You must be a little crazy to have chosen me. How did you hear my unspoken words? You are like the day, and I’m like the night. Let’s get together like the evenings. Love, wonderful love. It will break your heart and then heal it like the ethreal thing it is.

Riddle: You broke a rule and he was mad at you. Not to mention he is supposed tutor you as well. Which meant only one thing— nobody's gonna here the end of it. You could tell he was trying hard. He didn't want to lash out. Maybe that's why, he was quiet. When the study session ended, you couldn't take the silence anymore. You didn't want him to be upset with you—not when...you love him so much. He deserves to know that! 

"Riddle, I love you."

He stopped in his tracks. He never expected to hear that words, specially from you. Not after everything. He didn't deserve it. He was supposed to be mad at you, yet...

"(Y/N)... No..."

"What do you mean, no?"

"I- we can't do this. You shouldn't—you shouldn't love ME out of all people. I don't deserve that. N-not that—

"Riddle, that's for me to decide. Say, do you reciprocate my feelings or not?"

"I-I... I do."

His voice was barely above a whisper. His face felt like it was on fire. Why do you have such an effect on him?! Despite all the doubts he couldn't help but melt in your touch as you wrap your arms around him.

Leona: He was being petty again and he was aware. But Leona is a little shit when he wants to be and we all know that. You were tired of the back and forth bickering. He just wouldn't hear you out. So, you had one last trick up your sleeve aka confess to him.

"Leona, I love you."

He was surprised. Huh? You? Love him? It took him a minute to process your words and when he finally did it he smirked like a crazy person.

"Huh, of course you love me herbivore."

His lips were on yours in no time. Congrats! You just skyrocketed his ego even further.

Azul: "I love you, Azul."

One day you dropped the bomb on him outta nowhere. He was flabbergasted. He is dreaming, right? There's no way in hell that you love his dumbass self! But there's the thing. You do love his dumbass self and when you tell him that, he is ready to crawl in his octopot. His face was redder than a tomato. He can never keep up his cool facade when you are smiling at him with literally hearts in your eyes!

"I-I-I d-don't u-unders-stand?"

He was a stuttering mess.

You took a deep breath and repeated yourself.

Vil: He was doing your make-up. According to him, applying make-up can make your mood better. You didn't really think so. But, oh well, he was passionate. Also, there's another reason for not saying 'no' to him. Because, this is one of the times when his complete focus is on you and you get to see his work. He loves to try out new things with you since you are the only female in the whole campus. (He likes you, but, he will never admit it.) So, it's a win-win situation for the both of you. His dedication makes you smile. Maybe, it's time that you tell him about your true feelings.

"Vil, I love you."

His hands dosen't stop, like he wasn't even surprised. But inside, he felt his heart bursting with overwhelming joy. He is overjoyed that his sweet potato feels the same for him.

He leans in.

Idia: You decided to confess to him during an anime marathon in his room.The anime was romantic and that felt like a perfect timing. You locked your fingers with his, so he dosen't run away.

"Idia, I love you."

His hair literally was flaming red. He is dead sure that he heard wrong. But, the serious look on your face said otherwise. That's when he noticed how you were holding his hand and man he was sure that his heart will burst out of his chest. How can you even like a pathetic otaku like him?! That dosen't make any sense!!

He couldn't even form a proper sentence. His eyes widened even more when you leaned in.

Malleus: Confessing to Malleus was proving to be harder than you thought. This guy gives off mixed signals. Not to mention that he is the future king of Briar Valley. It's really hard to understand this dragon. But, oh well, if you need to find out, then you have to confess. End of story.

So, when he arrives during night time, like he always does, you straight up admit that you love him.

"Malleus, I love you."

His eyes widened and his jaw dropped, showing his little fangs. He is adorable, you have to give him that. But then, a huge smile spreads across his face.

"My dear child of man, I see that you beat me to it. I wanted to confess too."

Even if his cheeks were red, you decided to ignore that as his lips landed on yours.

Thomas Hewitt

Thomas had had a long day working, and you had had a long day of doing your own chores. Your joints ached, and you thanked the stars that it was becoming fall. The almost unbearable heat from the summer nights was moving out, and it was becoming nicer.

You dressed into your nightgown and climbed into bed. Thomas wasn't far behind, undressing down to his boxers and climbing in after you. He had even gotten comfortable enough to remove his mask. The bags under your eyes felt like they weighed a ton as your eyes struggled to stay open.

You looked over to Thomas, who was already staring at you as he admired your features. He still couldn't fathom why someone as pretty as you would fall for someone like him. You never chastised him like Hoyt did.

You felt your cheeks start burning and averted your eyes, which caused him to chuckle. He pulled you closer to him, and you couldn't help the giggle that left you. You pressed a kiss to his cheek, and he grinned. Despite being married (at least in the eyes of the family) you two acted like you had yet to leave the honeymoon phase. Of course you had the occasional argument. It was nothing that couldn't be solved though.

Your sleepiness hit you in the face and you felt yourself starting to drift off. Thomas had started his nightly habit of rubbing your back. It seemed as soothing to him as it was to you. You gave him one last sleepy smile before drifting off. He drifted off as well.

Vincent Sinclair

Vincent had been working in the basement (as per usual), and you knew he needed to quit for the night. The sun was nearly setting, and he had worked through the day from nearly sun up. You had brought him food and drinks throughout the day to make sure he didn't get too engrossed in his work. You had also made dinner, which was why you wanted him to stop for the night.

You made your way to the basement, knocking to announce your arrival so you wouldn't surprise Vincent. You opened the door and stepped in, smiling at Vincent, who had looked up to see who was at the door. From the way his mask shifted, you could tell he was smiling.

He wiped his hands off on his apron, and you practically skipped up to him. You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed his masked cheek. Vincent hugged you to him before releasing you after a moment. "I think it's time for a break, my love." You say and smile at him. He stands still for a moment as if thinking over what you said before agreeing with you. "It's becoming night anyway." He nodded, and you two headed back to the house.

It didn't take long for you to arrive, and you got plates out from the kitchen, setting the little kitchen table. Silverware came next, and then you plated the food, setting it on the table. Vincent waited for you to sit down before removing his mask to eat. Vincent wasn't scared to take his mask off around you anymore. He just preferred to have it on.

You two ate happily, making small talk about your current projects and such. After dinner was finished, being ate and cleaned up, you headed for the bedroom. Neither of you were ready for bed, but you knew it likely wouldn't be long before you got tired. You yawned and changed into your pajamas before climbing into bed. Vincent changed out of his wax stained clothes and did the same, changing into his own pajamas and climbing into bed with you.

You let out a sigh and rubbed your eyes. Vincent smiled at you, and you could tell he was worn out. You smiled back at him snuggled against him. He blushed but didn't object, wrapping his arm around your waist. You played with a strand of his hair and kissed him sweetly, which he returned. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, apparently more tired than he had realized.

Brahms Heelshire

A soft yawn escaped you as you stood in the kitchen, making the two of you dinner. The majority of the rules had been completed, which left you at dinner. Brahms had disappeared into the walls before you started cooking as he usually did.

You hummed softly as you diced the vegetables that would be used in the dish. Soon enough the dish went into the oven to cook. You let yourself drift into your own little world as you cleaned up the cabinets and cutting board. So far into your own little world that you didn't notice Brahms standing behind you.

The feeling of eyes on you pulled you out and you turned, jumping almost instantly at the sight of Brahms in your peripheral. A soft huff left you as you hung the towel up you had used to dry your hands. "Why didn't you say something?"

He shrugged before picking you up by your thighs and setting you on the counter. A surprised squeak left you as you grabbed onto him for support. A childish giggle left him. He seemed proud of himself. Before you could say anything he shoved his face into your chest, wrapping his arms around your waist.

Your chest had easily become his favorite pillow (next to your thighs). When you read to him, he would lay with his head on your chest. If he could find the opportunity to do it, he likely would. You wrapped your arms around his head loosely and set your head on top of his.

Though you couldn't see his face, you knew he was grinning. His body language alone portrayed how he was feeling. You let your fingers run through his hair, gently working out any knots. He nearly purred. And so you two stayed in relatively the same position until the meal finished cooking.

the fact that he can do that for you is comforting and makes you feel protected

which Zoro is protective of you because of how naive you are

Zoro is very wary of strangers for you

It was dark in the base when you came back. “…hello? Anyone home?” You asked with unease.

You heard the click of a lamp being switched on and seeing a brooding Risotto looking quite displeased.

“Where were you all day?” He interrogated.

“Sigh…Ris I TOLD you this morning I was going to hang out with my friends.” You rubbed your forehead at his dramatics.

“You never mentioned it was Bucciarati and his underlings…”he grumbled.

“Why do I have to? YOU KNOW I don’t have any other friends! …in Italy that is.” You sighed.

That made you snort. “He has plenty of hobbies. Probably too many which is why he has anger issues and hates his parents.” You snickered.

“Oh so you just need some friends for feminine time? Well I guess that’s ok… I really wish it wasn’t Bucciarati and his crew but it’s not like you can find some non mafiosos to hang out with.” He said feeling a little hesitant.

“Don’t worry, I’ll always have time for you Pesci! They’re my friends but the squad is my family! …my very fucked up dysfunctional family!”you said hugging him.

This helps him calm down. Everyone needs guy/girl time regardless of gender. Just make sure you go fishing with him every Sunday!

You're gonna have to hear me out but I have been on the Schizophrenic Carmy hc since watching s1 and it has a fair amount of symptom overlap with autism. If that's anything.

Oh MY GOD!?

I just checked a couple of articles on symptoms of schizophrenia and I see what you mean.

Possibly inherited from his mother, feeling joyless, his emotionless delivery, difficulty communicating, his inability to take care of himself, insomnia, prone to addiction, "is that in my head"... I see it.

Also, the way the show is shot, with Mikey's voice, Carmy's nightmares and visual cues of stress taking over at times... That could definitely be read as auditory and visual hallucinations.

I'm still firmly with the possibly autistic headcanon, mainly because he is described as shy and "weird" even as a child and there's little discussion about him changing drastically during or after his teenage years, so we're assuming that he's always been this way, only maybe less depressed. There's also his need for structure and attention to detail - though, that could be explained with the comorbidity of OCD and schizophrenia, I've learnt.

All in all, an incredibly valid interpretation that I hadn't ever considered. Rest assured that I will be thinking about this for literal days. It's honestly fascinating stuff, thank you for sharing your headcanon with me - I love to discuss thoughts about this 💜

for one he either 1. got it from doing some stupid shit with steve or 2. he ate bad food

regardless bro is NOT happy

he probably tries to hide it because he doesn’t want to miss work because he knows how hard he needs to be working but uh

his stomach has never heard of “subtlety” and 100% rats out his attempts at going to work

Darry and Pony both had to go to school/work but I feel like Pony would pass the message to Steve at school and Steve would literally just,,,skip school and work to be able to take care of him

Hes a very physical person and at first I feel like Steve was NOT having it because he didn’t want to get sick but he can’t say no to Soda and his puppy eyes

So Soda is curled up in Steve’s lap while Steve just pets his hair and runs his tummy a bit

He gets freaked out by how vocal poor Soda’s stomach is-like Pony and Darry are used to it but Steve is oblivious as hell lol

He feels SO terrible if Pony has a track meet that day too and tries to go but Steve is like “if you get out of that bed I won’t cuddle you” and Soda just relents

Poor boy has VICIOUS bouts of nausea. Like he can’t even keep his eyes open.

You always know when he’s gonna vomit because he kinda does that thing dogs do where they make that sound and their chests heave-he also gets real hiccupy

He hates vomiting and always ends up crying because he’s just straight up miserable

By the time Pony and Darry get home, Darry tells Pony to go shower and he gets in bed on Soda’s other side

He gets a lot more outwardly nurturing post book I think? Like he’s just down to eye level with Soda and is like “Hey, buddy…you okay..?” and Soda just whines and puts his head in Darry’s lap

Its bad enough that Pony and Darry can’t cook food because the scent of it makes Soda vomit

I think Soda also has very heightened senses when he’s sick for whatever reason so they can’t even go out to get food because he’ll just vomit when he smells it

So they just opt to not have dinner and Soda feels even WORSE because he knows Darry came from a long day at work and Pony came from a track meet but they both just tell him it’s okay and that they’ll be sure to eat a big breakfast the next day (let’s say the next day is Saturday lol)

While both of them usually get hangry as hell they just don’t in Soda’s presence because they know how tough it is on him and they don’t wanna make him feel worse

They try to make him some soup, or at least some broth and it sits pretty okay. He can’t hold down more than broth but Steve tells them it’s progress because he “couldn’t hold down the chocolate cake earlier” and they’re both like “bro what”

(Steve does not know how to care for people and it takes him a bit but he’ll try as hard as he can for Soda)

Steve stays at their house that night because he knows if he goes home he’s probably just gonna get kicked out again but he’s more than happy to stay

Darry gives the best belly rubs I think because his hands are big and warm

Pony tries rubbing his back too which actually works fairly well

Pony insists on sleeping on Darry’s other side tho because god forbid he starts kicking in his sleep and he kicks Soda he’s never forgive himself

Pony isn’t as openly affectionate with Steve around but he’s still trying

They all end up falling asleep together and Soda’s smiling for the first time that day because he’s with his best friend and his two brothers who have been getting along a lot better than normal and he’s just so happy

ok so.

he hates coffee, but marking and juggling all his work means it's often the only thing keeping him awake, and my man, he likes to take his coffee with enough cream and sugar to kill a small child. for energy, of course.

he likes to sleep. will commit murder if someone disturbs him.

actually likes marking. something about shitting on teenagers calm him down.

sometimes, he'll take out his old essays and go thru them with red ink. no teenager is as fun to shit on as yourself. except perhaps potter.

pan ace. am not accepting arguments

had sex for the first in the early days after graduation and initiation into the death eaters. hated it. very much.

his relationship with his parents is a toxic one in that there IS some level of care there, but Tobias is too much of a depressed 30 something man to be a good father and Eileen was too much of a proud hag to be a good mother, and Severus was too much like them to be able to deal with their shit.

a huge part of why he used the mental arts so much was cuz he couldn't handle his emotions easily for the longest time, and would burst at the smallest thing. this was the trait that made him such a good target for bullying. the one trait he could never quite get rid of- just hide, under steel walls and scars that opened far too easily.

after lily died, he occluded to the point of magical exhaustion and ended up collapsing. wrecked his body to the point of him not being able to move for months. this was one of the first, and only things he learned to be kind to himself for, and relaxed with his occlumency shields as much as he could. and then voldy returned, and. well.

he is the Slytherin house's hero. not that he understands why. something about the whole, evil, dark, vampire aesthetic was very appealing ya see.

my man wears heels to look taller. not accepting arguments

his whole outfit was carefully planned. 20s Snape had FUN, I tell you. My man spent YEARS cultivating his whole vibe, from the expressions, to the poetry, to the ROBES- perfection, perfection. have you any idea how much he argued with tailors that, no, he actually didn't give a fuck if the robe he wanted was too tight for pockets. what the actual FUCK do you mean.

the buttons have so much history

his eye colour is actually just. gray, but like my man likes the whole vibe of ✨ obsidian ✨ more so. makes sure to stay around dimly lit areas for maximum effect.

he did actually go to school before hogwarts, but like he couldn't control his magic, so my man would bust the lights and flood the bathrooms and make the chairs hit the teachers he didn't like. The AMOUNT of confounding Eileen had to do to distract the town from their magic- worthy of a book series on its own.

Honestly I think alasr!XL hasn't really had exposure to the fact that, yeah, HC is a calamity and uses his power how he wants and also doesn't like everyone that XL likes. I crave conflict and I finally get to write itttttt 💖💖💖

TWoF: This whole fic is gonna be solely HC POV. Next chapter is gonna pose a lot more questions than answers, cause it's only chapter 3, but it'll give a lot more context about the life that this au's HC is living. (Honestly, I'm enjoying that this HC has such a chip on his shoulder lol, speculating on how his personality and worldview would be if he hadn't met Xie Lian early on.) This fic is...not gonna have the kind of fluff alasr has lol. But it will end happy!!

I also have an MDZS fic that I posted one chapter of and then dropped on hiatus 😬 Really wanting to get back to that one soon but the amount of research I realized I'd need to do to write it in a way that satisfies me is sort of paralyzing 😅 I either have to do yet more reading or lower my writing standards, so, I'm reading lmao. But TGCF is as long as it is, so it's taking a while to finish rereading it, and THEN I can read this collection of material on the entire history of China I've gathered. Sadly, despite best efforts, I'm an extremely slow reader 😣
