Amazing list!! I would like to add two books by the brazilian writer Marcia C. Silva, Bruxaria Hekatina (Hekatain Witchcraft ) and As Faces de Hekate (The Faces of Hekate ) I'm not sure if her books are translated to english but even if they're not is the best option for portuguese speakers.

had a marvelous time at the beach yesterday, and collected seashells to Lady Aphrodite and Lady Hecate!! i sadly didn't brought nothing for Lady Artemis but i drew Her as an deer

at my noumenia tarot reading with Hecate yesterday and She got me crying, but in a very good way. i want to keep the details to myself but i'm so glad She see me that way. i'm so so so grateful

some years ago a dog gave birth under a tree on my grandma's house. one puppy stayed with my cousing, the others with their neighbours, just one left and my aunt didn't knew what to to with her, so she asked my mom if we could stay with her. we couldn't because we already had one dog and my dad always was mad at home so any anwer from him would be a "no".

but she brought the dog even after we say no, in a tray. literally in a tray. then here we were, in the door of our home with this little fluffy puppy wrapped in a towel, we almost couldn't see her eyes because her hair was so dark she looked like a plush. i still remember as if it was yesterday

we couldn't let this little thing go back that tree, so we hide her under a hat and got into home, for my dad don't see her. we stayed with her in my mother's room (still inside the hat) thinking about how tf we should tell him. that day he was specially mad, but at night we took her and the hat because she just didn't want leave it and showed him. in the morning he was screaming "i don't wanna a pooch in my house!! if you bring it here you..." blah blah blah

but when he saw her he just started to cry?? almost sobbing. i've never seen my dad cry until that moment and gave her a hug.

when my dad was mad and me and my mom needed run way, she started scape with us and she had the same fear of us, sometimes i was waiting to my mom calm him down outside our home, she was there with me.

then when Mother Hecate was calling me, everytime i thought about Hecate she barked. i started to see it as an sign because she is that type of dog that never, never barks. (oh and she is a black dog!!) just if there's other dogs in our door or strangers. when i tried to communicate with Hecate for the first time, i heard tree dogs barking at the same time, one of them was her. sometimes when i ask Mother Hecate's help into something, her bark is like an "yes" to me. now when i look back and see my dog's story i can just have this feeling that Hecate has always been around

LADY HECATE FOR THE ASK GAME !!!

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤwhen She usually shows up for me?

ㅤㅤwhen i'm doing / reading about magic, witchcraft or divination. when i feel connected with nature, and specially when i'm facing choices i feel her at my side.

ㅤㅤi also think about Her when i look at the sky. the sunset, the sunrise. at the night, when the stars and the moon are visible. Hecate Astrodia is very present in my life, i pray to her every night before sleep and i also feel this connection with this epithet < 3

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤwhat She is like for me?

ㅤㅤShe has always been like a mother to me, and she is actually my soul mother! besides, She feels like a free spirit, the mystery cover Her because She is too much at the same time, She is totally Herself and She doesn't hide it. The light and the dark in one single point. She is so so sweet, and She will accept you with all the ugly parts and show you the path for start to know and learn to live harmonically with those parts. She is a teacher, She is a protector, She is a guide, She is a friend. i love Her so so so much!! i can't even describe in words.

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤhow much have i bounded with Her

ㅤㅤa lot!! She is the deity who i am more closer and i pray to Her every night, most of my pratice as a witch is dedicated to Her!! :D

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤthe most shocking thing about Her

ㅤㅤwhen i started i was very scared of Her i have to admit, i had absolutly no experience with paganism and i was raised to avoid it. knowing Lady Hecate was knowing a new world. Her energy is strong, but cosy and magnetic. as i always say, she is very sweet!! it was shocking too lmao.

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤ the least shocking thing about Her

ㅤㅤShe have this mysterious way and "wise-woman-who-knows-a-lot" at first meet. almost everything about Her was shocking to me at that time so idk

☆ㅤㅤִㅤㅤ my opinion about Her

ㅤㅤLady Hecate represents some of the most important aspects in our world: choices, limits, the limiar. people forget of Her ""good"" side, if She is one side of the coin, she will be the other side too. everyone knows She has domain over the death, but remember She is also the goddess of birth and rebirth! she has lunar aspects, but did you know that she is also related to the sun? always it: midday and midnight. dreams and nightmares. starts, moon and sun. sky, sea and earth. angels and demons. etc!

She is very misunderstood, She is not that dark and evil the pop culture paints Her, She also wasn't in the myths!! anyways i will never be tired of saying how i love Her, how She is so careful with me and so kind. i deeply love you, Mother!!

i'm goth and a little bit (to not say absolutely) obssessed with vampires!! my upg alwayd have been Lady Hecate likes bat and vampire related things, i was reading about the origin of the myth of the vampire and remembered that She is, actually, related with one myth that some historians believe have inspired the vampires, the empousai!

i have been reading a lot about them btw, maybe i will make a longer post about it!!

finally found some good information about divine families and it helps me to understand more about myself actually, there's a lot of time since i discovered Hecate as my soul mother but i've never really understand the concept of divine familes and always i tried ask to Her about it i've get too much worried or excited and it messed up my divination, i ended up whitout answers and more confuse. specially bc i mostly tried reach Her through meditation before i learn tarot and emotional mess means a messed up meditation. now i look back at the moment where She told me She's my mother and all make sense suddently
