Now yes they still hold some aspects of the originals, but I think they look cool.

💜So first we have Heart, I don't know what to really call any of them. (Figure it out later).

He's more or less literally the emotions, he loves too much yet so very little at times. Mostly depends on who he finds comfortable. Anxious, just stands there confused on what to do, how to approach, just anything. And overall has a kid like attitude to some things, not really feeling all that mature in some aspects. He also can easily hate whenever things happen that are...not to his liking.

His outfit could be based on something I wore before, like gowns or something. His eyes, when either under extreme emotions or literally heartbreak, can split and probably damage his vision. They're all hairy. That's cool. And purple is pretty.

💙Ah yes, the Mind, he's.... More of the critic and always questioning why or how something works, not to the extent that Heart does in a worried sense. But in a wonder, wanting to take in the knowledge of others. But he's easily irritated. Just by noises, they're all annoyed by sudden loud noises. As I am myself (they are supposed to reflect me. Sooo/lh) His outfit is basically what I wear sometimes in colder weather, jacket with whatever. No jewelry though. But he has it because it's nice. And uses big complex words for no reason but because he thinks it sounds good.

❤️Seeds, Hm? Oh Soul, they... are basically more closer to me. Funny shirt with random pun/design, baggy pants (depending) always carrying a bag of stuff. Comfort bag I guess. Little worm on a string and dinosaur, (I don't have actually, but have had before.) Soul is in his own head, always distracted but tries to stay on task, also an emotional being, having curious ideas, walks in a funny manner. He doesn't really care about how he looks, he just wants comfort. But if he doesn't care, others will. Soo social anxiety get inside the boi. (Not because of his attire, but of being told to do things normally). He says whatever on the top of their head, though he's weary to say anything. He also has a more feminine build then the rest of the two, Mind has a bit more masculine build, Heart has more of a chubby build. But Soul? He's skinny. To a degree. But he doesn't mind it.

content: a bit of angst, a bit of fluff

“The honorary member of the judgment day,” the group would call you. You were almost always with Rhea at the shows because you loved seeing everything behind the scenes. The crew didn’t mind much because you kept to yourself and didn’t mess anything up, plus they liked seeing Rhea happy.

You were chilling in the Judgment Days locker room with Dom and Rhea before the other two got there. You were talking about random things and how Dom liked the chicken tenders bit the fans had and what was going on for the night.

Rhea got a text, “Cathy needs me, love, I’ll be back soon,” the australian kissed you before she stood.

“Do you know what she needs?” you were worried.

“Just a tiktok,” she cupped your face with both hands, “It won’t take a long, promise,” she smiled. “Dom!” she pointed at him, “tell her about that one thing,” as she laughed her way out of the judgment day’s locker room.

“Oh yeah!” he laughed with her.

“Okay so,” he started, he tried his best to get it out without laughing again, “Cathy said ‘hey come make a tiktok with me later’ to Rhea and but Rey was standing right there and he said ‘me?’ and Cathy said ‘never in a million years old man’ and he was furious!” he laughed again.

You giggled with him, but you didn’t find it as funny as they did because something else was on your mind.

He finally stopped laughing and caught his breath, “so what have you been up to?” he asked.

“Oh, uh nothing much,” you really didn’t have much going on, you were always with Rhea or at work. “I do have a question though.”

“Sure, what’s up?”

“Does… this is so stupid, but does Cathy have a crush on Rhea?” you wrung your hands as you tried not to sound too jealous.

“What? No, never. They’re just good friends and play it up for the fans, Rhea would never leave you or cheat on you or anything, she loves you too much,” he had a sincere tone, he could tell you were upset.

“She’s just always asking to do something with her and- I don’t know it just… I don’t know,” you were picking at the skin around your nails.

He got up and sat next to you, “hey, don’t worry, I promise. Never in a million years would she leave you. She talks about you all the time, I’ve never seen her so happy,” he wrapped his arm around your shoulders and gave a slight squeeze.

You easily gave into it, you let out a big sigh, “okay, thank you,” as you gave him a weak smile.

“You know what,” he stood holding out his hand, “let’s go watch them, maybe she’ll ask us to be in it too.”

You grabbed his hand and he led you out of the locker room.

“Hey Mami!” he shouted as you got closer to them.

“We’re almost done, everything alright?” Rhea seemed worried.

“Yeah! We just wanted to watch you,” he played it off.

You nodded your head in agreement smiling at your girlfriend but shot a look towards the other woman.

“Well, I’m nervous now,” Cathy laughed.

“Oh please,” Rhea laughed with her.

You and Dom sat on some rolling cases that were strewn backstage as you watched them do the same lines over and over to get the right take. You smiled and laughed silently not wanting to mess it up for them. Rhea kept giving you looks of endearment every now and then, but Cathy kept pulling her attention away from you.

They finally finished, “Sorry that took so long, guys,” Cathy said, “you two made me nervous,” she pointed at you and Dom as she playfully leaned on Rhea, giggling.

“All good,” you said smiling but you were a bit upset about this whole interaction.

“C’mon baby,” a familiar tattooed hand reached out to you as her eyes caught yours, she could tell something was up.

You accepted and walked with her, following where ever she went. She led you to the hallway behind the Judgment Day’s locker room, “are you okay?”

You looked at the floor, “yeah,” you didn’t sound too convincing.

She picked your chin up, “no… I can tell something’s up, what’s wrong?”

You started to tear up but you didn’t let them fall, and the lump in your throat was definitely there, “nothing!” You realized how mean you sounded so you fixed your tone, “nothing, I’m okay.”

“You’re lying,” she was trying her best not to get angry at your tone, but her grip was tightening on your chin ever so slowly, “what’s. wrong?”

“I don’t want to talk about it right now,” you said weakly.

She loosened her grip and cupped your cheek, rubbing your face with her thumb, “that’s fine, but we are going to talk about it later. You know I don’t like seeing you upset.”

“I know and we will, just not right now,” you placed your hand on hers, “I have to work it out myself, first.”

“Okay,” she gave you a small smile, “I love you.”

“I love you too.”

She gave you a small kiss, “Damian should be back by now, want to go back in?”

You nodded your head as you followed her in.

The night came and went and you were finally heading back home. You had helped your girlfriend pack her things and put them in the truck before she drove the two of you back.

You rested your head on your hand on the middle console, dozing off so she didn’t bother you much on the ride home. Her free hand was gently placed on your thigh the whole way, sometimes gliding it up and down to make sure you knew she was there.

Once inside and after saying hello to the animals, “I think I’m ready to talk about it,” you said plopping yourself on the couch.

She followed and sat down next to you, “go ahead, baby,” she said as she propped her elbow on the back of the couch facing you.

“Okay,” you took a deep breath, “I don’t like…well, I-” you had all this time but you still couldn’t think of the right words to say.

She let you work it out and placed her hand on your knee as she watched you plan your words.

“I think Cathy likes you a little too much,” you finally say.

“I don’t think so,” she scoffed.

“I do, that’s why I was upset earlier. She’s pulls you away for forever, it seems like, and you barely have time to be around me, or the boys for that matter,” the words spilled out of you. “I feel as though that every time I’m around, she pulls you away for some post or tiktok just to get you away from me.”

“I don’t think that was her intention, love,” her voice was calm.

“And the way she touched you when she knew I was watching, ooh I almost jumped her,” your heart rate spiked as it replayed in you head.

“Woah now, I think you’re overthinking it, she’s a touchy person, she does that with everyone,” she was trying to play devils advocate but it wasn’t going too well.

“Not that I’ve seen!”

“I promise there is absolutely nothing going on between me and her,” both of her hands were now on your legs pushing into you to make her point more believable.

“Promise?” you put your hands on hers as you grimaced.

“One hundred percent,” her icy blue eyes stared into yours, “on Barry’s life.”

“Aw don’t bring him into this,” you watched as his ears perked up.

“Sorry bro,” she said to him, “But seriously I promise,” she smiled back at you.

“Okay,” you sighed with relief, “but the next time she touches you a little too friendly, I’m gonna-”

“Hey there, tough guy,” she held your hands from balling into fists, “don’t worry about her anymore and let’s take this energy out somewhere else, yeah?” she winked at you.

“Oh? What did you have in mind?” you smiled knowing her answer already.

“Why don’t you come and find out?” she stood as she used her finger to tell you to follow her to the bedroom.

Present mic x reader - happy surprises

Heyy, a cool idea would be Present Mic x reader where he’s on the radio taking calls and fan reader gets to call him. Add whatever you like of course just an idea lol, I’d love to see what else you come up with - Anon💜

Sitting on the stool, you were reading through the list of ingredients in front of you, listening to the soothing voice of your favourite radio talk show host.

You weren’t paying all too much attention to him, you were focused on getting everything ready for opening the bakery the next day, so when your phone began to ring you didn’t think twice about it.

Picking it up you stuck it on speaker, setting it back down on the counter.

“Hello, Blueberry Bakery, (Y/N) speaking, are you placing an order or picking up one?” You asked.

“Well what a formal greeting!”

“Mr Present Mic?!”

There was a loud laughter on the other end, you had to get up and mute your radio so you were able to hear him better.

“That’s right! You’re our lucky caller! So why don’t you tell us about yourself yo!”

You laughed a little awkwardly.

“Well, I uh, I work nights, I’m actually at work right now.”

“You mentioned a bakery, you got any recommendations!?”

You hummed a little, resting your chin on your hand as you looked at your phone.

“Depends on what you like, my specialty is cakes. I make them for all sorts of occasions, birthdays, weddings, that sort of stuff.”

“Amazing! Tell me more!”

You grinned even more as you excitedly began to tell him about some of the cakes you had managed to bake before.

After five minutes he announced it was time for the next caller after a few songs and you ended the call, gushing about how you were just on the phone with your all time favourite hero.

You grabbed your phone to excitedly text your friend when you noticed that the number in your recent call logs wasn’t blocked, it was an actual mobile number.

You decided to message the number, worrying it wasn’t safe for him to give out his number to random people like this.

You: hi, I was just on your radio show, I just wanted to let you know you haven’t restricted you phone number so anybody you call can see it and save it. Just in case you didn’t know how here’s how you find it!

With that, you sent the message with a photo on which part of his phones settings he needed to be on.

Setting your phone back down, you went back to your work, sleeves rolled up as you carried on with the various projects you were working on.

You worked through until early morning when you let the day shift in, and you grabbed your things, giving them all a wave as you went home to sleep.

Again, you were back the next night doing the same thing, looking through the orders that a few people were collecting after hours.

Setting them aside in time order, you put your apron on and got to work on the final touches for them, and one by one people came to collect them.

You usually had the same routine, so even after a few weeks you were doing the same thing, listening to the radio while working, though it wasn’t Present Mic on, since his show didn’t run every night of the week, it was still nice.

Hearing the buzzer go, you walked over and pressed it, letting the person in.

“On moment!” You called.

Setting the cake back into the chiller, you brushed your hands on your apron as you looked down at your list.

“Do you have the receipt you were given for your order?”

“Oh yeah! Here!”

Your head shot up at the voice, and you grinned from ear to ear.

“Mr Present Mic!”

He laughed loudly, slamming his receipt down in the counter.

“Yo! The caller from the other week!” He beamed.

You grinned sheepishly, running a hand up and down your arm as you took his receipt.

“It’s a real honour to meet you, you’re my favourite hero!”

“What?! No way?! Me?!”

You laughed, nodding your head as you lifted up the counter, letting him come through and you handed him an apron.

“I actually had a message saying they needed to confirm some final details when you arrived.”

Setting his receipt down you looked for the matching one and looked over it, grabbing the cake he had ordered and brought it out.

“They wanted you to pick some final colours and such, so if you let me know I can get it done right away.”

“Oh so many to choose from! Can I decorate it?!” He gushed.

You laughed a little, nodding as you took the cake to the work station.

“Go right ahead, we do need to remind you that if you decorate it yourself you can’t ask for a refund.”

“Not to worry!”

He happily began to work while you set a cake down next to him, getting to work on this one as well.

You looked at present mac as he decorated his own cake with a bright grin on his face, then went back to your work.

You finished the first part and left it there as you walked to the front, cleaning out the cases.

“Yo! This is so good! It didn’t even take you that long!” He gushed.

You laughed a little nervously.

“Thanks, I’ve been working here for years, my parents were bakers as well.”

“Amazing! Can you help me!?”

“Of course!”

Walking over, you washed your hands and stood next to him, listening to him as he excitedly explained what he wanted done with his cake.

You happily showed him what to do, and the whole time you were fully aware of his focused on his gaze on you.

Once you were done, you went back to your own work, and he watched your carefully, and you took the cake back, doing a quick tidy up which he helped with.

When you were done, you turned around to look at him, giving him a smile and he grinned brightly.

“Oh! I didn’t know if you got my message about thanking you!”

You furrowed your brows a little, pulling out your phone, and you looked through your messages, shaking your head.

“No, hold on let me check something.”

Present mic stood over your shoulder while you went through your phone.

“Oh yeah, never mind you went through to my unknown messages.” You laughed.

“Ouch! Didn’t even save my number!” He pouted.

He placed a hand over his heart pretending to be hurt about it and you laughed a little bit.

“It wasn’t my place to save, I just wanted to make sure you knew you were giving it out.”

“Much appreciated yo!”

He stuffed his hands into his pocket, leaning down a little with a grin on his face.

“Can I decorate another cake?!”

“Yeah, I was actually making one for myself for my birthday, go right ahead!”

You grabbed another cake and handed it over for him so he could decorate.

You were still in slight shock of him in your work, and as the night drew on to an end, he got ready to leave with his cake.

“Oh! Can I see ya phone?”

You nodded your head, handing it over to him, and he took it for a few seconds before handing it back to you, picking up his cake.

You walked him out, and he looked at you, giving you a grin.

“Let’s do this again sometimes (Y/N)!”

With that he walked away.

You locked up again.

When you got home you decided to see what he had done, and you noticed a new contact in your messages along with a missed message from it.

Hizashi: thanks for the cake!

He’d sent you a photo of him grinning with the grin with the cake in the background and you laughed loudly at how goofy he looked

I think I'm plural. Where do I go from here?

🌓There's a couple different avenues you could go down, but we have a few pieces of advice that might help:

EDIT: Our friend also mentioned that it's okay to not know everything at first! Alters might take awhile to come out and switches can be random/suppressed for a bit. Know that figuring this stuff out is literally rewiring how your brain works a little, ya know? :P

Check out plurality groups or places of information. You can either find a system/singlet more experienced with knowledge about the topic, or check out infographic websites like this one:

2. Try to find a place where you can feel comfortable AND safe just trying out being plural. This has honestly been why we've been so successful at detangling systems: We just let them try it out to see how they feel about it. Our DM's are usually open for this kind of behavior. We hold a very personal opinion that it's better to live in a world where you can try out being plural and it turns out its not you, then a world where you don't get that chance. There's no harm in just feeling the edges out to see where you land. This can be either over text, or in person, or something else!

3. Think about your past experiences with identity. For example: If you're trans, did you have a period before realizing that you attached in similar ways? Did you feel similar arguments sprouting up to try to deny it? And if not that, how about just how you've acted around people? Being plural can define a lot of past interactions you didn't think about before. The "moods" you might have, if you speak in different voices sometimes, etc etc etc.

4. Understand you're not alone. Studies show that DID has a 1~1.5% estimated percentage of the world population (though we're not sure if that includes OSDD 1B, traumagenic systems with no memory loss). Although it's described as "rare", it's actually a fairly common condition in the grand scheme of things.

A community is forming (hah!) as more and more plural people come to accept their existence. There are many more plural people out there living their best lives! And you can too!

5. Know that therapy, while it can help, also has a tendency of dealing with psychologists who are taught the only way to "cure" plurality is to have alters integrate. Many systems now are trying to co-exist together because it's becoming more understood that you kind of *can't* cure plurality? So know there's no harm in self diagnosing.

6. Read up on plural fiction, if you can! There's nothing more important or validating than to see other's experiences with plurality! Unfortunately we can't really recommend most mainstream stories, as plurality seems to be more a growing movement in fanfiction spaces. Here's some links to plural stories that made us feel good or were written by us (Yeah bitch of course every word is a different link, gotta go extra as Pandora :P )

And of course, we could say more, like understand c-ptsd (a lot of little trauma over time) can make you plural, find outside sources to reaffirm you, etc. etc. etc.
