Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag
I’ve only read 11 books so far this year which isn’t that great, but that doesn’t matter so here’s the tag.
1. Best Book You’ve Read So Far
Deposing Nathan by Zack Smedley // My first book of 2020 and it will stay as one of my favorites. This book speaks to my sad and confused soul. There are heavy topics that are discussed in this book and I thought they were dealt with carefully and it wasn’t problematic. I don’t know, this is just such a great book.
TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNINGS: child abuse, violence, homophobic slurs said between characters, physical and emotional and mental abuse, suicidal thoughts
Topics discussed: religion, questioning sexual identities, exploring sexuality
2. Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far
A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir // I know some people think that Reaper is the weakest out of the three that are out, but I love it so much. The characters are finally coming to their own strengths and discovering their greatness and their weakness and it’s so good. The plot continues to grow and become so so complex. Ugh, it’s just freaking fantastic and y’all need to go read it.
3. A New Release You Haven’t Read Yet But Want To
Black Girl Unlimited by Echo Brown // I’ve been trying to get myself to read new fantasy/magical realism books instead of reading like the same three fantasy series over and over again every year. The premise of this book sounds amazing and so heart wrenching. People have said they cried while reading this so I’m ready to cry as well, because if you’ve read my older posts, I love books that make me cry.
4. Most Anticipated Release for the Second Half of the Year
A Sky Beyond the Storm by Sabaa Tahir // I cannot wait for this book to come out. I will cry the day it is released. This is one of my favorite book series and the first fantasy book series that I read and really loved. It will always have a special place in my heart. I’m also so nervous as to where this story is going to go.
5. Biggest Disappointment
My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga // I honestly don’t even know why I had high hopes for this book because I had first read it around 2016 and I really liked it, but as I sat with my thoughts more, I started thinking about how some aspects of the book was problematic. But I still, for some reason, held some hope in myself for this book, and then I read it. And then my sitting thoughts were kind of right, but I guess this reread for me did allow me to see what I had liked about it. I liked the main character’s sarcasm and her humor, and I also liked how her feelings were described but only in the beginning half. I don’t know. My thoughts on what I didn’t like about this book is a lot and I won’t write a whole essay here. If you liked the book, that’s great! That’s your opinion and this is mine. I’m not bashing you if you liked this book, I just didn’t quite like it.
TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNINGS: suicidal thoughts, a suicide attempt, depression
6. Biggest Surprise
Anil’s Ghost by Michael Ondaatje // I had to read this for school and I was initially excited for it because I had previously read Running in the Family which I really liked, but I looked up the ratings for Anil’s Ghost on Goodreads and it wasn’t the highest. I still read it because school, and it shocked me with how much I actually liked it and connected with it. I do not cry when reading required books for school but by the end of this book, I was sobbing my eyes out.
TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNINGS: a graphic suicide attempt, graphic violence, PTSD
7. Favorite New Author
I’ve said this in my past tag and I’ll say it again here. I’ll consider someone my favorite author if I’ve read and liked more than one of their books/series.
8. Newest Fictional Crush
Cordelia Carstairs from Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare // A whole badass queen, and my absolute favorite protagonist in TSC world. Y’all can try to debate it, but there will be no point because Cordelia is just the best and that’s a fact.
9. Newest Favorite Character
Elias Veturius from the An Ember in the Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir // I have a whole new appreciation for this man, and I love him with my whole being and you cannot tell me that his character does not slap when he clearly fucking does.
10. Book That Made You Cry
Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds // If you read this and you don’t cry, are you okay? I’m not the biggest fan of poetry or books written in verse, but I loved this book. The whole book is an emotional ride and it’s hard not to cry. I had initially picked this up in 2019 but never finished it and have no idea why. But I finished it, and it was great. Also, that ending gives me chills every time I think about it.
TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNINGS: violence
11. Book That Made You Happy
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir // I will never shut up about this series and you’re just gonna have to deal with it. I love this series so much and this first book is absolutely fucking superb. The writing is so good and captivating, and the world and characters are so complex. This is a book where you will forget that you’re even reading and then once you pull yourself away five hours have passed. I love this book so much.
12. Favorite Book to Movie Adaptation You Saw This Year
Howl’s Moving Castle // This is the movie I have to watch every year because I said so. I’ve never read the book and I don’t ever plan to because I personally think it will never live up to the beauty that is the film.
13. Favorite Review You’ve Written So Far This Year
I don’t have a favorite review that I’ve posted but I have another review that I’m currently writing up about An Ember in the Ashes, A Torch Against the Night, and A Reaper at the Gates. I’m super excited to post it because this book series means so much to me.
14. Most Beautiful Book You’ve Bought This Year
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare // Chain of Gold is basically the only book I’ve bought this year, so it’s kind of here as a default. But the cover is very gorgeous, and oh, how I CRIED at the end of this book.
15. Books You Still Need to Read By the End of the Year
The Poppy War by R.F Kuang // Currently reading
Middlegame by Seanan McGuire // Also currently reading since November
Sula by Toni Morrison // Will be a reread
If You Come Softly by Jacqueline Woodson // Will be a first read

Diantha’s Abilities/Skills
Tumblr media
I’ve just thought that maybe I should post exactly what I headcanon as Diantha’s skills and abilities in her main verse on here (which is very long so get a bit comfy), which is traveling with the crew just to be a part of the crew and discover/journal about new islands, not the canon of her training to be Head Priestess like in her sr side stories or ssr side stories (that’s a different verse here where she’s allowed to stay on Xochitl Island~). In both, though, Xolotl does understand Diantha’s inner desire to explore the outside world and gives Diantha, which is very important because:
1 - Prolouge to explaining things) Diantha joins the crew of her own wants, not through Xolotl communicating to her that she must leave the island for a bit. Diantha here is unlike her sr and ssr in that it’s not Xolotl’s initial push that gets her off the island, but her own soul searching to realize that she wants to see the outside world after being on Xochitl Island for so long and being a bit confined-feeling in parts of her life. And she decides this right before the crew of the Grandcypher leaves after the event, trusting them greatly and wanting them to be the crew that she travels with. It’s a decision that would obviously leave the rest of the maidens and Bishop shocked, but ultimately understand her desire; as does Xolotl, voiced through Diola (because she’s super like that y’know?) and Lyria through her new connection with the primal beast. Which leads to ---
2 - How she has powers at all) Diantha keeps her singing powers when she joins the crew, it’s just...Different. What I mean by that is, since Diantha in her main verse is no longer a maiden and no longer very associated with the whole ritual except cheering for her friends, Diantha’s kind of maiden powers would be gone or very weak at best instead of “surprisingly intact” like in her cards. Though Bishop and everyone else already knows this and show concern, Diantha would state that she could handle herself and still do whatever she could to help the crew, and even if Xolotl can sense in his friend that she’s clearly uneased by the thought, her resolve and desire never wavers. Feeling that, and for Diantha being stupid selfless in trying to save her island and Xolotl by herself earlier, that’s when Xolotl gives her his blessing in a different way; infusing a bit of his primal energy into Diantha (my thought is he suddenly appears and boops his gigantic nose onto her head and then whamo~). It’s not a huge amount, seeing as how Diantha is not like Lyria in primal beast energy suction by any means, but 3~5% is certainly enough for Diantha to be basically as powerful as a maiden (maybe even a tad more)...When she can muster a word at least. Which leads to ---
3 - How her power works) Diantha’s singing powers very much fluctuate depending on her feelings, with some skills working much better than others in some instances, and not working at all if she’s unable to properly sing or if there’s no confidence/emotion behind her voice. For my Diantha, in a fight scenario, imagine her having the skills of her summer ssr, except her charged attack is just her instead of all of the girls, since that’s the more available one to people and it coincides with the later headcanons on here~.  A game-mechanic explanation can be summed up like this: If she’s calm and collected, then all of her skills are applied in the best case scenario, her charged attack is used, and everything is okie dokie cow pokie~ If her confidence and happiness is through the wazoo (aka very high), everything in her roster is greatly boosted which, in turn, helps the crew bunches~~~ If she’s mad/angry, Standing Ovation and Onstage are greatly boosted, as is her charge attack, but no other skills (support or otherwise) can be activated. If she’s scared for herself/for the crew’s safety, or sad/grieving, but still able to sing, all of her support skills are greatly boosted, as well as Summer Encore gaining a faster cool down, but no other skills will work and she won’t use her charge attack. If she’s a mix of scared/mad/sad, but can still sing (very extremely rare; probably only possible if say danchouorsomeoneshelovesisdyingordeadlike /shot, and she just sings instead of screaming), everything is boosted like at her happy/confident one but 100% more, but it only lasts probably three turns before she passes out from a literal internal overload, and damages herself (the amount of damage dependent on how all out she goes; if she uses all her skills and her charged attack, she might be out for awhile). If she physically can’t sing, then none of her skills are used, including support, her charged attack can’t be used, and she’s kind of a damsel in distress.
3.5 - Resonating Wand and Tlepilli) Diantha can sing with out the resonating wand and still get almost the same results thanks to Xolotl’s blessing/primal energy infusion~, though she still uses it if she needs a mental boost herself. Any danchou having a tlepilli will actually increase her boosts by at least 10% (though i doubt anyone would actually fight with those) and she actually has a tlepilli of her color in her bag that alone gives her a bit of a happy boost (or could help light the way in a cave or something).
A tl;dr, and also just for writing purposes, of all of 3) and 3.5), is that her feelings and confidence level with her singing can either greatly boost the crew in different ways or do diddly squat. When she first joins the crew it’s definitely no singing or scared singing at first when it comes to actual people (the empire or any event villain you prefer~) because she’s at least a tad used to seeing monsters and being defended from monsters, but then a real bandit sticks a gun up her nose and she’s so scared; poor sweet daughter;;. She gets used to it over time, of course, but it takes awhile, and add it on with her insecurities still kind of haunting her at first and even when she’s gaining confidence she still feels like she could be doing something much more useful and feels kind of like a burden for not being even a decent fighter. It weighs on her mind a lot, but the anxiousness and internal struggle of that eventually turns into a new resolve, and so ---
4 - Her other prominent skill) Diantha, along with still doing some instrument practice, also now practices herbalism and first aid, basically becoming another nurse to the crew. She knows that the fighter life is certainly not for her, so what she deems a more meaningful support role is what she goes for. Thinking about it, probably one of the first things she does with this new resolve is to look to people like Jasmine and ask to be taught all they know, something she’s probably wary on when first joining because she wants to pull her own weight, but something she knows will be important for this new goal in her mind. And she writes everything down; a whole shelf and stack are dedicated to either books they’ve given her/she’s bought from Sierokrate, or to the loads of journals with all her notes and sketches. She reserves the biggest pouch in her satchel for herbal medicines and first aid supplies. The first time she gets sick while this is going on, she refuses to let anyone baby her except for the ones who are helping her learn, and they teach her and help her make medicines (but then also put her to bed because this fervent studying was probably what did it yeah). But she gets great at it; by WMTSB2 she’s dual jobs of support and taking care of wounded, and by WMTSB3 (*birdaphon flashbacks*) knowing almost exactly what to do in any given situation...And it makes her feel really fulfilled too. She’s on good terms with her music by then, and feels really integral to the crew, and all anxiousness or concerns about it are almost completely out the window.
And so that’s the abilities/skills headcanons I have for diantha’s main verse~ Hope you liked reading bunches~

CHAPTER 1 Excerpt – L’anniversaire
The breeze whistled through the night air, cool in the balmy heat of early September. The lights of the city stretched out in a sea of gold flecks, flickering in the reflection of the canals and cobblestone streets. It was quiet in the lazy hours past twilight and the evening crowds had begun to disperse, a scattering of stragglers scurrying quickly to their destinations. The park across the hill was lush, the tree canopies swaying slightly in sharp contrast with the brick and white-stone buildings lining the avenues.
The main throughway opened up to a marbled pavilion in the city center, low shrubbery and flower beds embellishing the walkways that led to the imposing building on the northside of the square. Six slender spires reached toward the heavens, towering above the rest of the skyline.
Kardia Cathedral's heavy wooden door was intricately carved, well-kept but ancient. It was flanked by massive glass mosaics, gleaming in a kaleidoscope of colour. The high pitched roof was covered in curved shingles, coated in patina, and broken only by the main steeple where the polished brass bells tolled midnight.
An elderly couple held hands as they passed under the streetlamps below. Glancing at the church as they made their way, they missed the flicker of movement hidden between the gables.
A lone figure leaned against the belfry with her ankles crossed, allowing the shadows to swallow her form.
Her blonde hair was gathered into two parted pigtails, just brushing her clavicle as her gloved hand idly playing with the strands. She gazed out at her city, a small smile on her lips as her honeyed eyes scanned the horizon, waiting. Those bright orbs were bordered by a slim spotted band, the seams secured flush against her skin.
A near silent thump sounded behind her. She perked her ears as she canted her head towards it but remained otherwise motionless. She bit the inside of her cheek as she heard the pitter-patter of familiar footsteps, her spine relaxing as warmth curled around her waist, spinning her to face her truant companion.
She blinked, staring up into wide roguish jade – a thick onyx mask framing the emerald sparkling in the depths of his irises. The magic of his lenses tinted his eyes in a gold sheen even as his pupils narrowed to slits – utterly feline.
Just like the two black ears peeking through the rosy locks on the crown of his head.
Her back was braced against the stone as the arm released her, one clawed hand coming to rest by her head, while the other stayed out of her sightline. The man leaned over her, close enough that she could count his lashes, but not enough that he was invading her personal space.
She let her gaze travel across the expanse of his broad chest, the dips and rivets of his corded muscles clear under the dark leather of his skin-tight suit. She watched as his lungs expanded with each breath, his thick biceps flexing slightly as he rolled his shoulders with a raspy chuckle.
Her eyes glanced up at the sound, tracing his sharp jawline and the smirk plastered across his face, incisors visible between his lips.
"My Lady." He purred, the deep rumble vibrating through him.
"Chaton."
She giggled, taking her index and pushing on his nose so he stumbled back a few inches, his grin stretching despite the new distance.
She narrowed her eyes at him, seeing the mischief gilding his features – catching on the arm that was still hidden behind his back. His belt hung lazily by his knee like a tail, and she swore if it were real it would be lashing about with leashed energy.
"You've kept me waiting tonight, it's not like you to be late for patrol." Ladybug told him, leaning her weight on her right hip as she crossed her arms. He drank in the pose, the deep ruby of her suit vibrant through his mask – bringing out the bronze in her irises.
"I a-paw-logize, I had to make a quick detour."
Her mouth twitched, biting back amusement as she clicked her tongue.
"That was a terrible pun."
"I think you mean clawesome." Chat Noir winked.
"You are the worst!" She groaned, smacking her forehead at the glee lighting her partner's face. She could hear him snicker as he reached for her hand, his taloned fingers curling around hers as he brought them to his lips.
He kissed her covered knuckles gently, giving her hand a parting squeeze before letting it fall between them.
"Mercy, I'll stop." He promised, his expression soft before it shifted. "I have a peace offering for you."
She cocked an eyebrow in response. His smile widened as he gave an elegant bow, the movement fluid as his concealed arm twisted forward – offering her a single pink rose.
Hesitantly she took the long stem, noticing it had already been clipped of its thorns. He was quiet, watching her carefully after he stood up straight.
"Chat, we've been through this before – you know I'm in love with someone else." She started, her voice a bit strained only for him to raise his hands up in placation.
"I know, don't you worry." He murmured. His grin was still present but it was tempered – his eyes duller than they had been a moment ago. "This is a gift, pure and simple."
She furrowed her brows suspiciously, letting the pad of her thumb brush against the velvet petals as she considered him – mentally doing the math. Her birthday had been last month, though he wouldn't have known it anyway.
He wasn't familiar with her civilian self.
"What for?"
The spark reignited in his eyes as he sauntered up to her, folding his arms behind his head.
"Our anniversary of course."
He sniggered as her jaw dropped slightly, blinking at him owlishly. He waggled his eyebrows at her, pushing the rose closer so she had it braced against her sternum before he crouched to sit over the ledge of the roof.
"It's been two years to the day that I met you," he offered with a simper. "Do you remember it?"
She threw her head back in a laugh, memories flickering behind her eyelids of a small wooden box, a flash of light, and a butterfly.
"I don't think I could forget it if I tried. We really made quite the team back then, didn't we?"
Her fingers grasped onto the side of a buttress, leveraging it so she could settle down next to him. Her legs dangled in the open air, the flower in her lap as she looked at him from beneath her lashes.
"We still do." He answered, letting his shoulder nudge hers slightly – the heat of him lingering as his scent curled around her like tendrils of hickory smoke. He canted his head in her direction, knocking their feet together playfully. "It's always more fun when we're together."
She beamed at him, bumping her own arm against his before looking back out at Magnolia before them.
"Thanks, Minou."
He followed her line of sight, warmth blooming within him as the fragrance of jasmine flooded his senses.
"Anything for you, Buginette."
Two Years Earlier…
"Can you believe it? Her father is the biggest name in art curation in the whole of Earthland—"
"—Her mother was the head choreographer for the Royal Ballet…"
"I heard she was offered a spot as the youngest ballerina in the Crocus Ballet Company!"
It had been like that all morning; the school was flushed with rumours and excitement over their long-expected transfer student. Magnolia Académie des Beaux-Arts was nationally ranked for its performance and design curricula, training the best and brightest young minds as they maneuvered the competitive landscape to rise to the top of their fields.
Some of them had been recruited through the school's local talent discovery programme while still studying for their baccalauréat – attending weekend courses before they had even graduated. Others hailed from every corner of the country, submitting portfolios and audition tapes to secure their spots at the most prestigious institute in Fiore.
Yet despite the considerable gifts of the current student body, the name on everyone's lips today was the same – Lucy Heartfilia.
It wasn't surprising, not really.
She was a familiar figure – gracing the covers of fashion magazines as well as the celebrity stage from a young age. Her family connections had cultivated her public image, though her skills in dance cemented it – proving her own merit, especially among haute society and those within the art community.
And today was going to be her first day at the academy.

1 Samuel 17:1-18:4, John 8:21-30, Psalm 111: 1-10, Proverbs 15:11
Today is the 15th day of May welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it is a joy to be here with you today as we end a week. Another one of the weeks has gone by that we get to share together the voyage across the year. And I guess, sometime about halfway through today will be the dead center of the month as we continue the journey. The journey right now has us in 1 Samuel as we read through the Old Testament. And we are squarely planted in the life of Israel’s 1st king Saul. We’ve also met this young, good looking boy named David and today the whole story is gonna change. And David…I’ve said David’s life and Saul’s life were intertwined from the time they met but it’s gonna be much more apparent. And some of these behaviors that we’ve been examining throughout this week as we look at Saul, and they are the same kinds of behaviors in ourselves and in our culture, well they’re gonna be exasperated because this kid, this little shepherd boy named David is about to become a national hero. So, we’re reading from the Voice this week, which is today. 1 Samuel chapter 17 verse 1 through 18 verse 4.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word. We…we…we earnestly thank You with deepest gratitude for bringing us through this week and every week, every week that we’ve traveled to this point. That we are breathing is a gift and we acknowledge that, and we thank You for bringing us this far into this year. And, so, Holy Spirit as we continue the journey, the journeys that we’ve been on through all the different stories, but the journeys that we are currently on in the monarchy with Saul and David and as we continue to move through the final gospel of John and hear Your words Jesus for the last time, at least in this form, from the scriptures this year we are grateful. And, so, we end this week and release it to You with a heart of gratitude. We are thankful and we are open, and we ask Holy Spirit that You would plant what we’ve learned and what we’ve heard into the soil of our lives, that we would cultivate it, that it might yield fruit for Your kingdom. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayers and Encouragement:
Hi DAB this is Eva from Colorado Springs and I’m just calling to lift up the families with sexual abuse and marriages that are just in crisis. And I…I’m just praying for the Holy Spirit to surround you and to bring healing into your lives and to just bring supernatural...the needs that you need in whatever specific situation you’re in. God is bigger than out situation and it’s…it’s hard to see that sometimes but I know that He is. He’s been in our family. My now, ex-husband, there’s a situation with him and one of my daughters and there’s a court situation coming up in July that two of my daughters and myself have to testify for and I pray that God’s hand would be in that and that justice would prevail, and God’s will would ultimately win and that my daughter would see that God does what is right and good and that God is over all of it. Thank you all for praying for me and for praying for each other in Jesus’ name.
Yes, I’d like to pray, I believe her name was Pathfinder, the lady that’s getting ready to see her mother. I just want to pray for you. Lord, I just pray that You’d be with her Lord God, that You would guide her, that You would put a watch over her mouth Father God. It is so easy for us to throw our opinions on other people, Father God. And I just pray that You would give her a time of peace with her mother, that all those things wouldn’t matter, opinions, likes, dislikes, Lord that they would just not matter at all during this time and that You would just heal this…this relationship Father God. We are so different, we are so selfish, and sometimes we want our way instead of Your way, Father. And I just pray that You would lead and direct her Lord, that she would see Your way in this situation. I pray Father Lord God, that You would just give her the ability to show her mother light and that light is You. And I just thank You Jesus for leading us and guiding our path and just ministering through us. In Jesus’ name.
Hi Daily Audio Bible I’m calling because I would like to thank the girl who prayed the other day for people who are coming out of this season of COVID and are watching so many people getting married and starting families and launching their lives and are still in the waiting and are still waiting on God. And as I was…that prayer was for me. I’m getting older…I’m…I’ve been newly single for 7 months now and I just cannot fight this desire that God’s placed on my heart. And just struggling with patience and struggling with His timing and His will. And I just…I could use prayers specifically for myself as I’m navigating this new world, these new waters. And I…I just kinda…I’m just on my own. I need prayer that I can feel complete in God because I just don’t right now. And it did help though to hear that prayer because I felt like it just…it just hit me as that’s…that’s me. So, thank you so much for anyone who listens, and I appreciate your prayer.
Hi DAB family, I’m Jasmine calling from Virginia. I’m 15 years old and I just want to share 1 thing I’ve heard, and I learned today listening to the podcast. So, Brian had said we don’t have to hide in the baggage we can step forward. So, that reminded me of something I heard on Sunday where it said that there’s no need to worry about what others think of you because at the end of the day the only one who can judge you who created you and knows you best is the Lord. So, I just wanted to encourage people, you guys out there to just own up to that as I try to own up that myself. And, yeah, I love you.
Good morning, my family DABbers. I was listening to the May 11th broadcast and today is actually the 12th but I listened to a lady who was going to visit her mother and I could so relate to everything she had to say. And I just wanted to tell you I lost my sweet mother the day after Mother’s Day May 10th just a couple days ago. And I flew down from my state of Michigan to Florida to be with her the week before she passed - 89. The day before she died on Mother’s Day, she…I was holding her cold hands and she said to me “I love you so much, I love you so much” and she had dementia and…but she had clarity and I can’t tell you how much that meant to me because I too struggled with my relationship. And I just want to encourage you and others out there, life is precious. My mother’s home with Jesus now and I have peace in my heart but spend…spend the time with your mother doing what you say. Guard your words and pray. God will give you the wisdom and He’ll wrap His arms around you as well. God Bless you. I love all the DABbers. I listen every day. So thankful for this broadcast. Have a good day.
Olivia, I can’t remember…have I pressed submit on my first one. This is God’s Smile here. So, I’m gonna start all over again. Forgive me. I want to share with you about Peter and I. I was a young Christian and I’d just come to the Lord and I was very lonely, living alone and suicidal and I asked the Lord for somebody to love me. Little did I know that God’s love was there for me at that time. But he understood. I didn’t pray for a husband, but He gave me Peter. And Peter wasn’t a Christian. And as time go on and we got closer I became aware that I wanted him to be…to know Christ. And one night I was talking to the Lord and I said, “Father if I…I have to choose between you or Peter, it’s You I choose Lord above all else, it’s You. I want You in my life.” And I didn’t want to give Peter up. I wrote him a letter, I bought him a bible, and, in that letter, I told him I loved him and if he wasn’t in my life at some point then these were the verses to lead him to Christ. Well, I gave him this and Peter came to Lord very soon after and so did his mom. I believe in the surrender to Christ giving Peter up for…for God, that He released Peter to me. I don’t know what He’s going to do with you, but I believe if you surrender and listen to the wisdom of other callers, He will bless you and keep you and show you the way you should go. Love, God’s Smile, kiss, kiss. Muah, muah, muah, muah.

Interpretations of Verses About the Desolation of the Church
Tumblr media
By Zhengdao, Germany
One morning, when I sat reading the Bible at the window, I saw these verses: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof” (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
These verses which describe the scenes of the last days aroused my reflections. When pondering these verses carefully, I thought of the present situation of the religious world. Our Christians’ faith and love have become cold. Many of us follow Satan’s evil trends like worldly people, pursuing wealth, rank, and material things. We are wrapped up with the secular world when striving for houses, cars and careers, so that we are unable to extricate ourselves from all the pains of life. And even many religious leaders, pastors and elders also pursue the world. Some of them take advantage of churches to open up factories; some of them scramble for the lectern, raise envy and strife, and form factions; some of them steal God’s sacrifices, embezzle and forcibly occupy believers’ offerings, etc. Now most of believers have only a godly appearance but not a godly essence. We are only Christians in name, but in reality, we are not following the way of the Lord, so when we do something against God, we don’t feel guilty. Even when we pray to the Lord Jesus, we cannot obtain peace and joy. As a result, we become dark and depressed in the spirit, and cannot feel God.
I stood up to look out upon the scene, and saw a withered winter jasmine. I couldn’t refrain from feeling somewhat misty-eyed.
Now brothers and sisters are trapped in sin and have no path to practice; we are thirsty in the spirit, but our churches have no good shepherds who can water and supply us. While the preachers also have no light and no enlightenment, so they can only preach some clichéd doctrines and theories, such as loving our neighbor, loving our family, maintaining original faith and not leaving God, and so on. We receive no edification of life from them, so that our spiritual conditions become worse and worse. As a result, some believers treat gatherings as a procedure or even do not come to meetings anymore; some churches have to close down, for the meeting attendance numbers are way down.
These phenomena of today’s churches reminded me of the end of the Age of Law. At that time, the temple was in chaos, and turned into a den of thieves where cattle and sheep were sold and money was exchanged. Priests committed sins but heavenly fire no longer fell down to burn them; although believers violated commandments and laws, they were not punished. This was because the Holy Spirit had done a new work in other places: The Lord Jesus was spreading the gospel of the kingdom of heaven and preaching the way of repentance everywhere. So, at that time, the people were bereft of God’s guidance who stubbornly stuck to the laws of the Old Testament in the temple and did not accept the work of the Lord Jesus. Is there any difference between the situation of the religious world at present and that at the end of the Age of Law?
The next day, I sent my knowledge of the desolation of the church to my Facebook friend Jack, who is also a Christian. Later, Jack responded to my message:
“After reading your message, I thought of some scriptures: ‘And also I have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city: one piece was rained on, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered. So two or three cities wandered to one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have you not returned to me’ (Amos 4:7-8).Said the Lord Jehovah, ‘Behold, the days come,  that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Jehovah’ (Amos 8:11). Now believers are becoming indifferent in their faith, and preachers have nothing to preach about. In fact, within this lies God’s will. When God causes famine to befall the religious world, those who sincerely believe in Him and love the truth are forced to look for a church with the work of the Holy Spirit.”
Afterward, he sent me another message:
“God’s words say: ‘God will accomplish this fact: He will make all people throughout the universe come before Him, and worship the God on earth, and His work in other places will cease, and people will be forced to seek the true way. It will be like Joseph: Everyone came to him for food, and bowed down to him, for he had things to eat. In order to avoid famine people will be forced to seek the true way. The entire religious community is suffering severe famine, and only the God of today is the wellspring of living water, possessed of the ever-flowing wellspring provided for the enjoyment of man, and people will come and depend on Him.’ ‘As such, since we are searching for the footprints of God, we must search for God’s will, for the words of God, for the utterances of God—for where there are the new words of God, there is the voice of God, and where there are the footsteps of God, there are the deeds of God. Where there is the expression of God, there is the appearance of God, and where there is the appearance of God, there exists the truth, the way, and the life.’”
“I think of Canaan’s famine. At that time, only by walking out of the area of famine and coming to Joseph for food could people survive the disaster. Another example: When the Lord Jesus came to do His work, the temple had become desolate. Only through leaving the temple and accepting the gospel of the Lord Jesus could people gain God’s salvation. Just as Peter, John and others, they accepted the watering and nourishing of the Lord, and thus had new light and the path of practice. As a result, they not only had gained the work of the Holy Spirit, but had obtained the Lord’s redemption. Likewise, now the whole religious world becomes seriously desolate, and God wishes that we can take the initiative to look for His footprints. The Lord Jesus said, ‘Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you’ (Matthew 7:7). It is also prophesied many times in Revelation, ‘He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches’ (See Revelation 2-3). The Lord’s words make it very clear that when He returns in the last days, He will still speak words, and that He has reminded us to actively search and pay attention to listening to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches. Therefore, what we should do is not only pray to the Lord, but be a wise virgin to open the door to welcome Him. We should find a church where there are expressions of the truth, and where the Holy Spirit is at work; when listening to the way they preach, we should consider whether it can supply our spirits, whether it can resolve the problem of our sins, and so on. The Lord once said: ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me’ (John 14:6). Therefore, only when we find the words and utterances of God can we receive the watering of the living water and the provision of life, and solve the desolation of our church. Only in this way can we be brought into the kingdom of heaven by God and obtain the eternal life in the end.”
After I read Jack’s messages, my heart could not calm down for a long time. I thought: “That’s right! The Lord said it so clearly in His words. ‘Seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you’ (Matthew 7:7). ‘He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches’ (See Revelation 2-3). Why did I not think of this? It seems that if I want to get out of this trouble, I need to actively seek and investigate the church with the Holy Spirit. Only then can I regain God’s supply and guidance, and thoroughly free myself from the desolate condition of the church.”
At that time, with a released smile, I began to type to reply him …

1 ) Oh night which contains stars in its sky ; and which is the friend of the man of love , and the man of sorrow .. 2 ) did you know me ! or you still try to know who am I ?… yes I’m Hamdan bin Maktoum .. 3 ) I’m Hamdan ; who can understand the people’s emotions but also he can’t understand his emotions .. 4 ) he loves always get his glory and prestige by his arm , not by any other way .. 5 ) my eye became different , from now it loves the vigilance at night , but the others people’s eyes still love sleeping 6 ) if you thought that all this is from someone’s high value .. I will reply you that your thought is wrong ; although this someone is a big thing for me .. 7 ) if I feel tired from who I love , between my chest I will show you my tiredness .. i still with you awake , and feel the excitement of the wakefulness .. 8 ) and I have news from the time .. which I translated it for you by the poem of the poet and everything is related to the poet’s rules is always under control 9 ) and me from my childhood , I always prefer the rare verses of poems .. the thoughts excite me ، and the best one can expresses what I have secretly in my chest ..I can draw the way of rhyme , and the meaning always be clear and pure .. 10 ) and the poet who has fans whose always be like the sponsors for him ; and always promote him , be sure that the glory will always be with him 11 ) patience and faith is for faithful person ; always the right way and the final destination .. I always have a prospect , even you said that everything finished and have its final destination 12 ) and for other people who challenge me from the whole world ، they must let the envy and pride far away from them .. 13 ) my spiritual is so sporty , and my heart is so pure ..I’m in a different side and the malevolent person in the other extreme side .. 14 ) I always agree to congratulate the winner by myself , although he won upon me .. and i welcome him at the ( El-Marmom ) 15 ) and who doesn’t obligy himself to respect me ! I obligy myself to respect him ; because I have a good morals always in my head , and I learnt all that from my grandfather at my childhood .. 16 ) if all birds have in them wing a feather , be sure that the people who owns falcons can know the difference between all of them .. if they saw them ! they never turning their eyes away from them .. 17 ) and people who implants garlic , don’t implants it between the Basil, foliage and jasmine ; be careful people love flowers’s smell ; but not garlic’s smell ..and the commandment of the leader to the small leader who is his son ; that he must be sure that it’s not matter if the knight fell down from his horse billion times with repetition .. if he wasn’t a real knight ! be sure that he wasn’t fell down at all .. any real knight must be brave .. but the most important thing that the knight must be able to rise up again … and for me ! who think that my eyes’ s tears will fall down ! say for him that be sure that all plame is upon him , and if it fell I still brave as am I 18 ) and the commandment of the leader to the small leader who is his son , that he must be sure that it's not matter if the knight fell down from his horse million times with repetition .. if he wasn't a real knight ! be sure that he wasn't fell down at all .. any real knight must be brave ; but the most important thing that the knight must able to rise up again 19 ) and for me ! who think that my eyes' s tears will fall down ! say for him that be sure that all plame is upon him , and if it fell I still brave as am I .. 20 ) there is a mercy of God and it is enough for all people , from Adam's day until that day .. who wish his mercy ! he can get it , and who forbid it ! he is forbidden already .. and if you see someone who is blessed with his grace ! don't say ever why you gave him and not gave it to me .. it's his luck and you have also your .. and remember that one day to you ; and the another upon you 21 ) if you made the unjust is the winner and the oppressed who lose ! Woe to you from God , Be careful from his invitation !because Allah always with the weak people .. 22 ) and be sure that only our prophet Mohammed is the private one who is infallible from any wrongs .. Unlike people who can be right or wrong .. and who compliments the villain ! looks like who wear clothes but appears without clothes .. 23 ) and that is my message for my friends and also my enemies who have poison thoughts ! which I sent it by the express mail .. and I didn't appear what I think about to others , but I appeared what happen in the ominous reality .. do all of you found my words clear for all ! Do all of them understandable or not?

» The Horse and His Boy (Chronicles of Narnia #5) by C.S. Lewis
***3.5 Stars***
The Horse and His Boy is about a young boy named Shasta that escapes eminent enslavement by fleeing with a Narnian horse named Bree.  Along the way Shasta & Bree make a few new friends, and uncover a scheme that puts the citizens of Narnia in great danger.  In a race against time, Shasta must alert the Kings & Queens of Narnia. » I really enjoyed expanding upon this world created by Lewis’ and learning more about the different nations other than Narnia.
» I adored the characters, Shasta & Aravis.  I think they were well-developed and were given sufficient backstory.  I was invested in their journey and was rooting for them to succeed.
» As far as the plot line goes, the story was filled with plenty of adventure that has been commonplace in the Narnia series. » The climax of the story, the battle, felt anti-climactic and rushed.
» This installment felt disconnected from the series as a whole.  The Horse and His Boy does not following any of the main characters from the previous books, nor are they featured in any significant way.  Instead of feeling like the 5th installment in the series, it felt more like a companion novel set within the same world. The Horse and His Boy has been my least favorite book in the Narnia series thus far, but still an enjoyable read.  If I had to rank the Chronicles of Narnia series thus far, it would be 1) Chronicles of Narnia, 2) The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, 3) The Silver Chair, 4) Prince Caspian, and 5) The Horse and His Boy.
› Recommended to ⇒ fans of animal stories; fans of adventure stories
› If you like this series, try ⇒ The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
» The Queen of Attolia (The Queen’s Thief #2) by Megan Whalen Turner
» Much like the first book, Whalen proves to be a very unreliable author.  Turner loves to throw her readers for a loop.  I fell for it in The Thief, and I fell for it here as well.
» I really enjoy Whalen’s characterization.  Eugenides is still a favorite character.  He is clever, funny, brave, and also flawed.  I feel like we got to know Gen a lot better in this book.  I also really enjoyed the complexity of the Queen of Attolia’s character.  I love when an author can make me feel a strong feeling for a charter in the beginning, and make me change my mind by the end.
» If I could describe Whalen’s plotting in one word it would be clever.  This story was filled with inventive maneuvering by key players.» The pacing of this series is on the slow side.  Almost too slow.
» I feel like this book was missing a lot of the humor that I fell in love with in the first book.
» There wasn’t enough of The Magus in this book.  I missed the witty banter between Gen and The Magus. The Queen’s Thief series has so much going for it: complex characters, political intrigue, and an abundance of twists and turns.   If you are looking for a fast-paced and action-packed series, this is not it.  If you are looking for a clever story that will surprise you time after time, give this series a go!
› Recommended to ⇒ fans of political intrigue
› If you like this series, try ⇒  The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
» The Smartest Kids in the World: And How They Got That Way by Amanda Ripley
The Smartest Kids in the World was a very interesting look at the ways different countries  (U.S, Finland, South Korea, and Poland) approach education. » You could tell this book was written by someone with a background in journalism.  I really liked how Ripley not only included all her research, but she also gives us a humanized story by including the experiences of exchange students.
» I learned so much about some of the different approaches to education that exist.  Some of my takeaways…
The U.S. focuses too much on technology, which is not linked to higher academic achievement.
Instead of glorifying sports & athletes, we should be encouraging competition within the classroom.  Peers that prioritize education will drive other students to do better.
We do not hold our teachers to the high standards that we should be holding them to.  Also, we do not value our teachers as we should.
We make far too many excuses as to why education here in the U.S. has fallen behind so many other developed countries.
»  I appreciated that Ripley was not afraid to call out the U.S. for our shortcomings when it comes to education.» I would have liked to see Ripley include more from the teachers perspectives in each of these countries.  I wish Ripley would have conducted surveys of teachers to see more about what they think works or doesn’t work.I learned a lot about the different approaches to education while reading this book.  It definitely gave me a lot to think about.
› Recommended to ⇒ those interested in education; parents
› If you liked this book, try ⇒ The Read-Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease
» Other Words for Home by Jasmine Warga
This was an absolutely beautiful middle grade book about a girl and her mother who come to the U.S. as Syrian refugees.»  Other Words for Home is told in verse, and the writing was absolutely stunning.  If you are a fan of Jacqueline Woodson and/or Thanhha Lai, you will appreciate this book.
» This is such an important middle grade book because it deals with a refugee experience with mild tones of Islamophobia.  Warga handles these topics with care & authenticity.
» Jude was such a lovely main character.  I appreciated her quiet strength & determination.  She is an excellent role model for the MG audience.Other Words for Home will be making an appearance on my “best of 2019 reading” list.  Highly recommend!

Feminine Energy Rising
Tumblr media
Have you been experiencing some mood swings and/or finding yourself in emotional states; and may not even be able to connect them to anything happening in your life?  Have you be experiencing thoughts or feelings that felt like things were hopeless or that you were failing in life; and started wondering what is the point of it all?  Maybe you have been one of the many that have been beyond overwhelmed and wondered, what if I just walk away from it all?
Well you are definitely not alone.  Even, I went through this; regardless of shifts into a more coded space.  Now, last week, I talked a bit about the Pineal Gland; and we know that connects with states of depression and hopelessness.  We also know that it is connected to being in stores, under lights, in crowds where everyone is using computers or cell phones, and also through other day to day electronics like microwaves and t.v.’s.
As with many things; when I get these mood swings show up in my life, I get the drive to understand it and turn it over to my codes to show me what is happening.  So let’s look at some of the foundational pieces of this.
Depression and overwhelm both have code patterns that are connected to revolutionary energy patterns.  We get these feelings when we are in something too long, or when we need to break free of something and don’t know how to do it; and solutions to what is frustrating us seem to be very evasive.
The sense of failure will show up when we become overwhelmed with the responsibilities that we have in life.  This is a sure indication that we need to simplify and take a look at what we are trying to support; how much of it is for “stuff”.
Our feelings of being hopeless; actually bring an interesting twist in things; because they are coded to the multi-verse; and connected to helping us find our own power and take command of our life.  This is often something that may surface when we are ready to transform further into a spiritual lifestyle than a material one.
This piece here is an important one because it is what really connects us to what is behind all of these things coming up.  They are coming up as we continue to shift from a patriarchal energy pattern to a matriarchal energy pattern.  It comes as yet another attempt for the Masculine and Feminine to come into harmonic balance instead of swinging a wide pendulum spending long periods of time on one or the other; creating all kinds of non-sustainable extremes.
The material world is representative of the masculine and patriarchal rule; while the feminine has a greater connection to the spiritual realms.  During this last period of Patriarchal rule we have seen the development of competition on all levels.  We have seen the growth of industry, business, production, and in more recent years the attempts to alleviate all “human” elements with machines and equipment, electronics and gadgets; which have been sold to us as “cool” “needed” and even “valuable.
So now as the transition or passing of the baton happens once again, which actually started back around 2000, and then hit another growth stage around 2012, and is followed by more and more feminine energy portals; people are finding themselves struggling to survive in the masculine energy patterns.  The reality of it is, that we are not supposed to stay in these patterns.  We are not to hold onto this high level of material pursuits; because as we do we will experience a conflict with the matriarchal ruling energy.
Look around the world today, as the material things are being destroyed right down to the end of the Earth.  The fear of the masculine is what is behind the drive to remove all human elements from things.  It fears the way it has treated the feminine energy over the last 2000 years; and worries how it will be treated in her reign during the next 2000 years.
So in essence these feelings are emotions that have been suppressed that are rising amidst the transformation of our planet.  It is coming up from trying to continue to function on the masculine energy patterns.  When we look at the codes of emotion/s and being emotional, we find that it is about working together.  It is about independence and creativity; and the harvest that comes from our thoughts and how much we are implementing true wisdom and not just logic.  It is about creating loving partnerships and uniting as a team.
For many, especially those on masculine energy patterns, they are feeling lost and afraid as this transformation continues to shape and take form.  The fear and panic causes more extreme action as they worry about not being in control.  They are lost how to act and be without competition, judgment, and blaming.
This is not much different from when the feminine became lost; when it was no longer allowed to show emotions, when the intuitive was made out to be evil, when caring about people became a crime.  Think of any major life change that you have been through, like moving across the country or even to a new country; or how about even changing careers or starting a family.  The transition into this was filled with all kinds of uncertainties and questions.  A whole spectrum of emotions went through you as you made adjustments into your new environment or lifestyle; but eventually, you found your flow in it.
While it is important to embrace the Feminine Energy Rising in our world; and to learn to take feminine approaches to life we will find the emotional extremes settling down.  The Feminine Energy for the 21st Century that we are in is all about balance and partnerships.  It is about people; unifying them, creating harmonious relationships with them, developing friendships and relationships.  It is not the feminine archetype of the past; but seeks out her true partner.  Thus why there has been bigger and bigger surges in people to find their soul-mates, twin flames, and true partnership connections.  She seeks to rule in union.
So with this being said; being a workaholic, and competing with others, and pulling the human factor out of things are all hitting their breaking points.  These patterns no longer work in the direction we are heading.  Yes, there are options for when we experience these periods of all kinds of emotions, depression, hopelessness, and having had enough or not being good enough.
We can expect to be hit harder with these feelings when we have a strong set of Masculine planetary forces at play; such as what we get in early April when there is heavy Mars energy or planetary alignments that create turbulence in relationships.  July and August can also be heavily emotional for many as they go through releasing the blocked and pent up emotions and deal with the masculine ego.
So when we are feeling these surges here are some things you can use and implement to help you connect with the feminine energy and unify the masculine and feminine into a team.
1)  talk things out - whether you talk with yourself or others or God or your guides, talking gives an outlet for the emotions and feelings; and helps to diffuse them down.  It is important, whenever possible, to talk about things openly and honestly if others are involved.
2)  Listen - one thing that loving mother’s do well, is really listen.  They don’t try to solve everything; but they listen, empathize, and from there know that a solution will unfold.  Many times we aren’t taking the time to really see what is happening, or hear what is being said; and until we do can’t know which way to go.
3)  have a cup of tea - even science can’t deny the soothing properties of a good cup of tea.  Make mine Matcha or Green Tea or perhaps Jasmine.  Whatever or flavor is some herbal tea can give us the opportunity to just stop and unwind for a minute.  Don’t do anything but just focus on enjoying that cup of tea.  I used to like to drink mine outside on my deck while taking some deeper breaths.  Green Teas can be very restorative with the antioxidants that they offer up; or Ginger to help us digest things - even the emotions and challenges that we face
4)  take a walk - walking releases more than just endorphins. Many cities have rails to trails or parks and places to walk.  Even if you don’t walk around your town a bit or drive a short distance to go somewhere you can.  Don’t spend the walk communicating and texting; but just walk and see what is there.  Too many don’t even know what is on their own block; and when you walk slow and really take your time you can clear all kinds of stress and tensions.
5)  play - why do you think so many mother’s would tell their children to go play?  It wasn’t just because they wanted a little peace and quiet.  Playing allows us to step out of our worries and anxieties
6)  peace and quiet and stillness - it is amazing how much you can hear when you turn of all the noise.  Part of how our bodies and minds get the greatest restoration is through allowing time being quiet.  Try just listening to the sound of a breeze blowing through the trees, or the ocean crashing on the shore, or a water fountain.
7) fresh air and nature - even a few minutes of fresh air can help.  Nature is the essence of the feminine in so many ways; and can be incredibly nurturing in multiple ways for us.  Remember those tree huggers?  Well they were just a bit ahead of their time; internally if not consciously they knew the value of hugging a tree.  It offers up an unconditional loving connection with the planetary feminine essence.  It was the feeling of giving and receiving unconditionally that was intoxicating.
8) place people first - the proverbial loving mother places happiness over stuff.  She places health over status.  This comes back around to talking and connecting with others.  Play games with your children, meet in person with your friends, get involved in a group, take a class.  Even if you think someone is getting what they deserve; love them anyways.  The mother energy only cares that her child hurts and not whether they deserved it; and then teaches the child how to deal with what they created and how to create different outcomes.  Electronics destroy the feminine through separation and isolation - ummm can we say brainwashing - the exact tactics used in brainwashing.
9) rest - yep, the phrase sleep on it really rings true in connecting with the feminine.  Sometimes, that is a good night’s rest; and sometimes that is a full on retreat.  Rest allows us to tap into our ability to observe and step out of judgment.  It allows us to see what is really happening; and to provide necessary renewal
10) resourcefulness - it is not about having more, it is about working with what we have.  Just like it is not about buying a child more toys, it is teaching them to be creative with simple things that are free.  Build a sandcastle, create stepping stones, get an assortment of odds and ends and let yourself see what you can do with them.  I have seen old shoes become planters.  I have seen a feast created out of a couple of items sitting in a pantry.
11) love - just love - simple as that.  No conditions, no expectations, no need for return, just love.  To love for no reason and even when we have been programmed not to, is truly one of the most freeing thins there is.  It opens us in a truly abundant and incredible way.
12) journey - whether you are talking about maneuvering through life, or literally taking a trip; take time to just journey.  Don’t place a destination or goals or need to meet or do something on yourself; just wander a little, go and do and see what happens in the process.  This allows for great spontaineity; and to truly experience what is happening for you.  Don’t force yourself to go to a log cabin when you really want to be on the beach or vice versa.  In work, family, and personal development; just head in a direction and see what that offers you.  Release the plans, and move with the moment.  Flow is truly of the feminine essence; so lighten up those schedules so you can allow for the detours and scenic drives your heart needs to explore
13)  embrace your emotions - yes, they are a human factor; but they are also what separates us from being robots.  The whole spectrum of emotions are incredible guideposts for helping us to understand what is happening.  The mother does not tell the child to stop their pain; but offers up comfort in that pain.  Emotions can also show us where we are being too human, too consumed by the material world and are a reminder to honor connection with spirit.
14) know what you have to work with - know your assets; and there are many of them.  A mother always has more than plan A ready to go; and doesn’t worry about what can be done with fancy tools and things, but works with what she has in the moment.  In being connected to your assets and resources (and there is always enough) you increase your confidence, and thus minimize your challenges.  This also brings a greater relationship to yourself; and who you are
15)  Nourish yourself - there is nothing like good nourishment of body, mind, and spirit to allow you to handle anything that you want.  This means time for you and not just everyone else.  This means doing things that bring true pleasure and happiness (p.s. - they are always free)
The more the masculine disappears; the more people tend to feel insecure, lack confidence, and question their safety.  Fears arise; because the masculine energy patterns live for what is outside instead of what is inside.  Learning to surrender to the experience and allow ourselves to relax into the flow will be quite powerful.  For it is in doing this that we will experience true safety; because we become self reliant and operate from divine connection.  We listen to our intuitive nudges and balance them with reason.
A sense of safety is key; because it is the foundation to operating within the blessings of Divine Will.  It is where we begin to find our joy and peacefulness.

While the preachers also have no light and no enlightenment, so they can only preach some clichéd doctrines and theories, such as loving our neighbor, loving our family, maintaining original faith and not leaving God, and so on. We receive no edification of life from them so that our spiritual conditions become worse and worse. As a result, some believers treat gatherings as a procedure or even do not come to meetings anymore; some churches have to close down, for the meeting attendance numbers are way down.
These phenomena of today’s churches reminded me of the end of the Age of Law. At that time, the temple was in chaos and turned into a den of thieves where cattle and sheep were sold and money was exchanged.
