I was inspired by my beloved moot @a-rabid-snake's humanizations of Saint and Arti, so i decided to take a crack at making a human version of Saint lol
Y'all already KNOW they're snug as a bug in a rug
anyways its just a concept so far, and im still cooking up the Arti design so if you have any, plz throw some constructive criticism at me cause I wanna improve the Saint design lol
(their hair is that thing ppl sometimes do in the winter, thick braids that loop over the ears and get woven (or tied) together and then they function as earmuffs sorta. Ik Saint looks super feminine, they're still nb but long hair is a nice perk to have in the cold!)

now im learning. phoneme editing for english is fun as FUCK in sv2
#i am also discovering brand new bugs <3 mostly with inputting numbers into sliders/dials like the vocal modes and vibrato mod#if i input a number and click away without pressing enter first and i dont click perfectly on the right spot (notes panel)#the input wont be recorded. also if i input a number in a dial and click to a different note group without pressing enter first#the number will go to the second note group's dial but not the first#i need to do more tests. im beta testing your software kanru. whether you like it or not. im going to break ur software by the seams <3#anyway im having a lot of fun on a mo xu trial cover im working on thats in english#and its so much easier to play with vowels and consonant length and all that now with the phoneme panel#ive mentioned before i personally have very vowelly vowels and i drag out my consonants kinda long#so its neat being able to more easily match that pronunciation!#i will say a tip - if a vowel doesnt seem strong enough -> put a duplicate of it right next to it#like if you have the word bee. and its pronouncing it kinda like beehh like too lax#turn the phonemes from 'b iy' to b iy iy' and mess around with the durations of the two iy's until it sounds right#i have some kinda fucked up raised by 70s rural ontarian immigrants who learned english through tv sort of accent#and i WILL turn everything into a diphthong#i will turn your diphthongs into. triphthongs? quadriphthongs? i will do it#also helps with some consonants like ending r sounds in like for there etc#just put a second r? for some reason sounds better than making the one r's duration longer?#i am still having trouble with phoneme editing in japanese tho. doesnt seem to work as well? maybe i just need to play around more

My toxic trait is I join online language learning communities and just dump a bunch of research-supported information on them that corrects their YouTube polyglot influencer-provided misinformation and misunderstandings of real research and then I vanish again

i think the reason ppl get so uppity about you calling a scam a scam rn is bc they feel so powerless about the situation in i/p that they'll take ANYTHING to feel like they're contributing. they dont want to be the bystanders who have no real sway that they are, they want to be the heroes of the story, and if they dont at least have the scams to rely on for their image, how will everyone know how good of a person they are and praise them for saving the day???????????????

I promise you if I worked 60+ hours a week, I wouldn't want to work 40 hours, I'd want to not work at all. Just like I'd want with 40 hours a week.
It doesn't matter how much more hours you'd put as a comparison, too much is too much, no matter if it's too much by 10 or 50 hours.

Jean’s movie education consists of nothing but every season of Full House and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s entire filmography. He enjoys it in a lukewarm way that is more about the company he’s watching with than the actual merits of the movies and shows. They show him Fuller House when it comes out and he hates it. Where are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Why are they not here

I don’t have anxiety but I do have autism and the moment I’m perceived as something more than a generic customer, the entire interaction becomes so much more mentally taxing.
I like getting to be anonymous and inconsequential and to rely on a basic social script! I like having spaces I can exist in outside my own home where I don’t have to mask to the same degree or perform neurotypical personhood!
I know it’s never out of malice but it really feels like the equivalent of being forced to upgrade from a free plan to a paid one.
Starving to death this morning because ive been to the new local cafe twice this week already and if i go a third time ill look desperate.
#‘will I have to do a social performance?’ is part of my decision making criteria sometimes#if it’s a firm ‘yes’ I am far less likely to go bc there will be times where I REALLY don’t wanna or straight up can’t#meanwhile if I only have to do the cursory established script I can p much always do that one#I know I’m in the minority but the best customer service is the one where only essential words are exchanged#I love in maccies with the machines where you input your order and wait#then they call your number and you step forward and take your bag and just say ‘thank you’ and ‘have a nice day’ and that’s IT#the ideal#I am just an order number it’s perfect#and I know the words bc they’re always ‘yes’ ‘thank you’ and ‘have a nice day’#I will never be thrown off script or expected to be or do anything more

We’ve got a whole host of announcements for you, but first, we need your help.
Virtual DashCon 2
Plenty of people weren’t able to get tickets to DashCon 2, but we’re looking to expand the convention into a hybrid model with live streams of DashCon 2 events, online-only panels, and a virtual convention hall in a private Discord server!
We are currently in communication with a professional livestream service in Toronto to have panels - and our upcoming announcement - streamed to the public. However, for this investment to be worthwhile, we have to get a good estimation of numbers. Please answer this poll to let us know!
While we can’t be 100% sure yet, we estimate tickets being ½ the price of in-person admission ($17.50 CAD; ~$12.50 USD or ~11.20 € at time of writing).
