Does Komaeda's attitude toward his talent extend to all lucky students or is that exclusive to him? He always seems to find a way to categorize himself to be less than those he admires, be it someone talentless, someone with a talent that barely counts, or someone who was consumed by despair. He holds the belief that people who have no talent are worthless and applies that people without discrimination.

So my question is, does he consider all ultimate lucky students to be lesser than other ultimates, but greater than the talentless? Does he see them as he sees himself, a worthless person in the unique position to be a stepping stone for "true" ultimates? I tried looking for interactions with Makoto and Nagito and only saw the Mahjong one in UTDP which didn't give me much.

I'm asking like, during the school era before the killing games btw!

I found an interaction between just Naegi and Komaeda without the context of Naegi being the Ultimate Hope :D

I was looking for one in a past post and I knew it existed somewhere, but sometimes my brain makes up stuff so I wasn't 100% sure-

Of course, with stuff like DRS you gotta take it with a grain of salt, but it's still material to think about regarding Komaeda's interactions with another lucky student

one time I was roleplaying komaeda in Minecraft and I got lost, tamed wolves, went into a cave and found like... all the ores except redstone which i needed to make a compass to get home cause now i had wolves, then my wolves exploded because a bunch of mobs suddenly appeared. then I found Redstone, which was pointless now. and like I vaguely remember there being an Izuru roleplayer in the vc so i was just narrating all this in character-ish (it's improv hard mode...) and they were simply there. listening to a train wreck. fun times ^^

Hello! My name is Rose and I'm relatively new to tumblr. I go by she/her and I'm a minor.

I've been into danganronpa for a few years now, pretty sure I'm going to be stuck this way. However, I have not completed many of the games. Spoilers are fine though, since my introduction to the fandom was a video of all executions and deaths (no mystery for me, very sad).

I also like FNAF, Monster High, Gravity Falls, Starkid's Hatchetfield series, TBHK, DHMIS, Mouthwashing, and Squid Game! A lot of fandoms come and go in my mind, I'll add them if I remember- (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

When I'm feeling up to it, I'll try to post art or other creative endeavors but I mainly started using this blog cause I didn't like being an anon when talking to rp blogs. I also made some (check down below)!

I use unique tags, so I'll tag irregular ones on this post if you wanna look through them. Additionally, the buds tag refers to general thoughts/convos, the brambles tag is usually for more serious(ish) stuff, and the sunshine tag is for stuff that makes me happy.

i was thinking a little and was like. man. school ages are weird. cause if you're born near the school cut off you're either the oldest (or youngest in some cases) in your class. and then naturally, i thought, danganronpa 2: goodbye despair.

so, considering school in japan starts in april, mahiru and komaeda are the oldest in their class, with mahiru being born on April 24th. and chiaki is the youngest of the class, born on March 14th.

oldest to youngest is as follows:

mahiru, nagito, mikan, kazuichi, peko, akane, fuyuhiko, teruteru, sonia, ibuki, gundham, hajime, nekomaru, hiyoko, chiaki

also i looked up how many in-game days dr2 was and apparently it was 23 days, just before anyone's birthday. hmm...

do you ever think he may have been the only memorable lucky student in recent years? He's the only example mentioned to give credit to the lucky student title before makoto...

And statistically, despite how unlikely as result will be, someone will be the ultimate lucky student each class year. Not every time will that lucky student actually have supernatural luck like nagito

Also kinda funny it was the 77th class. Lucky number 7 ^^
