Oof... medical bills all at once for my wrists problems
ðµðµGoing to UC (twice, only to get the referrals on the second visit ð)
ðµGoing to a specialist to examine and get xrays and more referrals
ðµðµðµGetting my arms electrocuted to check for possible carpal tunnel (all good so this test gives a baseline should anything occur later on)
ðµAnd then the cherry on top... physical therapy(which is mostly reassuring those stretches are golden, as are strengthening exercises such as rubber band stretching and grip squeezing)

I think the manipulative aspect of the cult probably hasn't been shown yet cuz we've only seen the antagonistic people part of the cult so far, though I think in a way they're also being manipulated.
Evermore was probably given some kind of deal or was offered something in return for being in the cultâwhich is possibly why he became the leader anyway, IgnacioâI'm unsure but he was defintely offered somethingâprobably was told he'd be able to burn things forever if he joined/j, and Bob was defintely given immortalityâwith his reasoning probably being that he wanted to keep eating people forever, or the cult knew he was unstable and let him out specifically so he could go on a killing spree when in reality they just wanted him to kill Skid and Pump so they wouldn't have to do the dirty work. Thin Thief and Fat Thief are most likely either in the cult because of blackmail or they were told if they joined the cult and became immortal they'd be able to do something forever. Mr Clown probably just wanted to kill kids forever. Etc etc.
I think the cult takes advantage of peoples sins or deepest darkest desires/vulnerabilities no matter who they areâthey defintely go after vulnerable people like a normal cult, but they probably are smart enough to take advantage of the insane or rotten people on earth. They're probably taking advantage of Ignacios temper or need for chaos, Carmen and Richard's mindset of being better than those who are poorer than them, etc etc.
In other words the cult probably offers them both immortality and what they wantâsimply saying they can keep doing what they want forever and ever if they join. Or the cult is taking advantage of people's desire to live forever. Unsure.
