Question for all my fellow Red, White, & Royal Blue fans: Where was the ice cream scene? The one when Alex and Henry meet in the kitchen and Henry eats those ice cream cone things (I don’t remember what they are called). I did a double check & the scene is in the trailer. Did it get cut? Does anyone know?

At first I saw this and was like "oh god is it gonna be like one of those gay movies where they look like theyd rather go down a razor waterslide than kiss they look like theyre about to beat eachothers ass-" BUT. then i realized. It's the talk show scene. They look like they're about to beat eachother's ass because they're like 3 seconds away from doing just that on national television because they're being forced to hang out. Relief. This is so fun actually, hope restored.

I like to think Brooklyn is a White House Intern during the last year of Ellen Claremont's 2nd term. I reckon Smith and Shara would be on the front lines of the "History, Huh?" movement. I think Chloe cheered so hard she spilled her soda on her roommate's carpet when she watched Alex's speech and heard him say "I'm the First Son of the United States and I'm bisexual. History will remember us". I think Ash and a few of their uni friends painted a mural of Prince Henry in an underpass after the story broke and it went viral (and I like to think Alex printed it out and has it stuck up on his desk through the better part of his time in law school). Idk I think it would be fun if they were in the same world

Also! I want to say that one of my OTHER favorite things about Red, White, & Royal Blue is the way the scenes will transition when Henry & Alex talk or text. It’s like they’re right beside each other so it seems more real I think.

& I really want to say that as a book to movie adaption this one is pretty awesome. I think one of the best adaptions ever (but I’m a biased fan haha). I know there were things left out like (SPOILER) June and the fact that Alex’s dad & mom are divorced and he has a stepdad but overall given that it’s a short movie and not a series I think the overall story still holds pretty true to the book. Casey McQuiston & group did a really good job.

CONCLUSION: I will eat my hat. The movie looks really really really fucking good, it looks spectacular and I am so excited for it. I trust them. I'm only SLIGHTLY mad they barely had Nora in it and I'm only SLIGHTLY bitter at cutting June and Luna. But I am an optimist and I will focus on the good which is that they're doing the characters incredible justice, and if I see one person try to deny their chemistry I will A Clockwork Orange their ass to this trailer for days. Because That Is Alex and Henry. That's them in front of my eyes and I think they're in very good hands and this is the most coherent thing I can write I'm still crying-/srs

I think I’m loosing my mind because I swear the book does not say anything about Hanover-Stuart being part of Henry’s name.

“We didn’t raise you to be a homophonic bellend.” Catherine says and moves to Philip. She puts her arms on his shoulders. “You should apologize to your brother, darling.” She kisses the top of his head and sits next to him. Philip��s face goes from anger to relenting understanding. “I’m sorry, Henry. People doubted Mazzy and I too when we were younger.” Phillip relents, “I still think you’re full young to be making such permanent decisions, but it’s your decision.”
