💭: What scenario do you return to when you think about this selfship? How does it make you feel?

Getting personal as fuck with this first question here, but I invented a faceless, shitty older half-brother oc for Emerson to bounce some backstory off of. He’d be semi-involved with the villain/hero world, mainly someone who’d help Emerson create and repair weapons and gear and be unattainable and unapproachable for them. Someone they’re kind of devoted to, if you whittle them down to their little-kid core, who doesn’t want much to do with them in turn.

Swear to god this wasn’t intentional but it kiiiinda reverse mirrors Ray and Henry in a fun way where Henry, after some kind of Event where Em puts themself wayyyy out there for the sake of their half-brother or does something at his request and gets the shit kicked out of them. And then after the fact, Henry would be like, hey could we please fucking talk about this. Which leaves him WIDE open to Emerson’s reverse pot shot of OH we’re going to talk about unhealthy attachments here? We’re going to talk about endangerment? Like if there is one thing about Emerson it is that they are Always going to take the opportunity to imply but never state explicitly that Henry is a victim of grooming which drives him CRAZY because he’s like hello what this is our mutual friendboss?? my mentorbuddy? my brotherroommate?? the man I've spent the most time with out of anyone since I was thirteen?? and Emerson’s just like. okay well i won't say anything more about it today but did you hear what you just said.

but it’s whatever and silly and flippant until this point, because Emerson is hurting and angry that Henry’s even treading this territory and it just kind of drips from their mouth in a way it hasn’t before. Here let me link the nonsensical writeup I’ll copypaste it verbatim from my notes app just for this ask. …realizing now how much of their reaction is a messy kind of envy, here, also. Yuck!

I just love this Emerson because I can be a real dysfunctional little shit with them and like. Just kind of poke at certain themes and feelings in such a ridiculous way. They're my power fantasy smooth-talking bad guy sona which somehow also means I am also torturing them with an inability to manage any of their emotional issues. Do you ever take a look at an s/i you crafted during a certain year or event and go mmm fuck I’m telling on myself too much with this one? Well not me I never do that.

⛓️: Is your f/o protective or possessive? Why one over the other?

💙❤️💙❤️ yeah. I love him so much. I’d say protective more than possessive— when they first meet, during Henry’s senior year, Em only sticks with him long enough for a couple of dates before they ditch him for the next target (they’ve been hired to reveal the identity of kid danger and captain man. they narrowed it down to a high school and went undercover as a new student. they are. well they didn’t quite get it right but they got close. <3) so he’s kind of carrying a little bit of that minor rejection into the relationship when it truly begins in earnest (after identity shenanigans and villainous activities ensue) PLUS the betrayal of learning that it was totally fake that whole time and the shame of falling for it like some kind of amateur. So even AFTER said shenanigans, he’s still partly steeling himself for Em to up and leave in the middle of the night if he screws up and gives them a reason to. (I am the toxic one here. he is perfect and wonderful) So I think he’s got enough self control to not be outwardly possessive, even if he’s feeling it. Sulky little baby.

Protective, though, that’s kind of his whole thing! Hard to turn the hero part of your brain off, even when it’s looking at a murderer. He’s not like, annoying about it, though— he doesn’t ever (successfully) try to stop Em from doing things. Again— can’t scare them off. Better to tag along, anyway! He’s good at working as half of a pair.

And THEN he's gotta even defend the idea of trusting and engaging with me post-betrayal reveal to his friends, who have just watched me dump and sell him out AND KIDNAP HIM. the fact that the kidnapping was extremely unsuccessful grants me little favor. (I win 'em over, though. Love them too much. And like, the distrust is warranted, and I respect them for that, and I think that helps.)

The Fairytale Special (WH AU)

Last week or so I made a document explaining about that Welcome Home AU of mine you have seen me post from time to time (The Fairytale Special). It even explains why it's got such a goddamn long name!!

Summary

Sort of a "falling in love with your bodyguard" story, but set in a more fairytale-ish setting? This AU is rather simple compared to others. It doesn't have a well-written, complex concept you may have seen from other artists.

By the way the title, The Fairytale Special, isn’t meant to be pretentious (I swear my ego isn’t that big): it’s not special, it’s a special! It’s meant to be seen kinda like a TV special for Welcome Home! Everyone is still The Silly(™) deep down.

Yes, I guess it is! The main topic is Wally Darling/The Guard (nickname for my sona in this AU lol). There's also a bit of Howdy Pillar/Eden Mawnten (my Welcome Home OC)

But if you know me, y’know romance is not all there is! I just self-indulged a bit, but I try to make this AU approachable to anyone that might be interested! (Fr I don’t bite)

Set in a Home that it’s divided in Houses (yes, they’re called the Houses of Home).

There's a celebration for the ruler of a neighbouring kingdom, Queen Eden and Lord Pillar’s engagement in the caterpillar’s land. Obviously everyone has been invited— including Lord Darling! After learning that the most powerful leader in Home would attend their celebration alone, Queen Eden decides to send her personal escort to keep Lord Darling safe: The Guard.

Imagine a road movie but there are horses instead (?)

Home is a mansion in this Special. It even has its own personal library (Wally likes to use it. He’s fallen asleep there more than once)

It was called The Fantasy Special at first, but there aren’t really that many fantasy elements so I changed it. Sometimes I keep calling it that on accident tho

I keep making Wally a bit of a bookworm on accident. Eager to learn?

Tbh I’m still figuring some stuff out, but let it be known not all the classic neighbors (Welcome Home cast) are House leaders

I'm very grateful you're here to simply accompany me even though it's the middle of our summer break.

Besides, it's supposed to be my duty to take King out for a walk.

Yes, this dog — a noble Golden Retriever — is the Young Master's pet...

His name is King.

Do you like dogs? I'm not very good with them for some reason...

I must overcome this. I want to be a flawless servant with no weaknesses to exploit...

But I can't forget my childhood trauma so half-heartedly.

Mentally, I understand that King no longer poses any threat to me as he has mellowed out over the years.

But no matter what I do, I end up losing to the fact I have such a weakness. Just like the Young Master, King would pick on me quite a lot, after all.

He's done many clever, underhanded things that make me want to doubt if dogs really are on the cute side — like biting me, barking at me, knocking me down to the ground...

Aah, just thinking about it gives me the chills.

I'm certain he thinks I'm of a lower rank than him. He has quite a big ego — did he take after his owner?

But I'm relieved he seems to like you, Anzu-san.

I had to take King for a walk at the park as per the Young Master's orders...

But doing that by myself seemed difficult, no matter how hard I tried.

This is NOT about to be your average I grew followers this is how you do it. I’m about to breakdown what I’ve learned & witnessed over the last month based on platform. At this time both notes & achievements rolled out. Also IG’s overall engagement was down. HOWEVER, I found that reach for photos consistently resulted in more page visits. Carousels drew in more event professionals starting out and/or looking to collaborate. Photos of an event setup images had the highest reach per post but the least engagement. What was most interesting was that my stories had a lot of new viewers who weren’t following. Reels just didn’t hit for me. @facebook is where my Reels got traction. Almost faithfully reaching 200+. (I will admit not every reel I posted on IG made it to Facebook.) Reached high as 1k+ and it lead to unexpected followers. My photo posts got NO traction. I found that sharing to groups where it added value helped my carousels achieve reach and get more event pros reaching out. If Facebook gives reels feet, @youtube Shorts gives them WINGS! I’ve found my reach on YouTube doing the highest numbers of ANY platform period. I’ve seen them do best posted late at night & early in the morning. I make post too but they seldom get traction there. Once I added to the videos for folks to subscribe it happened more. And content with action does best. @tiktok seems to require posting when your analytic show your current followers are on at the highest volume. I realized it’s important to only watch & engage with what you want to see because the algorithm there is SENSITIVE. Do a follow train or a trend, it’s going to flood you with more of it. By staying in the lane, you reach more who will do business instead of consume content without action. Got followers daily. Mf is so annoying about it to the point that you get annoyed to even receive something so genuine.

The little fan not only wanted to confess but also get The Hanma Shuji mad as hell so they sent the letter to his damn office.

Hanma Shuji doesn’t get jealous.

No when you tell him everyday that you love him. Doesn’t even need to be with him doing something, you just look at him randomly and go “Love ya, reaper”

That’s why he’s cocky as hell about your relationship.

“Would you look at that! Almost made me blush with those words!!” He says after reading the letter out loud. You are groaning in embarrassment behind Kisaki.

he wouldn’t really understand his feelings at first, thinking ur just a really good friend of his and that’s why he cares so much about u. everyone on the team notices his behavior change every time u come watch during practice. he would smile more and talk in a soft voice only u get to hear. he also cracks a joke or two and stares at u with a soft smile grazing his face when u laugh or talk about ur day. he acts even more like a gentleman to u : opening doors for u, writing double notes during classes cause he knows u tend to fall asleep due to ur non-existent sleep schedule and walking u home after school (making sure he’s the one walking on the outside of the sidewalk incase a car speeds by). it’s not until aran pointed this all out, did he realize he actually likes u more than friends

iwaizumi hajime

mans would try to act lowkey about his crush on u, but he actually fails miserably at it. the third years make fun of him a lot for having a crush on u. seeming so intimidating to others, but the moment u walk by he’s a completely different person, this all much to iwa’s annoyance. he would be the type to do little things that would make u happy, opting to help u with ur homework when he sees u struggling during class and bringing ur favorite snacks with him during those tutor sessions or carrying ur books when he sees u having a hard time carrying it all. he would also stand up for u if other people are harassing u, even willing to fight the dumbass who dares talk shit about u. he does tend to feel a bit awkward around u, cause honestly ur presence intimidate him. this results in him making lame ass jokes to try to get rid of the awkwardness and getting mad the moment he hears oiks, matsu and makki cry with laughter

miya atsumu

he would be so obvious about it omg, like the way he keeps on trying to show off his skills when u come watch him play is honestly kinda ridiculous at this point. he would fix himself up for u as much as he can. i’m speaking spraying half his perfume bottle on himself and using his limited edition axe deodorant. every time they win a match he will come up to u and ask for his celebratory hug and being the kind and oblivious soul u are, u actually do without thinking much of it. he would not stop smiling after that, until ‘samu painfully reminds him again that u two are not together, cause his brother hasn’t had the balls to ask u out yet. needless to say, they ended up fighting after that

bokuto kōtarō

this man right here doesn’t even try to hide his obvious crush on u, but u always write it off as him being a very nice and social butterfly. he would compliment u every chance he got, actually pay attention when u talk and remembering the most random facts about u. unfortunately for him, u think he’s acting this way cause he’s always friendly and bubbly to everyone. it takes him a lot of tries and errors to show u that the way he acts around u, is because he likes u more than friends. he would definitely ask his team members for advice. konoha would tell him to act all smooth and stuff, but that ended up being a disaster as he got to distracted by ur looks that he didn’t see the stairs. u had to help him to the infirmary lmao

kuroo tetsurō

he’s actually quite shy when talking to u, using his provocative personality to hide his obvious crush on u. so when u received some love letters these past weeks, he kept on bugging u about ur ‘secret admirer’. unbeknownst to u, he’s actually the one to type (yes u read that right) these love letters on his dad’s typewriter, cause he knows that u would figure out it’s him if he would handwrite them. he really wants to ask u out, but when he isn’t being a pain in the ass to u, he actually stutters and mumbles a lot while talking to u. u actually find it a cute habit of his, but he feels to embarrassed every time it happens

sakusa kiyoomi

he’s not rlly fond of most people and he tends to keep a distance most (if not all) the time, but with u it’s different. he actually likes being around u and he makes it a point to inch closer to where u are in a crowd, cause u make him feel at ease. obviously u don’t mind it, opting to let it slide and not mention anything. when u do tho, he would deny it turning his head while calling u ‘delusional’. there is no bite to his words, so u laugh it off and when u look closely at him before he turns away, u’ll see a slight blush creep up his neck
