In 1967, The Beatles attend a costume ball for the launch of their Magical Mystery Tour movie to be shown on BBC Television🌹

The idea for a costume ball was John's and the invitation to all cast and crew of the film read "Magical Mystery Tour Fancy Dress Party." It was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London🍃

All of the Beatles and their partners attended the costume ball. John was an Elvis-style rocker while Cynthia Lennon dressed as a Victorian lady. Paul and Jane Asher wore Pearly King and Queen outfits. Ringo was a Regency gentleman and Maureen Starkey an Indian maiden. George came as an Errol Flynn-style swashbuckler while Pattie Harrison was in an Eastern Princess costume later described by Cynthia as "incredibly sexy in an eastern dancer's seven-veils-and-not-much-else outfit."🌻

At the party, the nineteen year-old singer Lulu, who was riding high on the success of her movie and single "To Sir With Love," came dressed as Shirley Temple in a blond wig and carrying a large lollipop🪴

The Hallows Ball / Deadly Flora! 🌹🌸🌷🥀🍂

Greetings everybody, the Hollows Ball has returned once again over at @cosmiconix's blog ✨! This year's theme was Deadly Flora, from the most dangerous, to the strangest plants in our world. I went with a bunch of neat and strange plants and was inspired to make this beautiful dress out of the things I found. I've decided to go in a dress cause not only do I like to wear suits, but I also wear dresses as well, and sometimes both if I can! Now to answer the question, what kind of plants did I go with 🤔? Well, here are the selected plants. ↓

"Again with the cats?" Monokid groans. "What's your deal? I don't want the damn cat."

"So you say," Monotaro retorts before turning back to you to answer, himself. "Hm... I suppose it depends on the breed. It has to be cool looking, but also be able to hold its own. In that sense, I guess I like wild cats more. Lynxes and the like."

"I don't understand why someone would want such an animal for a domesticated pet," Monosuke says with a sigh. "They don't really do much. They're like platypi."

"They're alright. I like to photograph them sometimes, but I feel bad for all the poor little strays..." Nanokuma remarks, flipping through the images in his camera where he got good shots of the stray cats where they live. "Trapped outside... either rain, snow, sleet, shine, or storm... Imagine how many die just because nobody cared enough to save them..." And with that, his eyes begin to tear up.

"I want one!" Monodam says with a rare smile. He likes anything cute because it manages to keep his mind off of all the issues in his life, if only for a little while.

"Hmm..." Monophanie hums for a moment inquisitively, before thinking of a good way to word her answer. "Cute, but I don't think I could have one. It might interfere with my career too much."

"Sorry, cat lovers. They ain't for me," Kurokuma says simply, taking a puff off his cigar. "That's not to say I mind 'em, I just wouldn't go out of my way to get one."

"Kitties are so cute and deserve to be protected!" Shirokuma beams, thrilled to be asked such a cutesy question about sweet animals.

"Hm... While I would prefer something that can better hold their own, I don't think I would let one die. If I had the opportunity to rescue a kitten, of course, it would be coming home with me... regardless of Kurokuma's views," Ball replies matter-of-factly.

"If my children could all agree that they wanted one— or at least turn out a majority vote— we could get one. Any kind they wanted. Hell, I wouldn't mind getting more than one. And I don't doubt their responsibility... most of them, anyway... but they have difficulty agreeing as is," Motherkuma explains gently.

His face flushes thinking about it, and he tries to return to annotating, but she's in the basement with him and therefore — he silently curses her and his own brain, capping the pen and slamming it down before burying in his own arms with a groan.

And there she is.

"Tell me."

Mike's brain freezes, and he blinks at her in shock, his mouth opening and closing. He watches her lean forward, elbows on her knees as she supports her head in her hands.

"Tell me, Mike," she repeats, looking... actually interested?

"O-Okay..." Mike murmurs with flaming cheeks, thighs squeezing together again as he swallows. "Uh... I-It's a lot about boys?" he starts, remembering how the dreams started. "L-Like Lucas has really nice eyes and Dustin has s-soft hair and I k-kind of want Wll to suffocate me with his thighs? Or his a-ass..." he admits, swallowing as he glances up.

Nancy seems to be following intently, then her hand is moving to his knee, and Mike stares at it as he accidentally confesses about her.

"The rest is about you."

Mike slams his hands over his mouth, both of them shocked. His face feels like it's on fire, both embarrassment and arousal twisting together. He's too busy berating himself to catch what she says next.

"W-What?"

She rolls her eyes and grabs one of his hands, pulling him into her lap. "Repeat that?" she asks, Mike's brain short-circuiting at how close they are to each other.

"U-Uh..." he stutters, his eyes closing in on her lips.

He feels hands on his face and suddenly lips are on his, Mike gasping in surprise before melting into it. His bottom lip stings from her teeth and he gasps, her tongue slipping in as Mike just... follows her lead eagerly, letting their tongues slide wetly against each other, distantly feeling Nancy's hands fall to his waist as they kiss.

When they both pull away panting, Mike laughs, shocked. "Oh. Oh!"

His face is flushed still, and looking down at her, Nancy is grinning, her eyes soft as she gazes.

"Can I know what you dream about?" she asks, squeezing his hips.

Dazedly, Mike nods, not as worried about telling her anymore. "They started with you kissing me..."

She kisses him again, softer this time, and he follows.

"Then?" she asks against his lips.

But Zava, Zava didn’t even move. Ted could hear Beard yelling at the striker, but the words were lost in the white noise of the stadium.

Ted watched in horror as it all went wrong, wondering for the umpteenth time why these fellas don’t wear pads. Zava’s not where he’s supposed to be; he’s barely in the offensive zone. So he didn’t draw any defenders, and two descended quickly on Jamie, who miraculously managed a shot on net. Ted didn’t follow the ball but heard the whoosh of the ball hit the net. Instead, he watched in slow motion as one defender tackled Jamie right after the ball left his foot, and Jamie’s head hit painfully off the knee of the other defender before bouncing off the turf.

Fuck.

Ted was starting to understand the whole it’s the hope that kills you thing.

Mallory looked up as soon as he had the ball at his feet, planting his right to use the momentum to  chip the ball in a beautiful curving arc around the centre-back’s last stand. What? The ball curved beautifully through the air, the keeper wrong footed but confident it was curving wide. Then it was too late as Dani stormed through the ball crunching his foot through it and sending it flying into the inside of the top netting, the wing back that should have been following him in nowhere in sight. What? It worked? The plan fucking worked? Both Beard and Roy stared at each other as Nate jumped up and down and whooped at the success of his plan. It had never worked before. The plan was sound but it had never worked before. It was then Roy noticed. The celebrations of a well worked goal were underway but all four of the players involved kept glancing over towards them. Towards them not at them, Roy sighed and turned around. At the end of their eyeline, a grinning and softly clapping Jamie Tartt.

I watched Euphoria Season 2 episode 1 four nights ago since the passing of Angus and man… I balled my eyes out the entire time. It’s so painful to me 💔 and I’m still not over Angus is really gone. I’ll never accept this, I’m afraid 🥀 Denial, denial 😔

I forced myself to watch it because I needed to remind myself of my love and passion for Euphoria—for Fezco & Lexi 💌❤️‍🩹

Not that my love for them ever went away; it’s very much still there but, I more so needed to remind myself why I started doing Euphoria Sims in the first place.

I still have so many ideas, plans and scripts already written—still need to do part two of Our Life… it’s just very heartbreaking for me and I’m scared.

Scared of balling my eyes out again; scared of the many nights I’ll have to face my sadness during filming; scared to mourn through my dedication of tedious editing—oh the sad songs…😭

Scared to accept that I will never see him onscreen again, and that no matter how many loving videos I make that we will never see Lexi and Fezco get their happy ending Together in reality 💔

But, I am going to face my fears 🥲 I’ve never lost someone close to me, let alone an actor/actress that death has affected me as much as Angus…

So I’m going to do this for ANGUS 🌩️❤️ I’d like to think he’s all around me in spirit, covering me like a blanket as I devote the time and long nights into crafting him; his physical beauty and caring personality.

He loved art just like me, and the Sims is my best way of expressing my visual ideas and the gracefulness of their friendship and relationship—the endless depth of where it could go…where it Could have went.

Although Angus never got the chance to see my videos, my art, I am going to continue to make them in honor of Him. He is watching me; US❣️ And he is everywhere around us. Always ♾️
