🌿 Feste & Traditionen auf der Insel Rab – April & Mai

Auf der Insel Rab gibt es einige besondere Feierlichkeiten, die tief in der Geschichte und Kultur der Region verwurzelt sind.

📌 Križevo (Letzter Sonntag im April)

Dieses traditionelle Votivfest führt Gläubige aus allen Pfarreien der Insel in einer feierlichen Prozession zur Kathedrale in der Stadt Rab. Jede Pfarrei trägt ihre eigene Fahne, und es wird eine große Messe abgehalten. Diese Tradition reicht bis ins 15. Jahrhundert zurück und wurde als Dank für die Errettung von einer Pestepidemie eingeführt.

📌 Spargelfest (April – Mai)

Ein Highlight für Feinschmecker! Restaurants auf Rab bieten in dieser Zeit köstliche Gerichte mit wildem Spargel an. Dieses Fest zelebriert nicht nur die kulinarischen Traditionen der Insel, sondern auch die enge Verbindung der Bewohner zur Natur.

Vacation in Croatia, Pula (Pt. 1) [2/2]

First day (10. 07. 2024)

In the afternoon (after checking in to the apartman) we visited the Colosseum (my parents visited it just themselves in 2002.) in Pula and the temple of Augustus. We went to a church too, we also visited the castle here, although we were just outside of it.

Then we walked down to port of the town, the sea was so beautiful 🥰
