Age regression is the action of regressing into a younger state of mind other than your bodily age! The reason for this is normally to cope with some sort of stress, a trigger, or a trauma that has occurred [many also say its a way to relieve your childhood if you had a negative one]. When you regress, you usually have a change in mannerisms that can vary by regressed age! [like using a paci, dips, bottles, not being able to write well etc] However, not everyone has a specific "age set" that they regress to, and not everyone's regression is the same! Regression is normally voluntary to self sooth, however it can be involuntary if things become too much for the person regressing

Marven wanted to be a lot of things. An astronaut, a scientist, a doctor, a stuntman— literally everything 😭 He was in so many extracurricular activities too, the kid CANNOT stay still… But, currently hes considering following in his Mama’s footsteps and getting into the fashion industry! I mean, hes already a model with Evelio, so why not?

Evelio on the other hand… Is unsure. As a child he wanted to be a writer, but currently hes not really sure what to be. He has a lot of different options, but he just doesn’t want to take up a career that bores him. He hasnt found anything he particularly loves just yet. Huh, maybe he’d make a good detective!

Alora stayed the same. She wants a job that lets her get close to magical creatures and beasts! Maybe a caretaker or reasearcher of the weird and mystical creatures and items that most are too afraid to try and get up and close themselves. So, she wants to be a researcher who discovers new magic and creatures, as well as studies old archeaological sites!

Marven had a few plushies as a kid— but they always ended up tearing 😭 He still has this one red panda plush he’s had since he was a baby. Its super old, and unrecognizable. Rips and tears everywhere, and its a little dirty too but if he washed it that old thing would definetly fall apart. 😭 he REFUSES to get rid of it, though. So theres just this nervouse system of a teddy bear sitting in his room, on his bed.

Evelio had a lot of plushies. But his favorite one was this doe plush. It was a nice brown and white with big beady eyes and a ribbon tied around it’s neck. He used to carry it EVERYWHEREE with him, and read it bedtime stories. He says that hes gotten over that phase and hes “not a child anymore”. But he definetly still has it. He brought it with him to NRC and loves it with all his heart. He still hugs it to sleep. But he refuses to admit it. (Will say that maybe it just “fell into” his stuff while he was packing if anyone finds it😭)

Alora still has her favorite plushie, and she brought it with her to NRC! Its a black and pink bunny, and she lets her ghostie friend posess it while shes at school :3

The only thing that I feel works for me is consuming a lot of good content. Whether it's reading fiction / non-fiction (non-fiction can be brilliant for new & different ideas), listening to an audiodrama that's well-written, watching a film or television series. . . anything that gets me excited about creating tends to bring me closer to wanting to write. I think the point is to keep your brain moving. Most people don't create ideas in a vacuum--we feed off of our surroundings, the things we consume, the brainworms that wriggle around in our heads. So: being more open to receiving and letting what inspires take root in you is crucial. And as for actually writing, I tend to write with shows or films in the background because the narrative progressing feeds into me being able to move with it. I don't know if that would work for you, but that's the only quick fix I've found for writer's block.

I don't know that I have favourites. I've written a few of those at this point. I mostly like writing them as competent people, and it's something I definitely enjoy reading too. So. Competence. . .? Plus I've recently fallen into an Alpha!Steve/Omega!Tony rabbit hole so I've got a hankering to revisit that. Uhhh. Alright.

It’s a mix? I start out with maybe a starting line or two that sparks the whole thing and usually some notes at the top. Usually there will end up being scraps of dialogue I want to include later and other references, and then I’ll write notes to myself as an outline but as I go? The truth is that my adhd brain hates thinking about certain things for too long unless I’m hyper focused (which happens too), so sometimes I’ll write half a scene, jump forwards or back, and then just fill it all in like that by which bits I’m able to think about the most in the moment.

💕 What is your favorite fic that you’ve written?

See, the answer is probably the 40k+ reveal wip sitting in my docs rn, because I’ve been working on it since April and so it’s my baby… but as for posted fics, it’s a cross between I Need to Leave (Please Stay) and When I Try to Find My Way.

🦋 Which character is your favorite to write?

Wylan, for sure, because in terms of sab/soc characters he is MY BOY and I feel like I get him, or at least I relate to him very hard, so I end up pulling things from myself a lot more than I do writing other characters.

One random fact about me is that I own a pair of rhinestone high top sneakers. ✨ They're blindingly sparkly, so I only wear them on special occasions. Far superior to high heels, and they make me laugh.

Another random fact is that I love embroidery, and I've recently started making stuffed toys and things. I'm currently working on a piece for a display at my local library. It's a magical tree FROM SPACE. 🚀🛸
