I will be honest, Aizawa would be terrified

The world's a scary, unstable place with so many villains running rampant, and alongside that he would barely have enough time for a partner just because of how much he works (He's a teacher all day and can apparently be contacted at any time, and he has to do his hero duties at night - so not a lot of time!)

Add in his fatigue, possible PTSD (hero work is not for the faint of heart), his tendencies to push away or just avoid mentioning things that have had lasting impacts on him (looking at Shirakumo especially)... It opens up a can of worms basically (；´∀｀)

He just... Has no time for anything at all ┐( ^_^;)┌

But!

If he really loves this person? He's naturally going to do his best to make things work. Have you ever seen that "Do it even if you have to do it scared" post? That's what he would be like essentially

Spend less time on patrol, keep spouse's (and soon enough, baby's) name under wraps, explain all this to the school so he doesn't have to be called for things in the middle of the night...

Expect him to be very realistic, even horribly blunt when it comes to communication. He's a man of logic and rationality, he will discuss things and options even if it hurts (⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠;⁠) (I know this clashes with what I said in the beginning, but I feel once he got over the initial shock and starts working on himself then he'll eventually get to this point)

One of my fave Skk headcanon is that teen!Dazai would occasionally have dissociative episodes, sometimes in inconvenient places like a PM meeting or a mission, and when Chuuya's there to see it happen and recognize the signs he always springs up to help, no matter who is there to witness the care he'd uncharacteristically portray.

If it's in a meeting he'd hold Dazai's hand, and answer any question directed at Dazai himself. If he isn't near enough he'd make himself near, regardless of who is sitting beside him. He'd excuse both of them to Mori when he feels the meeting doesn't necessarily need them there, and if Mori doesn't agree he'd pester the man in subtle ways until he eventually resigns.

In missions, Dazai would mostly get injured for being out of control in his own body amidst battle, and Chuuya always retreats whenever that happens. He handles Mori's chastisements, all the consequences, because he's the one who decided to withhold the completion of the mission, but he never regrets doing so.

His focus is always dead-set on Dazai until he's back to being the annoying piece of shit he is, no matter the time, no matter the place.

Dazai thanks him by handling Chuuya's infrequent brothers regarding Arahabaki in the same way. Whenever Chuuya appears distressed at how Arahabaki's voice is suddenly too loud within him, when the ache of corruption is just too much, he'd wordlessly maintain skin-to-skin contact until the other is better and back on his feet.

A little lore dump about her/their relationship is below the cut, I’m working out the kinks, but this is a broad overview, and it’s subject to change. TWs for mentions of drugging and unplanned pregnancy/pregnancy in general.

She is legally married to Oswald and is more romantically involved with him. They have a deep soulmate bond and are incredibly close and protective of one another. Their marriage came about as sort of an arranged marriage. She was a singer for Fish and is 10 years younger than him. Their relationship was initially a strong friendship that became something more.

They ended up becoming romantically involved and marrying rather quickly at his mother Gertrud’s request after an unexpected pregnancy; she deeply cared for Elizabeth and wanted Oswald to take care of her and the baby. No one knew the paternity of the child until after the birth, but Oswald was in fact the father.

Oswald and Elizabeth had been drugged at the club one night, and they ended up pregnant, an event neither could remember at the time, but that was recorded and they found out about later. Together they have a few children (over the years) which are kept out of the public eye due to his status in Gotham and his overprotective nature; no one will harm a hair on any of the children’s heads.

Oswald was not the type of man to cheat on Elizabeth, but he cannot deny the feelings he develops for Ed, he reveals this to Elizabeth and she is understanding of it. After meeting Ed (she isn’t revealed to be Oswald’s wife), she can understand her husband’s attraction to him, and she develops a something of a crush on him herself. Not that she dares breathe word of it to anyone except Oswald, and he isn’t exactly happy about it (being the jealous guy he is), she’s his, and he wants Ed for himself.

But Ed soon became infatuated with her too, she was so innocent acting and sweet, and he wanted her for himself. When he tries to hit on her, she breaks down and reveals the truth, of her marriage to Oswald, her feelings for him, and Oswald’s feelings for him. This paves the way for their poly relationship to begin.

Again this is a very broad overview, but this gives you an idea about their relationship. Feel free to ask any questions about them! Either guy, Elizabeth, and their relationship(s), all are up for discussion.
