Hi there. This was so cute! So, the only one I did not write for is Mikey. I might eventually write one for Mikey and maybe a few other characters. I made the reader for Mitsuya and Draken foreign, but not Baji's. Idk why I did that but it kind of happened? Anyways, sorry for rambling. Thank you for the request and please enjoy!

You were walking home late one night from the supermarket because you needed something to eat and you had nothing at home

You felt these eyes on you

Out of the corner of your eye, you saw a man following you

He walked a little faster and faster, but you still felt like you were being followed

Suddenly, you saw this guy, about your age with beautiful long black hair

You walked up to him and asked him quietly if he would just pretend to be with you

You explained that you felt like you were being followed and were scared

Baji immediately looked around and then grabbed your hand.

The man walked away thinking you two were a couple

He asked where you lived and he took drove you home on his motorcycle that was parked not far from where you two were

When you arrived home, he gave you his number

He said if you ever needed to run an errand late at night or felt uncomfortable ever to just call him and he would be there for you

Mama Baji would be proud of her son

And you were happy to have a new friend

Mitsuya:

Another gentleman in Toman

You were new to Tokyo

Really Japan in general

Ever since you moved to Tokyo, you worked late at night at a convenience store so that you could earn extra money to help out the family and take care of your younger siblings

One night on the way home, you just had this bad feeling

You felt like you were being watched

Which was only made worse when you saw a mysterious figure behind you

But suddenly, you saw this boy

He had silver hair and an earring in his left ear

You walked up to him and tried to tell him what was going on

Sadly, your Japanese wasn’t great

He tried to follow, but he was having trouble

Suddenly, a few words clicked and he figured out you were being followed and you wanted him to pretend to know you

He grabbed your hand and smiled at you, kissing your cheek

You were bright red at this point

So was he

Eventually, he noticed the figure walk away

After that, he told you who he in the best English he could speak

Thankfully, he was a good student in English class, so he wasn’t too bad

He apologized for the kiss and walked you the rest of the way home telling you about himself as you did the same

Turns out that was the start of a beautiful friendship

And eventually a really cute romance

Draken:

All these Toman boys are just gentleman

I swear, they are

But anyways

You were on your way home from cram school and you saw a man out of the corner of your eye

You kept walking hoping you were just freaking out for nothing

Well, you weren’t

Eventually, you saw this guy with a dragon tattoo on the side of his head

He looked scary, but you were desperate

You walked up to him and in your best Japanese, you begged him to help you out and pretend to know you.

Well, Draken was a bit confused at first but he saw the look in your eyes and decided to help you out

He walked with you until he saw the man leave

He handed you his number and asked you to meet him after school the next day

After that, he introduced you to all of his friends, including the boys and Emma

That one act of kindness helped you to feel more comfortable not only that one night, but for the rest of your life in Tokyo

They even helped you learn more Japanese and you helped them with English

You were thankful for Draken’s kindness

And Draken was happy to help someone in need

Dragons of Pantala (headcanon designs)

• Silkwings:

-Inherited from nightwings genes of fur on the chest and in their case they only progressed, thanks to which the wool is distributed throughout the abdomen, neck and front legs

-In addition, the shape of the scales is more like the scales of nightwings than the beetlewings. The hind legs are also inherited from nightwings (in general, silkwings closer to the nightwings while hivewongs to the beetlewings)

-Big Eyes

-Very long tongue

-Mouth are small and round

-Short, round ears

-Teeth are not very sharp, by structure more like the teeth of herbivores than of predators (transitional form from one diet to another; such a structure also came from the merger of nightwings (predators) and beetlewings (omnivorous, but preferring to eat plants; fed only under adverse conditions))

-Blood are beige, semi-transparent

-The shape before and after Metamorphosis is significantly different. The "caterpillars" (before metamorphosis) are covered with blistering scales, some have a greenish tinge, developed a cusptry at the mouth - the mouthparts helps the dragonets to feed (after metamorphosis only small mouthparts remain, which are rather rudimentary), very small antennae on the head, almost not functioning; their role replaces temporary growths on the lower jaw, which disappear after metamorphosis. Body consists of scales, fur missing

-After metamorphosis the skin color becomes much brighter, grow long antennae with fur at the end, also appears directly, the fur itself on some parts of the body

-The shape of the wings in some individuals may be different (similar to the butterfly wings after which they were named)

-Flamesilk dragons have patterns in the form of lights on their wings and also fire colors (red, orange, yellow) all over their body. Eyes are also very bright (before the metamorphosis it is not visible, also in normal silkwings eye color changes slightly, unlike flamesilk dragons). All this is a warning to other creatures that these dragons don't have ordinary silk (it is similar to how in our world poisonous animals have bright, warning coloring)

-Growth reaches 2-2.5 meters

*The design was based on butterflies and their caterpillars

• Hivewings:

-Round tail. Despite its external fleshiness, it is almost completely hollow and not overloaded with internal organs and muscles. It contains only organs of the reproductive system and a reservoir with poison. And even though there are these organs that contribute to the flying, 2 pairs of wings and a dense front of the body all compensate for it, and they restore balance

-The tail itself is motionless, only able to descend, in order to wound the opponent with a dagger. The front part of the body is more flexible.

-Ears are long but thin

-Blood as like silkwings, beige and semi-transparent, but has a darker shade

-The gait is more developed than silkwings

-Paw structure identical to beetlewings

-Thorns on the entire spine fall long, with a sharp end

-Horns are curved, facing the opposite direction

-Whites darkened but not entirely black, has a dark shade of the color of the iris

-Also prefer to eat plants, but unlike silkwings, their teeth are very sharp. The reason is defensive functions, the presence of poison in them.

-Mouth is sharp, triangular shape

-Growth reaches 2.5-3 meters

*The design was based on bees, wasps and some other insects

• Beetlewings:

-Horns curved and parallel to the mouth

-Sharp nose, able to pierce the opponent

-The mouthparts, which due to the long nose is necessary for beetlewings so that from the mouth as little food as possible. The long tongue also helps (but it is less than the silkwing's tongue)

-2 pair of wings: the first is twice as short as the second, it performs the role of elytra

-The second pair of wings can fold and hide under the first

-Double thorn on the tail. The structure of the tail is similar to the tail of hivewings (the tail of the beetlewings is longer than that of the hivewings)

-Large thorns on the spine

-Semi-transparent beige blood

-Whites are also darkened, but not as much as in their descendants, hivewings

-Ears are pointed but not very long

-Omnivores

-Growth reaches 2.5-3.5 meters

*The design was based on bugs and some other insects

• Leafwings:

-Horizontal eye shape

-The presence of a modified ruffs (they are related to rainwings)

-Wings, webbed spines, ruffs and ears are leaf-shaped, and they can be very different in each individual (often their appearance resembles the plant after which they were named)

-Their scales do not necessarily have a green tint in all individuals

-Long, multi-ended horns that resemble tree branches. Many bigger than rainwings

-Paw structure almost identical to rainwings

-Sapwings and poisonwings try to distinguish themselves by applying paint on small fragments of scales, often making a small pattern from this (the first are painted in pale colors, the second, on the contrary, in colorful, mostly consisting of red, yellow and orange shades)

-In addition to this poisonwings can sharpen their webbed spines and horns, make them sharper

-Height reaches 3-4 meters

Catnap and Baba Chops Headcanons(?) + Artwork

So I made this collection of drawings with Catnap and Baba Chops. I think these two would be interesting as a pair whether friends or more.

Now I had a couple of ideas regarding these two.

Now these two would make up an interesting duo as both seemed to be either described or behave in reserved ways and both are most likely introverts. However both share a morbid or creepy aura when interacted with or near, both seem to be the odd one out, and both have a history of them hunting or killing Dogday(in the factory).

Also both have their connection to more religious themes like with Catnap being about heretics and worship of the Prototype and Baba Chops, being a sheep which has quite a bit of connection to religion in their variety of ways.

They still have their differences such as Baba Chops being quite the surprise hunter and violent sheep while Catnap cares more about the Prototype worship than his own stomach.

These two tend to have a lot in common annd they are perfect to participate in a haunted house as they would traumatize the other critters.

I decided to add some of my headcanons/ideas of these two.

In my head, I imagine them to be critters who at one point before Catnap joined Dogday, used to be quite close. They were always together and they always understood each other, Catnap was one of the few that Baba was willing to open up to and wanted to hang out with.

But when Catnap joined the Smiling Critters(more or less specifically Dogday), they separated and Baba began have hatred over the dog who in her eyes, stole Catnap away. Due to this drift and other issues regarding beef between the Nightmare and Smiling Critters, their relationship began getting weird as Baba is more desperate to bring back Catnap, even started acting a bit aggressive and obsessive while Catnap struggles to decide between his new friends or Baba(as well as the other Nightmare Critters as he might’ve been friends with them too).

Whenever a rare physical altercation does happen(probably the reason being Dogday), Baba Chops’s usual weapon of choice is a scythe(you know…skull = death = grim reaper). Catnap also is dangerous in his own way and let’s just say these two are unhinged and dangerous in a physical fight.

To add further onto this, I drew a more demonic form of Baba Chops whenever she starts getting more frustrated or pushed far enough. She has many sharp teeth which she hides being her basic grin. Her claws showing looking similar to the Prototype claws.

Because the show introduces a dragon, a unicorn, Catnap’s mysterious red smoke in the show, and probably cartoon logic, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some additional magic involved so I figured an idea where Baba Chops, the critter representing death, would have such a form.

Whether you see these two as a romantic pairing or not, regardless, here are them dancing. Baba Chops hates dresses while Catnap obsesses over the idea of “dress to impress” especially on special occasions like dancing. Of course he decided to wear white, opposite of Baba’s tendency to wear dark colors.

Now I haven’t seen a name yet(or I haven’t found one) of the pairing so I have an idea…it could be called “Sacrificial Sheep”….hire me(this is more of a joke).

Still, they have some pleasure and calmness with each other’s company.

I’m not sure if you noticed or not, but both their pendants have a glow to them or rather Catnap’s moon pendant does like it glows in a dark for a nightlight while Baba has her pendant have a black aura around it like it absorbs light instead of emitting it.

I hope you enjoyed the art and explanation. I was thinking of making my own Smiling Critters story/comic showing these ideas as I think there is a lot of potential with these characters to make something interesting.

I have some ideas I might introduce in the future but in the meantime, have a great day.

WoF Tribe Headcanons Number 42069

SandWings sometimes have black streaks or spots on their face in varying patterns in order to absorb the sun's glare like a sahara animal. It can look like tear lines like a cheetah, or streaks like a baseball player, or some slay eyeliner, or whatever. SandWings without this gene often wear black eye makeup for this functional purpose, but have the liberty to make it a little fancy as well.

Most if not all dragon tribes have multiple layers of eyelids/membranes like a crocodile, which help protect their eyes in their varying habitats.

Not sure if this one comes across as making sense but some SkyWings' scales are a little bit translucent and make the light bounce around in them uniquely, giving them a shimmery appearance. This is a trait common in the royal family.

Some NightWings believe that the pattern of an individual's star scales determines something about their personality or future, sort of like a palm reading.

Plenty of SandWings have freckles like Qibli does. Their uneven distribution of pigment gives them a camoflage advantage because different grains of sand are different colors, so it helps hide them against their background better.

In some parts of the desert, such as where the soil is red and rocky, a bit closer to the mountains, SandWings are found to have a more reddish tint to their scales. This could be a mutation, or evidence of past crossbreeding with SkyWings, but either way it helps them blend in to their environment.

While gold is the most popular metal within most tribes, silver is considered the most valuable to the NightWings. Some even believe it has spiritual significance or a connection to the moons. Also, it goes with their scales better.

When IceWings are startled, annoyed, or offended, their spikes bristle up like a little hedgehog.

Going by the nickname “Pure Vanilla”, or “P.V.”

He’s known to be very social and surprisingly kind, even to the point of being called naive for a mafia boss.

However, much is going on behind those eyes. His mechanical staff almost looks…alive, in a way, blinking and glancing around. As if looking for a traitor in its midst.

Despite his kindness, Pure Vanilla is known to be quite intelligent, and his truth can be quite harsh. Especially to those who declare that they’re his enemy.

The look of shock on someone’s face when Pure Vanilla comes face to face with them, smiling all giddy and joyful as he lists down everything that they’ve done to betray the syndicate is…exhilarating to him.

And how does he deal with them? Well, by forcing the traitor into a bright, almost blinding room and sending in his subordinate, Strawberry Crepe to…disassemble them.

File #2: Silent Petal Society

Boss: White Lily

They’re a very secretive organization, known for its eagerness to test out the resilience of their members and how their minds work.

White Lily, known to be distant yet intelligent and kind to her subordinates is quite brutal to her enemies, attacking them with no mercy. Just ask a certain jester-looking freak about what she did to him and you’ll get your answer.

She deals with sciences and often sends her members out to smuggle more information and items for the sake of research.

She may have some other side to her, as she was sometimes reported to be cackling her heart out in a room with a bright red hue…but that was just normal, wasn’t it?

File #3: Scarlet Nexus

Boss: Hollyberry

This group is known for its brute strength and love for alcohol. In fact, their group mostly focuses on smuggling said items to their headquarters, where their boss Hollyberry is.

She’s the only one who uses her name, while the rest go by their nicknames. She personally thinks that it’s a power move and that her strength outweighs their intelligence in multiple ways. She didn’t specify how though.

Her group is much more out in the open, but who could really stop such powerful yet swift people? Most, if not all of them are loud and boisterous, both confident in their ability to evade the police and strong enough to fight them if ever caught.

Hollyberry is even in a sort of alliance with a Dragon — one of the five most powerful members in a terrorist organization.

File #4: The Black Citadel

Boss: Dark Cacao

Pussy

Dark Cacao is the most secure and secretive of the bunch. His headquarters is somewhere up in a mountain, yet nobody really knows where. He has his own business by fortifying his borders with technology to make sure nobody goes in, and very few come out.

He may be the most strongest, but he doesn’t plan to show it anytime soon. Otherwise there would be a bit of a bloodbath happening sooner or later.

His three executives, going by the nicknames Affogato, Caramel Arrow, and Crunchy Chip are different in their own ways.

Affogato deals with finding traitors on the inside and creating more poisons and psychological weapons against any enemies who dare wish to harm the boss. In fact, he may be the closest to Dark Cacao for some reason…perhaps he has other goals?

Crunchy Chip works as a guard with his group, known for controlling and training many dangerous wolves. Not much else is known. Perhaps later these files may be updated.

Caramel Arrow leads a group called the Watchers. They’re known for scouting out their enemies. They also work to help trade in materials and weapons. She’s quite loyal to Dark Cacao, even though she was close to getting demoted and eliminated due to a certain meddling of another executive…

File #5: The Golden Circuit

Boss: Golden Cheese

She’s very flamboyant and tech-savvy, and so is her group. They’re well-known and very popular among criminal organizations of all kind.

Golden Cheese loves glittering gold, sending out her subordinates to get any jewelry that gleams and shimmers like her oh-so precious gold.

The Golden Circuit specializes in high-tech surveillance systems and technological innovation, especially with weapons. This group knows everything and everyone that even speaks to one of their members.

So yes, they are known to blackmail quite often.

And any enemies don’t stand a chance due to Golden Cheese being active in her job as a boss, even killing tens of people with some of her high-tech golden spears, able to track any source of heat and follow it.

All of her subordinates are light on their feet, and some even use mechanical wings like hers to fly around so quietly.

She’s probably the one who designed Pure Vanilla’s mechanical eye staff anyways…

Back with the dragon headcanons.

This episode: The Night Fury

Buckle up, this is a long one.

Color variations! Their whole body is usually a dark color. Shades of black/dark grey, dark blue, dark purple are the most common. However, they also have lighter colored patterns on the underside of their wings. Blurred together scales and marks that resemble the northern lights and/or a galaxy type design. It started as a mutation meant for better camouflage, but eventually turned into a mating thing like with peacocks. A night fury has really pretty patterns/designs on the underside of their wings? They have a better chance of getting a mate.

Patterns. They have darker markings and patterns. Think of a black jaguar or a tabby cat for reference. Also, accompanying the previously mentioned designs on the underside of their wings, white speckles that look like stars and can even extend to their underbelly.

Toothless has melanism, hense his more solidly black design, and is actually considered even more rare because of his coloration alone.

They have the widest eye color variation among dragons. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, even shades that look purple are possible.

They usually live in large packs led by a female alpha/queen. If you find one Night Fury, there's usually at least ten more nearby.

Night Fury's in a pack are able to fight the control of dragons like the Red Death and Bewilderbeast more easily since, well, they already have an alpha they're following. Solo Night Furys are still strong willed and can break out with enough trying, but it's significantly harder.

Night Furys are one of if not the most intelligent dragon species. They're able to adapt to different environments, learn from observation to mimic other animal, dragon, and even human behavior, can recognize human weapons, and are smart enough to strategize hunting plans.

Building onto that last point, they don't hunt anywhere near where they nest. They'll fly miles away to hunt for, usually, fish. At least half of the pack will leave at a time while the other half stays back to guard the hatchling, eggs, and nesting area in general. This behavior was learned and adopted after being hunted to near extinction.

Their favorite nesting places are areas that humans can't easily get to. Large cliffs with rocky/rushing water below and in areas prone to storms. Again, a learned behavior from being hunted.

More nesting info, they use a combination of their plasma blasts and claws to dig/carve out caves into said cliffs, which is where they'll nest. Cliff side in an area you can't get too close to on boat with a bunch of holes in the side? Congrats! You probably just found a Night Fury nesting ground and should turn back quickly.

Night Furys aren't inherently aggressive or hostile at all, really. They're wary of humans for obvious reasons, and will defend themselves and their pack/territory, but otherwise they're pretty laid back. Big cats, essentially. Don't be a threat, give them space, and you get to live. This is partly due to them being smart enough to recognize via body language, tone, and even supplies if someone or something is a threat or not.

You want to tame a Night Fury? No weapons, bring food, and again give space. Let them come to you, because they will eventually. Will begin to realize you're not a threat, then realize you bring snacks, then accept that you're pretty alright and begin allowing more physical contact/affection and eventually be okay riding/flying with you. It's a slow process built entirely on trust and mutual respect. If you start getting pushy with a Night Fury, especially too soon in the process, they'll push you away and you have to start from scratch.

Night Fury's are very, very, very protective and loyal. Arguably one of the best dragons to tame purely off of the fact they'll stick with you until the very end and do everything possible to keep you safe.

Once you've tamed or generally befriended a Night Fury you're considered part of the pack. Dynamic from there depends on the type of Night Fury you're dealing with. An adult/older male or female with a history of hatchlings? They'll likely consider you as one of their own babies. A juvenile/younger male or female? They'll likely see you more as a sibling. A hatchling? Hope you're ready to be a parent cause that's what they'll likely see you as.

Cuddle piles. They'll usually sleep cuddled up with littlermates and parents in a pile of sort for warmth and security. This is a behavior that persists into adulthood, since it's a source of comfort and stability as well as a bonding experience.

You know the smaller nubs on a Night Fury's head? Hatchlings tend to suckle on those for comfort. There's literally no other reason. It's like a baby with a pacifier, essentially.

My personal favorite now, SCRUFF! Hatchlings have looser yet tougher skin on the back of their neck that acts as a scruff, allowing adults to pick them up and carry them around easily. As they age it stretches and thins and, eventually, that pressure point we saw in httyd 2 becomes 'exposed.' At that point a parent or other adult Night Fury will nudge the spot with their snout or claws to activate it. This whole process usually occurs around early juvenile/teen stages, since that's when a night fury will begin actively joining hunting parties and need to fly with more speed and agility.

Lucien is the guy you aren't automatically programmed to want in romantasy. He's not dark and brooding, he doesn't have blue, gray, green, or black as night eyes, he doesn't have shadow powers, he doesn't hate everyone and everything but her. Really, he's the comic relief who in most other series would remain a side character. But what Sarah has done with the comic relief is make him hot. Muscular. With gorgeous red hair. Really intelligent. With a secret heritage that's going to make him just as powerful as the other most powerful players in their world.

Sarah has taken the sidekick and set him up to be just about as powerful as the lead of her trilogy. It's almost unheard of.

But he's been such a good guy the entire time. He's not betraying people, stabbing them in the back. He's not hounding Elain, trying to snark his way into gaining her attention, not seducing her, not trying to make her jealous. Dude could probably wipe out Az if he wanted at this point with the hints of his Day Court powers beginning to peak through but instead he just stands aside and lets everyone do their thing even if he's hurt as a result.

Lucien is not only fantasy book boyfriend material but he's also a lot closer to real life boyfriend material, the kind who is already mature all on his own and readily apologizes for his mistakes, where he doesn't need a girl to fix him.

Where so many other MMCs are carbon copies of one another Lucien stands out as being one of a kind.

2. Is there a specific scene that made you like him?

Literally every scene. I was a Rhys girlie during my first read but he hasn't stood up to the test of time. Not that I hate Rhys now or anything but there's been many MMC since then who rank much higher for me. Lucien remains in my top 5 and I can't even imagine what it would feel like to have an entire book from his POV.

While I love every scene he's in I was beside myself getting his POV in ACOWAR.

3. What theories/headcanons do you have for Lucien?

Possible contender for High King wielding Gwydion, that his beast form might be a dragon, that he and Elain performing Calanmai might stop the lands from dying further, that he'll be the one to break through the spells and wards at the Human Queens castle.

Character design ideas for Tim, you know the drill

-black fingerless gloves. His hands may be cold but by god is he gonna show that black nail polish

-on that note: black nail polish. Tbf I'd give like half of the batfam black nail polish, and Tim is one of them for sure.

-sleep apnea. Idc that making that fit with canon is impractical, I saw that image of Tim falling asleep on a rollercoaster on a date and my brain decided he has sleep apnea.

-active noise-reduction earphones so he can hear himself think.

-I already ranted about this but that man doesn't drink coffee: he drinks energy drinks and these yfood bottled meals that got a meal's worth of nutrients in them, and he takes vitamin pills and protein supplements when necessary. My man knows the importance of a balance alimentation, but he's on a schedule.

-intense fixed blank stare. Oh, he's looking you in the eyes alright; and then he's not looking away.

-sensory issues around food; another reason why my Tim likes liquid food is that he doesn't have to handle and process all the different and weird textures. This isn't developed enough or associated with an emotional state of mind enough to classify as ARFID, but it's still important. (I describe it a little in The Protector).

-he has an elbow scar from a really stupid skateboard accident where he fell and then the skateboard fell on top of him snapped in half. He lies and blames the injury on Ra's.

- We know that Tim plays off-brand dnd, but what are his favourite builds? Easy: he's tried to recreate his perception of all of his teammates and family members as dnd characters, even the ones he doesn't like, and circles through them depended on his state of mind. (one day I might make a "batfam dnd build but according to tim drake" post idk). One time, his Nightwing insert dropped to 0 (didn't even perma die and got healed immediately) and he screamed like someone was getting murdered irl. Sometimes when he's in a particularly petty mood and upset at someone he'll get into a game playing that person's character and try his best to perma-die. One time he was so pissed at Jason he joined the party as Jaybin, got himself killed (by jumping into the dragon's mouth to stab it from inside), pulled out a backup character that was Red Hood and got himself killed again. He has a mini for each and everyone of his close ones' vigilante personas, which he has hand-painted himself.

Small details in Wise's room. I'll admit I struggled a little on this one. (No offense to Wise lovers, he's just not super interesting to me. But I did my best!)

[Desc: Next to Wise's bed is a brown shelf beside an industrial style shelf, made of wood & metal. Like Belle's room, the standing shelf holds record sleeves. The first one is white with art of a black record that is broken in thirds, with large box letters that say 'ZERO'. The art is vague which makes it hard to speculate what style of music it might be. I guess...Jazz? That's a guess purely on vibes, really. The second record sleeve is black, white, and grey. On a white background there is a grey (traditional style) dragon wrapping around the studio's logo, EZ or 3Z, I'm not sure which. There's text that says 'ZENLESS', and underneath that, some descriptive text. The descriptive text is more legible than others. It says - "SAN-Z Studios is a general arts and design studio that aims to create fun experiences. We have a broad range of talents, involved in fashion design, accessories, music...and more." The third record sleeve is black with art of three eyes, each with a 'Z' in the iris. It's far too vague for me to guess what style of music it is. On the industrial shelf is a cardboard box with a red polaroid camera on top, and some VHS tapes leaned against it. These VHS tapes have no branding, which once again makes me think these are the tapes one would buy for personal recordings. On the shelf above it are three non-descript cases. They seem too thin for VHS tapes, and too big for a walkman tape. This makes me think they're CD cases.]

[Desc: On the coffee table(that is a trunk style coffee table) is a tray with an open package of 'Royal Baking' chips/crackers. Based on coloring, I'd guess they're cheesy. Beside the open cracker package is a bag of Coff Coffee, made by the Tin Master. There's a cup with Tin Master's logo beside it, with coffee inside. The coffee has foam in a design. On the table is also a newspaper. The only legible writing is in kanji I cannot read, but the picture on it is of Box Galaxy, the gadget store on Sixth Street. Also, I took note that there is a little Bangboo reading a newspaper on it. Lastly, there is a remote. Despite the vintage style TVs, this remote looks akin to a modern Roku remote. Black, with rounded corners, fairly slim and small, with a simple set of buttons. On, record (potentially, the symbol is vague), a central d pad, a menu button, undo, home, a pair of volume buttons & up/down decision buttons, a settings button, a button with a red heart (to favorite things I presume), and a last button with a symbol so vague I couldn't begin to guess what it does.]

[Desc: Like Belle, Wise has movie posters on the wall beside his bed. Unlike Belle, his posters don't overlap, and seem meticulously placed. There are a total of six movie posters. Though before I describe those, I'll point out that he has a green & yellow ukulele hanging on his wall. A notable difference from Belle's electric guitar. 1) Now, the first poster features art of an old computer (think big white box computers from the 80s) in a blue & yellow ocean landscape, with dark blue fish shapes around it. The title says Under The Sea in yellow text. What this could be about, I have no clue. But Wise has been said to enjoy documentaries and artsy films. Completely based on my own headcanon and no evidence? My guess is a documentary about technology developed to explore the ocean. 2) The one underneath has a title in kanji, but the art is pretty clear. It features a shiba inu dog front and center with a "saddle" on it's back, of which has two bags on either side. The only item I can tell that is in the bag is the left one, which has the top of a leek sticking out. Behind the dog is a young woman with a long skirt, as well as some trees. I can't read the title so I'm not sure, but I'd like to think this is a documentary about a very special dog. Like Balto! 3) The third poster features art of a young girl in a space suit, sat on a swing (a wooden board with rope that goes up out of frame), over a shadowy moon that is covered in children's crayon drawings. The title is one again in Kanji, but the tagline says "She's a Starchild". Once again, the art is vague, but my guess would be an artsy kind of film with an underlying message about a young girl with a struggle of some kind. Probably a movie with a lot of metaphors and symbolism. 4) Poster number four is a horizontal kind of poster. On a blue background, there is an old film camera on the left. (A vintage one, 1930s-1950s, which used large film reels.) On the right are three figures. The one furthest to the back is Godzilla, the second is a woman in a red dress, and the third appears to be a non-descript hero character in a blue & yellow uniform. In white block text, it says "DREAM WEAVER". My guess is that this is a documentary about film making. 5) Five has art of a semi-humanoid creature standing in a red lit doorway, but at the bottom are various winding tentacles. The title says "The Obelisk". My guess is that this is a sci-fi horror movie of some sort. 6) The last poster, number six, features an animal skull (a bear skull based on my limited knowledge) on top of a white background. There is black and red kanji in a "messy" style. The English text are the words "Before The Story Begins", so it's probably a prequel of some kind. There's a vague shape in the bottom corner that looks like an award symbol.]

[Desc: Wise's memory board. (If you don't pick him as your MC). The back is the basic wooden style that Belle also has, and it has five pictures. The first one is a selfie taken by Belle, featuring her and Eous standing over Wise, who is sleeping, after having given him a pair of pigtails. The second picture features various cats, with one opening it's mouth for a big yawn as Wise pets it. The third picture is a picture taken by one of the Random Play Bangboo; but not Eous. Eous is in the picture, cleaning one of the screens in the H.D.D, while Belle reclines in a chair and holds up a stack of papers that has red writing - "Complete!" with a circle around it. Wise stands beside Eous with his jacket slung over his shoulder, drinking a soda. (It doesn't match the LENMAN soda in Belle's room, but I've seen vending machines in Lumina square with a drink that is orange; with oranges on it. So...Orange soda? The fourth picture is of the Hollow in the Scott Outpost area. I can tell because there are pillars that match that area. The last picture is a childhood drawing of Wise & Belle. Stood in a field, in front of an orange house. Based on the style difference, it's possible that this was a group effort. Belle's figure and various background elements seem more...uh, artistically inclined. While Wise's figure, some trees, and the flower/grass details seem more simplistic and sloppy. Which would make sense given all the artist details in Belle's room. Wise probably didn't get the artist gene.]

[Desc: On the cabinet beside Wise's TV (once again an old style tube television) are some knickknacks. In front of three stacked small boxes is a stature, the same one in Belle's room that she used to hold her snowboarding goggles. I guessed rabbit based on her room, but it also looks like a fox. Beside that is an orange desk fan that's always on. Further to the right is a game console, which I mention was visually similar to a Super Nintendo. There are no visible cartridges out excluding the singular one in the slot of the console, with a vague logo on the front. An orange smiley face; which could mean it's part of a series, since Belle had a game with a blue smiley face in her console. The sticker for this game is ripped at the top. Maybe it's old, or maybe he and Belle swapped games for a bit. Belle seems like she'd accidentally rip a sticker. He also has a VHS player, there's a small screen on top of it. It's tiny, like a monitor, but I'm not sure it's purpose exactly. Maybe one of those old CCTV monitors? There's some more non-descript VHS tapes leaned against it. There's a shelf as well that holds some more VHS sleeves and a blue & white box. While I've seen the box in the 141 Convenience Store, which tells me the box's branding has the word "CLICK" on it, the rest is in kanji and there's no pictures on it to hint at a product of some sort. Game? Console? ...Wireless mouse? I have no clue.]

[Desc: Wise owns the same CD/Record/Tape player that Belle does. It's situated on a little table by the door. I can see now that the branding on the gadget is the same as the studio on the second record sleeve he owns, SAN-Z studio. The table has a divot to hold records. The only one with a visible front has art of a girl with vibrant green hair, in front of a black background that has bright pink, blue, and orange detailing. The girl has a hearing aid/ear bud in her ear, and an...accessory? On the side of her head. On a separate cabinet beside this is a blue & white box with a pair of black & white sneakers, which I think I've seen on one of the commercials that the game-start loading screen features.]

[Desc: (With a bonus Wise in frame), there is an L shaped cabinet in front of his door. On this cabinet is a plain black cap with a blue brim, and a skateboard with blue & white art on the back. I didn't seen any snowboarding gear in his room, but it doesn't mean he doesn't own it. He's neat, so it could just be put away. On the wall is a yellow bike. The back wheel is black, while the front is white. They don't match, but the front one matches the seat color of the bike, so my guess is he had to replace the back one. Also, based on the shape of the handlebars and the seat positioning, the seat is raised in a way that would make riding while sat upright hard/impossible. This seems like a bike someone must lean forward on, which means it'd be for things like trails and marathons, rather than transportation or leisure rides.]

[Desc: A bit boring, but his roof is the only one with a sun roof. Belle's room doesn't have one. By his bed is also, the only window that is visibly open on the front of Random Play. Somehow, this pale boy gets more sunlight in his room than Belle. But maybe she picked that. Also, though I picked Belle (which means Eous charges in her room), Wise also has an Eous charger, just unused.]

[Desc: A set of lockers with some posted notes. These seem to be reused assets from Belle's room. There is also a book case. None of the books really have any branding that allows for speculation of what they're about, but there are some colors with tiny (non-descript) details that remind me of textbooks and books about specific subject, like for learning.]

[Desc: Wise's desk. It features a standard PC screen, one of those vertical screens, and a laptop on a holder. All of which are on, glowing with blue symbols and unreadable text. There's a wireless mouse too. On the shelves over the desk are post it notes, one that seems like a list, and another that might be about code? There are also more books. Most are in kanji, but I can read one. "Hollow Raiders & Their Proxies." Beside his computers are three journals. Unlike Belle's, there are no stickers, stamps, or tabs poking out of the pages. These are note journals, each with a button latch to close them. One yellow, one red, one blue. To the right is a...radio? It looks vaguely like a call radio to me, and there's a set of headphones on top. But I'll be honest and admit I'm not sure what it is. There's also a yellow license plate on the wall - "NOV 715". There's another Tin Master mug, and while in the photo it's blocked by his aerodynamic chair, there's a metal coffee percolator. Which makes me think this dude has a caffeine addiction.]

New Ideas for HOTD Alicent Fashion pt.2

So technically the last one I did for Alicent was apart of a Rhaenyra one, but for continuity sake this is my second outfit redesign for a younger Queen Alicent Hightower.

The dress in question we’re changing is one that will be changed in both scenes it’s worn. One will be a new dress entirely but the other will be just mentally recreating it to look more like the concept art.

The scenes are the dismissal of her father as Hand & The confrontation between she and Rhaenyra about the rumor that had her father dismissed:

I actually love this❤️❤️❤️ it’s just missing a little something, so when comparing these two pics:

If you notice these look exactly the same, except the black is darker, perhaps a velvet, the gold embroidery is more in the form of a design and brighter. The necklace is also more regal looking, bigger than the ones we saw her wear in her girlhood as a noble Lady. Those are the things they should’ve kept for the design of the dress in this scene, she’d look more like an actual Targaryen royal of the time. No offense but the dress that made the cut is kinda bland in tone.

The hair as well, she went for a jeweled hairnet to back to her girlhood hairstyles, precisely why I wish they would’ve kept the braided jeweled crown. It makes her seem more mature (despite her not being but jewelry can be a mask just as much as makeup sometimes) and more royal. She could even still keep it in this half held up hairdo just with the jeweled braided crown/twist added into it:

And the last thing about it the to want to say, the cape would’ve been awesome to see and it would’ve fit the scene. It was raining and she had a man carrying an umbrella for her, I think she’d have that cool ass cape too. Again makes her look more regal, more queen like, more mature.

The next time she wears it that I’d like to change, when she confronted Rhaenyra. A tense scene.

However at this point in time is when she is the most conflicted between her marriage to her husband and her “duty” to her house. I feel she’d reflect that in a representation of both houses. More so red, almost as if adding green was an afterthought, bc I rather think it would be a last minute decision for Alicent to add a green sash or piece of fabric to her usually Targaryen adoption in appearance. A way to feel close to her father by wearing the colors of the house she was born from (just like I headcanon she wore blue as a child to feel close to her mother; Helena Cuy, look it up where I go on a whole rant).

That in mind, imagine something similar to this:

The green being held in place at her neck, Targaryen dragon scales but in gold (perhaps a subtle nod toward Sunfyre/Aegon), it comes to wrap around her waist like a belt, tied at one side the remainder of the green fabric falls free on her left side of her hips down side by side the red dress. Also from the neckline, a half cape of green coming to cover her right side, thin gold chains reaching out from the neckline to hide beneath the half cape.

The red dress underneath would suit the summer climate/warmer climate of the time in the Red Keep, it’s just the right shade of Targaryen red, not to mention the red dress isn’t what really makes the dress but really what is meant to catch ur eye is that she’s wearing green for the first time in a long time. It meant to be hinting at her internal battles. Ofc her cleavage wouldn’t be exposed as depicted so it’s have a higher neckline, perhaps some simple gold and/or black embroidery to enhance it a bit.

Her hair would be something else to consider, thinking back to how we want it to be more mature and queen like. So perhaps a head peace or a jeweled net?

A mixture of these two would suffice:

The first picture is my favorite one and the main inspo for how I’d have done her hair, the pearls, the way her hair is twisted at the top with her bun being kept nice and beautiful in a net. The only thing I’d add from the second photo is the gold lace around the edges of the net, as well as the braid surrounding that as a whole. I’d also take the bands and add them loosely to the bottom part of her hair left down.

As for jewelry, they could’ve taken inspo from actual royal jewels. Something like this for Alicent:

Like I said the look starting originally as her traditional Targaryen Queen attire, with her Hightower symbolism added as an afterthought. Some small pearls could be added between diamond to go more with the pearls in her hair (although I think I might see some pearls in there but I might be dumb).

As for the earrings they could be something like this:

Again incorporating pearls into them or straight up replacing the diamonds entirely.

It’s just Queenly. It’s appeasing to the eyes. And it’s what I expect people to design royal fashion as to look like in period/historical dramas when you’ve proven yourself not concerned with accuracy or if it is a style fantasy gown.

You're not quite sure how to handle the emotional and logistical fallout.

You uh. You wouldn't want to take chances anymore, would you? I have to imagine Ungolim has a very traumatized and twitchy trigger finger after that, and surviving Hand members from that incident would still be side-eyeing tf out of each other even a decade on. And this idea is the basis for a lot of what goes on in Dear Brother - what the Hand culture is like between 3E421-433, and more importantly why those goobers made the decisions they did for the main quest.

A Wonderful Addition

I was already making this as a very self indulgent HC and someone requested it, I love you nonny /p

Using some of my special interests because it goes with the mini plot.

You are the only person allowed in the bookshop on a regular basis. Aziraphale adores you.

But the very first time, you had walked in very quietly, gave the angel a friendly wave and sat yourself in the coziest, farthest corner.

At first Aziraphale was wary but you never stole from him or caused him trouble so he let you be.

He started glimpsing into your special interests when he saw you repeatedly going after books on snakes, mythology, and space.

“Excuse me sir,” you hadn’t made eye contact with him, and he didn’t mind it. “Do you have any more on this?” You asked pointing to the book you had finished. Unfortunately he did not, but he promised to try and get some more in just for you.

“Wait, who’s that?” Crowley asked one day when he saw you, “how long have they been there?”

Aziraphale told him your name and said that you’d been in that spot for many of their conversations. “I believe they may have what the humans call, autism. They rather adore snakes and some of your old creations.” The angel said with a knowing smirk, causing Crowley to grin and go upstairs to the Angel’s flat so he could change forms without you noticing.

“Oh, hi,” you said to the red and black snake that was coming up the side of the chair, “are you cold?” And with that you’d open your hoodie for him to slither in. Crowley knew you’d two would get along just fine as he nestled into your warmth.

You had confirmed your diagnosis with them months later after properly meeting Crowley and getting to know them both.

Crowley doesn’t wear his glasses around you, a sign of trust but also because he knows it makes your day to see the serpentine eyes.

They’d notice if you’d try to repress your stims, gently tapping your hand to remind you that you didn’t have to do so.

Crowley started keeping a pair of noise cancelling headphones in Bentley for you to use whenever the noises of London and his car were too much.

Aziraphale would happily keep his pantry stocked with your favorite snacks and foods, and always had your drink made perfectly.

You heard Crowley fussing at Aziraphale for changing Bentley to yellow and joined in with the demon. “Change her back, ‘Zira! She’s sleek black, you have enough yellow between this bookshop and Crowley’s eyes!”

That was also how Crowley realized the bookshop yellow was a perfect match to his eyes.

Meltdowns couldn’t always be helped, they knew that, and so they were involved and as helpful as they could be to reassure you and help you self regulate, never resorting to miracles to speed anything up.

You find that Aziraphale’s direct way of speaking certainly helps you to understand everything, even when they were talking about False Armageddon or the Second Coming.

Hell have mercy should anyone try and mock you or taunt you for your special interests. Crowley towering over you like a very protective dragon and Aziraphale holding your hand (should you allow such) to help you stay grounded.

Crowley tries to join you and Aziraphale for baking but really he’s only good at kneading the dough, and you’re perfectly okay with that because sticky dough is not a nice texture.

Overall, they take interest in you, listen and cling to every word, show you that it’s okay to stim around them, it’s okay to have meltdowns, they still love you just how you are, and not one of them would change a thing about you.
