Lydia approaches Yuusha hesitantly, holding something gently in her hand.

"So... there was an accident in alchemy class today, and..." Her words drag out, unsure how to explain the situation. It seemed so ridiculous, so unreal, like a prank someone would pull. She shakes her head, knowing that was just how Twisted Wonderland was.

"Kalim... turned Jamil... into a marketable plushie." She finishes, holding him out for Yuusha to see:

"I know this must seem crazy, but! Professor Crewel said that... true love's kiss... might break the spell." Lydia finishes awkwardly, feeling bad for putting Yuusha in this position. She knew that while they weren't a couple, there was something between them, hidden feelings that were more than platonic.

She could only hope that Jamil would forgive her for this, having offered to take him to Yuusha in Kalim's place.

The Viper Club (or, The Jamil Viper Support Group)

Hello ♡ This is a silly fic I thought of at work, featuring some of my mutual's OCs ♡ The premise is that their OCs end up in Lydia's universe (so my Yuu's Twisted Wonderland) and stay at their "partner's" dorm while there (due to Ramshackle not existing). This fic mainly features Jamil (and his many partners) with cameos from other OCs and pairings as well! ♡

Jamil wasn't sure how to describe it, unable to shake this feeling he had. All day he felt as if something was off, taking notice of strange things occurring around him.

It started in the morning, with Lydia running around campus in a panic. She would always have someone with her, with Jamil being unfamiliar with each one. There shouldn't be any new students at the moment, and while people were able to visit, it was usually reserved for special occasions. He knew the school wasn't having any events, and their wasn't any games going on.

Yet everywhere he turned, a new face popped up, catching his eye. A blonde haired girl walking to class with Ruggie, a man with long pink hair sitting next to Rook in the courtyard. Even at practice, there was someone in the stands, watching them play.

Did I miss something? He couldn't help but wonder, wiping his face with a towel. Their club activities were over for the day, the girl sitting in the stands leaving with Floyd. He was tempted to ask Ace once they were gone, noticing he didn't have anyone with him. Perhaps he would know what was going on...

"Oh, Jewel? I don't really know her, but Lyds said she'd be staying at Octavinelle for a bit." Ace replied, pulling a sweatshirt over his head. He tugs it down to cover his uniform, putting the rest of his things in a duffel bag, throwing it over his shoulder. His eyes widen after a moment, seeming to remember something.

"She was looking for you by the way! I told her we had practice, so she said she'd be waiting for you back at Scarabia." Ace says, slapping his hand on Jamil's shoulder. Jamil's eyebrow raises as Ace walks away, lifting his arm in a makeshift wave.

"Good luck~" Ace teases, a smirk on his face as he glances over his shoulder. Oh, he knew something alright... Jamil crossing his arms as he watches him go. The question was... what?

He entered Scarabia cautiously, looking around for anyone. He was dressed in casual clothes now, having changed out of his uniform back at the gym. He hears Kalim's voice down the hall, turning to find two people standing next to him. He hid behind the corner, watching them with suspicion as they talked.

"Hopefully Lyddie can get you guys home soon... I just know the other me's miss you two!" Kalim states, causing smiles to come to his companion's faces. Their eyes seem a bit sad though, probably thinking the same thing Kalim was.

"Ah, there you are!" A voice calls out, causing Jamil to turn. Lydia rushes towards him, looking worse for wear. Her hair is a mess, anxiety written on her face. Jamil takes one final look at the strangers next to Kalim before focusing on her, eyebrows raising in concern.

"Is everything alright? Ace said you were looking for me earlier..."

"Yes, yes! Everything's fine!" She responds immediately, forcing a smile on her. "Even better now that you're here, actually!" She grabs his arm, dragging him away. He glances back towards the hall as they leave, unable to shake his suspicions.

"... Do you know who those people with Kalim are?"

"Oh, that's Jeanne and Copper! They'll be staying at Scarabia for a bit." His eyebrows raise at this, wondering when this decision was made.

"I've never seen them around campus before..."

"Oh, um... they're not from here." She says hesitantly, making him even more suspicious.

"They were wearing uniforms though, so they must go here." He states, as if it were obvious. The girl with the hook was wearing an Octavinelle uniform, while the man wore a Pomefiore one. Clearly they were students of Night Raven College... right?

She stops walking, causing Jamil to almost run into her. She turns to him, speaking as if she's answered this question multiple times.

"So they do attend Night Raven, just not our Night Raven. They attend the one back in their world, and somehow... they ended up in ours."

"...What?"

She goes on to explain that on her way to work at Sam's shop, she passed by the abandoned building filled with ghosts and noticed people inside. Anxious, she walked up to the building, wondering who was there. It was way more people than she expected, all of them unaware how they got there in the first place.

After talking with them and discussing the issue with the Headmage, she was tasked with finding them a place to stay, and someone to look after each of them. In the meantime, Crowley would look for a way to send them home (like how he did with the tsums).

"I see... So I'm guessing I'll be looking after someone too?" He asks, taking it all in. It seemed hard to believe, but Lydia was from another world, and stranger things have happened.

She directed his attention to a door, leading to one of the spare rooms they had. "Actually..." She starts, opening the door. His eyes widen as he takes in all the people, sitting around a table with drinks in their hands. They look at the doorway as he stands there, Lydia gesturing towards the group.

"... You'll be looking after this group here. The Viper club, as I like to call them." She walks past him to enter the room, continuing to speak. "Or you could call them the Jamil Viper support group. They all have one thing in common."

"And that is...?" He asks, already knowing what the answer will be.

"They all have a relationship with you. Well, the you from their universe, that is..." She starts walking around the table, standing behind each person as she introduces them.

"This is Yuusha..."

"... Mayu..."

"... Rebecca..."

"... Astrid..."

"... Damali..."

"... Silas..."

"... Fayrouz..."

"... and Dranav."

She allows each person to add anything they'd like to their introductions, approaching him once everyone was finished.

"They'll be in your care from now on, so I hope you can get along." She claps her hands together, doing her best to stay positive. She knows how much responsibility Jamil already has, and adding eight people on top of that doesn't help. She hopes that since they're close with the Jamil's back in their worlds, that they will be understanding, and not give him a hard time.

"I still need to make dinner." He says as a response, feeling tired already.

"Oh! Why don't you let them help you? It'll be a great way for you to get to know each other, plus it'll help take some work off of you." She suggests, a smile coming to her face. Jamil notices how exhausted she is, spending the day running around doing Crowley's job. He couldn't help but offer...

"Why don't you join us for dinner too, Lydia? You look like you could use a break." A small smile comes to her face at his offer, pushing some hair out of her face.

"I appreciate it, but I can't. I still gotta meet with Jack at Savanaclaw, as he'll be watching Kiyuu. And I wanna get back to Octavinelle as soon as possible, cause who knows what Azul has Shuu doing..." She sighs, shaking her head. "He better not be using her for free labor in the Lounge..." She mutters to herself.

"I'll be off, then! You guys have fun!" She says, making her way towards the door. "Oh, before I forget!" She turns, walking to Jamil. She leans in close to him, her voice low so the others wouldn't hear.

"Some of them have asked about a 'Ramshackle dorm', or a 'Grim', and I don't know what they're talking about... Do you know?" She asks, watching as Jamil shakes his head. She nods her head in understanding before waving goodbye to everyone, walking out the door.

Once she was gone, Jamil focused his attention on them, looking around as he asked, "So... who here knows how to cook?" ♡

🌿 this might sound kinda weird, but the closest thing to relaxing in terms of scents has to be the smell of smoke or gas or a campfire. I love that smell so much, and it’s so familiar to me

🐝 there was this switch game called Lydia I found. I think it’s supposed to be a story game or a horror game of some sort. But I remember loving that game sm. I don’t even remember why, I just hold that real close to my heart, and I still play it sometimes when I’m upset

🌻 hanging out with family always makes me smile. So just sitting there and struggling to wrap Christmas presents together is something so nice :)

🐑 my teddy bear. I’ve had him since I was 1. I’ve never let him go since. When I think I’ve lost him sometimes, I get on the verge of tears. Another thing I don’t know why I love so much, he didn’t even come from someone I know! But I have difficulty getting through my day without him

🥞 EGGS!! Specifically scrambled. My mother makes the best scrambled eggs, she taught me how to make them, but they never turn out the way she makes em. And there sooooo goood!

🌲I def prefer the cold. Despite needing warmth all the time bc my body sucks at regulation, Im so used to being cold, it’s not so bad rlly. So I definitely prefer it. Especially when there’s snow :)

Well, I'm obviously immensely proud of my fanfics, I'm not kidding when I say I prefer them to canon sometimes. I'm planning on going on a writing spree, finish my current projects and start some new ones. There's one I'm particularly excited for, although is very ambitious. Have you ever read the Simon Snow books? Or even better, Fangirl? Well, let's just say I'm planning on writing a fictional world, which is featured in another fictional world because the protagonist of that last fictional world writes fanfiction of the first fictional world.

Notes: 

Baby Nat was so nervous for her first ID photo, she almost forgot to smile. 

Her ID badge became one of her most prized possessions and, even after she became an Attending, she kept the Intern badge in a small box in her closet.

Her Attending photo was taken shortly after she and Ethan got married. Ethan beamed with pride for a week when he saw her badge said Natalie Cusack-Ramsey. 

His heart still skips a beat anytime he hears her introduce herself as Dr. Ramsey.

Ethan’s under the cut... along with a little surprise at the bottom. 😉

Notes:

Nat likes to call his intern photo “Baby Ethan,” much to his annoyance.

When it came time to take his picture as Chief, Natalie picked out everything he was going to wear down to his socks.

“The picture’s from my shoulders up, Nat. No one’s going to care what color my socks are.”

Despite his protestations, he had to admit, he was pleased with how the badge turned out. Something he instantly regretted telling Nat as she teased him relentlessly about it for a week.

I had a hard time deciding where Ethan went after taking the Chief position. This is the conclusion I’ve come to. Please enjoy!

Ethan stays in the Chief of Medicine position for roughly 3 years. 

After Natalie gives birth to their daughter Evelyn, he decides to step down from the position in order to spend more time with her and their son Noah.

Being a stay-at-home dad was nice for a time but Ethan found he missed working and treating patients. After a lot of conversations and searching, he decided to open up a small private practice near Beacon Hill.

Building a team of his own personal choosing, his private practice became an instant success, and in getting to choose his own hours, he was able to spend more time at home with his family.

When Natalie was pregnant with their youngest daughter Lydia, she began to consider stepping back from hospital work and joining Ethan at the private practice. Ethan was thrilled by the idea and told her that a position would be waiting for her should she ever choose to go through with it.

She turned in her resignation from the hospital when she left for her maternity leave and joined Ethan’s team when Lydia was nearing a year old.

Their office became one of the most successful private practices in Boston and, together, the two were able to include a coverage plan that took care of patients with limited or no insurance, ensuring that everyone got the care they needed and deserved.

When their daughter Lydia decided to become a doctor, herself, she would often shadow her parents at their work, seeing first hand what it takes to be a good doctor. She would go on to be a successful physician in her own right.

For the holidays, Trey and Lydia bake gingerbread men together, decorating them to look like their friends (and each other ♡). With the gingerbread men they also bake sugar cookies, decorating them with different frostings and designs. The cookies will be given as gifts, boxing and wrapping them to suit each person. Once Christmas gets closer, they begin passing them out, surprising their friends with a visit ♡

Inside the box was a gingerbread version of herself, Jamil, and Kalim, along with a sugar cookie Grim. Other sugar cookies in the box include: a snake (that resembles Jamil), a basketball, a can of tuna, a plate of shawarma, and Ramshackle Dorm.

For Poppy (@justm3di0cr3), her cookies are wrapped in a brown box, with red and white checkered fabric decorating each side (to make it resemble a picnic basket). Inside the box was a gingerbead version of herself and Epel, along with a sugar cookie Isabelle (@midnightmah07's OC). Other sugar cookies in the box include: a apple, a picnic basket, a apple tree, a stuffed animal, and a rose.

Each box comes with a Christmas card and some hot chocolate, along with a picture Cater took while Trey and Lydia were unaware. The picture was of the two of them in the kitchen, powdered sugar covering their faces and clothes. They were mid-laugh, their faces inches apart. In the background was a counter holding various ingredients and cookie cutters, a mixing bowl filled with cookie dough off to the side. Happy Holidays! was written in the corner of the picture, Trey and Lydia signing their names on the back of it.

While most of the cookies were gifted to friends, they made more than enough for everyone, offering the extras to anyone who wanted some.

Of the gingerbread men, there was Ace, Deuce (with a cauldron sugar cookie), Cater (with a phone sugar cookie), Trey (who Lydia gave a toothbrush sugar cookie to as a joke), Riddle (with a hedgehog sugar cookie), Leona, Ruggie (with a thaumark sugar cookie), Jack, Azul (with a contract sugar cookie), Floyd, Jade (with a mushroom sugar cookie), Kalim (with a magic carpet sugar cookie), Jamil, Vil, Rook (with a bow and arrow sugar cookie), Epel (with a apple sugar cookie), Idia (with a sugar cookie of his tablet), Ortho, Malleus, Lilia (with a bat sugar cookie), Silver (with a sword sugar cookie), and Sebek (with a lightning bolt sugar cookie).

There were even gingerbread men of those that didn't attend Night Raven, such a Che'nya, Neige, Najma, Rollo, and Ernesto (with a sugar cookie Gino).

"So, how's everything going?" Lydia asks, following Kalim into Scarabia. It's been a few days since everyone appeared, Crowley still looking for a way to send them home. Kalim leads her to where Jeanne and Copper are, sitting in the main room of the dorm. He laughs before he responds, a smile lighting up his face.

"Everything's going great! Jeanne and Copper are so much fun. It's interesting to hear about how things are like in their world! Though, I would have liked to throw a welcome party for them..."

Lydia smiles at this, waving to Jeanne and Copper. "That's great to hear, Kalim. Have they been joining you around campus?" Kalim nods his head, moving to sit between them.

"Yep! They come to class with me, and to my club meetings. They're even gonna attend our concert next week!" He tells her with a smile, looking between the two. Lydia frowns for a moment, the thought that they may not be here next week crossing her mind. She wasn't going to ruin the mood though, nodding her head as she tried not to think about it.

"Where's Jamil?" She asks, changing the subject as she looks around the room. "Oh, he's in the kitchen! The others are there with him." He informs her, pointing down the hall. She thanks him, nodding to Jeanne and Copper before leaving.

She heads down the hall, entering the kitchen to find Jamil in front of the stove. Some of them are helping him cook while the others watch, sitting at the table. He glances towards the doorway when he notices someone enter, his features going soft as he realized who it was.

"Hey, Jamil! I just wanted to check in and see how you were." She starts, her voice causing him to turn. While he looked tired, he seemed to be holding up alright, and everyone was accounted for.

"Yuusha... made shirts." He states, sounding tired yet... the tiniest bit fond. At least he seems to like them, she thinks, finally taking notice of the clothes they were wearing.

Each person wore a shirt that said "Jamil Support Group", with flames coming up in the background. "Oh... how creative!" She says, unsure what the proper response was. She does a double take when she notices the stuffed animal around Mayu, almost looking like a realistic snake, with a red and black pattern. Jamil noticed where her attention was and sighed, moving to the sink.

"Apparently, it's supposed to be me... they worked together to make it."

"Him!" Mayu corrected, causing Jamil to shake his head. "It's noodle Jamil." She says, introducing him to Lydia. A small smile comes to her face as she pats the stuffed snake's head, thinking to herself how cute it was.

"Has everyone been getting along alright?" She asks him, Jamil leaning closer to make his response more private. He keeps his voice low, glancing whenever he mentions someone.

"Silas doesn't seem happy, but everyone else is getting along. They've been telling each other stories about their Jamil's, and follow me around campus when I'm out."

"Most of us refer to Jamil as 'babygirl', just like I thought." Astrid chimes in, redirecting Jamil's attention.

"Don't call me that." He states, crossing his arms. With his back turned, he was unaware of Kalim coming to the doorway, having heard some of their conversation.

"If you don't like babygirl, how about habibi?" Kalim adds, Jamil's head snapping towards him.

"Don't give them ideas!"

"Oh, can I have a shirt too?" Kalim asks Yuusha, becoming distracted. Jamil shakes his head, muttering "Are you even listening to me?" before dropping the subject. He focuses back on Lydia as Kalim and Yuusha talk in the background, Rebecca and Fayrouz plating the finished food.

"So, you're checking in with everyone?"

"Yep!" She says, nodding her head. "I already checked in with Ryoko and Kiyuu, who's with Jack. I also checked in with Daisy while I was there, since Ruggie was nearby. And Malleus is taking his group to look at gargoyles, since he's curious to know if the ones we have are different from the one's in their worlds."

"Is that why Sebek's been running around campus?"

She laughs awkwardly as she nods. "Malleus didn't tell him where they were going, and he doesn't trust them yet. So he's worried about Malleus being alone with them."

Jamil's eyebrows raise at this, having seen them around campus. While he didn't know their names, they seemed harmless, and didn't mean any trouble. Lydia laughs at his reaction, having thought the same thing.

"If you've met Chris, Leota, Sophie, or Ellis, you'd know how much they care about Malleus. I mean, you could probably see it too, just by how they act around him. But, you know how Sebek is..."

Jamil nods, Lydia checking her phone for the time. "Oh, I better get going! I still have a few people I need to see." She says, walking over to the doorway. She waves goodbye to everyone, Jamil watching her go.

"Should I make a shirt for her too?" Yuusha teases, Jamil giving her a look as she smiles to herself. After a moment he shakes his head, making his way to the table. He better eat, before the food gets cold...

Lydia heads to Ignihyde next, asking Ortho how Perse and Yuya were. She felt bad for not meeting with them directly, but she didn't want to risk seeing Idia, and kept her distance from the group. Ortho informed her that they both seem to be doing well, and that they spend most of their time with him or Idia's tablet, since Idia hasn't left his room.

"The Board Game Club should have a meeting tonight, so he'll leave his room then. Have Perse and Yuya join him." Lydia tells him, with Ortho agreeing to do so.

She moved on to Pomefiore, making sure Flurin was good with Vil before looking for Rook. He wasn't at the dorm, and when she looked around campus, she found Hopper and Lysander. Just not him...

"Hmmm..." She hummed to herself, wondering where he could be. He was supposed to be watching them, after all. Wait...

"You know Rook, when I told you to look after them, I didn't mean like this!" She shouts, looking up at the trees. Rook is hidden between some branches, high enough to where you wouldn't see him at first glance. She waits a moment for him to come down, shaking her head at his explanation. She understands he's a hunter, and while she appreciates him trying to make things more exciting, she needs him to stay with them. They couldn't afford to lose someone else...

"... Actually, Rook, go back up in the trees. Maybe you can find Yuu Shi for me..."

After standing under the trees for a bit (and Yuu Shi still nowhere to be found...), Lydia moves on to Octavinelle, passing by Ace along the way.

"... Ace, where's Ashi?" She questions, noticing he was by himself.

"Oh, I think she's back with Deuce. Wh-"

"Ace, stay with Ashi... please! We've already lost Yuu Shi, we can't afford to lose someone else!" She exclaims, anxiety on her face as she grabs his jacket, shaking him as she speaks to emphasize her point.

"Woah, woah! Calm down, Lyds." He says, grabbing her wrists to make her stop. He looks down at her as he moves her hands away, doing his best to ease her worries.

"She probably went off on her own somewhere, and I doubt she's in any danger."

"Still..."

"Alright, alright. I'm going..." He puts his hands up, turning around. "I'll be back later to visit, alright?"

"Ok, sounds good!" She says, a smile coming to her face. She waves him goodbye before continuing on her way, making it to Octavinelle. She just had to check in with Shuu and Jewel, and then she could go have lunch with Cecil and Yuuki. At least, that was her plan, entering the Lounge to find Floyd had left his shift early, taking Jewel with him.

Azul spots her quickly, making his way over as Shuu followed. She's thankful he at least listened, and hasn't been using Shuu for free labor. (At least, that she knows of...)

"Lydia, do you mind?-" She interrupts him before he could finish, already knowing what he was gonna ask.

"Let me get my apron..." ♡
