Y'know, after feeling low and overwhelmed for so long, I'm in a pretty good mood right now, and I figured I'd spread some of that positivity, just in case you've been feeling crappy too.

Let's start off with the day I met you.

It was Christmas break 2018. I hadn't got my blog just yet (that was Feb. 2019), so I was just a little helpless anonymous exploring the Eric Cartman tag on tumblr.

Then, I stumbled across your blog.

It literally changed my life.

I always thought I was weird for liking Cartman the way I did, overthinking every characteristic about him, and just in general fanboying (not in that way ofc, A:not gay, B:hes 10 lmfao) over someone who I originally when I started watching had a hatred for.

But you helped me realize that it's not so weird.

I had the courage to send my first anonymous ask.

The ask that started it all.

It's crazy to think had I not sent that, we wouldn't have started this friendship, and maybe I wouldn't be here on this site to this very day.

This friendship was the best Christmas gift I could've ever asked for.

We would communicate through anonymous asks, and lots of other things.

Then the day came in 2019 that I finally got my blog.

I quickly rushed to your blog, and sent my first message, and followed you instantly.

I followed a few other Cartman/SP blogs I came across too.

These past three years of our friendship have been so amazing.

Always getting off a boring and long day at school, but opening up my phone, and almost always seeing

When the Capital Hill riots happened in January, while watching the news, I instantly messaged you, and I live chatted everything I saw, and that was huge.

When I first got into Modern Family, talking about that was memorable, even if you hadn't really seen much of it at all.

Talking about our lives, and the stresses of it.

I always loved hearing about your job, and talking about school.

Everything about this friendship has been nothing short of amazing.

You were the first online friend I ever met here on this hellsite, and it doesn't matter if we've never met in person, you've always been a real friend to me.

who is your favourite character in 2?

lmaooo...nathan for you is a dumbass show about a guy who graduated from business school with decent grades and develops shitty, but hilarious, business plans. it's not really a show with characters since he goes to real businesses but nathan is the only main character i suppose so yes, him. but there's this reoccurring dude who works as this private investigator (who thinks he is the shit) and watching him interact with nathan is so damn funny so there's that.

who is your least favourite character in 1?

it used to be jackie...even though mila kunis is great...jackie was just so annoying, man. but it could very well have been hyde. he was so irrelevant at the beginning and i was kind of like who is this guy?? but then he grew on me and now i think he is one of the best. as of right now..maybe laurie is the worst one for me.

what is your favourite episode of 4?

man, that's too hard to answer. i love so many. i don't want to start talking about other eps i like because there are so many iconic moments in that show and i would really just go on for too long. i would have to say 'beach house' because it was honestly just hilarious...all of them trying to be on their best behaviour for captain holt..the hot tub scene...how they had to make sure some of them were upstairs with holt while they partied downstairs sksksk. those cuts of the conversation with him kill me. a personal fave quote is: 'now, the recorder is generally thought of as a training instrument for children but listen to it...in the hands of an expert like joram leifgrum..the passion is...breathtaking'

confession time,, i haven't watched one or two. well, a few eps. my siblings were really obsessed so they basically told me everything that happened anyway. i just watched season 3 with them and i really enjoyed myself, even with how intense it all got. all i can say is...alexei is a precious god given gift. and man, i love the whole scoops lads plus two epic kiddos gang. and billy looked real good. real good.

honestly, i didn't think i would like it?? i saw memes every now and then but i didn't really care for it. one day last year my younger sister put on an ep of season four and we just started watching it. and now we have watched every season up to 11 and most of the all stars. best decision of our lives. rupaul's drag race is iconic..all stars is iconic...it's just great tv.

andre braughner even though i haven't watched him in anything else. captain holt is just gold. but all those actors are seriously amazing at what they do. amazing cast.

stranger things just because drag race has no real story line.... but the story line in stranger things is really unique and gripping. very nice stuff.

i loved it!!!!! (slight spoilers ahead.) parts of it felt a bit americanised (to appeal to a wider audience, maybe?), but, like, without the worst things that usually come with that, if that makes sense? (if you’re from Outside of north america, you’ll defintitely Know what i mean, akjhfksa.) i liked that the plastics/meanies of this school were essentially characters that could’ve been taken straight outta some american teen show, akjfs, with their hair always done up and those elaborate outfits. (their performative #wokeness was such a nice touch, too, lmaooo.) i LOVED the locations, because when you think “a british show” you usually think THE NORTH, whether it’s a northern city, or a countryside that comes with a specific cold colour palette + flora, and this place had /almost/ like… a mediterranean feel to it. i’d assumed it’s the south, but then discovered they mostly filmed in wales, which, HOW COOL!!!!! a part of the uk you don’t typically see, like i said. loved the premise, loved its execution, and the whole show in general was just that perfect balance of humour+serious that brits just excel at, tbh. i loved the plot twists regarding the characters/their families, and that the creators avoided making it all black and white (like IT HAPPENS IN LIFE, gasp). how jackson’s parents maybe weren’t what you’d excpected, and that he ended up genuinely liking some of the stuff he was getting involved with just to win over maeve’s heart, that meave’s brother wasn’t just an asshole, and they had a genuine connection, that if whatever happens between maeve and otis in the future, it’ll feel EARNED, and we weren’t just sold this unrealistic romance from the start. what else… the performances were honestly all great, i loved pretty much all of main and secondary characters, i don’t think i even have a fave, i was just genuinely loving all of those kids. gillian is sooo great in her role, too, desperately trying to navigate that line between a therapist and a mother and just constantly crossing those boundaries she shouldn’t be crossing, but you Get why it’s do difficult for her. loved her relationship with otis. loved so many scenes!!! for example… like, the abortion episode was great, and the bitch was crying during the school dance and the origin of love and /everything/ that happened later in that episode. AND “IT’S MY VAGINA” MADE ME EMO, TOO (and this entire ep/storyline/maeve’s Reasons for getting involved), OF COURSE. QUIETLY POWERFUL. A BITCH TEARED UP.

honestly i think i was initially the most wary of… eric? because creating a secondary-ish black character that’s mostly a comic relief in this day and age didn’t feel that Great at the beginning (even if he’s gay in this story), but they later fleshed out the character in a way that made my reservations go away pretty much completely. it’ll be so interesting to see how they handle him+adam, because relationships that start with bullying are suuuuch a difficult topic to navigate/execute, but i think i Trust them to get it right???

idk i just really enjoyed it all!!!!! it had a HEART, however lame it may sound. can’t wait for more.
