I understand why people ship us, I really do, but in my own memories I was so emotionally stunted from keeping up a 500-year lie that even if he WASN’T my father in my timeline I certainly wouldn’t have had the emotional capacity to date him… yet every day I see people basically claim if you don’t ship us you misunderstand our characters. as i said in this hc post,  furina has never visited any other nation since her creation 500 years ago.  she has also never met any of the other archons,  only ever hearing about them through word of mouth.  now that she is free from her role however,  she would absolutely love to explore and visit the other nations.

she has a high respect for other archons and would love to meet them,  there's a part of her that's also afraid to,  as she doesn't view herself very highly and surely doesn't believe she has any right to be in their presence.  should she ever though,  i imagine her to be quite humble and shy.

AU wherein Neuvillette is this majestic dragon who guards over a certain humble town. he is especially fond of this human named Furina, so he allows her to visit his abode every day.

one day, Celestia hears of Neuvillette's fondness of Furina and takes advantage of it. they trick Furina into feeding Neuvillette a certain cursed fruit. this fruit... turns Neuvillette into human.

so when Furina visits Neuvillette's abode the following day, she finds— not the dragon she is used to, but a gorgeous human she has never seen before, yet piques her interest immediately.

"Hello, dear monsieur," Furina greets, a sweet smile on her face. "Do you happen to know where the lord dragon has gone?"

Neuvillette has heard the woman speak many, many times before, but never has he been allowed to say anything back, to do anything but bask in her company— until today.

"...No," he replies. "But we can sit here together and wait for his return, if you'd like."
