Ok, so, what if Steve, Rosie, and a very pregnant omega are in London for one of Steve’s business trips. While Steve is doing business omega and Rosie tour the city (with a bodyguard ofc) but Omega and Rosie get separated from the bodyguard getting lost in the city. They end up running into Bucky, oh no, omegas paralyzed with fear as Bucky tries to get closer only for Steve to show up last minute with his bodyguard (Steve rushed out of his meeting to go find Rosie and omega as soon as the bodyguard said he lost them)

Steve rushes omega and Rosie into the car so they don’t have to see him beating Bucky black and blue. He’s about to hurt Bucky before omega calls for him. He lets Bucky go with a warning punch to the face. He spends the rest of the day with omega and Rosie, making sure to treat omega extra gentle because of what happened

On the streets of London, and Bucky would think he’s hallucinating and he’s seen an angel or something 😭😭 and he’d come up and tap omega on the shoulder and she’d turn around and immediately freeze in fear and hold Rosie tighter.

And Bucky would be like “Please, I’m not gonna hurt you.” And there are so many things he wants to say! He wants to apologise, say he loves her, say she looks well, say her baby looks well. But he’s tongue tied and also upset because omega looks afraid of him 🥲 and he knows he deserves it! But Rosie is a friendly baby so she reaches out to touch Bucky and that’s when omega snaps out of her paralysing fear and backs up and then Steve shows up!

Steve doesn’t beat Bucky up bc he’s past doing things like that. He puts omega and the baby in the town car with two bodyguards, and then he tells Bucky to leave his family alone. A part of Steve wants to ask if Bucky’s doing okay but he doesn’t ask, bc ultimately he can never forgive Bucky and knows he can’t have a friendship with him anymore.

In the end, Bucky is left standing in the busy street by himself. Hating himself. He goes home to his empty apartment and pours himself a drink. The end.

every single tags ya'll leave on me posts and past questions i recieve about this au is super appreciated, they make me smile the widest you have no clue!! im just a lil mad at myself that i couldn't expand on this au more so yall could have had more crumbs. irl stuff happened + still getting the hang of drawing and socializing again after years of doing neither of those 😭

but still, im glad i could share this comfort comic i made for myself, and for you guys too. it's a pretty personal one despite the characters not being mine 😅 i hope that you can walk away from this story believing (entirely or not) that someone out there still thinks of you, whether they're from a late/absent loved one who still wants the best for you or a dear friend who will make room in their hearts for you. life will never not be hard, but if you keep them close to your heart, adulting will be bearable 🫂
