Lily - What would ultimately give the yandere’s true intentions away? Does the yandere do it on purpose, or is it an accident? 

Macaque is cunning enough not to leave these things out in the open, but mischievous enough to playfully hint at them all the while. He certainly has a flair for the dramatic, alluding to his darker intentions in a manner that makes you unsure if he’s joking or not and using smooth-talk to manipulate your feelings. However if push comes to shove he’s not afraid to be more open about it, although he resents having to give the game away so soon. It would have to be someone else’s goodwill that warns you of his selfish nature, but by then it might already be too late.

Narcissus - Does this yandere prefer to infiltrate their darling’s life, or do they prefer to take their darling away? 

Although he would much prefer having his darling to himself, hidden away somewhere where you could never betray him and run away, he’s well aware that if you have people likely to go looking for you, they’ll only get in the way. So he’s likely to try and get close to you in order to influence you, maybe by staging an accident where he saves your life, just to manipulate you into turning your back on your friends and bringing you running into his waiting arms to ‘protect’ you.

Pansy - What was it that ultimately sparked their obsession? 

Seeing his darling’s trust betrayed by someone would doubtless get under his skin in a way that makes him fixate on you, seeing you get hurt in a way he can heavily relate to would itch at him until he can’t seem to focus on anything else. Especially if and when it gets in the way of his ability to concentrate on fighting or brooding. He spends the majority of his time alone so it’s not hard for thoughts to smog and twist his mind, driving him to follow you from the shadows to ensure your safety. He just wants to make sure you’re not betrayed once more, or so he says to himself to begin with.

One of the very first book series I read at the start of my journey was the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. Ever since then, it’s been very near and dear to my heart, especially Audrey Rose Wadsworth. She’s such an inspiration and I love everything about her, and it’s always a joy to reread and see her journey. I love how she’s a forensic pathologist, and it’s always so fascinating reading about her and her love for what she does. I also love that she isn’t afraid to be girly and always enjoys stunning and beautiful dresses, despite her macabre job. I seriously cannot get enough of this beautiful piece by the insanely awesome and talented @lauriques who added such gorgeous and fitting elements I didn’t even think of! She truly made this piece come to life and I cannot thank her enough for taking my request!

Cypress - How does this yandere comfort their upset darling? 

He would never be outright about caring for your feelings if he can help it. At least not in a way that’s apparent to people who don’t know him well. He would avoid words, perhaps deciding to stay by your side until you feel better, maybe twining his tail around you in a reassuring manner that he refuses to acknowledge. Any shared words would be simple and sweet, he’s not going to fuss over verbal sentiment unless it’s him that made you upset in the first place.

Hydrangea - How would this yandere react if their darling gave them affection? What is their internal thought process like? 

He would likely put his guard up, unsure of how to handle you being openly affectionate with him in a way that wasn’t initiated by himself. He’d assume you were trying to put his guard down so you could escape while he felt soft or something of the like, rejecting your reciprocation. If you kept at it for a while though you would slowly but surely chip away at his defences until he felt safe being vulnerable with you.

Lime blossom - Does the yandere’s feelings for their darling fall more under “love” or lust? 

It’s hard to say, even Macaque isn’t sure how he feels about his darling. Perhaps it’s lust that developed into something more, or a general lovelust for your affection and attention that draws him into spending as much time with you by his side as possible. A churning sea of emotion that’s murky depths contain a selfish desire to keep you as his broils in his eyes as much as he tries to hide it.

Gardenia - Is the yandere most content watching their darling from afar, or do they feel the need to interact directly with them? Does it vacillate between the two? 

The Narrator adores attention, and he’s nothing without an audience. The desire to feel his darling’s focus exclusively on him will drive him to interact with you as soon as possible, and being unable to directly communicate with you would frustrate him to no end. He’s perfectly content interacting without a physical form at first, using his words and voice to hold your focus on him, but it’s not long before he’ll start wondering what it’s like to get more up close and personal with you.

Myrtle - Is this yandere consistently the same during the time they spend with their darling, or does their attitude begin to change? If so, what prompts the change?

The Narrator can be prone to developmentally obsessive behaviour, taking a while to figure out his feelings on a matter before acting accordingly. He might take a bit to puzzle apart his fixation on his darling, with a brief phase of denial before giving in to it entirely.

Cypress - How does this yandere comfort their upset darling?

Black Pearl has no idea how to comfort anyone, very much less someone so comparably small. She’s far more used to striking terror and fear into the hearts of sailors. But if it consoles you she would calm the seas she calls home for once, let their careful ripples rock soothingly in a manner so unlike their usual tidal waves that drag cookies to their death at the bottom of the ocean floor. The thunderous hails would quieten and only soothing rain would fall over the grey ocean waves.

Hydrangea - How would this yandere react if their darling gave them affection? What is their internal thought process like? 

She’s quite caught off-guard, unused to any kind of contact that isn’t wholly negative for so long. She’s likely conflicted, unsure how to feel about it. On one hand she’s been so insistent against wanting affection, hasn’t she? But the feeling isn’t a negative one, and this puzzles her. It might take her a while to get used to it, and she may not react positively to it to begin with, but she could certainly grow to tolerate it, especially if it’s you.

Pansy - What was it that ultimately sparked their obsession? 

A darling that not only survived the depths of the Duskgloom sea’s horrors after their ship went down, but returned to investigate the beautiful yet deadly siren of the deep in person would certainly intrigue her, and such an interesting cookie certainly can’t be permitted to escape her a second time. To be allowed to wander away in one piece purely on a passing whim of hers only to come back again like a bad penny? Now that’s a treasure she’d love to know more about.

Primrose - In the yandere’s ideal world, what would their relationship with their darling be like? 

Cookies are insignificant little things to the powerful titan of the ocean that she is, and you only a little barely less so. She could hardly treat you as an equal on any conceivable plane of reality, so you’ll have to settle for being her prized treasure instead. The crowning jewel in her throne of wrecked debris and sunken hopes, her darling would be no more and no less than the other spoils stolen from shipwrecks over the years, and treated as such.

I understand completely, I have plenty of favourites myself! Here’s who I had ideas for;

Narcissus - Does this yandere prefer to infiltrate their darling’s life, or do they prefer to take their darling away? 

Affogato Cookie - Affogato definitely leans moreso toward the latter option, perhaps because he’s an outcast himself ever since the events of his attempted usurping of the throne. However his techniques are far more subtle than outright kidnapping. Manipulating your trust until you don’t believe anyone except him is a piece of cake for Affogato, who’s already so well versed in the process. The only difference is he simply has to make you isolate yourself from everyone you know, and be ready to comfort you at the end when everyone you loved has turned from you and he’s all you have left.

Red Velvet Cookie - Very much so the latter. Red Velvet is inexperienced with social nuances and dynamics, and trying to introduce himself into any kind of relationship with his darling organically or inorganically without seeming antisocial at best and a threat at worst would be difficult for him. The cake tower is his home, and a far more comfortable environment for the crimson general than the day-to-day ongoings of his darling’s life in the kingdom. So if he can’t bring himself closer to you, he’ll just have to bring you closer to him.

Madeleine Cookie - Infiltration is such a sneaky word for it, when Madeleine more or less waltzed into his darling’s life and rooted himself in it without giving you a say in the matter. Who wouldn’t want to be in the presence of such a radiant paladin as himself after all~? He’s always there when you need him most (or least, depending on how you see it), all shining armour and smiles that could blind the sun should you so much as drop something. Worst of all is everyone else believes you’re the lucky one for having someone so dashing and noble looking out for you.

Caramel Arrow Cookie - Caramel Arrow is not entirely dissimilar from Affogato in that she teaches you not to trust those around you, but in a manner in which she genuinely believes it’s for your own good. Her days in the citadel where there are insiders working against you and her own king threw her into the cold after she’d done nothing but the right thing had her on guard for traitors 24/7, and she’d hate to have anything remotely similar happen to you. She’s not so extreme as to isolate you from everything and everyone you know, but if she notices someone trying to get close to you she’s immediately on guard. No one will hurt her darling while she’s around.

Lily - What would ultimately give the yandere’s true intentions away? Does the yandere do it on purpose, or is it an accident? 

It would be entirely an accident, the last thing he wants to do is make you think he’s untrustworthy. Almond Cookie might not realise nor understand his own intentions himself, and if he did he would entirely try to justify or deny them. It would take a while to catch on to his overprotective mannerisms, and the lengths he’d go to keep his darling safe, but it’s doubtless to happen sooner or later.

Gardenia - Is the yandere most content watching their darling from afar, or do they feel the need to interact directly with them? Does it vacillate between the two? 

He’s fairly content with making sure his darling is doing well from aside. His line of work can be dangerous and he’d hardly want you to get caught up in it or used against him by some low-life. He’s not unfamiliar with investigating cookies subtly, and he could get very close to you without you noticing it if he so chose.

Jasmine - How would this yandere use their status/money in their favor? 

Almond Cookie has a very high standing here and there as a respectable and adept detective as well as a professor. So it wouldn’t be hard for him to collect information from your day-to-day interactions without question, easily gaining access to your personal information and ensuring that anyone who tries to mess with you encounters more than a few bumps in their professional and private lives. Honeysuckle - Would this yandere prefer to “tie-down” their darling through marriage or having/adopting kids? 

Rye lives a life on the move, and it would be harder to tie anything down and still keep an eye on you when she’s constantly on the hunt for criminals. If she desperately wanted to keep you obliged and obedient to her she’d likely be able to find some way to frame you for some crime, and then manipulate the system and her connections to the law to have you legally placed under her watchful eye as penance. However if you were easier to hold under her thumb from afar she would be less than opposed to keeping her little spouse captive somewhere in the middle of the desert with a kid or two to stop you attempting to escape. Not that she wouldn’t recapture you immediately if you did.

Pansy - What was it that ultimately sparked their obsession? 

Perhaps you were the first pretty little thing to catch her attention in some boring, remote town, a lovely desert flower she was dying to pluck for herself. And when she stumbles upon you much later once more, this time at the mercy of a bandit holding you hostage, she can hardly be blamed for thinking you look so tempting bound and gagged. Of course she’d much rather it be herself whose shoulder you were tossed over, but that could be easily remedied by dispatching the criminal with ease and taking you for herself. Who knows, maybe she’ll keep you instead of the bounty prize, and everyone else would be none the wiser.

Primrose - In the yandere’s ideal world, what would their relationship with their darling be like? 

A life spent bounty-hunting 24/7 can be more than tiring and frustrating at times, and at times she’d like nothing more than a comfortable home to go back to and a willing darling waiting to take her jacket and cuddle with by a roaring fire. Captive or not you’d eventually mellow out with time and warm up to her a little, she just needs to be firm about it with you. But if you attempt escaping she might entertain your hopes for a moment to play with your silly attempts, letting you get so close to freedom before snatching you up at the last second and making you sit in her lap as she horserides the both of you back home

Gardenia - Is the yandere most content watching their darling from afar, or do they feel the need to interact directly with them? Does it vacillate between the two? 

Knight Cookie is not the best with social interactions, and he’d much sooner watch over you from afar than risk embarrassing himself in front of you. He puts you on a pedestal, thinking himself unworthy of your attention. Even with encouragement from his friends and Princess Cookie he’d find it hard to approach you, the only thing that could stir him into action being you being under threat or in danger, prompting to do his very best to save you from the situation.

Hydrangea - How would this yandere react if their darling gave them affection? What is their internal thought process like? 

At first? Immediate panic. The poor thing can’t handle the attention he barely thought was possible to begin with. He’d start blushing like crazy, getting so flustered over it he’d obsess about it for days. Wondering if you really meant to or if it was somehow an accident. Perhaps you’d meant it for someone else…? Upon reassurance he’s still doubtful, but he can’t say he minds one way or another.

Peony - How shameless is this yandere? Do they care about their public image and or private image, and how does that affect how they treat their darling? 

Knight Cookie is hyper aware of his behaviour, obsessing over every little second he’s around you to make sure he’s not acting out of the ordinary, and doing his very best to make it seem like you’re not on his mind 24/7 whenever you so much as glance in his direction. However, if he managed to pull off a feat when you were endangered such as saving you from a dragon or rescuing you somehow, his confidence would be boosted enough to improve the entire situation as a whole.

Cypress - How does this yandere comfort their upset darling? 

She would love to sing something for you, even if it’s just gentle humming while rubbing your back, a song she wrote with you in mind or a lullaby that you find soothing. The both of you wearing something comfortable and your head resting in her lap as she sings softly.

Lily - What would ultimately give the yandere’s true intentions away? Does the yandere do it on purpose, or is it an accident? 

The closest Parfait Cookie would come to giving the game away on purpose would be through her lyrics, she often finds her eyes latching onto you in the crowd as she sings her honey-sweet ballad as if drawn in by a magnet. Though she would never normally let on her true feelings outside of her writing, should she one day break from the pressure placed upon her she just might let it slip~

Lotus - How does this yandere ultimately view their darling? As someone greater than them and in need or reverence, someone lower than them, or somewhere in between? 

This all depends on where her self-worth is, her career affecting her deeply. If this is the blooming songwriter Parfait Cookie finds inspiration in your mannerisms and features, she may very well revere you as her muse and hail you as someone far too lovely for herself, instead worshipping you through her craft and passion. But if this is the jaded pop-star Parfait Cookie, tired from the constant attention stardom brings her and only wanting a break from her adoring masses, she might see you as a little naïve and starstruck, unaware of the relentless lifestyle of a celebrity.
