Was talking to my twin @wafflesrisa about Charlos during Imola FP1 earlier and I decided to rank the most insane Charlos moments in order - ranked purely on moments that show just how much they're friends, not just teammates

This is just my own preference and it'll be different for everyone, but here a (non-exhaustive) list:

1. Bahrain 2024 crochet chili

"I want to gift this to you. From my fan to me, to you. So you will remember me for the rest of your life." "A chili!!" "For our post Teammate Era." "Ay we are only starting the season!" Carlos: "You will forget [the chili] there." Charles, softly: "No I won't." Also feat. nearly crying in the car afterwards

2. Miami 2024 Water flick

Carlos doesn't even look at the glass in the couple seconds before he flicks the water at Charles. He's looking at Charles and smiling. Charles gets a little overwhelmed with the affection and gets shy (bonus Ferrari team member being us looking at them)

3. Canada cotton ball lean

The cutest moment in this isn't Carlos telling Charles to admit that Carlos won. It's them both Zendaya laughing at each other when Charles gets caught cheating and Charles having this moment looking at the back of Carlos' head where he gets so overwhelmed with affection he collapses his whole weight into Carlos' side. Their caps bonk. It is cute.

Dear journal. Mom and Dad said they had a surprise for me and Jazz when we get home from school. Please God don't let it be another ghost gun or something. My hair is still singed from the last one.

Update. It was, in fact, a gun. Jazz now has a mild burn on her arm and is screaming how they need therapy. Not disagreeing but I don't think it's going to happen.

Dear journal. Happy birthday. A year ago Jazz gave you to me for my birthday. How my parents haven't accidentally destroyed you I don't know.

Me Tucker, Sam, and Jazz went out to eat for my birthday. Sam even had her family driver take us a town over to try that new restaurant. Well, that's what their excuse was.  I think they were trying to get me out of the house for a little bit since Mom and Dad are going on a rampage through the house disassembling all the appliances. It's 10 pm and I can still hear noise coming from the basement.

Sam’s birthday party was a glorious disaster this year. Her mom decided to do a princess-themed party. We have been preparing for this day since Sam found one of her mom’s work journals. We managed to sneak paint and glitter bombs into the venue before anyone got there. We even managed to get one on each of the chandeliers. It was awesome. Everyone got covered in black paint and red glitter. 

What we didn’t account for was Grandma Ida hiring professional snake handlers to bring in a bunch of snakes for Sam. The snakes were non-venomous and luckily were all caught after one of the rich people bumped into the table that the snake cage was on. And the paint was non-toxic so it was easy to clean off the snakes too without them getting sick. Still kinda feel bad that the snakes got caught in the crossfire though.

I don't know how but we're in Gotham. Apparently, there's some stupid ghost conversation going on so we're going to be stuck here for the next week. On the pulse side though I found a really cool cafe not too far from the hotel. And they don’t seem to care if you just hang out as long as their not busy and you buy something. Me and Jazz will probably be spending a lot of time here or at their library. It’s huge and has an entire section of space!

Turns out I'm allergic to something called Blood Blossoms. Mom and Dad ended up having some guy try to cleanse me of “the evil spook” after I accidentally brushed up against the flowers he had on his table. Jazz had to convince them to get me to the hospital. Luckily one of the guys walking around had an epi pen. So that helped. Still sucks and now I'm stuck at the hotel while Jazz frets like a mother hen. I don't think she's even realized that she has a rash on her hand from when she threw the flowers away from me.

So… Batman is real… wtf? He apparently has some questions for Mom and Dad but they haven't come back yet. He apologized to me and Jazz for waking us up and gave us suckers? Which. Weird. And Jazz threw them away when he left because “stranger danger is still a thing even if they are a hero”. RIP little Root Beer flavored DumDum. You will be missed.

And on the other hand, Robin was pretty cool. He's snarky and brave and hilarious and he is just so cool. 10/10 New favorite Robin. He even gave me a book recommendation for the report I'm supposed to turn in at the start of freshman year.

I made a new friend! Do you remember that cafe I talked about a few days ago? Well, I met a guy there. His name is Jason. He’s an absolute lit nerd but is way cool. The guy’s got muscles underneath his school uniform too. The guy looks like he could snap me like a twig yet isn’t at all like Dash. Hopefully, we can keep in contact after we head back to Amity. For now, we are planning on meeting up at the cafe tomorrow with our favorite books. I found “Star Stories”at the library so I’m bringing it with me. I don’t know if he likes stars but I hope he likes some of the stories about them.

Finally back at home. Dad had smuggled fireworks into the GAV (how they didn’t explode when KC threw it in Gotham idk) so we spent the 4th of July shooting them off at the lake. We ended up going to Lake Erie for the camping trip because Mom heard something at the convention about a ghost hanging out around there. Didn’t see any ghosts but the fishing was good. I even caught a bass the size of my head! All around it was really fun! Oh and the stars were so clear! The Summer Triangle was so clear you could point out Vega, Deneb, and Altair! It was so cool! Did you know that Vega is in the Lyra constellation? Or Deneb is in the Cygnus Constellation. And Altair is a part of the Aquila constellation!

Maybe I should ask if Mom and Dad could get me another journal for charting the stars. I’ll need the practice if I want to become an astronaut.

It’s a good thing that I got two of everything when me, Sam, and Tucker went shopping for school supplies. I got a lot of new space-themed stuff but the moment I got home Dad insisted on ghost-proofing my new backpack… It melted. I don’t even know how he managed to melt a canvas bag. It didn’t even catch fire first. Just started melting the moment Dad started spraying his new “Fenten Ecto-Rejecto Spray” on it. Wtf Dad.

On the plus side, Sam found a new coffin backpack and Tucker was able to get a new bag that had a pouch that he can put the walkman he got yesterday for his birthday. He is so hyped about it.

Mom and Dad have started making more noise in the lab than normal. It’s gotten to the point that Jazz has been spending more time at the library to study. Speaking of Jazz, she has been obsessing over self-help and psychology books lately. I mean. Jazz has always talked up therapy but now she’s kinda getting snooty about it. Sam suggested we start hanging out at that gazebo thingy at the park so we can get our work done on the nicer days. We’ll have to hang at Tucker's place though on the rainy days. Sam’s parents have decided that it’s time to put their foot down and get Sam to “socialize with your actual peers Sammy-kins so that you can make better connections and start networking” or whatever. So basically Sam’s mom doesn’t want her to be associated with us plebs I guess.

Mom and Dad repurposed the fridge so they could put samples in it. Apparently, the one in the lab broke. The green stuff in the tubes kinda creeps me out. Jazz is yelling at them about it. I kinda agree. Cross-contamination anyone? Think I’m gonna eat out at Nasty more often.

There are new wires in the house now and they glow? Mom said that they had some sort of breakthrough and are using the samples that they have to coat some of the tech in the house to “ecto-proof” it. Apparently, the ectoplasm doesn’t like electronics so they weren’t really able to mix it with tech too well. Some of Mom’s blueprints look like Star Wars blasters. Dad’s are less impressive.

The signs worked but I saw Mom and Dad taking off in the GAV around midnight. Whatever. Me and Tucker did manage to reach a new level in DOOM last night so that was cool. And it’s World Vegan Day today so Sam is going to take us out to eat at a vegan place for dinner. I have no clue what Tucker’s going to eat. Well probably get it to-go so he can get something.

I found out where Mom and Dad went last night. The cops showed up and gave Mom and Dad a ticket for destroying a part of the park's water fixture. Someone had organised a haunted forest thing in the park and my parents went absolute ape.

On the 5th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me! Nothing because my family is insane. Mom and Dad are already starting their yearly Santa argument. Sam and Tuck are both out of town to visit family for the holidays, Jazz is avoiding the house because it’s “disruptive to my mental development” and I’m grounded for yelling at Dad when he burst into my room and accidentally made my little Rover fall off the shelf and brake.

I made a mistake when I brought Mom and Dad their dinner today. In my defense, I was just tired of them yelling about Santa. So I asked why they had hazmat suits but me and Jazz didn’t if ecto was so dangerous. Because if it’s that dangerous then the fact we have ecto in the fridge means that we should all have suits. Jazz is furious with me cause now our parents are making us try on our new suits tomorrow. I am terrified of whatever monstrosity they create no matter how “fashionable” Dad claims they will be.

Gods, I hate this. I’ve been sick for the past week and Jazz says we’re almost out of soup. I keep going back and forth between being hungry and puking up whatever Jazz feeds me. Mom says that she has some tea that may help but when Dad brought it up it tasted funny. It did make me feel a little better but it just had a really weird taste. Dad said it’s just because I’m sick so everything tastes funny right now.

Happy Birthday to me. I am now 14 years old. Mom and Dad forgot it was my birthday again. They ran into the kitchen this morning because they completed their portal. They even dragged me and Jazz down into the lab to see them turn it on before we went to school. It didn’t work and now Mom and Dad are going to take a drive around town to clear their heads. They probably won’t be back until dinner time. Sam and Tucker are coming over after school though so at least it will be quiet while they are over. 🇵🇷Me: A surprise throwout! Who would’ve guess it than anything else? I mean it was as they planned out; with Maxwell and his painter friends managed to do a second masterpiece for the purple cat himself. “Smile-o-Ween” was their creative name to come up with and it shows as the pumpkin carving of 🐱🌙CatNap displays here. It really surprised CatNap in a good way. Sure wish I could’ve add more, but 🐶☀️DogDay and rest of the Smiling Critters gang was here; as well as Maxwell’s other buddies that the party just getting started.

AITA for being upset at my mom?

I know it's not a real big deal, but it's starting to get upsetting. English is not my first language and im on mobile sl sorry about that.

Okay, so my(20f) mother (F mid40s) suffer from long covid. Her symptoms consist of chronic fatigue, short breath, join pain and brain fog. (I still live home because im a college student, and finding an appartment in this market is hell)

We've been really supportive of her :

I drive most of the time, and my sister(16f) has her apprentice driver license, so she drives for mom when im at school; when we go to the mall and she need to take a break to breath, i always offer to go get her a wheelchair, or going to get the car, she sleeps a lot in the day so we don't make noise, i bought her loops earplug for sleeping, etc.

We're are used to it and my dad (mid40s too) work 12 hours a day to compensate for the money we're losing with mom on sickleave (where we live we have job insurance and etc): he starts at 5:30am to 6pm, and i usually only see him in the evening, so the only time we really are together as a family is during the evening meal.

There is where i could be the a-hole:

Since mom got long covid, it takes more time for her to respons us, and her memory isnt as good as it was (shes well known in her workplace, she a well respected manager who takes great care of her employees). It's just, almost every night, when me or my sister or even my dad are telling a something that happened in our day, she always cut us to say something, like :don't forget to put this in that, or just to say something she did that day over our own story, or asking me to bring her water in the middle of my sister's sentences (which she could have waited for after she was done).

So we, someone different each time, always tell her "X was speaking, you just cut them, and you do this often, please let them finish" and, well, when it happens everytime i am (or my sister) is trying to say something, it get upsetting. And she always uses the same reasons: "we're a family and we're cohabiting, sometime we talk over you but still listen to you" (no she doesn’t, i have to tell her a million times the same fucking thing and she always forget) or "you know my mind is a little slow right now, i'll forget if i don't say it" or she gets upset because we're annoyed by it.

But god forbid if you cut her! She'll raise her tone, and still doesn't get why we're upset.

Like, i get it, she got long covid and it's a bitch to deal with the way your cognitive capabilities slow down with the fatigue, but we've been extremely helpful (and im still gonna be, because she's my mother) and her allowing herself to lack respect towards us doesn't excuse her because she's ill. At least this is how i see it?

At this point i dont really know if i can feel upset? Like, she's my mom, and she's ill (and it's really depressing seeing her this put down by the symptoms i don't wish it to anyone) but im just so tired to have to restart the same sentence four or five time because she keep interrupting me

Chapter 12: Live My Life

Yin sprinted through the quiet and mostly dark town, his magenta coat flying behind him. He needed to get to the dock. He needed to see Willy. He needed to stop him from leaving.

"Willy!" He called out, trying to find him.

"Where are you?!"

He stopped momentarily to catch his breath. But that's when he heard faint voices. He recognized those voices. It was Slugworth, Fickleberger, and Prodnose. They were talking to a fourth voice. Yin recognized it as the Chief of Police. He was getting closer.

Yin started running again. He saw the dock; it was in his lime of sight now.

But as he neared, he saw the four men staying there, watching the boat leave. But what he saw next is what broke him.

The ship that Willy was supposedly on exploded.

Yin covered his face with his arms, despite being far away. He slowly lowered them as he took in what just happened. He can faintly hear the four despicable men talking about the deal being done, and they concluded their business, going their separate ways.

But that's not what Yin was focused on.

"No." He whimpered, feeling his heart clench in anguish and tears well up in his eyes for the second time today.

He was too late.

(A/N: The music is "My Once Upon a Time" (the full audio verison) from Descendants 3 but with lyrics I came up with (some are from the song but 90% is my own). I recommend looking up the song and listening to it while you read the lyrics since I can't upload the full audio on here. It'll be worth it and make it fun! I hope you like it!)

It started to snow a little as Yin turned around to walk back into town, still holding the jacket in his trembling hands. Once he was away from the dock, he paused and turned around.

🎵Why did he leave?

Did he feel unworthy?🎵

He held the jacket up by the collar, looking at it as it reminded him of Willy.

🎵Like there wasn't solid ground for him to stand🎵

His grip on the jacket tightened.

🎵But a sacrifice is not a firm foundation

You can not build your dreams on a mountain made of sand🎵

Yin's eyes widened a bit. He knew why Willy left now and why the Chocolate Cartel, along with the Chief of Police was there as he left town on that boat.

🎵He left because he lost his dreams

Yes, that is what it seems

He wanted to bring joy and fun

He didn't stop until it was done🎵

Yin started to walk back into town.

🎵He lived his life, he had no shame

He lived his life, he didn't want fame

Yin stopped the foundation in the middle of town. The place where he realized he was in love with Willy Wonka. Where they almost shared their first kiss.

🎵I had joy and my friends, but I lived with a frown

But then he came, and my heart soared above

He has flipped my entire life upside down

Yin knew what he was going to do now. He put the overcoat back on.

Yin jumped onto the edge of the fountain, smiling, feeling determination now instead of sadness.

Yin spread his arms out as he felt himself soar higher than the heavens. He felt determination course through his body as he brought his arms back down to his sides forcefully, breathing in and out.

He smiled as tears welled up in his eyes again, but he didn't shed any of them. He let out a determined hum while nodding. "Now, what shall I do?" He asked himself, looking around.

"I know where you can start."

Yin gasped and turned around at the sound of the voice. He looked around to see if anyone was there. Then, out of the shadows, a familiar figure stepped out. Yin gasped, and he swore he felt his heart beat faster.

It was Willy Wonka.

The inventor smiled at the surprised boy. "Hello, little marshmallow."

"Willy!" Yin jumped off the fountain and ran towards him. He immediately wrapped his arms around him tightly. "Willy, my love! You're here." He cupped his cheeks and started to pepper kisses all over Willy's face. The magician laughed as Yin did so.

"Yes, I am here. I'm here." Willy wrapped his arms around Yin.

Yin stopped and looked at the beautiful boy in front of him. He wasn't injured, but his skin was cold, and his hair and clothes were slightly damp. Snowflakes caught in his long eyelashes. "How did you survive? Did you jump into the water?" He asked.

"You are correct. I did, right before the boat exploded."

Yin sighed and pressed his forehead against Willy's. "Why did you leave us? Why did you leave me?" He whispered, sniffling a bit.

Willy moved his hands to Yin's face, cupping his cheeks. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I thought I was doing the right thing. To help you." He whispered.

"The right thing? By leaving?"

"The Chocolate Cartel promised me you all would have better lives. They paid off my debt to Mrs. Scrubbit, and promised to pay everyone else out too. Noodle had more than the rest, so she could have a better life, too."

Yin was surprised by this. But there was more.

"But what really made me do it was when they offered to give you money. More than anyone else, even Noodle. So you can have your life back and find meaning. The only deal was to leave town and never sell chocolate again. So, I did it."

Yin frowned, feeling sadness well up inside him again. 'He really thought he was helping us.' He thought to himself. "Oh, Willy." He sighed, caressing the boy's cheeks with his thumbs.

"I don't need money to be happy. I don't want my old life back. I'm happy with what I have."

Willy looked at Yin.

"Was it true? What you said earlier? You really wanted to continue my legacy?"

Yin blushed. "You heard me, didn't you?"

Willy nodded, chuckling a bit at Yin's sudden shyness. "Yeah. That really meant a lot to me." He smiled softly. You... made my heart soar when you said that." He quoted Yin.

Yin chuckled shyly, sniffling a bit. Willy nuzzled his nose against Yin's. As the snow fell gently onto them, the two closed the distance and kissed each other. Their kiss was soft and passionate. It made them feel content and safe. It made buterflies flutter in their stomachs, making them giggle against each other's lips. Eventually, they pulled away for air with a soft pop. The couple smiled at each other.

But they knew this moment couldn't last. They had a mission to accomplish.

"Come on. I have some things to tell you. We won't be safe until everyone involved is in jail." Willy said, reluctant to pull away.

Yin was as equally reluctant, but he knew Willy was right. "Yeah. Let's save our friends."

The two pulled away and started walking to the wash house, hand in hand.

Ursa: My twins can't have separate parties on their Sweet 16! So while you two were at Azula's Kuai ball game, I came up with a Mom-promise! Take a look!

Ozai, working on the mic: Firelily it's time to come clean. We kept the secret for too long.

Ursa: No Ozai. *mic comes to life* I'm telling them they were born on separate days.

Zuko, Azula, and Kiyi: !!!

Ursa: Uh... *grabs mic* 🎵Secret tunnel! Secret tunnel! Through the mountain!🎵 This karaoke thing works great! Who's next?

Zuko: What did you just say?!

Azula: We have different birthdays?!

Ozai: Kids, your mother and I have something to tell you.

Ursa: *gives him a dirty look* Zuko and Azula, the day you were born was truly the greatest day of my life.

Kiyi: Well that feels nice!

Ursa: But it was actually the days you were born. Zuko, you were born on the 5th at 11:56 pm. But Azula you were born at 12:02 on the 6th.

Azula, gesturing to her Kuai ball uniform: But the whole reason 5 is my lucky number is because I was born on the 5th. I'm a 5.

Kiyi: Apparently, I'm a zero.

Zuko: Wait, so Azula never celebrated on her actual birthday?

Kiyi: What kind of parents are you?! This is preposterous! I say again preposterous!!!

Ozai: I regret buying you that thesaurus.

Kiyi: If they could do this to her, what does that mean for everyone else? Am I six? Am I twelve? I could be nine.

Ozai: You're eleven.

Azula: Are you sure about that considering you both lied to me my whole life! *storms away*

Ursa, coming into the twin's room: Hey.

Ursa: We wanted the moment to last forever. Plus a joined birthday party is double the fun! It's also half the work. See, I'm being completely honest with you from now on.

Azula, trying not to laugh: Don't try to be funny. I'm still mad at you.

Ursa: Honey, I am so sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing. When you and Zuko were little you were inseparable. As your mother, it felt wrong to take that special day away.

Azula: Are you seriously trying to take credit for being a good mother right now?

Ursa: Yes I tried to slip that in.

Ursa: Just tell us what you want for your birthday and your father and I will make it happen. The sky's the limit. Well, there is a budget-
