TW: s/h talk hey, recently ive been under a lot of stress because of personal issues and school starting back up again. it was all so much that i relapsed but not too badly, thank goodness. now, a few days later, the wounds have healed and i'm restarting my streak when I find this blog. (personal best: 8 months :D)

i'll most likely be reading through the resources on this blog to try and find alternatives just in case something like this (almost) happens again, and i just want to say, to whoever admins this blog: Thank you. And to those who are thinking of hurting yourself as a way to deal with stuff going on in ur life, please don't. In the words of my closest friend: "Once you start, it stays with you." ive always felt bad about venting to anyone because I didn't want to worry them with my troubles, and there are many people who I don't trust due to them having connections to my overbearing parents. Nonetheless, it's still important to be able to just let it out sometimes, because when you bottle it up, it's like sealing dry ice in an airtight container and microwaving it. The pressure keeps building until you reach that breaking point and it just explodes. That's why it's important to have a safe outlet for all of this. (Originally, this ask was just supposed to be a thank-you to this blog, but I get the feeling there are others who need to see this as well.) (Also, I get the feeling I may return in the future, so can I be sea-dragon anon? 🌊🐉)

Sea dragon anon, thanks for this! I hope you don't relapse again, but if it happens I am here to help. I also think your message is important because a lot of people don't tell and they do end up exploding as you said. Something I am doing now that I haven't felt too well is play chess. I am horrible at it, but it relaxes me. Try it!

If anybody wants to see me lose at chess, tell me and I'll tell you where I play online. It's also good to laugh at others people's mistakes!.

... Hey big man. Are *you* knocked up? 🤨 Heatwave doesn't look like he is to me so I thought you two switched.

             High Tide’s optics quickly changed in shape as he almost choked on his energon cube. Normally, those pesky grayfaces show up to ask if Heatwave was expecting another sparkling from them, but this time? They caught him unprepared with such unexpected twist.

             His servo dropped flat on the nearest surface at his hip level. And then a small noise came from him... and again, but a bit louder. And then again... And again.

             Until he was... laughing? Yes, he was laughing, though it almost didn’t sound genuine by how loud he was being. A servo, now free since he dropped his energon cube aside, half covered his faceplate as he laughed. Something was clearly wrong in that laughter... it hid some pain in it, perhaps a pain from his spark as his claws momentarily exposed themselves and scratched at the hard surface and faceplate.

             Are those... tears?

             “... no...” He finally spoke again after a few minutes of silence after ‘laughter’, his voice low and soft. He wondered what exactly prompted this kind of question, but it didn’t matter much. “No we... We aren’t expectin’, we will wait until Pearl is a bit older for that. And besides... I’m not built for that function, anyways. My armor is too heavy for that and—” he had to cut himself short to avoid a sob that dared to leave his vocoder, making a dismissive gesture with his servo.

             He clearly didn’t want to talk about himself on that topic.

I enjoy hearing about your headcanons and especially his gladiator era! There is a lot of love and care that goes into him that's so very evident <3 Your interactions with other fandoms often makes me laugh and I enjoy seeing people not take roleplaying so seriously because it's meant to be fun and silly sometimes! You and other mun have also encouraged me to start branching out of the fandom for roleplay partners because you just look like you're having a lot of fun.
