The pilgrims’ hymn for Matsunoodera (松尾寺) in Maizuru, Kyoto Prefecture, from a hymnal for the thirty-three temples of the western pilgrimage circuit dedicated to Kannon Bodhisattva (観音菩薩)

My own rough, tentative translation follows:

Number Twenty-Nine: Seiyōzan Matsunoodera Temple (Shingon School) in Kasa District, Tango Province

Matsunoo, Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture

A hymn for Batō Kannon:

Since days of old How many eons have passed, And yet even now This temple ever awaits, Steadfast for thousands of years
