🥚 - To what extent should the Eggpire's former members be held responsible for their actions under the Egg's influence? Oooh special interest, be prepared for a long-ass answer. Also, since this is gonna be so long, I'll just reblog my answer to the other two questions. TLDR for those not interested in individual explanations: It varies character to character but for the sake of angst, drama, personal enjoyment, and enjoyment of seeing my favorite characters going through it, I love incorporating this very question into my own stories as a very real side-plot and moral question between revenge and rehabilitation, which would tie in well with the other concurring arcs' themes of retribution, what the line between justice and revenge is, redemption, loss of trust... Ugh talk about waste of potential in canon.... (God forbid the dsmp ever let multiple plotlines intersect in a way that is cool and ties the whole story together) Anyways, I answered this a long time ago, and since then the egg finale happened, so I have a new opinion. c!Hannah, Ponk, even Ant (although he was a blood thirsty little murder kitty) stay the same in that, they were all desperate people taken advantage of (and sometimes even abducted) into being egg-controlled, much like a real cult. Unlike a real cult though, where no matter how brainwashed someone might be we generally treat them as responsible for the crimes they committed, the egg has mind control at it's disposal.

I still don't know how the egg is supposed to actually work in canon lore, like as an ancient parasite, as a fungus, as a supernatural curse...? And at this point we'll never find out, but the point is these people- all of them but especially those three, were under the egg's complete control of their minds, and if not that then at least their was some version of TLOU cordyceps-esq type scenario, but where even if the egg's influence on their minds could at least wane somewhat, (I'll get back to that with the other three offical eggpire members) It still controlled their bodies via muscles. (This probably isn't intended at all, and if the egg solely controlled their muscles, the infected would probably be less able to do things such as plan banquets... but it's a fun concept to explore) Now for the other three, c!Bad, c!Punz, and c!Skeppy (I know he doesn't technically count but I'm ignoring that.) c!Punz is a special case because I feel like they either forgot or didn't care that they were at one point a part of the early eggpire. They weren't at the red banquet. And even though I thought they'd be a Chekhov's gun type situation where he'd come to play in the revival book lore, where it could have been revealed c!stagedduo were working to strengthen the egg as equal-partnership (at least in their minds) allies, in order to distract the SMP by using the killing of c!Vikk and Lazar as a means to feed the egg. Or maybe the Sam Bucket finale stream, or the c!Sam's multiple bodies finale, or the egg finale, or even maybe the finale finale Tommy finale. Which could have with Punz unleashing the egg on c!Clingyduo, betraying c!Dream for it, or idk, something. But nope he was to busy being a walking revival book and god forbid the loose plot threads of the dsmp ever get tied together in a reasonable manor. Also their was that time he was kinda sad c!Tommy died and showed signs of resisting the egg but that just. Doesn't line up with any further characterization we get of him, especially that finale. But even though c!Punz wasn't there at the most memorable egg atrocity, if we're talking about holding dsmp characters accountable for their atrocities, there's a whole other laundry list of crimes c!Punz committed while fully in control of his body. c!Bad is also interesting, because does seem to be able to break out of egg control for a moment so he can yell at c!Skeppy. But that obviously didn't last long enough for him to not go ahead with the red banquet... But it's worth remembering he like the first three was desperate for Skeppy to come back, although that isn't an excuse for any of his actions. But if anyone besides c!Ant was gonna be punished for the red banquet, or c!Sam being trapped, or the multiple Puffy assassination attempts, It would be c!Bad who organized, lead and founded the eggpire in the first place. (Hey c!Sam why'd you demote c!Hannah and treat her like shit for betraying your trust when c!Bad and c!Ant, the men you had carry out one of the jobs you consider most important, keeping c!dream in the prison betrayed you not once but fucking twice, and three times if you count c!Bad giving enderwalk c!ranboo the prison blue prints? And lastly, c!Skeppy, who wasn't a part of the official eggpire but may as well be the reason it formed considering c!Bad's motivation. But i'm not focusing on that, i'm focusing on the last egg lore stream, where it's revealed c!Skeppy made a deal after waking up from his death unegged and killing c!Bad to uninfect him, and then presumably coordinate everything from the red herring evidence being planted to pushing c!Puffy down the hole. And I think he was reinfected somewhere along the way? Anyways by that point I don't really think anyone cares about how in control you were of yourself or why you listened to the giant murder egg, you done fucked up and started the apocalypse.

i was a dragon hybrid ( so were the rest of the eggs ) , with red wings and a tail that had like a pale orange underside ? also had red horns that were closer to being on my forehead , and the left one had a crack on it .

i had short curly-ish blonde hair with a brown streak through it , nd also very very bright blue eyes . had tan skin that had a lot of freckles on it , also had a few small scars across the face .

i usually wore a red hoodie that was stained with grass , and khaki shorts . also white socks that were always bunched up for some reason , and red sneakers .

I don't have enough followers to fuel this so I'm going through all of them in one go:

📖- Generally I'd say post Eret's betrayal was where it was treated more seriously, though the pre-Wilbur disc war is the furthest back things are brought up in the narrative.

🇬🇧- I'm not sure any were justified. Techno was (somewhat) justified in his anger in both occasions but it was Wilbur and then Dream who rigged it to explode.

🌸-kill God, solve whatever the hell Karl is supposed to be doing, fully talk about what has happened to each of them, lots and lots of talking, and physical and temporal proximity

🟢-His goal in no way justifies the murder, torture, manipulation, and reality bending he used to try and get it.

💀- I think so, but it certainly could've been used better. I would be interested to see how the story would go with Dream's potential permadeath and Ghostbur's permanence.

💣-Not really? They break the most politically manipulative and oppressive person out of jail, and the Eggpire is difficult to compare to any real government.

🏜-Fundy might've if he wasn't plagued by visions and a gambling addiction.

🥚-It's difficult to judge any of them when their perception of reality was forcibly altered, and most characters who joined were in high emotional turmoil.

🏝-Yes. I still think even by some of the finale's weird additions the point was still explicitly to 'break' Tommy.

💥-I would say he owed Tubbo quite an apology, his actions causing the most direct harm to Tubbo that he could have foreseen. Phil should probably apologize for stabbing the mentally unwell man when mildly pressured to.

🐝-Neither of them are particularly healthy on their own, Tubbo exploits Ranboo's amnesia, and both of them hide massive amounts of information from each other. I know they both knew they had secrets, but they probably didn't guess "I'm working for Technoblade and maybe Dream" and "I have nuclear warheads"

👻-I don't buy it

🔪- Dream Dream Dream. I want to see the world without him in it.

🔳-I'd find it more interesting if he was.

💙-??? I'd be interested to see them try and pull that off.

🎦- I think seeing Dream genuinely caught off guard and have to somewhat desperately work his way back up was better, but I do like some aspects such as him being willing to live in the prison

😈- The Egg obv, just by virtue of being a semi-backstory-less completely alien and malicious parasitic being, and Dream by virtue of literally never changing when presented with the opportunity and choosing to get worse.

🌍-Absolutely not, mainly due to the easily accessible resources and extremely small population

🏳️‍🌈-Eh? Karlnapity was good but felt somewhat ignored as romantic as time progressed, there was a lot of good but not really textually romantic stuff (Skephalo, Tntduo, Quackcicle, etc etc). Puffychu didn't go very far. Ponk really held us up

⏰️-Fundy physically hurts me to think about. I have inadvertently made Technoblade an old man in my fics. Wilbur should not be trusted with any timekeeping device. I don't understand how Boomer's epilogue lines up.

This OC Game of Thrones story. I knew I wasn't gonna write it when I made the moodboard but the idea still doesn't leave me alone.

The Darkling feels you staring from the side, from the spot that he came to call yours, in his favourite armchair which you moved from its place to his desk. 

The frown deepening on his forehead is not a result of his late-night work on a problem for a change. He feels your connection, which he still tries to deny, practically vibrating in the space between you with your held-back curiosity until it became a truly pestering feeling like an itch he can’t ignore anymore.

He sighs, still not turning to you but raising his gaze from the papers on his desk to stare ahead, refusing to give in more to the hold you have on him.

"You can say whatever is it you want."

A long moment of silence followed the inquiry that wasn’t phrased as a question but sounded like a demand. You waited until he finally looked at you.

"No, I don't think I can," you answered, tilting your head to the side like you are still contemplating the possibilities while you study him with unyielding fascination. When he saw the flash of fear cross through your expressive eyes, he went on to assure you that you have no reason to be afraid in his presence.

"I won't hurt you." 

His reply resulted in something unexpected. Your giggle. 

The General was shocked, to say the least. This fierce, almost bloodthirsty, angry girl, his enemy, his captive, the girl whose temper and dark heart was a match for his, is laughing like an angel and he feels like he is drunk on the sound of it.

“I’m not afraid of you,” you answer gently, still smiling as the room lightens up due to the dissolving shadows the Darkling didn’t even realise were surrounding him.

Yes. It’s really the only thing that makes sense with side characters not played by cc!s like c!Sally and c!Eren’s parents. More over C!techno says in his last lore stream “where I come from people don’t have three lives” implying that there is a population of people living in the nether and in h016 c!wilbur notes the citizens of Las Nevadas are sleep when he sneaks in to steal boner implying once again that there is a population outside of the streamers. That was a really long way of saying yes😭

🍺 should c!Schlatt be revived.

Yes if they can commit to the lore and not drop the story line. C!Schlatt coming back has so much potential and has been hinted at ever since his death. It brings up so many questions and a perfect chance to parallel c!Wilbur and c!Schlatts arcs like they did in the pogtopia era . Not to mention what it would do for c!Quackity. His abuser coming back especially at a time when he’s so emotionally venerable. (he’s basically lost everyone) would be so cool to watch. Their dynamic in the Las nevadas stream awesome especially with c!Quackity very quickly falling back to his submissive position and trying to not upset c!Schlatt. My only worry is the plot line would get dropped mid way through and that would suck. Also cc!Schlatt seems to high key hate dsmp fans so idk if he want to come back.

🥚 did I like the egg arc

Yes and no. I loved the egg arc and also hated it. I think it’s downfall was being the one of the first arcs I’m s3 where you could really see the cracks in the writing and the lack of contact between cc!s. Ex: they kept saying their would be an ending and there never really was. Ccs not taking it seriously was also a huge issue. Finally the red dinner party or whatever it was called sucked. I’m so sorry I love the eggpire to death but was my least favorite lore stream I’ve ever watched. ON THE OTHER HAND. It was such a cool idea and I think cc!bad, cc!sam cc!skeepy ect did the best they could with almost none of the fans or the content creators taking it seriously. (Shout out to cc!tommy and cc!Q for including it in their lore in a meaningful way)

👍 was Wilbur a good leader before his spiral

This is gonna surprise some ppl but yes. C!Wilbur loved La Manberg and fought for it. If he was good person or not is a different question but c!Wilbur was good leader. He fought for the man until the last second during the The La Manberg ccs GDSMP and put himself In danger to keep his men safe. During La Manberg area he keep the country moving even when he cried and screamed into his pillow every night. The La Manberg that most of the characters loved and wanted to copy time and time again was Wilbur’s La Manberg.
