1 — canon i absolutely reject

honestly ?? yttd is so well written that i don't know there's anything i dislike abt how shin is written. i love that he's short and loserish and pathetic, but equally capable of remorse and genius and self-loathing. i guess i reject the screaming death flags he's throwing up with his 0% chance of winning.....

8 — unpopular opinion about them

he's so unlike ouma it's unreal and seeing them get compared beyond surface-level similarities makes me skin itch. i elaborate on it here . if im going a bit more controversial i think his relationship w midori is SO interesting and i really like fic that explores that, and i dont think everyone who does that should be lumped in as a soushin shipper . i dont want them to kiss and get married i want to dissect them on ym science table .

37 — what they really think of themselves

INTERESTING. i think it's pretty clear shin has some low self-esteem and this is what fuels him throughout the killing game. HOWEVER what i really like abt him is that he believes he has a right to live, something that is actually fairly rare in genres like a death game. loads of main characters will end up making a sacrifice for someone else, i.e. mishima and kanna, but what drives shin to create the false identity and try to get rid of sara is that he WANTS to live, even if it's at the expense of everyone else. so his self-esteem is low, but out of something—spite, or maybe pure human preservation—it doesn't manifest in a way that makes him feel worthless or subservient to others, which we see in characters like komaeda. it's a very interesting brand of self-hatred. he goes through the game like he has something to prove.

You are correct that it is on the softer side, it’s also a little angsty, a little hurt/comfort but with a happy ending! Originally I had the idea for another character but decided to write it for Alfred Pennyworth my beloved

You’re trying not to fall for the older man you can’t have and he doesn’t make it any easier for you to get over your feelings, maybe he’s even suggesting he feels something too but can you allow yourself to think it could work?

I’m still working on backstory, Reader and Alfred are definitely going to be working together…maybe a lab setting? Lots of feelings and held back thirst for this one!!

The title is from a song of the same name by Joji and there’s a line in it that goes “don’t follow me you’ll end up in my arms” and I think that sums up how much yearning I want there to be in this 🤩

HI KAYLAN SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG TO GET TO I wanted to do a doodle but I didn’t have motivation until recently but here we go!

Basically Smoke is NOT a mutant dogboy from an experiment gone wrong and he’s just some normal dude, except he’s not a normal dude he’s a villain. Despite his goofy personality he takes his role as a villain very seriously (although he’s kinda bad at it), he even has a whole army of highly intelligent dogs to aid him. That is until he adopts Margo, Edith, and Agnes, who make him find the good in himself. One day he is forcefully hired by the Anti Villain League, where he meets another “former” villain, Gru, a grumpy half dog half man shapeshifter (he looks so goofy help) along with two minion sidekicks that the league captured and is forcing to work with them. Only he and Smoke have beef because Gru stole a bag of groceries from him earlier that week.

This is basically just their actual story but switched around so uhhhh if you switch it around in your head Despicable Me!Smoke lore drop ig?? Anyway thank you for the ask Kaylan hope you’re having a nice day! <3

Idea for Clover’s relation to Flowey/Asriel in deltarune setting: Clover first met Asriel through a site that is like club penguin, neopets etc when they both young which they become friends in the site but eventually both stop logging in when both grew up until Clover encounters Asriel since they were attending the same college that Asriel is at and they recognizes him when Asriel talks about his old account on the site, Of course Asriel’s avatar is like Flowey while Clover’s avatar is a cowboy

when they’re roommates they like hey we should friend each other on (insert social media) and BOTH of them used their old users and they’re both like. hey that’s funny i had a friend with this exact name. and boom they were actually friends when they were like 10

maybe… i should try my hand at a deltarune yellow now… this seems like a fun way to integrate flowey and clover’s friendship

probably catnap. we watched one video on poppy playtime and he just showed up, paused the video, and laid down on the floor. he just laid there. wouldn't move, and wouldn't let any of us move. we were there for like 15 minutes before he got tired of being on the floor lol

pretty evenly split between "i actively like reading this" and "you are a fool and i will read through this whole thing out of spite just to see how incorrect you are".

The moment Tommy realised that he was stuck in prison with me and there was no way out was absolutely unforgettable… A mix of disbelief, frustration, denial, and fury, only masking his utter terror, was incredibly satisfying to observe :) Isn't it adorable just how long it took my beloved little hero to accept the harsh reality and the inevitability of staying with me? I can vividly remember the moment Tommy got exhausted from screaming for Sam to let him out, the way his voice grew weaker and quivered more and more with each new attempt, and how he was trembling like a leaf but trying to maintain a tough facade. Oh, and how wonderfully intoxicating it felt to hold my little fighter in my arms, feeling every fibre of his body trembling fiercely, and hearing him choke with suppressed tears- despite having cried in front of me so many times in exile, he still felt ashamed of showing me his vulnerability :) As I soothingly ran my fingers through his tangled curls and hummed the melody of Wait - our melody, he was starting to feel more comfortable and leaned further into my touch, before bursting into tears :) Isn't it hilarious just how quickly his attitude changed from being unwilling to see me ever again, to clinging to me like his life depended on it? It's yet another proof that I own him, body, mind, and soul… :) Perhaps the real reason behind his visits was his longing for exile and our fun time together rather than anything else :) He missed me so dearly, I know it- he was simply unwilling to admit it just yet, he must've been so confused, and those treacherous friends of his messing with his mind weren't helping either. But it's okay, I was more than willing to help him figure it out- I've always been better at thinking, after all :) And after having successfully escaped prison, I reclaimed what was truly Mine and rid him of questioning whether he really needed to return to me. Because of course he did, his only destiny was to belong to Me, wasn't it? :) :) :)

A random headcanon: ex is actually pretty intuitive with redstone/engineering! they made their own suit based on xisuma's, and it's not really as good, but they also had a lot less time to develop it, and like.. no real education on how to do it. After coming to Hermitcraft they also learned a lot from Zedaph. They don't realize that they have talent though because, I mean. Their frame of reference is The Hermits.

Their skill level as it is isn't anything special compared to the hermits but they definitely have the potential to get really good with it, it's just that they don't care all that much. For Ex it's something to fool around with now and then or use when necessary but megafarms and the like don't interest them. wait oh I just remembered I have something for this

share three random facts about phys that people might not know:

they really really want a tattoo but they have a super low pain tolerance!! i think they'd get something small and basic as a starter, like the physics symbol or their favourite equation ( yes they have a favourite equation )

they really don't like wearing other people's clothes because they have safety textures and the only clothes they're used to are the ones they've owned for years. they don't mind lending their stuff to others ( read : ouma ) though.

phys is a polyglot. they speak japanese primarily, but also a decent amount of english and some cantonese and mandarin because they travel a lot on excursions with the professor.

is phys good at cooking or baking? which do they prefer?

they're mediocre at baking if they have a very detailed recipe to follow, but better at cooking but it's less precise. however cooking makes them more anxious because recipes tend to have less precise measurements and rely more on eyeballing, which makes them afraid they're going to mess it up.

what are three of phys' questionable/neutral traits:

they have a tendency to overly defend or excuse someone's actions if that person is precious to them, and get defensive when others who have valid reasons not to like that person speak ill about them.

their low self-esteem which often ends up hurting the people around them more than they realise

big bystander personality; their dislike of conflict sometimes means they try to talk over someone's entirely rational anger just for the sake of temporary peace.

🌲 It's more anthro! When transformed, my form looks a bit more human than most depictions of werewolves I've seen. But, most of the time when I'm transformed I'm inside and trapped in a room, so that might have something to do with it. (But one time, Ishifted when out in a field after wheat has been harvested and I was chasing deer and trying to run to and join a coyote pack and I felt like a feral wolf, so me being inside probably has something to do with it.)

🐺 my form does look like a existing species of wolf! The coastal sea wolf, more specifically the brown/black coat.
