Bad End: The Fall

Summary: It's my Hound!MC Alon's birthday, so I made some sketches of them and Mhin based on the scene from Transformers One! For context, the idea is that Vere has gotten himself free and went on a rampage in the Senobium, slaughtering students and clerics alike, and destroying the labs and archives, along with all hope of finding cures for Mhin and Alon's respective curses. In the midst of the massacre, Vere finally made Mhin lose control of the monster within them and they have transformed into a crow monster hybrid. There is a brutal and bloody fight between them but Mhin has finally defeated Vere and is about to kill him, when Alon, their partner, stops them.

“What are you doing?”

“It’s over. He lost.”

“So did we! We lost everything because of him — I have to do this!”

“No, you don’t. Look at him, he's down. He's no longer a threat.”

“He needs to die! Can’t you see that?”

“This won’t cure either of us! Don't do this, Mhin. Don’t be the monster he says you are.”

“…You need to move out of my way. Before I move you myself.”

“Mhin—”

“MOVE!”

“Stop—!”

I just felt like it would be in character for them to stop mhin from killing vere #alon would not hate vere. not even on mhin's route. they would see him as a victim of the senobium.#by now the two outsiders have learned the truth about the senobium's cruelty. so mhin knows. even if they haven't accepted it.#and alon wouldn't think killing vere would help mhin especially not in the long run.#they see mhin as a person who ultimately wants to do good. every death weighs on them.#and the monster comment was definitely not the right thing to say to mhin in that moment. she was just really trying to get through to them #of course mhin would view the act of defending vere to be a betrayal. in their eyes vere is beyond redemption. and yet...#alon would stand in the path of their blade. she would force her blood to stain their hands to save him.#their so-called “partner” would turn them into a monster — the one thing they are most terrified of becoming...#to save the one that destroyed their hopes of ever becoming anything else...they can't forgive them for that.

(maybe originally in the concept art, but in canon it seems they aren't anymore? dion has been stated to be the oldest, but my thoughts are maybe like he's the older twin lmao. i will probably be 100% wrong if there is ever a future installment in this series.)

Funny story, I originally wanted to color these sketches, but I found that most of my traditional art supplies are unusable (the pencil colors has a very faded color, and most of my markers have a diluted yellow coloring lmaoooo ToT). I haven't been using them from 2019 and it really shows.

some of you who have unfortunately seen my earliest posts here probably recognize this, i'm reposting it since... well i totally redrew buzz! it's been a while and i just couldn't stand the original, so i went back to fix it. or. tried to. idk the end result is kinda meh

i still want it to be like a combo between the ts/ly/blosc versions but at the time i didn't know what to keep and what to remove. that, combined with the fact my proportions suuuucked totally erased the silhouette and the slick y2k vibe of the blosc suit, which is honestly perfect and should've guided me from the start

the idea that the suit can glow is cool so i still headcanon that that's what the yellow button is for (that's actually half canon since it is in the game, just not the show lol)

i'll be completely honest i'm not proud of this at all lol, idk why i just can't draw buzz lately and it's driving me nuts, so much so that i was debating even posting this, but i've spent so long on it that now it will feel like a waste of time if i didn't. overall I'm making this post just for me, as a marker for how much i've improved, etc., because it definitely isn't as bad as the old one (please don't go looking for it). i was thinking about doing it with older posts too because i swear even glancing at them physically hurts me lol, but this debacle kinda encouraged me to stop looking back and just focus on drawing new stuff that i'm actually proud of. which is positive too i guess!
