Hey! Just here to spread a little bit of joy!

I don't EXACTLY know what my kintype is but I've categorized it as a seaserpent/river lindworm. During the summer I got to go swimming a lot and watched Ruby Gilmen; Teenage Kraken! My wife is supportive so I got to talk to her about making gear and the fastest way to swim. This year/summer has been difficult but this is a little bit of joy that at least to me is very accessible.

To all the ocean dwellers I just wanna say: You may not find anybody talking about your kintype, you may not be supported by anyone, and you may not be able to do things other otherkin/your kintype could do. But you are a creature of the sea. Your own special self 🌊

Stuff about Milo/ Deep BLU Sniper:

He's a human turned Kraken. He exchanged his humanity and life as a human as a former fishing boat captain to save his former crew mate turned pyromaniac "Skipper", the Deep BLU teams Pyro. The sea wanted a life for a life. The incident also was the cause of my pyro's spiral into pyromania and instability.

Due to his current "condition" he is strictly on a pescatarian style (aka fish only) diet. Other meats and poultry make him extremely sick. Although he can have other seafood, diary, veggies, fruits, greens and the like without much of a problem. It helps him keep up an appearance of still being human.

His eyes sometimes turn more Cephalopod like when he's experiencing an extreme emotion like rage or when his animalistic instincts take over. Sometimes it happens without his consent. His eyes can also change into a golden color when this happens but it's not often.

He has the ability for metachrosis (physiological color change) much like an octopus for his hair, skin and eyes. It doesn't affect his clothes. Because of this he has slight camouflage abilities, making it easy for him to blend into the background, giving him the illusion of "cloaking" like Spy's watch ability. Most of the time he has to fight the urge to do this around others. He also sometimes unconsciously changes the color of his hair depending on his mood.

Sometimes he can summon squid tentacles from his back. It's extremely painful for him to do so and it ruins his shirts 99% of the time. Because of this he wears race back style tank tops so he doesn't rip his shirts open if his tentacles come through his back suddenly. His jacket is just bulky and sturdy enough to hide and hold his tentacles from sight if it happens while he's out on the field. He awkwardly has to play it off until he can force himself to "retract" his tentacles. Usually causes a bloody mess on his back.

Thanks to his "gift", he's very flexible and tends to bend much like a contortionist if given the chance.

He has to keep hydrated constantly, so he has a water bottle on him at all times. He can get very sick if he becomes dehydrated. (This explains his in canon use of Jarate lol)

His blood is much darker in the light than most human blood. It's more akin to ink than anything else so he has to be very careful not to get hurt for this to be revealed. Usually he gets human blood transfusions before each battle so it offsets his odd ink like blood in appearance and cover his tracks. Thankfully he's AB+ so he can take any blood type as a donation for this endeavor.

He has a slightly fishy smell mixed with his human "musk".

His fingers sometimes become slightly sticky at the fingertips due to microscopic suckers in place of his fingerprints so he has to be careful with this so he doesn't reveal his "Cephalopod" like traits.

The only reason he can draw a traditional style bow without strain is his newfound strength as a giant squid like monster in a human shell with the added curse of "stickiness" from his sucker like finger tips.

He's about 6' tall and has quite a lean body type.

When he's scared or startled, his inky blood will mix with his spit, creating actual squid ink. He plays it off as having chewable tobacco in his mouth when he has to get rid of it.

He can breathe underwater. It's something he's still getting accustomed too as his first instinct when under deep water is to panic like most would. He can swim but trauma is a large factor for this knee jerk reaction.

He has a very slow but passive regeneration ability that can help keep him from bleeding out from deep cuts and help him regenerate and heal overtime if he can find a place to nurse his wounds. This is how he can heal his back constantly after summoning and retracting his tentacles.

He is colorblind with a mostly monochromatic vision with the only colors he's able to see clearly is Blues and Yellows. Just like an octopus's vision!

His condition is a big secret even within his own team. Only the Deep BLU teams admin assistant Miss Cecilia, the main Administrator, Miss Pauling and my Pyro Skipper know. Later on Felix my Medic finds out. My Spy also finds out after rescuing him from Felix.

He does have a boyfriend named Dingo (who's owned by @darrowfire15 ). He eventually learns about Milos condition.

🦑🦇Sharing my BramCraft headcanons bc they make me ill🦇🦑

They first met way before Bram got chopped in half, so theyve known each other for centuries

They met kinda like how mermaid aus happen. Lovecraft was snoozing underwater when one day one of the fishermen living on Bram’s fief caught him

I have a hc that Lovecraft has a multitude of sizes for his monster form so he can stay relatively hidden under rocks and such as to not be disturbed, so when the fisherman caught him, he was kinda just this mass of weird green tentacles that fit in the palm of this guy’s hand

Lovecraft was actually still sleeping when he was caught, so he didn’t wake up and kill everyone on the boat

This weird sea creature was brought to Bram for inspection, who was pretty much able to see right through what Lovecraft was

In order to protect the people of his fief, Bram told them he’d handle it and brought Lovecraft to the shore by himself and awoke him

When Lovecraft woke up, he didn’t feel like attacking this random guy and just wanted to go back to sea, so the two of them made a truce

…and then Lovecraft realized he was on a completely different continent than the one he called home, which meant he had to swim all the way back

That was what they both thought would be the last time they’d ever see each other, but they’d be wrong

Several hundred years later, Lovecraft (somehow) ended up near Bram’s fief by accident once again

This time, though, he ended up accidentally protecting the fief. He was probably just strolling through the woods and was in a bad mood & some random attackers pissed him off or smth

Bram found him, and they both just kinda stared at one another. Like “holy shit how is this guy from hundreds of years ago still alive”

Bram invited Lovecraft to his manor as an honored guest bc not only did Lovecraft protect the land, but also their truce from all those years ago was still holding up

This was probably around a time of war for Bram’s land too tbh

Bram’s people were confused abt why their lord brought in this random homeless guy, especially in hard times for them, but he assured them that they could trust Lovecraft

They didn’t question each other’s immortality. They simply felt a connection between the two of them- they were similar, and that was all they needed to know

Alas war was still going on, but the two of them SWEPT the battlefield together (they just want to live in peace)

When witnessing each other in combat and each others’ abilities (well not so much as an ability for Lovecraft but ykwim), they both just thought “ahh. that makes sense”

Bram’s country won the war with these two powerhouses! Hip Hip Hooray!

Around this era was probably the peak of BramCraft. They understood each other and never pushed the other for information. They both simply wanted peace and quiet, and living together in a manor no longer engaged in war allowed that

Lovecraft, who was previously simply a guest in Bram’s land because of their silly truce and somewhat a weapon for the war, was now no longer sleeping in the guest bedroom (he was seeing what the hype of human life was all about) and was very close to Bram

The people of Bram’s land never saw much of Lovecraft, who always stayed inside the manor, but Bram was quite social with the commonfolk

Bram still behaved like a lord and knew they weren’t on his level, but he was engaged in their lives and the harvests and such

He probably used them in war by turning them to vampires to fight against the enemy before turning them back, so he kind of felt he had an obligation to treat them well as thanks

Of course, all good things must come to an end, as this was just a temporary era of theirs

They both knew this wouldn’t last forever (despite both being immortal/being able to live forever). Sooner or later, SOMETHING would force them apart, so they agreed to say their goodbyes before that could happen

Before going their separate ways, though, Bram took Lovecraft on a long tour of the entire fief

Lovecraft ended up growing a fascination with the peasants, especially the farmers and their crops as well as having a slight distaste for fishermen (this would also become the reason why he and Steinbeck become close friends)

They say their goodbyes, and the golden era of BramCraft comes to an end 💔

Things just kinda spiral downward from there, especially for Bram (curses, Fukuchi) (i also just rlly wanna know what happened with the girl that looks like Aya)

And now, Lovecraft is probably sleeping at the bottom of the ocean once more, and Bram keeps complaining about wanting to sleep in his coffin

and for my hearttypes, i've always really liked those animals. I don't necessarily identify as those animals but i often find myself wishing i could turn into them or be them.

dunmeshi au for my twst ocs bc I fell head first in the dungeon and got brain damage

ok so this is set in the dunmeshi world but it's a separate story, unrelated to the main plot and characters

Shipwreck Cove is a dungeon on a cliff by the sea, near a coastal town. it's impossible to reach it by sea, as it's surrounded by constant whirlpools, the only way to get in is by climbing to the highest point of the cliff

great part of it's inner structure is submerged or surrounded by water, but it's still frequented by many adventurers bc the water that flows to the upper levels seems to have slight curative properties. legend says the water at the heart of the dungeon can heal incurable illnesses or even grant eternal life

🦑 Morgan (gnome) has been lord of the dungeon for something around ten years. his original wish is a secret

he was once an adventurer. he's an experienced mage both at healing magic and offensive spells (and has also studied the darks in secret), but his weak legs slowed down the party, who had no qualms in letting him know so, either by reproaching him or straight up letting him fall behind

one day, angry and frustrated, Morgan abandoned his party and ventured deeper into the dungeon by himself. by the time he noticed, he had reached the deepest level and, well, things happened

Morgan has severe abandonment issues. he created the quaintest little dungeon to lock himself in with his close circle. it was a beautiful and safe place, so that people could come and go at their leisure

soon enough, Morgan started feeling like people went more than they came back, so he started tweaking the dungeon bit by bit to discourage people from roaming. changing pathways, setting traps, creating more monsters. generally making it increasingly harder to navigate, until it became practically inhabitable except for the designated safe area, which was still pretty much a little eden

his resentment was such that he would find a way to make people part of the dungeon itself

at some point, tired of his body and of his lack of power over others, he turned himself into a kraken chimera, sealed his demon in a chest immediately afterwards, and has since then lived locked up with the few people he could trap in a wrecked ship at the deepest point of the dungeon, guarded by an ever larger kraken (that's his pet that he feeds other monsters and hapless adventurers to lol)

[only one person was ever able to escape Morgan's dungeon, an elf that used to be his closest confidant. however, just as they were about to step out, Morgan stole and sealed their magic in a locket that he keeps somewhere in his ship-home

this elf lives in a secluded area further than the outskirts of town, where they welcome adventurers to whom they offer incredible things in exchange of them traveling and conquering the dungeon, with the intention of getting back their powers that way]

🐒 Blake (tallman) and 🎇 Jacob (dwarf) are a pair of adventurers that hate each other yet have been working together for years lmao

they're quite successful in their expeditions but they're insufferable, so they're always looking for new members for their party bc the previous ones got fed up and left sksksk

they arrived at Shipwreck Cove following the legend of the water of life, each of them for their own reasons

(I still haven't decided if monkey Jacob exists in this au)

⚫ Avon and ⚪ Alba are a pair of walking mushrooms that are always together. they're funny to look at from afar, but they have a nasty vibe when you get close so adventurers prefer avoiding them

Morgan enjoys watching them tussle, so when more people started going in the dungeon he made them an area where they can still be seen while being out of reach enough from strangers. they've become some sort of a local attraction

(I originally thought to make them half foot florists, but a friend came up with this idea and I thought it was so funny that I adopted it lol)

🕰️ Eri (elf) is an historian. he feels a fascination for the short lived races, so he moves to different towns for periods at a time to document the daily lives of those who live and pass through there

🌻Lucas (kobold) is more of an explorer than an adventurer. he and 🛰️ Xander (dwarf), an inventor, travel the world together looking for strange materials and objects for Xander's experiments

🐻 Björn (tallman, bear beastkin) is an adventurer from the north that likes showing off his strength. he travels from one place to another looking for new challenges and creatures to beat

⏳ Noya (gnome) a scholar with an expertise in magical artifacts, who also studies the development of magic. since he's not allowed to study the origins of magic, he has had to settle for observing and studying how it evolves in every day contexts. he occasionally crosses paths with Eri

💋 Philly (elf) is a criminal enlisted by the Canaries against his will. his crimes include theft and selling of magical artifacts, arson, and murder, but true cause of his conviction was attempting to use the dark arts to extend his tallman lover's lifespan

(he's a die hard fan of the Daltan Clan novels and all the other prisoners hate him bc it's all he ever talks about sksbsk)

🎶 Aedon (tallman) kabru without the trauma is barkeep by day and singer by night. they like watching people and trying to guess their stories

Ahoy, mateys! This ask game be very late because Jack be a chowder-headed landlubber and forgot to post the scurvy thing! But shiver me timbers, we’re hoisting the black flag anyway, by thunder! Yo ho!

Wow, pirate speak is fun. Anyway! I’m not going to do a new ask game this week; instead I’m going to finally get the signups out for the custom ones and start work on those! But if you have any ideas for genres to do, I’m still accepting those for the poll!

And one more thing- every time I post one of these there’s a couple people that ask me questions from it. That’s so sweet and I appreciate it so much, but for these ask games it isn’t necessary! I usually don’t have OCs that match the genre, these are just for the community that might!
