Okey this is insane this would be so good it would be different but still preserve the original feeling (I need this actually)

ANOTHER MASTERPIECE like the fates would kill those ‘no, no, no’ s. Like this would be a fates heavy song with others chiming in and I would be obsessed thank you very much 🙏🙏

3. Rachel Zegler’s cover of Alejandro (by Lady Gaga)

I have never heard her sing a song badly but this song won’t go well with her voice. I think an acoustic version with harmonies would be good tho. (The more I imagine a soft acoustic version more I want it)

I think it would be good but I feel like he would make small changes to the instrumentals don’t know what else to say about it

I think it would be different definitely darker/moodier but I love the original too much so I kinda think she wouldn’t do it justice especially if it was live cause I feel like the way she sings and the playfulness in her voice is very integral to the songs whole identity

weirdly a huge YES from me I think she would lower the sound of the instrumentals and focus on her vocals which she would destroy (of course)“Sometimes I blame you sometimes I don’t” especially could be very lemonade

amazing. no notes. perfection. hozier covers are my mental health treatment

I interpret this as Hozier’s formal apology after the WAP incident (Handsome Squidwardian event for sure) He would do justice to this song, (very him) I would go insane if this was real

Lose Me

Lose Me was the song with the most votes from this poll. I have two versions of this one, an angsty one and a not angsty one but I chose to share the not angsty one. Also uhm. I wanted to make it 5 sentences but like you can see... I failed big time.

Screw it, you blew it

Wilhelm hits send to reply to the text of his ex boyfriend who tries to get him back, again.

Another message of his ex follows filled with apologies. He says he has changed and that he will never hurt him again. As if. Wilhelm knows better now, he has believed his lies for too long. He gave him a million chances but he messed up every single time.

Bummer that you had to lose me.

This is the last message he will send to his ex. It's enough. He would be stupid to go back to him. He doesn't need him anymore because now that he is free from him and his manipulative behaviour he sees what he is into, he sees all the things that he likes without him. Most important he likes himself without him. It's as if a new world has opened for him.

"Here", Simon, says to Wilhelm, handing him a glass of wine.

They have been dating for a few weeks now. They kissed a few times but the word boyfriend hasn't rolled over their lips yet.

Wilhelm feels how his phone keeps vibrating in his pants and Simon hears it too.

"Someone needs you apparently", Simon says taking a sip from his wine.

"He is not important", Wilhelm answers.

"He?", Simon raises his eyebrows.

"My ex. He messed up more than once and now he wants me back", Wilhelm replies honestly. A frustrated sigh follows.

Simon smiles and puts his glass to the side before he straddles Wilhelm's lap. His finger glides over Wilhelm's cheek.

"That's too bad for him. You're all mine now", Simon squeezes Wilhelm's cheeks with his hands.

"Is that so?", Wilhelm's tone is playful.

"Hmhm. All mine", Simon repeats biting his lip, something small that makes Wilhelm's insides burn.

He smiles and pushes Simon on the couch, straddling him and pinning his arms above his head.

"You're my every night fantasy", Wilhelm whispers before dragging his tongue over Simon's neck. He kisses the soft skin there, making Simon gasp.

"And what does that mean?", Simon asks playful and with a smile.

"You're about to find out", Wilhelm whispers before kissing Simon wild and with much passion. Simon wraps his legs around Wilhelm's waist to pull him closer to him.

"I think I like this already", Simon whispers in between kisses.

I'm doing it without you, I'll keep doing it without you.

Hands wander over bodies, discovering every piece of skin. Clothes end up on the floor. Moans fill Simon's living room. A glass of wine gets spilled on the carpet but they don't care. Wilhelm has never felt as free as with Simon.

Unintentionally, you were setting me free.

So thank you baby.

"The Obsession" by Charlotte Wessels is to me the cherry on the top of her solo work (maybe even all of her work) so far - unique, super personal and touching!

Despite being an awful fan (forgot when it was supposed to come out), I was pleased to see that Illumishade's "Another Side of You" shows once again the band members' amazing talent - the lyrics are not as fantasy-themed as in the debut, but the style I can describe only as "cinematic" hits just as hard (I'm still not over the fact that they have a literal film score composer in the band...).

"The Catalyst" was the perfect treat for both old and new Amaranthe fans, what can I say (I think I fall in both categories XD).

"Pirates II Armada" was, surprisingly for me, another example of Visions of Atlantis managing to one-up themselves and create a fun musical journey that has just the right amount of entertaining and touching songs.

"Opera" by Fleshgod Apocalypse really deserved its dramatic name - bombastic, chilling and overall amazing record.

One record I regret not hearing in full sooner is "A Dark Euphony" (2023) by Blackbriar - it's not that I didn't know of the band, but I somehow never really checked their music beyond the one song I liked (Cicada) before seeing them live - after which it's safe to say that I'm not normal about their music. 🥴 *sigh*
