anyway it’s been a while since i ranted about this on here and i’d hate any new followers to miss out on the salt so,,, hey, did u all know i can’t stand the puppy nickname? :)  like. i don’t mind if, in rp, another muse jokingly uses the nickname because they’d have canonically heard it somewhere. angeal called him that occasionally ( like, not even all the time?? it was just a playful nickname?? ) so. yeah. if your muse wants to roast zack a bit and call him that, i getcha. but expect him to visibly cringe and hate every second of it because he canonically fuckin hates the name. he accepts it from angeal, but literally cringes if anyone else mentions it because it a) reminds him of angeal and b) reminds him of his younger self being embarrassing. angeal gave him the nickname bc he was an excited fourteen year old kid with adhd and a constantly shifting attention span who followed angeal around because he was awed by him. zack has since grown up. he does not appreciate being treated like a child anymore.  but what i really hate a lot is that the fandom has just...... adopted this nickname and won’t let it go???? like it’s cool to just refer to zack as a puppy as if allocating that dumb nickname to him sums up his entire personality and his characteristics? idk man, you do you but i’ll always be salty that this ‘cutesy fluffy sweet puppy boy’ thing is what he’s forever reduced to. ANYWAY THAT’S JUST MY OPINION.

I love the idea of soulmate threads but like... not forced ones?? ( not for reblog ) do u think the shinra company has an annual awkward christmas party,,, and all the soldier members inevitably have to be ordered to leave their weaponry outside and there’s a ridiculous moment where they gotta fish their spare daggers outta their socks just so they’re allowed inside, then they all pout all night..... and nobody rlly wants to be there so they all just get silly drunk instead and kunsel ends up with a folder full of rlly incriminating drunk photos for gossip purposes.... and then nobody speaks of it ever again for a full year
