book 7 part 8 thoughts!!

***THIS POST CONTAINS MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR BOOK 7 PART 8 OF THE MAIN STORY!!*** Please note: this is NOT meant to be a summary or a translation; these are only my initial thoughts on the events that roughly unfold. There may be details overlooked or misunderstood in this post, so PLEASE do not use this as a translation.

Right off the bat, we're starting off strong with a video presentation from Idia!! He uses many MMORPG terms and analogies to better explain his concepts, even referring to allies as "party members".

The video is ~3 minutes long and the artwork used are Takashi Mifune-sensei’s LINE stickers. Yana says she is particular about functionality like Idia is, so she is pleased that they were able to implement this video. “Please watch Idia’s debut as. YouTuber!”

He basically explains his plan to defeat Malleus. Idia's going to fuck around with stuff in his own dream to make cheat codes to debuff Malleus (ie remove his invincibility). The others shall distract Malleus so he doesn’t catch onto what Idia is up to. Yuu, Grim, Sebek, Silver, and Ortho will infiltrate the dream worlds of classmates, "wake" them, and then recruit them to their cause. They will then lure Malleus into Idia's dream, at which point all the recruited students will JUMP HIM 🤡 Truly, the power of friendship but the NRC way…

Idia grants everyone the ability to DREAM FORM CHANGE!! By saying that phrase, it opens up a menu where you can magically change your outfit in an instant. The NRC boys are becoming magical girls… ✨

Everyone at NRC seems to speak in the same Harveston dialect as Epel. And, well... here's apple boy...

Anyway, the group just casually walks up to Epel and tells him everything is a lie??? And when Epel's world starts to go all wibbly wobbly, a dream!Rook and dream!Vil show up to praise him. Rook says he has heard rumors that Savanaclaw wants to recruit Epel for their own dorm, while Vil praises Epel as being both strong and beautiful, a perfect fit for Pomefiore.

I like that the implication is that while Epel still has a desire to be in a "tough" dorm like Savanaclaw, this dialogue seems to also say that he now also finds value in Pomefiore. This is why dream!Rook and Vil are tugging Epel in opposite directions; his soul must like BOTH options. Further proof is that Epel is still a Pomefiore student in his dream, he is not in Savanaclaw. To keep him under the sleep, the dream is trying hard to appeal to both sides of Epel's wishes.

So we battle the fake Rook and Vil!! Then Epel's memories come flooding back to him; the cracking glass effect is so pretty and calls into mind a mirror shattering as Epel gains his lucidity.

(Rook and Vil get similar "glass breaking" scenes upon waking, so I'm only going to comment on Epel's here and leave it at that!)

Cut to black to explain the situation to Epel!

Ortho invites Epel to join their "party" in Idia's dream! Then I believe he uses Epel's dream data to project a hologram of buff!Epel to remain in the dream while Epel joins the gang to hop into the next dream.

Next up is Rook's dream, and--

Rook starts to chuckle menacingly and pops off about his hyperfixations to us???? Then he wrangles us all to sit down and watch DVDs with him for the next *checks notes* 5 HOURS?????? AM I READING THIS CORRECTLY????? Rook... HONEY... THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO END, WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO THIS...

We keep trying to talk to Rook, but he isn't quite waking up yet. So we have an aside with the gang and Epel suggests... RECREATING OUR VDC PERFORMANCE??????? ? ?? ????? He shows Silver, Sebek, Grim, and Ortho the dance moves and the show goes on!

Rook is lured to the VDC stage and we get a new Absolutely Beautiful rhythmic with our current squad! Unfortunately, the vocals are the same as book 5, so we do not get a new variation with Epel, Sebek, Silver, Ortho, and Grim singing.

I love Love LOOOOVE that Epel is the center here!! He took the initiative to suggest the idea as well as teach everyone, and now he's REALLY walking the talk by serving as the "leader" of the group.

Watching the NRC Tribe makes Rook's head hurt and he starts to remember...!!

Well, wouldja look at that... Here comes dream!Neige and RSA!Vil to distract Rook. They say they are inspired by the NRC performance and start to perform Everyone Yahoo! This entrances Rook, making our task of "waking" him all the more difficult.

aihfboyfpie LMAO THEY'RE SO DRAMATIC?????? Vil steps up to defend Neige, and Neige is all like, "Nooo, Vii-kun! If anything were to happen to you, I'd be crushed by sadness :((" ROOK... IS THIS WHAT YOUR MIND COMES UP WITH...

Rook points an arrow at them and cries about how he betrayed Epel... (AYO LIKE THE HUNTSMAN????) and now he has to destroy Vil and Neige, who are "proof" of his betrayal. It makes him cry even more because he can't think of harming them, even if it's just a dream...

Anyway, time to pummel the sparkly duo! You can see from the battle sprites that RSA students seem to use REAL ASS SWORDS to channel their magic instead of magical pens. Man... Imagine being handed a writing utensil and then glancing over at the next guy and seeing them holding an ACTUAL WEAPON.

If you look closely, you can tell that Neige and Vil's pommels, grips, and rain guards are slightly different. Apparently, every RSA student has a unique one? WOW, I feel like NRC got ripped off then??? Cuz only the dorm leaders get unique items or staves to channel their magic and everyone else has the same standard issue magical pen but with a different magestone color. The only exception to this for the average student seem to be Diasomnia kids, who have baton style magical pens in their dorm uniforms.

Rook fully awakens and we rinse and repeat what we did with Epel (cut to black to explain things to him, make a hologram Rook to leave behind, and invite him to join us).

The last part of the update has us venturing into Vil's dream.

OMG, WE'RE IN FAIREST CITY??? AT QUEEN'S FILM STUDIO???? We just visited this place in a recent event! What perfect timing... I see you, clever TWST devs!

I swear that Vil's outfits are getting worse with each new one I see him in, but that's probably just my fashion sensibilities clashing with his 💦 I thought from the initial silhouette that we would be getting a slightly older Vil to show us how his values have changed since book 6, in which Vil declares he is always beautiful no matter what. Him being older would truly drive that point home; I feel this was a missed opportunity but maybe it wasn’t possible because these dreams don’t seem to be taking place in the “future” but mostly center on the present or past? Something, something, magic limited to what can be imagined and maybe the magic can’t reach that far “ahead”?

Here, Vil seems to be highly popular + considered fairest of them all. Additionally, a certain SOMEONE has been relegated to being his mere assistant (and uh, Vil is somewhat demanding of them):

On a more serious note, I think this raises an interesting point about Vil’s character. Try as he might to get over his envy of Neige, it’s clearly still something so deep-rooted in Vil, right up to the end of booo 5. Now this element also permeates in his dream world. Neige “has” to be demoted in so Vil can stand on top—but is that really “fair” to Neige?? Is it truly Vil’s jealousy that informs the dream of this, and thus the dream is spinning this shallow, easy victory for Vil’s satisfaction??? Because the noble Vil I know of in book 5 wouldn’t consider this a real “win”. Very fascinating topic to ponder!

Vil has Neige toss us out, which Neige does. The dream is preemptively acting this time, with dream!Neige coming at us. We make a getaway and somehow whack the head of the announcer + have Rook usurp his role.

As Vil is walking down the red carpet, Rook announces the various sins that Vil has committed. Vil panics and demands that someone shut Rook up, but then he starts to realize things aren't quite right.

We try to intervene, but Neige gets in the way and ultimately Vil is pulled deeper into his own darkness. Everyone else plunges into the dark with Vil?? I was worried that we'd have another battle map segment but thankfully there was none!!

We're back in the VDC backstage hallway area and stumble across a horrifying sight. Neige is on the ground (next to an empty bottle of apple juice) and all Seven Dwarves are surrounding him and sobbing. Ortho runs a scan on his vitals and Neige... FLATLINES...

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?????? THAT VIL ACTUALLY INTENDED TO KILL NEIGE IN BOOK 5????? 💀 Dude... No wonder why Vil was feeling so guilty and screaming that his actions were so "ugly"...

Epel uses his UM to encase Neige in a magical glass coffin to keep him safe. Then they run out onto the VDC stage and hear the announcer declaring that NRC has won. Vil is there soaking up all the attention and praise until we confront him.

Just as he is starting to "awaken", the darkness comes back and Vil alone is taken.

What I find really adorable here is that both Epel and Rook rush to his side and try to pull Vil out of the darkness. They're... OFFERING THEIR HANDS... TO HELP HIM OUT OF THE MIRE... OFFERED HANDS... A MOTIF THAT HAS BEEN IN TWST SINCE THE PROLOGUE... 👁️

Vil finally faces off against his Phantom. Like Idia in the last update, Vil willingly assumes his OB form to do battle. These fights seem very symbolic in the grand scheme of things. Idia and now Vil, confronting the worst, most unsavory parts of themselves, their inner demons, and rising victorious, proving that they have become better people… It continues the little bits of character growth that we’ve been seeing in each of the past books!!

He rises from the darkness and joins up with everyone else after conquering the fight!! The update ends here.

Okay, there's a LOT to talk about????????

The highlight for me was definitely Idia's presentation. It was very fun to watch because of the slick editing and it was a silly way to lay out the plans. I appreciate that we get to see Idia's strengths on display here; he can get long-winded and throw in lots of eccentric gamer slang, but you can also see how quickly he's able to tailor a complex plan together while accounting for many variables. adfhlboafoiyebif I UNDERSTAND THE IDIA HYPE NOW, I UNDERSTAND IT ALL...

(Side note: I did not know where to insert this, so I'll do it at the end! BONUS POINTS TO IDIA FOR RIGHTFULLY CALLING MALLEUS SHALLOW 💀 because his understanding of constitutes as happiness truly IS shallow. Once again, Idia slays with his brutally real words...)

I already said my parts about Epel and Rook's dreams when they happened. It was great seeing how their characters have developed, especially Epel! I never much cared for him, but I really appreciate all that he has done this update.

This pretty much confirms that future updates will have us visiting every remaining classmate's dreams and "waking" them. Admittedly, I'm both excited and worried??? Because that's a TON to cram in, and I worry that not everyone will get proper screentime or development. On the other hand, I'm hype to see what their dreams are like and what other limited SSRs the game might throw at us.

I feel like with the reveal of Vil OBing to fight his Phantom/"inner demons", we'll get similar scenes with the other OB boys coming to terms with what they've done and where they can go from here. This... might lead into the highly desired and speculated about Overblot series of SSRs, which I theorize will be the limited SSRs for each of the OB boys. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for those, TWST... I wonder if we'll get a Neige card eventually too??? Since we did see his battle assets exist this time. Will Chenya get one too, assuming he comes in a futureHeartslabyul update??

Aaaaaah, next time... Scarabia... 🤡 I'm so hype for that, Scarabia is like my second favorite dorm next to Octavinelle!! (SPEAKING OF, WILL WE FINALLY GET EEL FORM CARDS FOR THE TWINS...)

I’m sliiiightly concerned for Silver because bro used his UM no less than, what? 4 or 5 times this update alone??? He used his UM to enter Yuu’s dream and then Sebek, Lilia, AND Idia’s. Presumably, he also has to use his UM no less than 13 more times (12 more for the remaining boys + 1 more time to return them all to Idia’s to ambush Malleus). And even worse, he has to transport an increasing number of people each time. HOW TF IS SILVER NOT OVERBLOTTING????! 😭

It’s been really rewarding to follow along and see how the Pomefiore boys have changed since we first met them all the way back in late book 4, early book 5. I don't have anything beyond Steph's lyrics written down, unfortunately - HOWEVER, I could absolutely scribble some down for whatever parts you're curious about, if you like!

If we're only talking guitar chords, it's a really nice and simple (comfy!) progression: alternating G and Cadd9 for most of the verses, one loop of G - Am - C - D in the lead-up to the chorus, and the chorus is C - G - Dsus - D. (The very final chord is a Dsus because ✨ambience✨ and open-endedness vibes and... ok that's not what I was supposed to be talking about here oops)

Caveat to the above: wherever there's a D chord, I alternate randomly between plain D and Dsus with no particular pattern, and I may have replaced some Cs with Cadd9 or vice versa here and there. Either of the two works; it's just easier to play Cadd9 between two Gs. 🙂

Technically I played the same-ish chords in the transposed a capella version, too, but simpler and on my mini guitar/guitarlele which is tuned differently so the result is a slightly off-key D - Gadd9 (verse) and G - D - A (chorus).

Before I go off waffling delightedly for WAY too long (omg someone asked me about an Art I've made I can talk for HOURS hello you're my new best friend)... Is there any part/voice/instrument in particular that you're curious about? Because, again, I could absolutely scribble down some sheet music for this (or maybe even wrangle GarageBand to output some for me; I think that's a feature it has??). I don't normally write stuff down much when I play because I find it easier to just noodle around and memorise and I don't tend to get too complex with arrangements, but I do read musical notation and guitar tabulature and I would be a completely normal amount of very excited to talk and write more about this as you can see SO. Yeah. Just hmu if you want more detail about guitar chords or notes or some other stuff; I'd be BEYOND thrilled to share.

I need to point out that I'm only responsible for the particulars of the arrangement, the physical singing/playing, and the time signature - Steph based her song upon another one, a recording of which she kindly sent me; it's got slightly different lyrics and a somewhat simpler chord progression, is in 4/4 time and gives sort of... cute country ballad vibes? I riffed off of the melody a bit and the rest... really, the arrangement did what the characters in my stories tend to do, and kind of just wrote itself.

Either way, I don't want anyone to imagine I came up with the melody or the overall shape of this song myself! I just kneaded it a bit and fought GarageBand to record it. 💜)

There may be a bit of water in the start, forgive me for that.

I think, that the take where Tony dies from Glamrock Freddy has the most evidence. In the patient 46 disks we learn that GGY most likely used animatronics to get rid of therapists. Meaning he was luring therapists to the pizzaplex, and then got rid of them with the help of animatronics.

What Gregory does in the end of GGY? He invites Tony to the pizzaplex.

GGY was also using Glamrock Freddy to stalk Tony throughout the book. It's a pretty obvious hint, that Glamrock Freddy was probably supposed to kill Tony, since GGY used animatronics to kill therapists too. I don't see anything that could tell us otherwise.

Tony was a kid, who was always desiring to solve mysteries, because of what happened to his father in the past. In the end of GGY book everything went down to him, when Gregory and Ellis "ruined" his story he spent so much time and energy on, and then got sent to detention, because he was caught on camera at night. So much happened to him, there's so much to himself too, I don't think he would rest as a soul after death. That's how he could've possess Glamrock Freddy.

I hope i don't have to explain how much hints to Glamrock Freddy being possessed are there.

Also, In my opinion, this theory is mostly carried by how Glamrock Freddy in SB and Tony in GGY act similar to each other.

Small character analysis here. Both can overthink and do (Gregory, in answer, was always shutting them up btw). Both are pretty kind and friendly. Both are quite intelligent and shrewd. Both desire to solve a complicated mystery, and both have sense for dark deeds.

Other than that, there's also some hints in the GGY book itself.

For example, how Tony waved to Freddy thinking he was being friendly, and in answer he just stared blankly at Tony.

But in Security Breach if you stare at Freddy for a bit too long, he'll wave to you the same.

Or how Tony figured that Mary from GGY's pass and Mary Schneider (the missing therapist) could be the same person, similar to how Freddy figured that there is something going on with Vanny and Vanessa.

Speaking of coincidences. Just like Freddy, who's not believing the coincidence with Vanny and Vanessa, Tony, who thought of Gs and Ys in the codes of the Glamrocks, which are most likely connected to GGY, also seems to not like them.

Freddy and Tony are both very aware of what is going on, and know more than it might seem at first glance. It's shown that Freddy is aware of the disappearances and other odd things of the Pizzaplex.

First of all, why would Freddy be in Roxy Raceway in the first place? He also said he thinks that something is wrong. Again, he is aware of something going on, and he most likely tried to investigate it. This just reminds of Tony, who's obsessed with investigating, and hates, if mystery remains unsolved. If he takes on it, he will make it until the end, even if his safety or life depends on it.

There are also some cut voice lines, that I'd like to mention. Even though souls are pretty forgetful, they still can remember something. I'll put these two voice lines as an example:

Regarding the second voice line, it seems that Freddy may have remembered something about GGY and Gregory, before he lost control. He could remember that, because Tony looked through the database in the story:

I should tell you, that most of the evidence i said here i took from one of the creators' own video with explanation of this theory, and she mentioned two other things in her video: eyes and how it fits in with lore. The thing is i doubt on the suitability of the first topic, because the video was posted like a year ago, and the second topic requires separate analysis. So i'll probably leave it there for now.

She was often caught two timing, or going back to her ex for a one night stand which well, was very much in a pretend-serious relationship or she would go from one girl to her best friend next causing unceremonious platonic breakups and as if all of that wasn’t enough if Abby didn’t like someone she was rich enough to get them kicked out. Her dad was known to own many prestigious hospitals which meant that Abby was loaded and that ,only added to her attractiveness and power she held over others.

In her head she did nothing wrong. Hurt people, hurt people she would repeat like a mantra until someone called her out for it.

“That's comfort to no one but you Anderson” She could barely see who spoke in the group circle at one of the college parties she frequently attended. Her sights finally landed on you. You weren’t someone she recognised and if she knew any better back then she wished she had never found you in that circle at all

You were sitting across from her, legs crossed,eyes on the phone with one hand resting on your thigh that was covered in transparent black Gucci tights, your fingers tracing the interlocking Gs. You looked up at her barely raising your brows but did not entertain her with an answer. She decided that you would be her new entertainment for the month

And she really did believe it would be easy until one day she was driving you back home and the other she would see you riding back on Ellies black motorcycle with your arms around her waist. Abby would let you borrow her notes only for them to be returned by Nora because you ran into her,which would be fine if it wasn’t for the fact that Nora seemed awfully flustered that day and would ask her about your name the next. She once caught you talking to a friend of yours, who would sneak glances at you and it seemed like you two were talking about her.

She didn’t mind. She was used to girlish councils taking place when someone new was about to make a move for her. She never knew what was said but she could guess

“I'll break her kneecaps if she breaks your heart” and “No I think she is different with me” were included. It was a little more difficult to understand how it could go with you but when you followed her on her socials she assumed it went well enough.

You texted her first ,which was unexpected and when you went out she took notice of your outfit which happened to be a plain satin short black dress that could have been tailored specifically down to your measurements. You complimented her that day,saying that with her hair down her face was framed nicely and her features stood out even more

On the drive back to your dorm from the club you two made out inside her parked car, with her eager to guide you to sit on her lap. She pressed one hand on your thigh circling it around it. You didn’t give her time to take it further when you broke the kiss to answer your phone

“Fuck I forgot my roommate needed me for an assignment today. Sorry I was gonna invite you in but that will have to wait” You said pleading and eagerness seeping in your voice, your eyes glossy. She had you where she wanted you. Abby smirked and pulled you in for another kiss that elicited the most whorish moans out of you and held you there from the back of your neck for a while

“Goodnight” she whispered and you separated ways.

Abby being utter scum days did not end there though. She still believed she only cared about the satisfaction of getting you to bed and bending the one playing hard to get, molding you to fit her grasp. But you didn’t text or show up to class for a week straight. That week she also realized in shame that she had let her hair down after your compliment and she’d catch herself looking at the entrance door every time someone walked in class only for it to not be you. She was reluctant to move on,for reasons unknown but decided to force herself to go through with it,scared of what you did to her. She invited a girl to her condo and went by Ellie’s dorm room to get her monthly weed supply.

Out of all the places she could have ran into you, she did not think she would find you there. With your hair in a messy bun, a baggy gray T-shirt and boxer briefs.

You had stayed the night at Ellie's place

You turned around and smiled at her innocently “Oh hey abs!” you greeted and she seethed with anger at your unbothered attitude. She ignored you and proceeded to have an eternal battle for the rest of the day, drowning out her emotions in the warmth of another girl's arms. She was a mess and she could rip your throat out if she had the chance to do so. That was a new Low. Everyone knew Ellie was her enemy in every way and form and to sleep with her was even below Abby as a move.

She was even more mad when she saw your messages the next day asking her out for coffee which,she did not respond to and when she saw you in class she packed her things and left pretending to be on call.She couldn’t avoid you at Mannys birthday party though where your spirits seemed high and nothing could spoil your mood. She did her best to be on opposite sides of the room until you went to poor drinks at the same time and you offered to fix hers

“You doing good Abs? You seem tired these days. Things alright with exams?” You asked and her eyes widened in shock at your obliviousness to her situation. You had no idea that everything she did was because of you. Not only did you not take offense to it,you even seemed concerned about her physical state and she could differentiate when that happened due to her corrupting and melting someone's brain and when it was because…because you just didn’t care enough to be bothered.

“Are you fucking with me?” she questioned sick of this chase and you looked at her with the same smile that you did a month ago

“No, I'm serious. If you need help, we can study together. Ellie will be visiting her dad next week so I have the room to myself” Abby was ready to slap you until she was starting to decode that sentence

“Who?”

“My roommate. Ellie. Come on,don’t act like you don’t know her”

Abby took a few minutes to snap out of the shock of this awful misunderstanding and then she chuckled. You passed her,her drink and now she was laughing

“Roomamates,fuck..Of course” she whispered and you approached her leaning against the kitchen bar table,letting you be sandwiched by her and the furniture behind you.

“What's so funny? Wanna share with the rest of us?”

“Why didn’t you tell me Ellie was your roommate ? Do you have any idea-”

“Oh I know” you said with a smirk and she held your gaze

“I knew it would bother you. That’s why I didn’t tell you”

so on a whim I started reading omniscient reader’s viewpoint manhwa

..and got hooked on the story so hard that I easily blasted through all available eps in less than a week. istg they put dr*gs in this thing it’s so good???? 😭

GUYSSSSS 🥺 LISTEN. HE’S SUCH A GOOD PROTAGONIST. MY TRAUMA BOY. MY DUDE WITH THE POWER TO INFODUMP PEOPLE TO DEATH. YOU SELF-SACRIFICING IDIOT. his cunning intelligence makes him super attractive what can I say, I LOVE smart mcs with ambiguous morality and self sacrificial nature

here’s a big ✨shut your mouth✨ to every character who’s said he’s ugly- get your eyes checked, get a job get away from him (I know it’s because of the fourth wall’s filter it’s not their fault I’m just being silly)

the fourth wall is such a cool power to have. the complexity of how it acts based on his perception of fiction vs reality as the reader …. that’s very interesting and well thought out!!! how it lowkey has a consciousness too and it’s so tied into his mental state makes me want to psychoanalyze this guy even more. probably one of the most unique powers I’ve seen created and explored in a story tbh

I think the entire system of how the world works is really well done in general. constellations watching the apocalyptic bloodbath via livestream and sending donos to their favorite little guys shouldn’t work as well as it does and cracks me up so much 😭 (uriel is the best). I enjoy learning about all the irl different fables, history & mythologies too. plus doing my own research is fun! I did a deep dive through the web to learn about dokkaebi folklore lol I’m having a good time

I also related hard to how dokja read TWSA throughout his life, the story was a companion for him. got choked up bc I reflected on how much my own favorite companion stories for years mean to me. there’s been situations I’ve thought “what would (character) do?” dokja saying stuff like “what would joonghyuk do?” felt like I got called out <3 I’d probably be the same as him if my favorite characters suddenly came to life

anyways yeah I caught up with the manhwa looked online and discovered it comes from an already completed novel with over 500 chapters and the manhwa is barely a third into adapting it though it’s been releasing every week for 4 years. and that it’ll take like 10 more years to finish. I then planted my face in my hands and screamed with despair

I’ll shrivel up waiting to see what happens……………heyyy woahhhh.. whats this light of salvation ? the novel file just completed download on my phone ? that’s crazyy wow I opened it ? im scrolling it right now ? omg I’m telling myself in the mirror “pace yourself, try to space your reading out do NOT read too fast” ?

jokes aside im excited, first I’ll take some time to read back through the earlier chapters for extra context of scenes! >:D after I finish doing that…. pls pray for my self-control to try stretching this for as long as possible. I’m pumped to see what happens next with this demon king part so maybe I’ll read along with the manhwa unless I get too impatient heh

to conclude- I had no idea the fandom of orv was so passionate. while closing my eyes to spoilers, I was looking at beautiful fanart and animatics (watched this one and ascended that’s one of my fav rin songs). I can tell how much you guys love the story, there’s always going to be people like me who get interested so keep it up :D if the fandom does end up reading this, ummm *knocks on the door* hi im new

No matter how high the affection for other characters, Cloud will not kiss them. He only kisses one character on the highest affection. That cannot be changed. Why?

Because that is the nature of Cloud’s relationship with Tifa. He likes her personality and he thinks she’s hot which means he has excellent taste. Thus he got ✨the vibes✨ and kissed her. When he has high affection with Barret, Red, or anyone else, he does not kiss them. Because that is not the nature of Cloud’s relationship with them.

The dates are optional. But only one option is romantic?!??!?!
