A Look At September 2024

A Look At September 2024
September is going to put a strong emphasis on relationships, partnerships, and friendships in our life.  Too often it is easy to take for granted the people that care about us.  We may not always keep up with them, because we know they will still be there when we need them. Lives get busy and communications get lost in all that has to be done.  However, these are the times that it is very important to draw on and appreciate these valuable connections in our life.
When things are hard, that is when we need to ask for help from those that truly care about us.  Or, that is when we need to offer help to others.  Whether times are good or bad, heavy or joyful; it is important that we take the time for the relationships that we value in life.  In our valuable relationships, it doesn’t have to be doing anything.  It can simply be spending time together, going for a walk, or sitting down over a cup of tea or coffee in your own home.  It is really just about connecting and not having to do anything.  Time is often one of the hardest things for us to find these days; making it even more valuable to give to someone.
We may have challenges with those that are operating in heavy materialism.  They will lie or bring up very hurtful things, simply to try to break our Spirit.  Another reason why we need time with those that actually care about us.  It is easy to feel nothing works out at this time; but that wouldn’t really be true.  It is a time where we can see upheavals and revolution between those that are corrupt, and those that are standing in the Soul Self.  This can lead life to feel very heavy.  However, when we stand in Spirit and align with God and the Soul Self, then we will find our way through.  When we are feeling broken, then we need to honor time with those that truly love and care about us.  It hurts when those that have so much, try to take from those that have next to nothing and are barely surviving.  However, even in that pain, great strength is being built.  Remember, we do not have to be around those that are abusive to us.
Fortunately, this is a time where abundance is flowing.  Even if we are facing strong challenges, we are likely to still be feeling as if we have enough; especially where we are able to continue to carry out our own ideas and plans.  It is a time where we are able to find the courage to face our hardships and to continue to see things through to completion.  Even if sacrifices have to still be made, we are able to see successes coming through.  There is hope and possibility arising; no matter how challenged we feel.  If we are in a strong position and doing well; this is a great time to give a little assistance to those that are struggling to help themselves.  This doesn’t always have to be money.  Sometimes, it can be a room to stay in for a little while, or even a good healthy meal.  When we do this, we plant seeds of success for the person that we are helping and also for ourselves.
I welcome you to draw on and appreciate the valuable connections in your life.  What if they are happy to be there for you, if you will let them?
I welcome you to ask for the help that you need or offer it up to others.  What if sometimes, help is just about spending a little time with those that you love and care about?
I welcome you to stand strong in Spirit; regardless of what tries to break your Spirit.  What if this is the way through; especially when everything is feeling so hard, painful, and depleted?
I welcome you to embrace where abundance is flowing, and where successes are happening.  What if this gives you the courage to face hardships and see things through to completion?
From September 1st through 21st, we find that things are not moving forward as quickly as we want or in the way that we want.  In many ways, this is a time of awakening; and when awakening is happening, we are sometimes brought into stagnation.  Lies, deceit, and manipulation by others may have led us in unfavorable directions which we are just now beginning to see.  It is important that we make the adjustments to bring things back into Divine Alignment; even if we have to walk alone and break away from others in that process.  Nothing can move forward until we do this.
Relationships, partnerships, and friendships that are true can be very valuable to us during this time.  However, it is likely that their strength and loyalty will be tested by those that are seeking power and control over others.  We can find that some friends end up betraying us because they are being blackmailed in some way and are too afraid of losing things if they support us.  It is important that we don’t allow others to bully us, silence us, and restrict our freedoms and rights.  Abuses are likely to get hard on those that don’t comply with what corruption and abusers want.  If we value friendships, then we need to keep strong communications open and don’t let others use lies to divide us and pit us against each other.
We also have to be very careful of reactions and strong emotions during this time.  It is not a good time to be traveling, around construction areas, using power tools, or around heavy equipment.  Accident and death energy are present, making accidents are more likely to happen.  Extra attention needs to be used for everything; and the more that we feel like we are breaking down, the more likely we are to get in accidents and find ourselves in danger.  It is best for us to consciously close things out with love and to realize what has no place in our future.  The choices we make have a powerful impact on the direction that we take; so, we want to focus on breaking through as much as we can during this time.
It is much easier than normal to be triggered by injustices and lies.  We need to remove our emotional charge from things and look at the actual facts around things.  This will help us to see things with a clearer perspective and to learn what needs to be done and can be done.  It is a great time to draw on others with the wisdom to know what to do.  They may be able to show how different choices could play out and what possibilities are available to us in standing up for what is right in appropriate ways.  They will know how to help us to be successful with our efforts.
I welcome you to embrace the awakenings that you are having.  What if they are showing you where and how things need to be adjusted, so that you can move forward in Divine Alignment?
I welcome you to keep communications with others strong and don’t let others come between you.  What if those that turn against you at this time, are only doing so because of lies and fear?
I welcome you to pay extra attention to what you are doing and all that is happening around you.  What if this keeps you and others safe from unnecessary accidents?
I welcome you to look at the actual facts around things without highly charged emotions.  What if others can help guide you to know how to handle things and to see how your different options might play out?
From September 22nd through the end of the month, we are being called to be careful with how we are using our power in the world.  It is important that we are not using it to compete with others and to make ourselves appear as better than them.  We do not want to use it to pursue fame and fortune; or, what we receive will be taken from us.  We sit on the energy of the Wheel of Fortune.  Things can go in any direction; and it depends on how we are using our power.  If we are working from kindness, then well thought out risks can work out well.  If we are coming from greed or hate, then we are likely to take some hard falls.
The energy feels a bit contradictory during this time.  On one hand, we are seeing successes and things are flowing well.  On the other hand, we are feeling challenged by those that are misusing their power and turning people on each other with lies.  Lies, unfairness, and a lack of integrity bring revolutions, upheaval, and strife.  This is all about an attempt to control people and lead them in unfavorable directions.  Again, it is important that we do not battle, compete, or fight with those in that space.  Instead, we want to take lawful action and let the facts be what brings them down.  There are always appropriate and lawful ways to bring the facts out; which will always dissolve the lies that are being told.
This is a great time to focus on our own ideas and plans.  We have the potential to be successful with them; especially where we draw on the wisdom of others.  Others can really help to inspire us and help us to find ways to imprint our own style into things.  All forms of the arts are favored.  Others may teach us new things.  It this is a good time for learning new techniques or ways that can help our plans to be more successful.
Power and control are on the surface.  This is a time where we could see some turnover in corrupt leaders.  It is likely they will be exposed for their tyranny and corruption.  This is likely to lead more people to pull away from being part of groups and to take their power back.  This is going to have to be done if we are to create healing in body, mind, and Spirit.  People will need time to process what is happening with world leaders and the tyrannical structures that are being shown at this time.  We come to realize that no one is truly going to take care of us but ourselves.  It is important that we honor what we need to do for our own personal care during this time.
I welcome you to be careful with how you are using your power in the world.  What if the more we misuse our power, the more that we will lose; while the more we are working from wisdom and kindness, the more we will gain?
I welcome you to be careful to take action and not allow others to provoke you into reaction.  What if there are always appropriate and lawful ways to do things through the facts; and it will be the facts that will dissolve the lies?
I welcome you to be open to learning from others.  What if they can share things that will help your plans to be more successful?
I welcome you to take your power back from those that are operating in tyrannical ways.  What if this will also create healing in body, mind, and Spirit for you?
In Summary, appreciate the connections that are valuable to you.  Take time to connect with those that love and care about you.  Stand in Spirit to see your way through things.  Embrace your true abundance.  Embrace any awakenings that are happening for you.  Keep strong communications with the relationships and friendships that are important for you.  Take extra precautions to avoid accidents.  Allow others to help you see how your different choices could play out.  Be careful with how you are using your power in the world.  Find lawful and appropriate ways to bring the facts out.  Take time to process things that are happening in your life and the world.
What To Focus Our Actions On
This monthis a time where we are able to break free and be victorious over what has challenged and tested us for a long time.  We are able to pass the initiations that we have been under and break free from those situations that are repressive and restrictive for us.  People are wanting a sense of adventure and to be in exploration.  This is a great time to try new things and to explore the deeper aspects of everyday things that we often take for granted.  It is all about being able to appreciate what is simple, authentic, and natural.
Lies, deception, and manipulation are strong from others.  Truth is being exposed, and what has been hidden cannot hide any longer.  It is important that we don’t join others in the lies and that we maintain the strength to stand in truth and integrity, even if we are standing alone.  People can become more vindictive than normal as they try to keep their lies and corruption hidden.  We do not need to battle with them; but only need to hold our light strong.
I welcome you to try new things and explore the deeper aspects of everyday things that you take for granted.  What if it is really about learning to appreciate what is simple, authentic, and natural?
I welcome you to hold your light strong where others are choosing lies and corruption.  What if you do not have to battle them; but need only keep your light going through truth and integrity?
What To Focus Our Thoughts On
From September 1st through September 9th, there are strong desires to live more freely in the world.  It is a time where people are having victories over what has been restrictive for them.  We will see more and more people giving up excesses in life, in order to be able to focus on things of true value.  People are wanting to have experiences and time to actually enjoy life; instead of just working all of the time.  Even if we love what we do, we need to have time to get our own experiences and to do things that are not tied to working.
Lies, deception, and manipulation are really abundant during this time.  They are particularly being used to hold people in their addictions, to make them feel weak and powerless, to remove personal accountability, and to restrict their freedom and ability to think for themselves as much as possible.  We are likely to see attempts to sabotage those that are standing in truth and integrity.  This shows us that those who are working in corruption and lies are standing in fear.  They fear the truth coming up; but cannot see that it is already coming out.  Remember, it takes just 1 person standing in truth and integrity for things to be seen for what they really are.
I welcome you to be victorious over what is restrictive for you.  What if this is about realizing what holds true value and what is just material excess in your life?
I welcome you to realize that the more you stand in truth and integrity, the more powerful you become.  What if it takes just 1 person standing in truth and integrity to allow things to be seen for what they really are?
From September 10th through September 25th, we must work strongly with caution and wisdom.  Mistakes and accidents can be deadly during this time.  Danger is more evident; especially if we have not learned from our past choices.  The key is to transform things and don’t give up until you get a breakthrough.  Everything is working to break us down; but we need to find the strength within us to push through things.  Our choices have a powerful impact on what direction our life takes; and if we make the breakthroughs that we need to make and don’t let people and things hold us back then we will put ourselves on a path that creates a favorable and stable future.
This is a time where we are likely to be learning a lot.  We are learning about ourselves, our priorities, our triggers, our breaking points, and our plans.  This is a time where our illusions about how success works, may be broken.  It is tempting to lash out at those that are seeing successes; but are aligned with corruption.  Or, to realize that most really big successes are only there because of sacrificing morals and values.  On the positive side, those in Divine Alignment will be making strong progressions at this time.  However, this is also likely to lead them to come under attack by those that are not wanting them to progress and who are working against Divine Presence in the world.  On the bigger world stage, we will see everything from attacks on character to literal assassination attempts being made on those that are working for the people and upholding God and Divine Presence in the world.
I welcome you to find the strength to push through things and get your breakthroughs.  What if your choices and ability to do this, have a strong impact on the direction that your life takes?
I welcome you to embrace any progression that you are making and don’t let others stop you from moving forward.  What if the attacks you get, are simply a way to try to control you and scare you from seeing things through; and proof that corruption is losing power?
From September 26th through the end of the month, we are finding ways to express ourselves in the world through our own ideas and plans.  This is a time that we are learning more about what our style really is and how to express it in what we are doing.  We are favored for connecting with others and learning how they have done things.  All forms of the arts have the ability to inspire us.  It is important to get out and have some fun and be a bit spontaneous.  The key is to not do things out of urgency, pressure, force, fear, and impulsiveness.  Remember, that spontaneity is always an invitation to participate; while impulsiveness is a forced or manipulated action.
Power battles are likely to surface between those that want power and control over others and those that want to live freely in the world.  This is a great time for us to learn more about how to develop our own skills.  While it may not always be as convenient to do things ourselves; it is important to realize that we will never truly benefit by turning our power over to governments, centralized organizations and structures, and others to make choices for us.  When we do that, we will lose everything.  One of the great things about self-sufficiency, is that it often brings more balance into our life.  It gives us one of the greatest gifts that we can have; which is freedom.
I welcome you to learn more about what your style really is and how to express it in what you are doing.  What if getting out and having fun and being spontaneous, can help you to do this?
I welcome you to learn ways that you can further develop your own skills.  What if the most convenient things are not always the best things for you; and it is always best to stick with what allows you to make your own choices, even if it is not always convenient?
Connecting To Our Soul Self
From September 1st through September 22nd, the codes show us that we will find peace and calm where we are willing to meet our responsibilities and obligations.  It is a time where we are able to be very productive and can get through things with greater ease.  Accomplishments and progression can be made, even with very challenging and overwhelming things.  During this time, we are called to focus on what will bring greater peace to ourselves and others.  It is about loving what we are doing, even if it challenges us and isn’t fully what we want to be doing.  As the work gets done, it is important to take some time to just be in calm, serene, and peaceful spaces.
Triggers that surface for us today are connected to experiences from our past.  There is something in them that is leading us to re-experience the injustices that happened earlier in our life.  We have the chance to correct previous choices through our present circumstances.  If we allowed others to victimize us and didn’t stand up for what was right in the past; then we are being called to stand up for what is right now.  We need only to do it from facts and in appropriate ways, without being in battle with others.  As we do this, we are actually clearing previous karma and setting ourselves on a more favorable path.
I welcome you to focus on what will bring greater peace to yourself and others.  What if this starts with learning to love what you are doing, even if it challenges you?
I welcome you to see how what is triggering you now, is connected to experiences from your past.  What if this is an opportunity to correct previous choices through present circumstances?
From September 23rd through the end of the month, stress and anxiety increase where we are feeling restrictions in our freedom.  This is a time where we may realize where we are putting our time and attention on things of value, and where we are not.  This is a time that calls us to realize where we are sacrificing too much and being placed in a victim mindset or position.  It is a time, that shows us that we will do better to simplify things and create more balance in life.  Living more extravagantly just is not worth the stress that it causes and it robs us of wonderful and valuable experiences.
We need to use caution where others are concerned.  They simply cannot be trusted.  There is a tendency for people to tell others whatever they think that they want to hear; instead of being honest with them.  While some don’t understand the damage and trouble this causes, others are just focused on getting what they want and don’t care.  We need to have the strength to walk away from situations where people cannot be honest and operate in integrity.  Even little “white lies” designed to “protect” people can be very dangerous.  Our responsibility is to stand in the truth; and it is not up to us to decide if others can or cannot handle it.  The betrayal of not being honest, is far worse for someone to deal with; than the temporary challenges of facing the truth.
I welcome you to consider how much time and energy you are putting into things of value and how much you are putting into things without true value.  What if we cannot remove ourselves from victim mindsets and patterns where we are sacrificing things of value for things of no real value?
I welcome you to have the strength to walk away from situations where people cannot be honest and don’t operate with integrity.  What if even little “white lies” can be quite dangerous?

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
December 9, 2024
Heather Cox Richardson
Dec 10, 2024
The sudden collapse of the Assad regime in Syria yesterday took oxygen away from the airing of President-elect Trump’s interview with Kristen Welker of NBC’S Meet the Press. The interview told us little that we didn’t already know, but it did reinforce what we can expect in the new administration.
As Tom Nichols pointed out after the interview, when Donald Trump ran for the presidency this year, he “wasn’t running to do anything. He was running to stay out of jail. The rest he doesn’t care about.”
Nichols was reacting to the exchange that began when Welker asked the president-elect: “Do you have an actual plan at this point for health care?” Trump answered: “Yes. We have concepts of a plan that would be better.” “Still just concepts? Do you have a fully developed plan?” Welker asked.
The answer, nine years after Trump first said he would repeal the Affordable Care Act and replace it with something cheaper and better, is still no. He went on to add, “I am the one that saved Obamacare,” although he spent his first term trying to weaken it.
Trump also reiterated his plans for revenge against those he perceives to be his enemies. He told Welker that when he is president, the Department of Justice should pursue and jail the members of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol, more commonly known as the January 6th Committee. He singled out committee leaders Representative Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and former representative Liz Cheney (R-WY).
But it was in his insistence on one specific lie that Trump was most revealing. He told Welker that there were “13,099 murderers released into our country over the last three years. They’re walking down the streets. They’re walking next to you and your family, and they’re very dangerous.”
This statement sets Trump up to be a strongman who will save America from great danger, but it is a lie that has been repeatedly debunked. It originated in a September 2024 letter from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX) listing 13,099 people convicted of homicide as being “non-detained.”
As Alex Nowrasteh of the libertarian Cato blog explains, “non-detained” does not mean free to roam the streets; it simply means that those in prison for homicide are not currently detained by ICE. Once they have served their sentences, they go back onto ICE’s docket to be deported unless their countries of origin don’t have repatriation agreements with the U.S., a condition that affects a very small number of people. Releases of criminal migrants into the U.S. dropped during the Biden administration from the numbers released during Trump’s term. In addition, as Nowrasteh points out, the 13,099 figure covers at least 40 years.
Welker tried to correct Trump: “The thirteen thousand figure I think goes back around 40 years,” she said. “No, it doesn’t,” Trump insisted. “It’s within the three-year period. It’s during the Biden term.”
Trump was intent on making Welker and the television audience accept an egregious lie, despite the fact it has been thoroughly debunked. His insistence echoed his determination in January 2017 to make the American people accept his lie that his inauguration crowd was bigger than that of his predecessor, Barack Obama, although we could see with our own eyes that he was lying. He was demanding we reject our own experience and instead let him define how we see the country.
Trump built on a history of narrative shaping that ran through the Republican Party. In 2004 a senior advisor to President George W. Bush famously told journalist Ron Suskind that people like Suskind lived in “the reality-based community,” believing that people could find solutions to problems based on their real-world observations. But such a worldview was obsolete, the aide said. “That’s not the way the world really works anymore.… We are an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality…. We’re history’s actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
America’s right wing has been able to shape reality in large part because of the 1996 advent of the Fox News Channel (FNC), the brainchild of Australian-born media mogul Rupert Murdoch. Shows on the FNC used clear, simple messaging with colorful graphics that told a story of an America overwhelmingly made up of white, rural folks who hated taxes and an intrusive government, and would do fine if they could just get the socialist Democrats to leave them alone. To spread the new channel, Murdoch initially offered ten dollars per subscriber to each cable company that carried it.
That right-wing echo chamber has expanded until it is now so strong that nearly 70% of Republicans falsely believe Trump was the rightful winner of the 2020 presidential election, despite the fact that the FNC had to pay more than $787 million to Dominion Voting Systems for defamation after it lied to viewers about that election.
Trump has built on that Republican narrative to create a fantasy world that is badly out of step with reality. It is not easy to see how he will reconcile his vision with real-world events.
He and his supporters might try simply to tell voters that they have done what they promised, and hope that story sells.
When Trump threatened to put a 25% tariff on goods from Mexico until Mexico stopped undocumented migrants from crossing the border, Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum told Trump that "encounters at the Mexico–United States border have decreased by 75 percent between December 2023 and November 2024.” Trump then simply told reporters that Sheinbaum had “agreed to stop Migration through Mexico, and into the United States, effectively closing our Southern Border,” and his supporters trumpeted on social media that Trump had closed the border with one phone call.
But convincing people of an alternative reality might be harder with issues closer to home.
Trump has vowed to place a tariff wall around the U.S., for example, at the same time he has promised to bring down the price of consumer goods. “Economists of all stripes say that ultimately, consumers pay the price of tariffs,” Welker told him on Sunday. “I don’t believe that,” Trump answered. He might not believe it, but producers do: car manufacturers as well as major shopping chains have warned that tariffs will force them to raise prices.
On other issues, Trump will have a vocal and established opposition. After his threat to go after the members of the January 6th committee, former representative Liz Cheney said in a statement: “There is no conceivably appropriate factual or constitutional basis for what Donald Trump is suggesting.“
“Here is the truth: Donald Trump attempted to overturn the 2020 presidential election and seize power. He mobilized an angry mob and sent them to the United States Capitol, where they attacked police officers, invaded the building, and halted the official counting of electoral votes. Trump watched on television as police officers were brutally beaten and the Capitol was assaulted, refusing for hours to tell the mob to leave. This was the worst breach of our Constitution by any president in our nation’s history.”
Cheney called for the release of the evidence and grand jury material special counsel Jack Smith assembled “so all Americans can see Donald Trump for who he genuinely is and fully understand his role in this terrible period in our nation’s history.”
Nobel laureates generally try to stay out of politics, but today more than 75 of them in medicine, chemistry, economics, and physics wrote a letter to senators urging them not to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s pick for secretary of Health and Human Services. They object to Kennedy’s stand against the scientists and agencies he would oversee. They noted that he has no credentials or relevant experience and that he has opposed life-saving vaccines, promoted conspiracy theories, and attacked the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Institutes of Health.
Putting him in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services, they write, “would put the public’s health in jeopardy and undermine America’s global leadership in the health sciences, in both the public and commercial sectors.”
There is also the chance that the Fox media empire will not effectively push a right-wing narrative much longer. The Murdoch family is in a struggle over control of that empire after the death of the 93-year-old Rupert. He and his eldest son, Lachlan, want to lock the company into its current political slant, but at least two of the three of Murdoch’s other children who are set to inherit the company do not share their father and brother’s politics.
Rupert has been trying to change the terms of the family trust to cement Lachlan’s control of the empire, but today a commissioner in Nevada ruled against him. Edward Helmore of The Guardian noted that the decision likely means that even if the children do not take the media empire in a different direction, divided leadership will weaken the right-wing message.
Almost 30 years after the Fox News Channel began to shape American politics with a fictional narrative, a different Fox media empire would almost certainly disrupt the right-wing bubble. A lawyer for Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch said they will appeal the decision.
Finally, Pennsylvania law enforcement officials today arrested a “strong person of interest” in the shooting of United Healthcare chief executive officer Brian Thompson. Tonight a court document shows 26-year-old Luigi Mangione has been charged with murder.

Edward G. Robinson and Joan Bennett in Scarlet Street (Fritz Lang, 1945)
Cast: Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett, Dan Duryea, Margaret Lindsay, Rosalind Ivan, Jess Barker, Charles Kemper, Anita Sharp Bolster, Samuel S. Hinds, Vladimir Sokoloff, Arthur Loft, Russell Hicks. Screenplay: Dudley Nichols, based on a novel by Georges de La Fouchardière and André Mouëzy-Éon. Cinematography: Milton R. Krasner. Art direction: Alexander Golitzen. Film editing: Arthur Hilton. Music: Hans J. Salter.
Fritz Lang's Scarlet Street was adapted by Dudley Nichols from the same novel  that Jean Renoir had adapted for his 1931 film that retained the novel's title, La Chienne. Both films came at oddly significant points in their directors' careers: Renoir's was only his second talkie, but one in which he demonstrated his mastery of the relatively new medium by a creative use of ambient sound. Lang's was made just as World War II was ending -- a moment when it became possible for him to return to Europe, which he had fled to avoid Nazi persecution. Lang chose, however, to stay on in Hollywood for 12 more years, though he grew increasingly annoyed at the creative restrictions imposed on him by the big studios and Production Code censorship. In this context, Scarlet Street stands out as edgy and somewhat defiant. The Code prescribed a kind of lex talionis: any criminal act demands a punishment equivalent in kind and degree. But in Scarlet Street, Christopher Cross (Edward G. Robinson) gets away with not only fraud and theft but also murder -- a double murder, if you consider that the man wrongly accused of the murder goes to the electric chair for it. Cross is punished by homelessness and by auditory delusions of the voices of those who drove him to crime, but that's much less severe than the Code usually prescribed. There were those, of course, including censors in New York State, Milwaukee, and Atlanta, who noticed the Code's laxness and proceeded to ban the film on their own. Today, Scarlet Street is regarded as a classic, one of the premier examples of film noir at its darkest. It doesn't quite measure up to Renoir's version, perhaps because Renoir was freer in expressing his vision of the material than Lang was. Renoir's film had touches of humor and a gentler, more ironic ending, but the ending of Scarlet Street is entirely in keeping with the tone of the rest of the film, with its traces of unfettered Lang: for example, the shocking viciousness of Johnny Prince (Dan Duryea), who if you know how to decode the Code is clearly the pimp to the prostitute Kitty March (Joan Bennett). And Cross's behavior at the end of the film, derelict and delusional, echoes some of the frantic paranoia of Peter Lorre's child murderer in Lang's M (1931).

Full Moon - September 18th, 2024
Tumblr media
September 18th Full Moon
Each Full Moon has a tendency to bring with it, disruption.  It is a time that is naturally turbulent and can trigger rebellious energy.  People are more prone to pick a fight or to get triggered into reactive and aggressive spaces.
This Full Moon is a time where it is easier to get support from others.  People are naturally more influenced at this time.  That being said, we must be careful of charming people and things that seem too good to be true; because chances are they are.  It is important that we don’t act in urgency with things; and we take some time to think them through beyond the moment.  However, if we are standing in integrity and not manipulating others into what we want them to do; then we are likely to find that people will naturally stand up to support us if we ask for something.  Remember, it is always better to have people give because they want to and through situations of integrity; than to coerce them into things that they don’t really want to do.
Leadership is important at this time; and it is important that we embrace being a positive leader in whatever way that we can.  This can be leading by example or setting a positive example for others.  It can be helping people to increase their freedom and self-sufficiency in the world.  It can be bringing people together and working as a team.  It can be working directly with others to show them how to do something and to create their own successes within doing other things.  There are many ways that we can embrace positive leadership energy; and we should take advantage of the opportunities that allow us to do this.
Stress and tension surface.  Others may create anxiety for us.  This is especially true if we are surrounded by people that cannot be trusted and who do not operate in integrity.  One way that we can ease stress and anxiety is to take a break from things that we are trying to force to happen.  We can do things to help those that struggle to help themselves; or we can stand up for those that are being taken advantage of by others.  As we do this, it will connect us with awakening greater integrity into our own life and help us to move forward.
This is a time where we are called to be in reflection and to really get honest with ourselves about where things may have gotten out of Divine Alignment.  It is a time for us to adjust what we are trying to do, so that it allows us to stand more in the Soul Self.  We are called to strengthen Spiritual Attributes during this time; for we will need to be stronger in them before we can unfold more successes in life.  This is about learning to operate in true Divine Service and working from our heart instead of just the mind.
At this time, we are able to strengthen our connection with those that we have a true partnership or relationship with.  It is a time where people are either supporting us or trying to compete with us.  Competition will not bring anything of value and only nourishes insecurities.  The more we acknowledge the skills and assets of others, while knowing our own worth and value; the more we can breakdown competition and create friendships.  There is nothing that needs to be proven.  We either do or don’t do.  We will always have room for improvement; but in the end, it is always about loving what we do.
This Full Moon is also a Super Moon or in Perigee.  So, it is closer than at other times and this allows it to seem quite big.  In the energy of the Super Moon, we find that friendships, relationships, and partnerships support us in standing in our abundance.  They are helping to add to our success and help us bring things through to completion.  Their love and support may also bring new opportunities our way that help us to be successful with our own ideas.
While we may appreciate others that are in our life, we may be in need of keeping things a bit more “low key”.  The Super Moon energy is likely to find people a bit more tired than normal.  We need to take time to support our health and to process the experiences that we are having in life.  Our choices are very important and can impact all of our existences.  Even if the mind is weary, we will know that the most favorable path will lead us to have greater freedom over our life and supports us in having quality experiences; such as spending time with those that we love and care about.
This is a time where we are learning and teaching others what is and is not acceptable for us.  It is certain that not everyone will be happy about this, especially if they are seeking to have power and control over our life.  We may see stronger attempts to victimize us by working in tyrannical ways that are rooted in causing us suffering.  This only validates that these are situations that we do not want to be a part of.  We must honor what is best for us, whether others like it or not.
It is very important to be practical and responsible at this time.  We need to take care of any responsibilities and obligations that we have, in safe and cautious ways.  It may feel challenging to get through things; but if we embrace what has to be done, it will likely be smoother than normal.  This is a time where we may see more death and accidents than would normally happen.  People are operating in careless ways to prove their superiority over others.  There are stronger attempts to break people down.  This all ends up leading to accidents.  We must have the strength to breakthrough and handle things; even if we are running a bit tired.
In the energy of Perigee, we find that where we meet our responsibilities and obligations with integrity; that we are also certain to see successes.  The key is that we focus on finishing things that we have already started.  We are favored for bringing things to completion.  This is a time for us to recognize the real abundance that we have and that we are not suffering just because we are not living the lifestyle of the rich and famous.  In some ways, it is easier to connect with our heart and to care about those that need true help and assistance.
Rebel energy arises where we feel like others are taking advantage of our kindness and generosity.  It is important that we learn discernment; so that we can see who is trying to take advantage of us and who is encouraging us to do things that are fun and enjoyable for us.  One of the ways that we know this is, that if others have to “sell” us into something they are probably not offering us anything of true value.  If they are inviting us to share in doing something, then it is likely that they are interested in learning more about us.  There is a very big difference between being pushed into something and being invited into something.
We benefit where we help others to harmonize and where we step into being a leader for others.  This is all about recognizing that everyone has skills that are valuable; and that there is no being better or worse than another.  We are called to know where to work with others and where to draw our own limits so that we are not overextending ourselves.  Our bodies are simply not as strong as normal and we need to respect any extra rest and nutrition that is needed at this time.  People naturally want to shift into a life where they have more opportunities to focus on things that are of true value and where they don’t have to work all of the time.
I welcome you to be careful of charming people and things that seem too good to be true.  What if you take time to think things through more, before moving forward with them?
I welcome you to embrace being a positive leader in any way that you can.  What if there are many ways that you can do this and bring positive experiences for others as well as yourself?
I welcome you to stop trying to force things to happen.  What if taking some time to help others, will also open things up for yourself?
I welcome you to make adjustments so that you can stand more in your Soul Self with what you are doing.  What if this is about strengthening your Spiritual Attributes?
I welcome you to know who is supporting you and who is competing with you.  What if the more you acknowledge the skills and assets of others, while knowing your own worth and value; the more you can breakdown competition and create friendships?
I welcome you to realize that the favorable path forward is the one that gives you greater freedom over your life.  What if this will support you in having quality experiences and spending time with those that you love and care about?
I welcome you to know what is and is not acceptable for you and stand strong in that.  What if those that cannot accept what you do and do not want, are seeking to have power and control over you and your life?
I welcome you to finish things that you have already started.  What if meeting your responsibilities and obligations unfolds successes for you?
I welcome you to see the connection between rebel energy and where you are feeling taken advantage of.  What if this is part of learning discernment about who is supporting you and who is taking advantage of you?
In The Northern Hemisphere, we have the Fruit Moon and the Corn Moon.  In the energy of the Fruit Moon, we are being warned to not take any chances and to not take anything for granted.  Death and accident energy are showing up strongly.  This means that we need to use extra caution with everything that we are doing and everything that is happening around us.  This is not a good time for traveling.  It is worth taking extra time at stop lights and staying away from places where there is construction, power tools, and heavy equipment.  It is a wonderful time for focusing on learning things.  We especially are being given opportunities to learn how powerful our Spirit is and to transform things and make breakthroughs.  The biggest key is, that we don’t give up and that we see things through to completion.
In the energy of the Corn Moon, we may feel a bit more stress and anxiety.  This may come the strongest where we are spending time around those that we cannot trust and who do not work in integrity.  There is a sense of having to constantly look over our shoulder and protect ourselves from those that are trying to sabotage us.  We may want to find ways to help others that are being taken advantage of and that could really use some help with things.  Sometimes, as we act in kindness for others, we are able to unfold a greater understanding of our own challenges and to identify what is and is not a real challenge.
I welcome you to use extra caution with everything that you are doing.  What if all negative energy can be transformed by embracing the power of Spirit?
I welcome you to consider how stress and anxiety may be showing you where people are not trustworthy and are working without integrity.  What if you can deflect the challenges others put on you, by helping others with things that challenge them?
In the Southern Hemisphere, we have the Sap Moon.  With this influence, we see that caution and precautions need to be used.  Death and accident energy are present; and it is important that we learn not to push things or take them for granted.  It is important to take the time to make every interaction as complete as possible and to bring love and appreciation into every situation.  This helps us to transform anything that is trying to hold us back and break us down.  It is a time of learning that we have the power to breakthrough anything and should not stop until we get that breakthrough.  If we give up, we will only have to do things under harder circumstances.
I welcome you to make every interaction complete and invite in love and appreciation to every situation.  What if this allows you to transform anything that is trying to break you down?
