CAL GABRIEL. HEADCANONS || ZERO DAY
Tumblr media
cal gabriel as a boyfriend // a lil angst? // tw sh mention // gn!reader // headcanons
cal gabriel, who knows how to make himself likable. he’d be sweet, funny, maybe even a bit awkward and shy at times, but only to the extent that it benefits him. he’s not emotionally invested in the same way most people are—he’s more interested in the idea of having someone who adores him… and that “someone” happens to be you.
cal gabriel, who would share enough personal details to seem open, but he’d avoid anything too deep. if you tried to dig into his thoughts or true feelings, he’d quickly brush them off with a self-deprecating joke or change the subject.
cal gabriel, who, no matter how much he likes you, andre will always come first. he’d cancel dates or disappear without much of an explanation if andre needs him. he won’t apologise either—it’s just how it is.
cal gabriel, who would swing between affectionate and distant. one day, he’d be laying his head in your lap, even allowing you to ruffle his hair; the next, he’d barely respond to your texts or act distracted.
cal gabriel, who wouldn’t view your relationship as something permanent. he’s too focused on zero day and doesn’t plan to be around long enough to see where the relationship could possibly go.
cal gabriel, whose younger siblings simply adore you. maddie and eric see you as an honorary family member and get super hyped every time you come over.
cal gabriel, who uses play-wrestling as an excuse to get close to you, pinning you down and laughing at your attempts to fight back.
cal gabriel, who tries to show off by playing sitar for you, fingers moving effortlessly over the strings as he plays a riff that’s surprisingly good.
cal gabriel, who teaches you a few basic chords, leaning in close to adjust your fingers on the strings.
cal gabriel, who rolls his eyes when you straighten his coat collar or tuck his hair behind his ear, pretending to be annoyed while secretly enjoying the attention.
cal gabriel, who mutters “quit babying me,” when you nag him about missing meals, but still eats whatever you give him without complaint.
cal gabriel, who has something small of yours that he keeps stuffed on his pocket—a bracelet, a hair tie, or even a note you scribbled for him in class. all of these ended up in the fire.
cal gabriel, who likes to carve your initials on random surfaces around school—lockers, desks, and even the bathroom wall. but his favourite canvas was his own skin—hidden from everyone but him.
cal gabriel, who has perpetually cold hands and always slides them under your sweater or onto your neck just to hear you yelp, laughing while you smack him away.
cal gabriel, who loves it when you grab his freezing hands and hold them between yours, rubbing warmth back into his icy-ass fingers while he mumbles, “they’re not that cold” (even though they are).
cal gabriel, who sometimes doesn’t let go of your hands even after they’ve warmed up, his fingers staying intertwined with yours.
cal gabriel, who freezes for a moment when you ask him about graduation and college, his usual smirk faltering before he quickly deflects: “college? i dunno, maybe i’ll take a year off.”
cal gabriel, who avoids your gaze when you press him about the future, running a hand through his hair and mumbling, “i don’t think that far ahead,”
cal gabriel, who is sweeter than usual in the days leading up to zero day. he’s always been sweet to you, but now there’s a weird sense of urgency to it—like he’s trying to cram a lifetime of memories into just a few days. he takes you out to see a random movie “bridget jones’s diary,” you don’t even remember half of it because you guys spent most of the time making out in the back row.
cal gabriel, who presses his forehead to yours after breaking the kiss, his breathing uneven when you ask him if he’s okay, whispering a soft “yeah” before pulling you back in, like he doesn’t want to talk about it.
cal gabriel, who filmed a tape just for you, apologising to you and explaining everything he couldn’t in person. it ended with a quiet, “i love you.” but the tape doesn’t not end up in the deposit box, and as cal and andre burned their belongings, he throws it into the fire, thinking it wasn’t fair to put you through that pain.
that’s all i can come up with for now :p

Mouthwashing family headcanons!!! because im mentally insane about them:
Daisuke: was an only child, his parents had him later in life and he's a rainbow baby. They love him deeply, but are worried about him not doing anything in life. He wants them to be proud of him so he's trying, but he'd really rather not be at this internship. He finds out his Mom got him it after an argument, she drops it on him and tells him he has to do it. He hates that he left home with that being their last conversation, as he refused to talk to her until he left as protest. Months later he's gotten over it and recognizes what she was doing for him. His father is kind of the buffer between him and his Mom during this, as well as in general since Daisuke's mother is the one who scolds him the most.
Anya: had a little sister, their parents were pretty emotionally distant, serious people who were both in business. They were busy a lot of the time which meant Anya took care of her little sister most of the time. She lives in an apartment with a roommate and their two cats when on earth, though her roommate is used to her being gone most of the time so she only has Anya pay half rent. She still talks to her little sister when home, the two of them meeting up and getting coffee when shes off work, but she's cut off her parents almost completely.
Swansea: had two brothers, both younger. His father was a hardened guy and wasn't around much, so Swansea took care of his little brothers and helped out his mom best he could. He gets married to his wife after meeting her at an AA meeting, they have three kids, two daughters and a son, their oldest the son and daughter (twins) and their youngest being their daughter. They have a family dog and two cats (his youngest daughter begged for them, Swansea hates the idea at first but warmed up to it) All three are grown by the time he's on the Tulpar for the last time, he's surprisingly an attentive and quite loving father, though he's a bit emotionally stunted. His youngest daughter comes out to him as a lesbian and admits to being afraid of his reaction, and that's the only time he's ever cried in front of her. He loves his family but is very bad at expressing it, as he's not well mentally.
Curly: middle child of three with a younger sister and older brother. His dad left when he was around six, and so his mom raised him and his siblings on her own. He was a fairly quiet kid compared to his siblings, his brother and sister were more high maintenance, with his brother having rebellious mental problems and had constant arguments with their mom, and his little sister was constantly ill as a little kid. He was the kid his mom could 'rely on' and be assured he was fine, he was considered the 'easy kid' though he really wasn't fine. He still calls his mother and visits his siblings all the time, his brother having gotten married and had a daughter, and his sister having a good job. His niece adores him because he always lets her do makeup on him at Christmas.
Jumbotron: an only child with an abusive alcoholic father, and a mother who wasn't very attentive. Though his father was abusive he idolized him a lot as a child and hated his mom more, thinking his father beating her was deserved, and when it happened to him he also deserved it. He took a lot of the rhetoric his father passed down onto him to heart, shitty things like how women should stay in their place. I'd say he's the definition of the abused become the abuser. He would stay at Curly's house as a kid to avoid home, and was kinda considered an honorary member of their family. He also visits for Christmas along with Curly, though he'd gotten the impression Curly's sister hates him. (She can see his manipulative behavior from a 100 miles away, and is pretty protective over her brother, also is uncomfortable around him.) His mother and father are both dead by the time he has the job with Pony Express.

do NOT kill Tim
stop being mean to tim in your fics when Bruce is right there to be mean to
let Tim run off and get into shenanigans with his friends while Gotham burns
maybe give tim amnesia and somehow gets reported as dead on a yj mission and his friends help him recover and accidentally on purpose don't mention anything about Gotham except Cass who is his sister and their friend so she's allowed and she sees Tim happy for the first time in so long that she goes along with letting Tim remember, or not, in his own time
and maybe he does remember, when they're in space and too far from Gotham for Tim to immediately rush back and try to fix things because fixing things, trying to help, has always been his first impulse, and he's convinced to wait, to see if anyone tries reaching out to him instead
and he becomes resigned as only cass reaches out, as the rest of the bats just accept that he's dead, without even a body, with just one line in a mission report, a mission report that they didn't even read, the bat computer just noted key words and updated red robin's profile accordingly in its system and no one noticed until someone mentioned that red robin had no patrol routes assigned for awhile and then the profile is brought up
and in the meantime space shenanigans for yj, including the retired ones, and cass who wants her brother to be happy
I mean... you're 100% fair in that I should emotionally beat up Bruce instead in my fics. I do have one where Tim leaves the Bats/Gotham. He has a goodbye conversation with Dick, Jason, and Damian, tries to have one with Bruce, and leaves a video/note for Alfred and Babs. I'd love to chat more about what he does afterwards if anyone wants to know more.
So... I have one fic where he leaves the Bats. There :)
As far as the rest of your ask, I'm so vibing with the amnesia. Let Tim get into wild adventures with his friends (family) and have Cass stop by to say hello. Maybe Tim goes to see her a bunch since he's no longer stuck in Gotham (if Cass is still based in Hong Kong).
I also absolutely love the idea where he gets his memories back in space and spends the entire trip back to Earth processing his thoughts. Should he go back? It's all he's known, but should he try to help out the Waynes some more? Tim is still doing good. He's still helping people. He's just no longer helping specifically Gotham and the Bats.
The part where the Bats don't notice he's dead is cruel and so delicious. Very tasty angst.
I'd also kill for Cass's POV in this (maybe a few chapters), where she discovers Tim is amnesiac, starts to realize the other Bats don't notice or seem to care about Tim (it's hard to understand the way you or a family member is being treated is wrong if that's "normal"), has her own growth and realizations about the Bats, and has complicated feelings about loving the people who are usually good to her but usually bad to Tim (in this AU).
I don't know as much about Cass's canon, but I would be interested to hear more about how her canon could or could not apply to this.
Then let the Bats have a meltdown that Tim is "dead" including their own warped perceptions of how they DO care/love Tim. Maybe they blame Tim for being distant, blame themselves, and try to hunt down who killed Tim. Let them remember certain interactions with Tim that RR remembers differently. Let the Bats be grey in their relationship with Tim because they never did mean to hurt him [they never realized that they did].
Just fun complexities of dysfunctional families :)
Moving on, let Tim be free from the Bats as they all collapse and chat about him. He can have his space adventures far from the chaos as they implode (perhaps the Bats try to take Gotham with them, and the JL has to get involved).

Do Not Enter is written on the Doorway
(A/N): A personal thank you to @foreveralbon for reading over certain parts and give feedback and ideas
Summary: Max helps his girlfriend through her anticipatory grief
Warnings: Talking about the future death of a family member, this is sad, but Max is the greatest comforter
Wordcount: 2.3k
🏎Masterlist🏎 ______________________________
Some news gives you this warm feeling in your stomach that slowly spreads over your chest and into your head and extremities. You smile, your brain barely able to keep up with the immense joy you feel. It’s like you could hug the whole world at once, this feeling giving you superpowers beyond imagination. That immense excitement, that’s a feeling you never want to lose.
This is what good news gives you.
But nobody talks about the stabbing pain you get in your heart upon receiving bad news. The sudden 100 pounds heavy weight settling into your stomach. The coldness you feel in your hands and feet never are mentioned. The spinning in your head, having to realize that after hearing what you have been just told, nothing will ever be the same.
You immediately wish to be the person you were moments ago, before your brain chemistry has been changed forever. Nothing is better than being in that beautiful bliss of unsuspectingness. But you can’t go back, you only get to mimic being that person in the first few moments after waking up, before the memory sets back in. The damage has been irreversibly done.
This feeling after receiving bad news is the one (Y/N) has been most familiar with during the last couple of weeks. One of her close family members is terminally ill and they are in a state where their symptoms are only managed after being taken into hospice care almost immediately upon receiving the diagnosis. They will be sick for the rest of their life expectancy.
For her, it’s like jumping through burning hoops with a broken leg every day ever since. She wants to be a good daughter to her mother, who relies on her for support. (Y/N) wants to be the good family member she usually is, spending as much time with them as possible.
But she also wants to be a good girlfriend to her Max. She wants to be with him at every race, cheer for his successes and support him through his losses.
Being all that and staying on top of her own feelings, that is not doable.
Max sees it. He sees the circles under her eyes grow. He sees the hunch in her back, yet the tension in her shoulder. He can’t remember the last time she smiled at him with those smiles that take his breath away and make him feel warm and fuzzy inside. Max misses her laugh, always sounding like music to her.
He sees it all, but feels helpless. Powerless. Something he swore to himself to never be again. This ever so disabling feeling, making your limbs heavy and your heart sink every time you think about it. And your brain never stops thinking about it. It’s going over and over again about the situation, trying to find an angle where he can finally get through to her. But everything he tries feels for naught.
In the moments where he hears her cry in the middle of the night, thinking Max is soundly asleep without a single worry, he is thankful to never have to experience what his girlfriend is currently going through. So he tries to make it better, even if it is just coming from a distant place, since she doesn’t let him close, neither emotionally nor physically.
During nights spent crying, Max turns around to her and hugs her closely to his chest, acting like he just needs his partner cuddled to him in his sleep. He takes over all the household chores, claiming “Oh, I just saw that we needed to wash a few clothes” or “I had some downtime, so I tried to make myself useful” not wanting to shame (Y/N) for lacking.
Because if your head is full of emotions, there is no strength left to do physical things. Max knows that out of personal experience, from a life where you are constantly under extreme pressure.
Still, he tries to get through to (Y/N), missing the person he fell in love with. “Hey, I thought about going out for dinner tonight? Just you and me at your favorite place with that dress you love so much?” Max asks her as she puts her shoes on to run off to work. He is hopeful, it’s an offer she never has said no to. On the contrary, he kind of expects her to let the second shoe in her hand fall to the ground to put her arms around his neck and thank him over and over again.
But to his shock, she does no such things. The young woman puts the other shoe on and shakes her head. “I don’t feel like going out at the moment. I will stay late at the hospice anyway after work, the doctor said that-” Her voice cracks. Max steps towards her, but she waves him off. “We don’t have much time left. And I want to take the time to prepare for, you know, it.”
Max nods, even though he does not understand her point. Not yet at least.
(Y/N) presses a quick kiss to his cheek before exiting the house in what seems like a great rush. She leaves a flabbergasted dutchman behind.
This was the first kiss he hasn’t initiated for several weeks now (22 days to be exact, although who's counting?). But the subject of preparing for someone’s death still doesn’t let him go. Not when he feeds the cats and cleans the kitchen. Not when he trains for the upcoming race on the simulator and in the gym.
The thought of trying to prepare for the inevitable is unfathomable to him. Isn’t the fear of getting stuck in your head greater than missing the current moment with that person?
His mind still circulates around this topic when he unfreezes some pre-made meals that are with his diet and to (Y/N)’s taste. He knows not to warm hers up already, he made that mistake quite a few times, just for the food to turn cold while it is waiting to be consumed by her.
Their habit of eating all to most meals together diminished to one dinner once every other week. That’s something else he misses. Just spending quality time with his partner. Still, he does not want to be demanding towards her. He is understanding of her situation and knows that it won’t be like this forever.
He already sits at his computer set up, playing a few rounds of a game to calm down before going to bed when (Y/N) enters their quarters. Max immediately greets her, clocking in the exhaustion in her face. “Hey, welcome back!” He softly says. “I’ll heat up your dinner. You can take a shower or a bath. Or sit down in the living room and put a show on. I’ll bring you your food.”
But (Y/N) just stares at him. He halts in his tracks, waiting for her answer. But he never gets one. Instead, his girlfriend bursts out in tears, sobs and snot.
Quickly Max gathers her in his arms, gently rocking her while drawing circles on her back with his fingers. He tries to maneuver them onto the couch in the living room, getting her sat in his lap with her legs straddling his thighs.
Now, to say the Dutchman is shocked by that outburst would be a lie. He has seen how much (Y/N) ran herself into the ground. It was just a question of time when all of the built up emotions found their way out. Between wanting to be the perfect daughter and the perfect family member, she forgot to be her imperfect self.
Yet, Max hasn’t expected today to be the day. Today has been so unassuming. There were no visible signs during their morning that could have prepared Max for the breakdown.
Not that he needed to prepare in the first place. Max has every tool he needs for this exact situation in close proximity. He throws a heavy blanket over them and hands (Y/N) a stuffie that coincidentally found its home permanently on that couch a few weeks ago. The plush lion itself is weighted with beans, being a nice pressure on her chest.
He continues to rock them back and forth and murmurs sweet things into her ears. His hands draw soothing circles and other shapes on her back. At one point he starts to trace letters.
“I love you too”, (Y/N) mumbles into his hair, her voice still tear stricken. “I love you so much, I can’t imagine a world without you or your support or your love or your… everything.” Max tightens his hold on her. She knows how to interpret that one. It’s his non-verbal way of saying how much she means to him.
They sit there for several more minutes in silence with Max listening to her breathing evening out. “Do you want some tea? I stocked up on your favorites. I can heat up your dinner during that.” The young woman nods yes, sliding off his lap and cuddles into the corner of the couch.
Max quickly puts the tv on, leaving on some random show to stop the eerie silence and quieten down the thought spiral in (Y/N)’s head.
He tries to be as fast as possible, until his phone rings. His girlfriend sent him a message, asking if they can share that frozen meal. Max’s heart clenches, realizing they finally have another dinner together. Of course, he obeys her wish and brings two forks along with two mugs on a tablet to the living room.
“Here is the food and drinks and I got some of your favorite chocolate earlier”, he says in a soft voice. (Y/N) smiles, his thoughtfulness is enough to change her mood.
In unity they share the meal and catch up over peas and carrots. With mugs in their hands they cuddle close to each other and pay attention to the movie that’s playing as soon as the food is gone.
“I’m scared to lose them. But I am even more scared to forget to cherish the time we still have together.” (Y/N) starts speaking into the dimmed room. Max looks down to her, showing his girlfriend has 100 % of his attention.
“You know, it hurts to see them hurting. And I know they will only get worse, which is weird to know. I am already hurting from an event that hasn’t even taken place. We also know that they will die soon. And I am already grieving them. I sit in the same room with them, talk and laugh and think ‘this will not be possible very soon’ and it is so… fucked up. Because I don’t want to think about this, they are still here. But I already miss them. I miss the old version of them, I will miss the current version of them and I’m dreading their future version. And I am hurting all the time and I kind of don’t want to see them, because how they are right now is the way I want to remember them. I feel selfish, because it’s all just about me meanwhile they are literally dying under our hands.”
Max realizes three important points at this moment.
He is very lucky to have never lived through her situation, watching a loved one dying. This must be another kind of hell on earth that he does not wish upon his greatest enemy. Seeing how his girlfriend, who is the strongest person he knows, struggles to the point of a mental breakdown, shows Max that he would not be able to live through these circumstances the way she does.
(Y/N) is under too much pressure, trying to be a good family member, a helpful co worker and an attentive girlfriend. He feels like he failed her by elevating more of that pressure, making her take some time off from work and reassure (Y/N) that he can support them financially as long as she wants him to, so she can spend more time with her family.
He voices his third conclusion out loud. “Several emotions and feelings can be true at once. You can be thankful for the time you got left and still feel bad about their current condition. You’re allowed not wanting to see them to protect yourself. Sometimes, being selfish sounds like the worst thing you could do to outsiders, but the best decision for yourself. It’s up to you entirely. Don’t feel bad for your anticipatory grief, it is normal. Your brain wants to prepare itself for the end.
And no matter what you will do or where you are going, I’m always at your side and support all your decisions. In this house we support (Y/N)’s rights and wrongs.”
Her laugh makes Max’s heart lighter. He knows the upcoming weeks and months will not be easier than the previous ones. But he is aware that they will get through it together.
“Will you read to me?” (Y/N) looks at him with her puppy dog eyes, something they both know he can’t resist. “Ok”, he says after letting out a sigh, ”Get your Faye smut book. But only because you had a hard day. Next time, you will read to me ‘how to build a car’.”
Before Max even ends his sentence, (Y/N) launches herself from the couch and runs to get her book from her bedside table.
After an evening like this, none of them wants to have it any other way.

AAAAA okay, so I saw that your requests are open... (this is my first time requesting anything so im a bit nervous)
about your post with the lante x grandkid!reader, IT WAS SO GOOD, and yes, i totally understand the family's shock about lante doting on his grandkid. this is the same man who established that familial love is unnecessary, was it not?
we got lante's perspective of his grandkid... but what about the other family members? will they like the grandkid as well? or will they be indifferent / dislike them?
(this is a bit wordy im sorry ☠️)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
how would the agriche family react to grandchild!reader being doted on by lant agriche? / headcanons, death, typical things you'd expect from a fic that's about the agriche family, gn!reader.
Tumblr media
THE agriche's reactions are mixed, honestly, and they thought that dion having a child was enough of a shock, so to have grandchild!reader being doted on by the lante agriche would mean that the usual "balance" (or what was left of it) in the family would no doubt be thrown out the window.
there would most likely be more hatred and indifference than adoration when it comes to the grandchild, especially once they start taking on some of lante's traits as well, but some of the only people that i could see liking the grandchild no matter what would honestly be maria and sierra, as they most likely took on the role of a maternal figure in the grandkid's life since their mother died while giving birth.
roxana, as obvious as it is, would most likely resent the reader because of how doting lante is when it comes to them, especially since not only did they automatically gain lante's favor, but they also are the child of dion, her brother's murderer. however, she might open up to the reader and eventually get along with them if the reader doesn't exactly idolize the agriche head because of his actions, hell, she might even use the reader against lante.
jeremy's neutral when it comes to the grandchild, honestly, he probably never personally met the child more than twice on his own volition, since he would rather cling to his half sister than interact with some snotty baby. but there is a chance that he would have more encounters with the grandchild once they're around four to seven years old.
grizelda.. it's hard to say on whether or not she likes the kid, really, but the grandchild would most likely idolize her, and grizelda is at least a bit kinder at first when it comes to the kid, so the two of them would possibly be close, with the grandchild seeking out the older woman's attention or help.
however, charlotte hates you without any doubt. charlotte doesn't like you because of how easily you get lante's favor and attention, causing her to usually harass you without lante usually knowing, but she does bite back her tongue whenever there are other people present, however, she mellows out when she's older, and there's a slight chance for her to apologize! but don't get your hopes up, because she's stubborn as hell.
fontaine despises you, as you were not only lante's favorite in th family, but also because your birth reinforced dion's position on the top three candidates for being the future head of the agriche dukedom. hell, he isn't even above trying to get you killed, since all is fair in this household that didn't have any morals, no?
dion, your father, was indifferent towards you, he didn't really care for your mother, either, since it was an arranged marriage orchestrated by lante himself for his own benefit. sure, he may have taken care of you in his free time, but his emotional baggage and childhood trauma definitely wouldn't have made him a good father, most likely being emotionally neglectful, even if he sometimes doesn't mean to be distant.

Helloooo :)
I have a deep question, I think
I'm new in the Fandom, so hello. But I recently discovered that noah doesn't have any blood family anymore.i think.
Which makes me really sad.
Because, even though family can be an ass, for me, they've helped me go through a lot of tough times, and I'm very grateful for them.
I've seen that he used to live with ruffilo and I assume they are like family and Nick's family is Noah's family too, now at least. And he also has the boys he lives with and his band mates who probably support him in every way he needs.
But my question to you is: do you think, when he gets a girlfriend ( that he pictures his future with, marry and blah blah) he'll be emotionally dependent on her? Because in a way, and on his head, she'll be his only family....
I feel like he had to become super tough and strong emotionally because he had to grew up super fast and for the family members he lost, and he had to also protect his heart from the outside world.
But do you think once he gets that girlfriend, he'd become more "free" and dependent emotionally on her? More vulnerable for sure ( they'd be dating after all ahaha) but more care free, put his whole trust and heart on her hands ?
Sorry for the deep feelings ,so heavy I know ahahaha
But yeah, bye now, love your blog :)
So for starters welcome!!!! I hope you have fun here and don’t be shy to ask questions! I love deep convos! Again welcome!
So no, it tends to be very private about his life so I did to learn some information when I was new to phantom and how he kind of doesn’t have any blood related family at least that we know of, but he would still rather have that kept private and kind of separated from the fandom so I like “Stopped trying to find out more about him”
But I believe in some interviews he has said that he’s going to therapy to help deal with his emotions more so I think personally that he tends to be a little emotionally distant due to his past, and what he has been through, but in a way, I think he will have some kind of attachment to whoever he is with in some way shape or form. There should be other people on here that know more than me since I got into them around last August or so. Kinda looking for information and kind of just focused on whatever he from his own mouth because it’s coming from him you know what I mean

Nika + family members headcanons
Tumblr media
↑Some notes and my HCs about Nika & Her family's appearance I drew/wrote back in 2022
-Grandfather
Regret about his past.
Doted on both granddaughters and called them "sweetie /sweetheart".
With his wife, don't weird out and scared by Nika's obsession with death, and indulge her behavior (they think Nika is just curious and feisty).
Bedridden when Nika was around 7-8 years old, rarely interacted with her since then. Especially when he needs to be at the hospital to monitor his health often.
Over time Nika grew more distant from her grandfather, only having some vague memory of the moments they had spent together.
Use to patch up Nika's destroyed plushies and toys.
-Grandmother
Having natural dark Hair.
Doted on granddaughters and called them "sweetie /sweetheart" the same as her husband, and called Nika "My little victory", Mila "My dearest" (sometimes their mom called them that too)
Passed away when Nika was 7 years old (Mila around age 9-10).
Nika has good memories of her but it's becoming vague as she grew up.
Loves to gifted candies and homemade sweets to granddaughters.
Both girls got the dark hair atavistic inheritance from their grandmother, and Nika had inherited some of the facial features as well.
-Elder sister: Mila (hc age- 2~3 years older than Nika)
Think Nika is annoying and attention-seeking most of the time.
Disgust by Nika's obsession with death since they were little. Blame her little sister's obsession with death for the reason that attracts/brings bad luck into the house (their grandparents dying).
Often verbally belittle/disapprove of Nika and her behaviors.
Exclude Nika when she is playing with her friends (her friends don't like Nika too).
Give up her toys to Nika to make her less pestering but failed.
Looks more like her father and mother.
Worried about things and gets anxious easily like her mother.
Emotionally affected by things, incidents, and surroundings more easily than Nika (cried when grandpa died, "She was always a bit more on the… soft side. Naive"-Nika's description of Mila in Batman & Robin 2023 #7).
Getting frustrated with how their mother would change the house rules to fit Nika's needs.
Prideful and hard work in her school studies, likes to gain approval from her parents and seniors elders.
Try to be a responsible big sister (oftentimes depending on her mood and situation).
Like to sing and go to the choir with Nika. Because they both get praised a lot for being earnest and good singers.
Really upset about losing her grandparents.
Terrified of the idea of not living/being not existing. Like to know her importance in living.
(She may have connected with death like Nika but is actually repressed/terrified by it, and seeing Nika so obsessed with it makes Mila feel really repulsive thus taking it out on Nika, making death associated with her little sister more instead of herself.)
-Nika
Tried to share her interests with her sister but always got rejected (aside from music-related topics).
She is resilient about it (sharing her obsession with death to her sister) for a long period of her childhood.
Love to "kill" her plushies and toys, then learn to patch them up by herself after grandpa is not in the house to do it for her anymore.
Later on realized her sister's distaste towards her, and her parents' disagreements about her. She was becoming closed off and less responsive to her family, and taking more interest in drawing to distract herself.
Keeping herself busy with the things she likes (hobbies— death theme, drawing, singing) to avoid/suppress negative emotions in life.
Feeling the pressure the grandfather's hospital condition has put on the family, sometimes thinking he's better off dead (peacefully).
Despite her obsession with death, she doesn't like the idea of suicide. She may have some suicidal thoughts or fake imagined scenarios but never commits them, because that's not what she wants her life and death to be (passive suicidal ideation). These hidden passive thoughts change greatly after meeting Damian on Lazarus Island.
Looks more like her grandmother and her mother, and looks really similar to Mila when she was little.
-Father
Most of the day is at work, rarely at home.
Think Nika is nothing but a troubled kid, unlike his good-manner elder daughter.
Often at the hospital take care of his father, and let his wife take charge of the kids.
Impact by his mother's passing, and later his father's condition. His mood is not very stable.
The source of living income of the household. Manage all the finances in the house and inheritance of his parent's property (under a lot of financial stress).
-Mother
Housewife, spends a lot of time with her children.
Love to nurture her garden and teach the plants and flowers knowledge to Nika who is interested in making her little playground graveyard in the yard pretty.
Worried about Nika's obsession with death and scared for Nika as the obsession progresses as she grows up.
Setting the house rules for the girls, so it would be fair and easy to discipline them. But it's really difficult with Nika, because she is more "adventurous" compared to the elder daughter.
Struggling to get Mila and Nika to make peace/behave toward each other, and it gets worse as the two sisters grow older(her husband is not helping by favoring Mila more).
Need to do some part-time jobs in later years to support the family and father-in-law's hospital bills.

We all know that Daisy and Daniel work because while Daniel’s chivalrous attitude is exactly what Daisy needs.
Daisy is strong, independent, and single-minded. She will stop at nothing to do what she thinks is right. Daniel shares this quality with her, but Daisy is more of an action hero, whereas Daniel is a more of a martyr(Daisy sacrificing herself in 7x13 vs Daniel dying in the original SHIELD timeline). Someone like Daisy needs someone who they can depend on when the fight is over, when their turn to be the hero is over. Daniel is wired to do exactly this: he’s chivalrous, loyal, and steadfast. Daniel can be Daisy’s “someone” that she comes home to and who can not only tend to her, but empathize with her cause. He won’t see her “running at brick walls” as futile or wayward, he gets why she fights and he feels the same passion she does for doing what’s right.
But Daisy and Daniel also work because Daisy is someone Daniel can depend on.
Daniel is also an independent, somewhat lonely character. In Agent Carter the narrative is that Daniel is not lonely by choice, but because he is ostracized due to his disability. This much is true, but Daniel is also emotionally distant from even Peggy at times. He sees his feelings for Peggy as a dead end, so he pours himself into his work, hoping to squash his true desire.
(His desire to help others is commendable, but sometimes it feels suffocating to Peggy’s character, because she needs more of a partner in crime(action) and less of a partner in ideals(what drives one to fight and why they fight for what they do). While I think peggysous may have been a good ship, I don’t know if I ultimately saw Daniel and Peggy ending up together. There is absolutely a timeline where Daniel is Peggy’s husband, but we’re gonna leave a pin in that one and return to why Daisy is so good for Daniel).
Daisy can give Daniel emotional stability. By season 7, Daisy has a very clear idea of what she wants. Family, a meaningful relationship(her “own Fitz”) and stability in general are on Daisy’s radar. Daniel in season 2 of Agent Carter is completely the opposite of this: proposing to one woman while being in love with another, anyone? By the time we see Daniel again in AOS season 7, it’s been 6 years for him, plenty of time to mature and find out what he really wants. But it’s clear in season 7 that he hasn’t found this. He’s single, entrenched in his work, and even at work, he’s the lonely head of his branch. His desire to be with someone he loves and cares about has not disappeared, but has been put on the back burner.
Then in comes Daisy, who’s attracted to him, forward and shares his desire for stability and romance. I think even despite the scene where Mack says that Daisy might not know herself that she’s interested in Daniel, Daisy gives Daniel clear hints, and she shows sympathy for his and care for his situation that the other team members gloss over. She genuinely feels for him, and tells him as much, that he’s missed out on saying goodbye to his loved ones, that he’s been ripped from his life and brought somewhere completely unfamiliar.
While Daniel and Daisy were, in actuality, a shoe-horned final season last ditch attempt at romance for the lead of AOS, they don’t feel that way. Besides Enver and Chloe’s clear chemistry, the characters work together, in an improbable, underdeveloped way that makes it feel real. Real life romance takes trial and error over and over, figuring out what you want and what you don’t. By this point in their respective arcs, Daisy and Daniel feel like characters who know what they want, and they find it in each other. This allows the audience to feel like their relationship is fated to last, and their ending scene in 7x13 to feel like a satisfying conclusion for both characters.
This is all to say I love them and I’m so grateful for their small but active fan base.

Idk why, but I just really want some Legend and Flora bonding. Like, I subscribe to the 'Legend is related to Fable' theory because that's good angst and also has some hilarious implications about him and Sky, but adding to it, if I can also see it as something that he could connect to Flora over.
Legend is by far the most accomplished and experienced hero in the chain, but also that's juxtapositioned as him being the most defensive and having the most emotionally painful failures. Objectively, the only member of the chain to have lost more than Legend is Wild. But where Wild can trust that the future will be bright even with those losses, through 'Rulie, Legend KNOWS his accomplishments will ultimately lead to the darkest timeline and anything he does to make like better will not last.
On the flip side, Flora has lived a life of sacrifice and duty and has suffered more than any other Zelda has. Her life 100 years ago was full of shame, disappointment, and the pressure of the upcoming apocalypse and knowledge everyone is counting on her. She felt useless and like a failure, and ultimately, while she stopped the calamity, it came at a heavy cost, and she lost her friends and family. All she had left of that time was Wild, who remembered nothing, and the Sheikah, most of whom knew her personally, were already elderly. And then there's the sacrifices she made in TOTK.
I just would like for someone to address that if Legend is Sky's decendant, then that means he is a distant relative to Flora and how both of them have lived such different yet tragic lives and bond over it because you can bet Flora has some resentment with Hylia and Legend is canonically bitter over being dragged to so many adventures.
Hmm, I mean, I too ascribe to the “Legend and Fable are related” theory because I want to see some variety in the nature of the Link & Zelda dynamic across the games, so that’s an interesting set of observations!
I don’t know enough about all the Links to say Legend is the second most tragic one. But his Koholint issue definitely was hard, and clearly still bothers him. He likely has a lot of wounds on his heart from his many adventures! As for BotW Zelda, gosh yes poor girl has had it rough. I’m not sure I’d say she has it the hardest - she’s probably tied with OoT Zelda, honestly. The Adult Timeline one. Like… I could rant about that Zelda a lot. I love her. She’s my favorite. But that’s not the point of this ask so I won’t lol.
You are right that, with that theory, Flora and Legend would be distantly related, which is neat! :D They could no doubt bond over the heartache of their failures, but I feel like Legend would rather try to focus on the positive and how to rebuild. Flora is far more melancholy, he’d probably be the one to try to help raise her spirits on the matter.

Thinking about my Robin AU, the origins of Percy, etc.
I wanted to play around with Percy being an experiment of some of the dark multiverse Batman variants because like, why not yk? I wanna do something different for once. And so I'm thinking maybe he was experimented on. At first he was a normal kid, but after losing his mom the dark knights found him and Barbatos decided Percy would be perfect, being as he was so very similar to Bruce. Percy had everything a kid could want, despite not being rich, despite his shitty step-dad. But he made one kid mistake and now his mom was gone and he was stuck living to his step dad. Until the Dark Knights found him and took him in under the guise of helping him, but they experimented on him instead and turned him into a weapon (Damian vibes, ikr?)
And so he's found, saved from whatever hellhole he was in, and naturally he has no idea how to act. So he studies Bruce Wayne, looks him up, and everything is sort of ranging from fake smiles to crazy ass "drunk" shit.
So naturally, Percy follows that example and after a few years, which is when the story takes place he's become a bit of a party animal and nobody can really stop him. And the only time he isn't taking like that is when he's Robin, which Bruce sort of did as a way to ground him.
Now whenever people think of the "angry" robin, that's basically what Percy is. He's sort of bitter, and has been for a while so he uses Robin as an outlet. That's not saying he isn't nice or kind, he is. Just generally to other members of the Bat fam like Jason or Dick, someone who can sort of understand.
Anyways, Percy is very emotionally driven.
I've been thinking about other characters and I think I want Grover to be his speedster. Grover would be the new speedster chosen by the speed force after the retirement of Barry Allen (I dont read alot of flash comics so apologize if i get some stuff wrong with these super heroes). Grover would be one of the people Percy is actual open with and they're essentially best friends. Percy is there for Grover when he has trouble being a hero (as Grover would be the least experienced) while Grover is there for Percy when he's essentially drinking and partying himself to death and helping him get back on his feet.
Next up we have our Kryptonian, who is apart of a lineage who left Krypton thousands of years prior to the explosion. Their family has been living at the same planet for a while now, but he's bored. He wants to go out and explore what other planets space has to offer and ends up on Earth. Now, I actually have zero idea what character I want to make this because I wanted to make Thalia, Jason, and Reyna amazonians, which Jason being similar to Diana's brother (of the same name funny enough). He wouldn't be fully Kryptonian and would have some distant blood of other alien species from prior to them settling on whatever planet, but no crazy powers besides typical Kryptonian powers for now. So uh comment any ideas you have.
Now the next member is a Martian which would be Frank. I feel like Frank fits this role perfectly ngl. A Frank who's finally completed his training and joins Percy's hero team to prove himself.
Either Thalia or Reyna as the Amazonian, but probably Reyna. I don't know much about the wonder woman comics sadly so I'll have to come up with a backstory later.
Connor Stoll, seeking to break free from the Arrow Family, specificially his older brother, Travis and finding himself, leading him to joining this young superhero team.
And finally Annabeth Chase, who is more of an honorary member rather than anything. I think I want Annabeth to be possibly Batgirl?? I haven't though it out. Maybe she's a legit child of Bruce and was Robin prior to Percy and after the role of Robin became vacant but got seriously injured which led to Bruce essentially firing her.
Annabeth eventually becomes a vigilante in her own right regardless, even despite Bruce trying to keep her away from that life and steps up when Robin vanishes.
Anyways I was thinking about names bcuz there's no way I'm using Teen Titans. Maybe Outcasts (Or is it too similar to the Outlaws??)
I feel like I'm gonna have ALOT of fun with this and I think I'm gonna start writing it rn. Luckily for me I don't have to put alot of elaborate plot into this because its legit comics, but I do want to have some plot in here.
Anyways, coming soon than you think so, be on the lookout.

This is my account so I will information dumpdious about “The Greatest Cule” as I’ve dubbed them, or Wander/Sylvia/Commander Peepers/Lord Hater
Initial anxiety, cuz they’re all nerds:
- Wander is the universal calmer for the group, of course. The most emotionally sensible of the group and also the one who gets walked over the most because of his aptness to help people. Having both a lot and honestly, zero experience when it comes to relationships such as these. He’s a confident looking wreck, still being able to wander about the current galaxy but always wondering if he made the right choice and such. Has a bad habit of keeping his worries to himself, but they can tell. His fur is messier, and he’s doing way too much for the Watchdogs. They dote on him in their own ways but it doesn’t help much, the poor thang looking progressively more sick until they collectively get together and practically kidnap him. Hater being the loudest, most aggressively loving as the furball is forced into a swaddle like break in Hater’s room. They calm down, and eventually get Wander to talk about what’s bothering him. The nomad ended up getting sick, so even though he tried to get back up insistently- he wasn’t allowed to. Hate’s rule. He’d ever felt so, helplessly protected, and loved. Feeling content to sort of stay in one spot, even if just for a moment.
- Commander Peepers would be distant, more logically approaching the situation at first. Being a self appointed nerd, even when he opens himself to the idea of the polycule he’d be a bit logical and stiff for a bit, overthinking things. Becoming even more overbearing and demanding of the watchdogs, and of course it’s noticed quicker than any of the other member’s own overthinking escapades. He falters quite easily, dramatically too. Apparently the commander snores when he’s comfortable. But that’s rumor.
- Sylvia had the least obvious worry, being the only girl in her large family other than her mother. The Zbornak both knew how to hide her feelings of worry and how to handle it, sort of. Feeling only a bit nervous about if she could provide anything to the group, if she could even protect them. Having a hard time sleeping, they noticed. When they initially went to ‘confront’ her, she refused to admit anything was wrong, till she realized they were genuinely concerned for her. With a drawn out sigh, she told them what was on her mind. Beating down on herself, only to be reassured that having been worried was “totally normal I was super nervous too!” “usual for these things, you’ll be alright-” and a long winded but very lovely and kind speech from Wander. She’d never slept better that night, cuddled up with the people she cared the most for.
- Hater never felt more ecstatic. And confused. And, awkward. Had absolutely no idea what to do, or say, he felt nervous being around them. All shaky but like not in the “I’m totally gonna flarpin destroy you” way. He actually..enjoyed the weird stuff they did, kind of. Some of it he didn’t like but they didn’t mind? And, he didn’t yell or nothing. In fact he didn’t say anything. Almost sickly nervous in a weird way. Feeling so, so overwhelmed and being to nervous to tell them why. Going outside, quite literally feeling that energy rush out of his body in an electric shock to destroy the grass beneath him. Before just, breathing. Trying to relax. Feeling upset and angry just for a moment when one by one- they come out curiously when they notice he’s gone. In an already vulnerable state, hoping they didn’t notice the dead grass (they did, but didn’t say anything) he talks eventually. The stars shine brightly that night.

it's so silly that every member of the royal family has their own palace. they gotta use carriages to visit each other. rakiel literally has to cross a bridge to get to theo.
do they get shipped off to a different palace the moment they're born. is there an appropriate age for toddlers to move out and live on their own. do they learn to walk in empty hallways with only servants to pick them up when they fall. how long do you think it takes for a child to stop expecting their father to visit them. do they grow up hearing 'your highness' more often than their own name. how easy is it to go days, weeks, months even without seeing each other when they're miles away from one another. do they know more about their nursemaid's family than about their own. how old do you think they are when they realize most parents see their kids every day and not just a couple times a year. that to most kids their father is just 'dad' or 'papa' and not 'your majesty'. do they stop counting the days in between meetings at some point or were they never frequent enough for them to bother doing it anyway.
it's so silly. but i do have to say. what a fantastic way to show how emotionally distant a family is. they literally have to cross a river to talk to one another.
rakiel blames the inherent rivalry between brothers for their lack of a family bond. i wonder if they even ever had the chance to develop it in the first place.

Thinking about Vox’s relationship with his mom/his parents in general.
Winnie had been an actress all her life. She’d always dreamt of being famous and had some success within her troupe, but never really managed to become known. She had Vox/Vaughn later than most of women of the time, and as he grew, she could feel her chances of success fading away as she grew older. When she began to notice their son’s potential as a performer, she transferred her hopes for herself onto him. If she couldn’t become famous, then she’d make sure her beautiful little boy attained it instead!
Winnifred was a very affectionate mother, at least superficially. She would hold Vaughn when he was little, give him cuddles, and tell him what a perfect, handsome, talented little boy he was. But she was also volatile and neglectful. Whenever Vaughn would be defiant or even just reluctant to do as she said, she’d immediately break out the emotional blackmail. She tried so hard to give him everything he needed to be successful, and now he was throwing it all back in her face! What a lazy, ungrateful child! He must actually hate her! When he was younger, Vaughn would be scared and hurt by his mother’s accusations, apologizing and doing as she said. However, as he grew up, he recognized this manipulation tactic and stopped being emotionally impacted by it (although he usually still obeyed since arguing just wasn’t worth the effort).
Additionally, despite her physical affection, she and her husband had a tendency to leave their young son alone for extended periods of time while they worked or networked with other industry members. When he was little, Vaughn had believed that his parents were just doing what was best for him and was desperate for their praise and approval. By the time of his injury, he knew they only ever saw him as an object.
Winnifred was the more involved parent back when they were touring with the Vaudeville company. She took care of Vaughn while William, her husband, took care of the business side of things. She taught Vaughn everything she knew about the performing arts and held him to the same standards she held herself to. She wasn’t an unkind teacher, but she was incredibly thorough, often making him practice for hours on end until he perfected whatever they were working on that day. Between the hours of rehearsal and the way she always hovered over him whenever they were out, doing all the talking, Vaughn began to feel smothered by her. Of course, that all changed once he got injured.
It was like a switch flipped when it became clear that Vaughn’s stage career was over. His parents, who had once treated him like their golden goose, were suddenly cold and distant. His father was bitterly disappointed they’d invested so much time and money into him for nothing, and was resentful that Vaughn had “chosen” to uproot all three of their careers right as the Great Depression hit. His mother was heartbroken that the stage career she had envisioned for her son (for herself) would no longer be possible and equally bitter about the timing of the accident. Vaughn saw less and less of his parents and eventually grew accustomed to simply not telling them anything, handling everything by himself. On one hand, he was glad to no longer have them ordering him around at all times; on the other, it still hurt, no longer receiving even superficial love from his parents.
Once Vaughn had grown up, his parents regained interest in him again. They were proud of him for going off to college and were delighted when he married a girl from a rich, influential family. Neither of them ever realized that they’d done anything wrong or that their son was just barely tolerating them until he could go off on his own and make something of himself. Winnie in particular believed that their “close relationship” when he was a child would translate into continued affection in adulthood. It did not. Her perfect, adorable little boy grew up into a perfect, handsome man who went off to chase success in a new field that she didn’t understand, and, for some reason, she wasn’t there for any of it. He must’ve been simply too busy with his new career to ever reach out to the two of them. Yes, that must be it.

POST ABOUT MY OC SELFSHIPS
All of my OC selfships are with my partner @ask-the-vargonians' OCs! Vargon is a planet they made, inhabited by vampiric aliens called vargonians. To read more on Vargon, check this link for its history and this one for species info, or just ask me! I'll tell you what I know gladly. This post will go over a few of my OC selfships and they're mainly with vargonians, which is why I link that (also just because I think it's fun).
Several characters on this list are related to each other. Please assume that for any related characters, I ship with them separately. In particular, several are part of the ruling family of Vargon - The Voodry'ant/Woods family. Also the F/Os are all organized alphabetically because I don't want to rank them by favorites it makes me sad
-
THE INSERT: FIONN, a changeling from another planet. They get to Vargon by different means depending on the AU. I'll make another post about them in more detail.
-
ADRIK WOODS: The main character of his story, literally. He's his father's chosen successor, he's a pawn of the gods that he will one day join, he's trying to heal from insane trauma, he's a linguistics nerd, he's an addict, he's beautiful, he's silly, he's just a little kitty. Well, not really that last one, but he's about as close as you get without actually being it. Adrik doesn't know this, but he was created by the gods to eventually replace them when they die. His life until now has been trial after trial after trial, in order to prepare his soul for that transition. Technically he has a twin sibling, but they were separated when they were young and are now estranged. As you can imagine, Adrik is a huge celebrity on Vargon, not only because of his political power but also because of his incredible skill at appealing to the public. He's a social chameleon and he's suffering. One of Vargon's biggest "It" Girls <3 He is soulmates with and eventually married to my OC Delilah, but they're polyam so it's cool. In fact, most Vargonians are polyamorous. SHIP TAG: .bite marks
FITZ MY'TYALA: Ex military pilot forced to retire due to an incredibly tragic accident that left him physically disabled and severely traumatized. He became friends with Adrik and was eventually hired as an employee of the brothel Adrik owns called The Velvet Fang. (Sex is viewed very differently on Vargon, and brothels are common. The VF in particular welcomes a lot of non-vargonian tourists that may not be able to handle the harshness of the rest of the planet. The brothel is ethically run, and everyone working there are incredibly close knit as a "pack," essentially a vargonian chosen family.) Fitz is snarky and laid back, but also incredibly polite and modest by vargonian standards. To a human, though, that still comes off as pretty raunchy. Compared to some other members of the VF, he may seem very normal, but don't let that fool you; he has chosen them to hang out with, after all. SHIP TAG: .mousetrap
JOY WOODS: One of the eldest Woods siblings. Princess of the planet, political powerhouse, faithless head of church secretly leading a revolution against the Shadow Council that has tortured her family and people since she was young. She's a severe workaholic and alcoholic, who dreams of someday living a domestic life with loving partners and many children of her own. In the meantime, though, she's emotionally distant and represses everything. You can't blame her, though - She's raised most of her seventy-something siblings and watched far too many of them meet gruesome ends anyway. Secretly a huge party girl raver, but she never gets the time these days. Lily Woods' twin sister. The two had a bad falling out years ago and have a strained but unbreakable relationship which is mostly antagonistic on the surface, but they couldn't survive without each other. SHIP TAG: .business casual
LILY WOODS: Another of the eldest Woods siblings. While she also handles a lot of political and familial labor, most people know her as a pro skateboarder. She's like if Tony Hawk was an eight-foot-tall, blood-drinking, ripped, stoner bisexual. Lily may present herself as "the irresponsible twin," but she's actually the more emotionally mature one. That doesn't mean she isn't hiding her own traumas behind a mask of humor, of course - Just that she's the one more likely to eventually have a serious conversation about it. She comes off as cool and confident, but actually has terrible self esteem due to always comparing herself to Joy. On Vargon, twins are actually the same soul split in half and put in two bodies by the gods, and Lily feels as though she's the worse half. Obviously, I disagree. SHIP TAG: .the bit

MORCANT ELDRITCH NOTT ・ 25 ・ HE & HIM ・ FC JONAH HAUER KING PUREBLOOD ・ NEUTRAL ・ SLYTHERIN ALUMNI  ・ UNSPEAKABLE SPELL INVENTOR ・ ENCHANTED PORTRAIT ARTIST ・ FIRST OF HIS NAME
✧ WAND: Hornbeam, Hebridean Black heartstring, 11 inches, and unyielding. ✧ PATRONUS: Morcant has never allowed himself to be truly happy, therefore he doesnt have memories strong enough to conjure a patronus. ✧ MIRROR OF ERISED: Morcant's deepest desire is to be loved. His reflection would show a happy and loving version of his family, alongside a partner that he loves -- and who's also approved by his family, because they only want to see him happy. ✧ BOGGART: Morcant sees himself entering the hall of the Nott Manor, but it's abandoned and empty. He's the last one of his lineage and he failed to fulfill his duties with making sure there will be a next generation, and that this generation will have something powertful to grow into. ✧ FAMILIAR AND OTHER PETS: The Nott family has a pack of fully grown, well-trained dogs that keep an eye on the manor and the grounds. The breed is Beauceron, known to be intelligent, calm, gentle, and fearless. Adults are typically suspicious of strangers and are excellent natural guard dogs. It's not uncommon to see them navigating the corridors in the middle of the night, as well as the gardens and other corners. For intruders, that's probably a nightmare, but they're great companions for Morcant. His familiar is a black kneazle called Odin, who's trained to accompany him during Unspeakable missions. His magical afinities allow him to see or feel magical aura, which helps majorly the Nott. Odin goes wherever Morcant goes, a very polite and stern familiar.

Morcant Nott was born on November 8, 1950, under the sign of Scorpio. He is the son of Geraint Nott, a prominent Death Eater and member of the Wizengamot, with Astrid, a successful historian and member of the Pureblood High Society.
His relationship with his parents is strained, emotionally distant, but bound by duty and tradition. His father, the son of Cantakerous Nott (who wrote the Pureblood Directory), inherited both a temperamental nature and purist ideals.
Considering this, he raised Morcant to uphold the family’s motto: ""Strength lies in legacy." For Geraint, the legacy means supporting rigid ideals of blood supremacy and power. However, Morcant disagrees with his father’s political views and believes that legacy means their extensive magical legacy and rich family traditions. He believes that his father is dragging the Nott family through the mud with his outdated and obsessive dedication to pureblood supremacy.
They often have intense disagreements, with Morcant being very clear on his position: he is the rightful heir of the Nott family, and according to the ancient family code, Geraint cannot disinherit a perfectly capable Nott — with the sole exception of squibhood. Morcant refuses to inherit a family in shambles, one destroyed by Geraint’s laziness and obsession with Voldemort’s influence.
The only reason why he and his father still manage to have any form of a relationship is due to Astrid, a level-headed, intelligent witch who serves as a bridge between them. She holds a deep understanding of both men, and while she aligns more with Geraint’s traditionalism, she’s not afraid to call him out when he’s being impractical or unreasonable.
Morcant has always had her support when it comes to his ambition to change the direction of the family, and she’s been a calming influence, although not without her own reservations. Astrid sees the potential in Morcant but is keenly aware of the danger his rebellion against his father poses.
She believes in the importance of tradition, yet she also sees the flaws in Geraint’s increasingly obsessive nature. To her, Morcant is a reminder of what the Nott family could be — a fresh start, though she fears the cost of his defiance. She is pragmatic and often shields Morcant from her husband’s more intense moments of frustration.
Her approach to the family dynamics has always been about maintaining a careful balance, ensuring that Morcant doesn’t lose sight of his own potential while also mitigating the fallout from Geraint’s uncontrollable temper. Astrid understands the coldness inherent in their family, but she remains emotionally detached, never fully siding with either Geraint’s ideology or Morcant’s ambition.
In many ways, she’s both the glue and the anchor — but Morcant knows, despite her love for him, her loyalty ultimately lies with the family legacy, as it has for generations. The family relationship is cold and distant, but that's what is expected from a pureblood family — emotions are kept aside, they’re not relevant.

Skills and Talents:
Master in Charms: he received the title recently, his thesis was about the role of binding magic in prophecies. He argued that binding magic isn't used only from one wix to another, but from magic itself to a wix. Therefore, magic bound the wix to a destiny using prophecies. This thesis was so sucessful, that he got an invitation to work in the Hall of Prophecies, as an Unspeakable in the Department of Mysteries.
Divination: he's not a seer by any means, but the Nott family has some information on divinatory practices in the family's grimoire. Although he did study divination during his sixth year, he did not take his studies further. He got in touch with professionals in Divination Arts and actual Seers as a material for his thesis.
Research: as someone both curious and resourceful, Morcant treats everything around him as a big research project. He's a talented researcher and academic, making sure to be meticulous and paying attention to detail.
Quidditch: abysmal, really bad. Thank Merlin that sports was optional, because Morcant would literally flunk due to PE. If he has friends who are quidditch players, I would personally love if that was a running joke.
Potions: he's a decent potioneer, but it's not like he has any special skills. If he needs a common potion or antidote, Morcant gets the job done.
Housekeeping Skills: his dependency on house elfs resulted in Morcant being unable to do house chores. He cleans up after himself decently, but if he had to live alone, things would be tragic. He has no idea where food comes from, let alone how to cook.
Financial Skills: Morcant speaks money fluently. He's a fantastic economist, probably better than his father, and has a literal schedule to manage his investments. Being insightful the way he is, he has a good eye to evaluate what is a good investment or not.
Enchanted Arts: he's a gifted artist, but that's not something known to a lot of people. This is just a hobby for him, a place to vent whenever he needs to escape, so only the closest to him know it. It's not like he tries to hide it, but he's a pretty private person and has no reason to be public about it. One of his favorite things to do is paint his friends, especially because they are at a time of war, nobody knows which day is going to be their last.
Party: Morcant puts his duty above everything else, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to party. As someone who knows the right people, he's often seen in secret, underground parties. What happens there, stays there, and people know it. Whenever he goes to those parties, it's like he's a completely different person. His duty is left aside and the most primal need to have fun is let out.
Relationships:
Other Unspeakables: people who work in the Department of Mysteries are called this, and what they do is a secret even for the Minister of Magic himself.
Divination Professionals: contacts within the Divination community who provided material for his thesis.
Academic Circles: fellow scholars and researchers who value his expertise in binding magic and prophecies.
Other Artists: a hidden group of artists who share his passion for enchanted artwork.
Dark Arts Enthusiasts: those fascinated by the darker side of magic and who may be intrigued by his interests in binding magic and prophecy.
Business Owners: he's an investor, so I need people with promising business he can support and invest.
Financial Advisors: partners in his economic ventures or mentors who help manage his investments.
Underground Party Circles: social connections in the secret, more hedonistic side of wizard society.
Ministry of Magic Employee: this person's boss has been trying to aprehend the items in Nott Manor for literal years, since the family's obsession with keeping records managed to keep part of magical history registeres. Now Mr. Nott put the responsibility to deal with the Ministry on his son, Morcant.
Magical Law Experts: considering the amount of trouble Mr. Nott is getting himself into (but also considering the family's history), they probably have a team of trusted solicitors, barristers, etc.
Morcant has a pretty good foresight, so he would be preparing for the future, in case the worst happens.
Curse Breakers: wixen specializing in intricate magical bindings who may share professional interests.
Art Collectors: wealthy individuals who appreciate or commission his private artwork.
Artisan Wandmakers or Enthusiasts: craftspeople intrigued by his philosophical perspective on binding magic.
Collectors of Magical Artifacts: wizards who trade or study the dangerous artifacts he might encounter.
