ㅤAre there any deities you don’t currently worship but want to learn about?

yessss, many actually ! first of all i want to search about my deities' family, lovers and friends in the myths. like Lady Asteria, Lord Ares, Lady Athena, Lord Ouranos, Lord Perses, King Zeus and Queen Hera, Lord Helios, etc!! but three i want to search because i seriously think about worshipping someday are Hermes, Lord Hades and specially Persephone. i really really want worship her someday.

three months as a hellenic polytheist and soon four months since i started to devote myself to Hecate !

ㅤWhich deity did you most recently start worshipping?

ㅤApollo and Selene. i've been casually worshipping him for some time but now i'm starting to turn it a " offical " part of my practice literally yesterday lmao. but Lady Selene i've been worshipping for some weeks, if you consider that Apollo i've been already worshipping, she's the most recent!

ㅤWere you called to them or did you reach out first?

ㅤi think i reached out first to both of them. i did some offerings to Apollo and then he started to show up some times and i keep going with the offerings, now put them on his part of his shared altar with Lady Artemis. with Lady Selene i did a tarot reading asking if i could worship her and she said yes !! ( i was so happy that day ♡ )

ㅤDo you think there were specific reasons behind why you were drawn to them?

ㅤyes, i do ! i always felt drawn to the moon and i always found beautiful the idea of the moon being actually a being, since i was a child. when i found out that in the ancient times people worshipped the moon as god / dess it just felt right. and when i started on hellenic polytheism i knew that one day i would worship Lady Selene since she is the personification of the moon.

i liked Apollo since i started to read myths when i was a child. my nickname is "sol" and it means "sun" in my language ( fun fact about me: my first surname is "luna", that means "moon" in spanish and italian ! ) i always were a very artistic person, every type of art always made me admired. when i was a child i wanted to be a doctor, and today as a queer person, Apollo being a god with stories about queer love makes so happy. it's a mix of all he represents. he inspires me in a way i can't even describe.

ㅤWho was the first deity you began worshipping? Do you still worship them now?

Hecate!! yes i still worship her, and if it's possible i will never stop!! she's the central part of both of my pratices, as a hellenic polythiest and as a witch. i worship her since before i know what hellenic polytheism means. knowing what is helpol the first deity i started worshipping is Aphrodite!!

I was looking my calendar, the last noumenia of the year will be december 31!! I'm already thinking about what i will do to the gods because i will be with my family the whole day provably

my cat jumped and broken the glass heart where i used to keep the necklace that i use as an devotional act to Aphrodite and some little other offerings :( at least the necklace and my cat are fine

had a marvelous time at the beach yesterday, and collected seashells to Lady Aphrodite and Lady Hecate!! i sadly didn't brought nothing for Lady Artemis but i drew Her as an deer

at my noumenia tarot reading with Hecate yesterday and She got me crying, but in a very good way. i want to keep the details to myself but i'm so glad She see me that way. i'm so so so grateful

yesterday i was meditating for Lady Aphrodite and suddently She called me Her daughter. the type of meditation i have been doing lately i don't directly talk to the gods just wait for they say or show me what they want. when i fineshed i instantly took my tarot cards and asked Her if She is my soul mother in the "yes or no" type of question. i got the two of pentacles (maybe). then i asked Her if She is a part of my soul family. queen of pentacles (yes). i remember of reading that this card is a very maternal one, my last question was if it mean an "yes". i got the four of cups (no)

i'm goth and a little bit (to not say absolutely) obssessed with vampires!! my upg alwayd have been Lady Hecate likes bat and vampire related things, i was reading about the origin of the myth of the vampire and remembered that She is, actually, related with one myth that some historians believe have inspired the vampires, the empousai!

i have been reading a lot about them btw, maybe i will make a longer post about it!!

LADY HECATE FOR THE ASK GAME !!!

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤwhen She usually shows up for me?

ㅤㅤwhen i'm doing / reading about magic, witchcraft or divination. when i feel connected with nature, and specially when i'm facing choices i feel her at my side.

ㅤㅤi also think about Her when i look at the sky. the sunset, the sunrise. at the night, when the stars and the moon are visible. Hecate Astrodia is very present in my life, i pray to her every night before sleep and i also feel this connection with this epithet < 3

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤwhat She is like for me?

ㅤㅤShe has always been like a mother to me, and she is actually my soul mother! besides, She feels like a free spirit, the mystery cover Her because She is too much at the same time, She is totally Herself and She doesn't hide it. The light and the dark in one single point. She is so so sweet, and She will accept you with all the ugly parts and show you the path for start to know and learn to live harmonically with those parts. She is a teacher, She is a protector, She is a guide, She is a friend. i love Her so so so much!! i can't even describe in words.

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤhow much have i bounded with Her

ㅤㅤa lot!! She is the deity who i am more closer and i pray to Her every night, most of my pratice as a witch is dedicated to Her!! :D

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤthe most shocking thing about Her

ㅤㅤwhen i started i was very scared of Her i have to admit, i had absolutly no experience with paganism and i was raised to avoid it. knowing Lady Hecate was knowing a new world. Her energy is strong, but cosy and magnetic. as i always say, she is very sweet!! it was shocking too lmao.

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤ the least shocking thing about Her

ㅤㅤShe have this mysterious way and "wise-woman-who-knows-a-lot" at first meet. almost everything about Her was shocking to me at that time so idk

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤ my opinion about Her

ㅤㅤLady Hecate represents some of the most important aspects in our world: choices, limits, the limiar. people forget of Her ""good"" side, if She is one side of the coin, she will be the other side too. everyone knows She has domain over the death, but remember She is also the goddess of birth and rebirth! she has lunar aspects, but did you know that she is also related to the sun? always it: midday and midnight. dreams and nightmares. starts, moon and sun. sky, sea and earth. angels and demons. etc!

She is very misunderstood, She is not that dark and evil the pop culture paints Her, She also wasn't in the myths!! anyways i will never be tired of saying how i love Her, how She is so careful with me and so kind. i deeply love you, Mother!!
