•I feel like this goes without saying, but what an epic Quirk!! Have you ever seen such pure destruction? The scope of it alone is already so huge, but imagine the true damage it could do with even more careful planning and execution. It's fitting for the leader of such a group. People like to rally behind power.

•It's obvious that his Quirk Factor is in his hands, and it seems to be something that's constantly active. I have to wonder, how exactly does he control the rate at which something decays after making contact with it? Is it a choice, or a set rate that continues through the object he makes contact with? (I think I saw in one video that it almost had a domino effect where it spread beyond one thing, which is both cool and a bit scary! Imagine what all that decay could do if left uncontained.)

•I sort of thought that he just had a long face or some kind of maw at first, but then I realized it was a hand. That's...certainly an interesting style choice. I guess it matches the idea of destroying what you touch? I can understand that, but the way he conveys that message is so grey. The outfit and aesthetic hardly seem all that threatening until you get a closer look.

•There are so many questions and ideas I have about this one's Quirk and ideologies. Clearly people respect him as a leader, maybe even more so than they do his boss. Again, people like to rally behind those with power, but "the little guy" doesn't typically feel represented under a tyrant leader with full control. This one's a bit different. Further studies are definitely required, but certain news outlets just don't cut it anymore.

Major Update

Yumekuro will be ending service on November 19, 2024 at 12:00 JST.

Below is some information on Yumekuro Offline, a version of the game that can be accessed even after the servers close. Please let me know if I missed anything important.

Yumekuro Offline

Yumekuro Offline is a static copy of your user data. You will be able to preserve and view all progress you personally have made in the game, but you cannot build your account or obtain new cards.

To download your data, click this button in the lower right of your home screen. The file size will depend on how much content is in your account.

The download option is available from now until November 19, 2024.

After completing the download, if you obtain any new data (ie. new cards or story chapters), they will not carry over to your version of Yumekuro Offline by default. You must redownload your data to preserve any new content you acquire. You can redownload as many times as needed.

IMPORTANT: You will not be able to regain access if you delete or try to reinstall the app after November 19. Some devices have a setting that automatically offloads apps or puts them into "deep sleep" mode. Please make sure to turn this setting off if you're worried about losing access.

What Carries Over to Yumekuro Offline?

Many features will be disabled in Yumekuro Offline. Below is a list of what you can still access.

▪ Home Screen Remains mostly unchanged. You can still set characters, backgrounds, and time-specific voice lines. You can now view player's birthday messages from your owned characters any day of the year.

▪ Stories The following will be made fully accessible, even if you haven't unlocked them yourself:

Main story*

All event stories (including collabs)

Misc stories (ie. login stories, Black Summer, Grand Finale)

*The current Prologue & Chapter 0 of Main Story will be slightly rewritten to omit the battle and gacha features.

All other stories will only be available if you've already unlocked them. This includes:

Meister and fairy cards

Affection stories

Voice dramas

"His perspective" stories

Past stories

Guild stories

Other stories (past exploration, hunting, stadium, fairy events)

EXCEPTION: These card stories will be available to read even if you don't have them unlocked: ・ Crow, Itsuki, Grandflair (Beginning of a Dream) ・ Evan, Navi, Himmel (Beginning of a Bond)

This only includes the card chapters, not their affection stories or outing lines.

Keep in mind that you cannot upgrade cards in Yumekuro Offline, so you MUST unlock all the chapters you want to preserve before completing your data download.

▪ Guild Life All Guild Home features remain intact, limited to the cards you own. You can now view player and meisters' birthday dialogues regardless of the day. Keeper's Board messages will still be available, but you can't obtain new ones.

▪ Library All information in here will remain viewable. The glossary can still be updated if you unlock new terms.

▪ Collection You can view badges and boards you already own.

▪ Alarm You can still use the alarm function.

▪ Player Profile Able to edit your profile like before.

Some new features will be exclusive to Yumekuro Offline. As usual, access to these features is limited to the cards you own.

You'll now be able to access meisters' outing invites and thank-you messages under the "Memories" (思い出) section of the Keeper's Board.

▪︎her haori are damage alot during the fight because she love the haori so much she tried to find a tailor to recreate her damaged haori ( even it cost her half of her savings lol )

▪︎After Kyojuro Death she got an 2nd offer again to be a next Flame Hashira so this time she agree with it

▪︎ Keima the ribbons are inspired by the previous flame hashira cape because she want to keep Rengoku legacy and the remembering of her dear friend Kyojuro death

Homework Due Tuesday 5 March

Fundamentals 1: Software Pūmanawa Object Creation Think about the tools and process we used today. We created an object and gave it a little dimension by giving it some shade and shadow.

Your task is to pick an object and give it a similar treatment. Before you start on the computer you’ll sketch the object on paper and plan out how it’s going to be made – having a plan when making vector objects is helpful so you can organise layers and areas of light and shade etc.

Object choice: Pick an object that’s going to be within your skills to make. Be more ambitious than making a simple red ball! – Don’t pick something too complex, but pick something that will stretch your abilities a little. Sources to find things: You can Google Search ‘vector illustration simple’ to get an idea, or look at a favourite cartoon character, or make a stylised emoji – that’s not all – you can make a car, or a house or a building you like, or any object really, so long as it has some dimenson and thoughtful colouring. If you prefer, you can make a design of your own invention. Noun Project is also a good place to look.

You can do this project as a pair, by picking an object for eachother. If you need to recap on what we did today – you can find in day 3 of Moodle, links to stages of the penduin tutorial.

Requirements: A Tumblr post showing the process of your creation with the following evidence / images / documentation: ▪ Original reference material (if relevant) ▪ Original sketch showing the planning (and simplification if appropriate) of the object, plus how you thought to make shadow ▪ Work in progress of the Illustrator file ▪ Final finished piece ▪ Labelling and documentation under each picture ▪ Final reflection on how it went – i.e. what was difficult? What tools were used? What parts are you proud of? Why did you choose this object? If you made another object, what would it be? What tools what you practice more? What part of the workflow was slowest? (Important!) – and any other observations you can think of. ▪ Add any new keyboard shortcuts you may have used, and any new workflow discoveries? HAND IN is Tuesday morning – i.e. this needs to be up in your Tumblr by then.

How to Play HyperCard Games on Windows 10 (and Linux, OS X, etc)

so after spending some of yesterday trying to figure out how to run Caper in the Castro offline, and realizing the biggest problem was finding the right files to make it work, I've decided to write this little guide for you all!

Disclaimers: you do this at your own risk, legal stuff is complicated, this is for educational purposes only, don't pirate Apple's ancient software, etc etc

Setup:

▪ Download Mini vMac from this website (making sure to choose the correct version for your OS) and extract "Mini vMac.exe" to your folder of choice.

▪ Go here, hit "Show All" under "Download Options", and download the file "System 6.0.8.zip" and extract it.

▪ Open the extracted folder and go to the "Content" folder, then "mnvm_dat", and find the file "vMac.ROM"

▪ Copy or move that file to the same folder where you have "Mini vMac.exe"

(At this point, you can delete the rest of the files you extracted from "System 6.0.8.zip". You don't need them.)

▪ Go here, hit "Show All" again, and download "HyperCardBootSystem7.img"

▪ Download whatever HyperCard games you'd like to play.

Playing Games:

▪ Double-click "Mini vMac.exe" to open it.

▪ There will be a loud beep, and the program should open and show an image of a floppy disk with a question mark on it.

▪ Drag-and-drop "HyperCardBootSystem7.img" into the program window, and let it think about that for a second, until it says "Welcome to Macintosh" and loads up the desktop.

▪ Drag-and-drop your game disk image (for Caper in the Castro it's just "disk.img") into the window, and then open the disk when it appears.

▪ When you are done playing, exit the game ("File" -> "Quit") and then go to "Special" -> "Shut Down" to safely shut down the machine before closing the window.

Optional step: Hold down the CTRL key, and then hit the M key to make the window bigger.

and there you go! that's how to run HyperCard games on Windows 10 (or on any system that Mini vMac works on, in theory)
