihbf. So I drew these babies😫. Idek how this idea came to be tbh, all I remember is being at work and a kidnapping AU type situation spawning in my mind for these characters. I love Crona so much and had to draw them at some point. I’m still in the middle of watching the series so no spoilers pls🧍🏽‍♀️other than that I just thought this would be funny, and given how much social interaction Crona lacks, something like this would totally happen as a misunderstanding 😂.

This is really just Medusa finding another way to manipulate Crona further but it ends up being a mess and Stein gets involved at some point lmao. Think more like, unsociable kid who has weird tendencies and no concept of boundaries as a result of their damaged upbringing. After this whole situation is over Maka just finds Crona a bit creepy but goes along with it long enough to escape. I might include some extras for this later on at some point but this was fun to do. I wanted to add a bit of Ragnorok being a sucker for romance because there is ZERO action in his life since he is attached to Crona, and he instigates these cute moments between the two but it never goes as planned because he too is a bit slow on catching onto social queues. However I didn’t have enough space to include that lol. Ragnorok is just so adorable in his shrunken size that I had to include him. (Neither of them has any idea what they’re doing when trying to braid Maka’s hair, Rgnrk is just tying knots and Crona is….twisting her hair??? I’ll let you decide lmao.) Also, ik it looks a bit off bc of the proportions and unevenness but I made this for fun and the goofy proportions bring the vibe I was going for.

And if you see anything out of place or uncolored, no you don’t. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

in fact, it’s been so long that it feels surreal to see you standing in front of him. you still look so pretty, and he notes that there are no longer dark bags underneath your eyes. you’re radiant; though, he supposes it’s because of the man next to you with a cat-like appearance. you’ve looked so much happier ever since he started seeing the two of you next to one another, seemingly glued to each other’s hips.

mingi knows that you see him, he can tell by the way your eyes widened slightly before softening. you smile at him and he smiles back just as you walk away, your laughter echoing loudly in your eyes at something the man says to you.

and at that moment, if someone were to ask him how it feels to love you, mingi would say that loving you is beautifully warm.

yeah, loving you feels like the warmth that hugs you when you walk in the snow. loving you feels like the warming pads that he carries around in his pockets, the ones he grips with all his might to not feel cold. loving you is like craving heat and warmth in the cold.

it wasn’t always like that.

at one point, loving you felt like blooming flowers.

but not it isn’t because mingi realized he loves you a little too late.

I am actually. So happy. I did not expect NEARLY much interest in the music comms, and I am so so excited. I'm currently at a total of 30 new submissions and what will be a total of 34 completed tracks!!! Ideally that will make *two complete volumes of music* !!!!!

I think looking through this sheet is when how beautiful the self ship community really hit me? 99% of the characters are all from different medias. Video games, comics, movies, TV shows. You could swear up and down that night air could heal any wounds. Not literally, but nothing can dry your tears faster than the soft wind with a light chill that exists no matter the season. This belief is how you ended up walking with one of your closest friends as the sun began to set.

Taehyun is someone that has always been by your side through everything. Through past relationships that never worked out, through family drama, through exams, through everything that you had ever faced Taehyun was there for you and you were there for him. It was this closeness that first sparked your feelings towards him. 

It was always stolen glances and wishes that his actions were something more than friendly but you kept your feelings quiet because the only thing worse than rejection would be living without him in your life. 

Little did you know Taehyun had also fallen for you, he had fallen harder than you could have ever imagined. You had fallen for him first but he had fallen harder for you, honestly it’s as if it was a romance novel, and it was only a matter of time until one of you began to crack. 

It just so happened that this one warm June night was the time that Taehyun had enough of the secrecy and decided that it was time for open admiration of who he thought was the most beautiful person he has ever seen. So while sat on the swings watching as the sky shifts from orange to inky black he waited until he felt the time was right to tell you how he had fallen head over heels for his best friend.

As the stars began to reflect in your eyes he felt that there was no better time to reveal his feelings as he turned to you and poured his heart into the world letting all fears of rejection melt away as he focuses on the way that your face seems to glow under the moonlight. It was only after he had finished that he noticed the smile spread wide across your face as you began to laugh into the night air. 

This was not out of mockery but out of pure joy that the man you had always viewed as too good, too handsome, too smart actually liked you back. It felt amazing to know that the person you had fallen for had fallen just as deep for you. Looking into his eyes and telling him that you felt the same was the best feeling as you knew that you now had someone who would love you endlessly and never leave your side. Walking back to his car, hand in hand it felt as if everything had righted itself as you knew that the future would be full of unconditional love and kindness.  

The night air had a way of changing things. Good or bad the darkness always brought a change and this night just made you believe that even more but with the way that Taehyun looked at you, you knew that his feelings wouldn't be changing anytime soon.

2) mini saturday trip to the city with ransom! getting all dressed up (he dresses up too bc he knows it’ll make you happy 😌) and he takes you out in his nicest car, wanting to show you off and treat you like royalty hehe 🫶 going to all the nicest shoppes and boutiques, him spoiling you with whatever you want and more, “look at this, baby! you gotta try it on, gonna look so pretty on you. no no no, don’t look at the price tag, sweetheart. it’s your special day, remember? c’mon, let me spoil my girl” 🥺 maybe seeing a play or ballet in the afternoon, then getting ice cream! more shopping and sightseeing, then a luxurious dinner at the nicest restaurant in the city 😌 he def rents out the whole place for you, you fall asleep on the car ride home to him singing softly to the radio 😌

Hello Fellow Fandom Enjoyer!

Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet dedicated to reading fanfiction! You can call me Ace, I use she/her pronouns, and I was born in the *90s*. You can click here to go to my main blog to see how I use tumblr more regularly and get to know me a little better 🩶

This blog is 18+ out of respect for the authors that I reblog! Some of them are explicitly SFW and may not mind having minors hanging out, but the majority of whom I reblog from are not. This measure is for their comfort.

After nearly 10 years on tumblr, I found myself overwhelmed by all of the fanfiction that I wanted to read by all of the talented writers on this hellsite (affectionate). My main is a bit of a mess, which was hindering my ability to read them. I honestly should have done this a lot sooner. And so this blog was born.

I will not be writing my own fanfiction. That is not where I find joy in fandom spaces. The closest you can get to me writing my own fanfiction, is my ramblings over on my selfship blog, here.

If I end up reblogging something that you would rather I didn't, please please please reach out. I don't want to make you uncomfortable in a space that is meant to be about appreciation and love.

I do have a dedicated tagging system, which you can find here, but it's not particularly detailed. If you would like me to tag something specific (#non-con, #choking, etc.) do not hesitate to reach out.

I do engage with some dark content, and that's all I will say on the matter. If that makes you uncomfy, you can ask me to tag it accordingly, or just not interact with my blog. I won't be hurt by you choosing to cater your own internet experience.

I have my own squicks that I would prefer not to read or engage with. Sometimes I will choose to do so, regardless of the squick, but please don't see it as a reflection on your writing if I choose not to engage with a fic. And I do not believe in shaming anyone who does choose to engage with that content. I do not owe you the knowledge of what my squicks are, and I would prefer not to be asked. This also goes for characters and fandoms that I choose not to read for.

This is a hyper-specific space. It is for me to reblog fics I want to read, and reblogging them again once I have read them (usually with my thoughts on the piece). I will not engage with or entertain discourse on this blog—if you use this space for your discourse (in any capacity), you will be blocked. This is your only warning.

I apologize if you find yourself being bombarded by notifications from me at the current time. As I collect the works I want to read, I put them into my queue to then churn out at a much later date. Depending on how I'm feeling, it might even end up being a fresh reblog and not into the queue. Eventually it will stop, I promise! (the bombardment, not me reblogging in general) 🩶

#not cats – creatures that do not otherwise fit inside my four designated categories: #cats, #birbs, #dragons, or #dogs are an anomaly here

#fandom writ large – either multi-fandom posts, or posts about generic fandom culture

#selfship things – was used for selfship content/responses, but I have a whole blog for that now
