So we’d get chef Obi-Wan, fashion designer Obi-Wan, mafia boss Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan and his clone (looking at you The Island for the DP porn lol), and more…

And you know, they either already are or end up falling for each other and fucking in every verse cause they’re star crossed lovers or sth.

Then, the last one he’s thrown into is the Kenobi show—his own verse after he fucked it all up—and Obi-Wan is looking at him like he’s seen a ghost in all his damaged, infinitely sad glory and Anakin fucking aches. They end up fucking, don’t even need to fall in love cause they already are, duh.

And then, the holocron is finally used up and he goes back to being in his early 20s in the middle of the clone wars, a changed man, wondering how to get with his Obi-Wan. Of course, when he manages, he never falls to the dark side.

The galaxy is saved, the readers get what they craved, everybody cries, only Palps dies, poor Pads finds comfort in lesbian sex, now that Anakin is her ex. 🎤 🎵

how he answered the question what he learned about style is to subtract. which may mean less is more or something like that. it matches what wyb said he learned about a different thing — acting. so i see this as a similarity between them, they don’t do overdo things.

ok so first off you can watch Monkey King (2009) here where it’s been subtitled in English by the loveliest of fans (bc the show is only out in Mandarin). they have been in a hiatus for a couple years bc there was some issues on finding a beta-reader to help with the translations (HOWEVER IT LOOKS LIKE THEY UPDATED A LOT MORE EPISODES SINCE THEN SO CATCH ME WATCHING MORE OF THIS LATER LMAO)

anyway: Peachbuds 😍

so it’s the ship name between Shihou/Sun Wukong and Liu’Er who are the best of friends during Wukong’s origins. you will also notice that a lot of Macky’s designs in lmk fanart with his ears as well as the drawings of him with white fur, do take inspiration from this show. either bc people watched the show growing up or found it through their lmk pipeline

so Liu’Er was a macaque already in this monkey/simian troop of Flower Fruit Mountain. is also on the younger side of the troop (think adolescence) and is close with the then Monkey King. so that is him home. he was part of them long before Wukong/Shihou joined them.

he also likes to prove himself as being someone next in line for the Monkey King throne. something the Grandpa Monkey King encouraged but the monkey generals always denied. they tend to look down on Liu’Er because of his youth and feel that it should be one of them who takes over after the Monkey King (tho they squabble amongst each other too much)

that’s how he even met Shihou because he wanted to prove himself and show that the magic rock he found was real. he is also one of the only monkeys who doesn’t find Shihou off putting or creepy (sometimes annoyed since Shihou never learned any etiquette). the only other monkey who finds potential in Shihou is the old Monkey King

Shihou (which means stone monkey) really does want to fit in with the troop and finds himself in a very similar position Liu’Er was in with the generals. only, instead of them just not taking Liu’Er seriously, they find Shihou to be a bad omen or a spy (bc he hatched the same day the Monstrous King of Havoc decided to crash their party)

so now it’s Shihou trying to prove himself bc he wants to make friends and Liu’Er and the old Mobkey King are so kind and the jungle is not friendly to those on their own. however, unlike Liu’Er constantly trying to prove himself and going unheard, Shihou does get heard and people’s respect for him rises

which leads us to Liu’Er’s jealousy. all Liu’Er has wanted was to be respected and one of the ways he knew the generals would finally respect him was if he took the throne. he even has a vision (or heard??? idk magic ears you know the drill) of himself obtaining. but then literally the next day, the vision switches to him watching Wukong rush past him to the throne (the, uh, Monkey King got sick and Wukong found the cure before Liu’Er. it’s a whole thing where Shihou won’t say where the cure is bc he promised but Liu’Er thinks Shihou wants to take his glory)

anyway, uh the jealousy eventually leads to Liu’Er throwing away their friendship the second the Monkey King announces Shihou as his successor. he argues against it and tries to place doubts for him even being qualified (i am NOT over it) and woopsie-daisy! he got got in a evil plot and is slowly getting possessed yayyyyyyyyyyy 🫠

🎤 hello madam clam I would like you to elaborate on the connection of Main Character Will Wood to Kon El Conner Kent Superboy?

I saw an edit with it once and I don’t think the latter half of the song fits but this set of lines in particular sort of gives off the vibe of someone who’s been given a certain expectation about what it means to be a hero. Early kon especially seems to think that by nature of being Superman he must be deserving of glory and that it’s his purpose. The shallowness of the trite tropes traits etc line is obviously a lil more sinister in the context of the whole song, but in this isolated kontext (heh) it sort of feels like it can be about someone who almost views superheroism as a game or akin to celebrity life rather than something serious. This makes me think of the Rots comics where he flaunts his fame and has to learn what true heroism really means.

The next line is obviously a reference to the classic Superman line “it’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s Superman!” but the use of superego makes me think of the part in yj where he insists of the Freudian aspects he is Superego (because he is superboy), so it’s even more fitting hehe. And the next lines also just feed into the early kon vibes

Adora’s got a strong athletic style that leans towards gender neutral. However, its fun for her to explore her softer feminine side with formal wear.��🎀⚔️

Catra has this Punk Rock meets Femme Fatale vibe that’s super attractive 🎸🗡️ and yet she’d never be caught dead in a dress ☠️. A plaid skirt with ripped leggings underneath is the closest she’s likely to get. 😼

While Scorpia is a gorgeous wall of muscle she has a strong feminine style 👠💋. Additionally, in the modern AUs, she is often times depicted with prosthetic limbs 🦾🦂

Mermista and Perfuma have a pretty self explanatory aesthetic. However, Mermista’s character is meant to explore a non-western culture, while Perfuma herself can be read as a trans feminine woman. 🔱🥻💐💚

I’d love to explore Frosta. She also has a non-western cultural background with an elemental aesthetic but her style isn’t fully fleshed out either. One could lean in multiple directions. I’d like to play around with her hair. Maybe longer hair with an undercut and multicolored streaks in electric blue, white, and silver. 🌨️❄️⛄️

Then there’s Sea Hawk who while very masculine in appearance is also very bisexual and body positive with his flamboyant over the top sailor aesthetic. 🔥🏴‍☠️⚓️

I could see older characters like Angella, Light Hope, Spinnerella, Netossa, and even Hordak acting as the judges. 🪽⚛️ 🌪️🌐💃

I’d probably add Entrapta as a stylist since she has no interest in competition. The spacesuits she took the time to design, along with Hordak’s armor, demonstrates how admirable her skills for fashion and design are. 👩‍💻 🪡🧵

Shadow Weaver could be a scorned and bitter pageant Queen trying to relive her glory days through one of kids (probably Adora). 🤡😒

Casta and Micah could be the co-host. I could see Micha dressing in drag for a few appearances too. 🧔‍♀️🔮🎤

Who is the Preacher Master?

The Master spent quite a lot of time flittering between reality and the vortex while the Doctor was off on jollies.

🎤 Breaking Up the Band

After the band broke up, the Master eventually reunited with various versions of himself, including the War Master and Missy to confront the Ravenous (apparently, musical differences were put aside). After assisting his future selves and ensuring the preservation of their timeline, his mind was wiped, and his own future selves threw him back into the Time Vortex. Ugh.

🌌 Trapped in the Vortex ... Again

During this time, he began to make psychic contact with a human named Lila Kreeg, whom he manipulated to free him. With her help and some casual murder, he escaped, taking the identity of a high-flying businessman named Magnus Drake and transforming the company into an influential force on Earth.

Unfortunately, the Daleks then invaded, and as a result of this, he was betrayed by Lila and shoved back into the vortex again, where he broke down into pure essence.

🔥 He's in the Vortex Again

After yet another stint trapped in the Vortex, the Master's essence was eventually reconstituted by the ship Kairos. Here, he began feeding on the life force of the crew, once again manipulating those around him to regain his full power. Eventually, the Master was once again tricked and thrown back into the Vortex into pieces again.

🌟 And Again ...

The Master's essence was eventually rescued from the Vortex by Esterath, a powerful entity preparing him for the battle over 'The Glory,' an artefact capable of controlling the Omniverse. With a new body and renewed ambition, the Preacher!Master emerged—driven by his goal of becoming the ruler of the Omniverse.

You can bet that didn't go well either. At least he didn't get thrown back into the vortex again.

They met after Saturn left Bachus. He frequented the club she wwvorked for, and at some point, she caught his eye.

He also ended up shooting her old boss for being a dick. Fuckin pompous blue blood.

She double tapped that bastard, and that wwvon him ovvwer into recruiting her for his crewwv.

At some point, though, ambition ovvwer rode their comradery, and she ran off wwvith half his fleet.

This marked the beginning of a rivvwalry to end all rivvwalries.

But one does not spend years wwvith one person being the only constant in your life, especially if that person is offering to kill your mother for you and is protecting you from the lawwv for the sake of the chase, wwvithout evvwentually shifting their feelings a bit.

SOME B-BOYS GRAFFITI HISTORY FOR YA -- TAGGING UP THE WORLD BACK IN 1989.

PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on graffiti left by the late, great Adam "MCA" Yauch (1964-2012) after the BEASTIE BOYS held a press conference on the roof of Capitol Records following the release of their "Paul's Boutique" album in the summer of 1989. Apparently, they tagged the whole rooftop and the record company had to send in the decorators to paint it all out.

PIC #2: MCA's tag was the only tag they missed and is still there today. The second shot, as of 2020, now features tags from all three B-BOYS, as Mike D and Ad-Rock added theirs in 2019.

BONUS/EXTRA INFO: Also, in black sharpie, I was able to make out, "And your amigo Mix Master Mike, Beasties forever." Nice one, MMM!
