OHSHC AU where reader breaks a precious arrifact from one of the dorms maybe all but instead of repaying the huggeeee debt with hours of labour she has to pay with her body and can’t refuse :)
every kink in the book is used as she’s pleading with the dorm leaders for mercy, crying about forgiveness but all they can hear is that her mouth is very wide open and needs to be replaced with a cock or gag </3 poor reader doesn’t have time to take birth control! and none of the students at nrc know what condoms are oopsies!! imagine savanaclaw in their heat … oh boy rip her pussy! she’ll never know a peaceful day until graduation but even then one of the dorm leaders might take her with them to spend forever with them
Omg yes,,, ohshc au, but it's freaky and full of sex because those scheming boys now have a girl in their debt and that opens so many possibilities. Their methods in dealing with you would all be different, of course, but in the end you're probably getting dicked down either way. <3
I think Riddle's punishments are probably more old-fashioned. If you can't fix whatever it is you broke, then you will write lines stating that you will be more careful, that you won't break anything again, etc. Or he'll make you write an essay detailing why exactly you're sorry, why you ought to be forgiven, etc. T_T really, these are just punishments his own mother gave to him in order to push him to do better in his studies. Riddle doesn't know any better.
He thinks differently when someone like Ace or Cater offhandedly and jokingly remarks how unlucky you must feel. Good thing their Housewarden isn't some pervert, otherwise he could totally force you to give him blowjobs whenever he wanted all under the guise of "repaying your debt." Riddle is appalled. He would never stoop so low! This is Heartslabyul, not Octavinelle. >:( still, the basic concept is just a little appealing. So maybe he's got a small crush on you, and maybe it would be easier to get you to spend time with him if you had no other choice. He makes you join him for tea parties in the gardens, for games of croquet, etc. His hope is that you'll warm up to him and not feel so rigid around him. orz
Leona probably doesn't care as much about the artifact as someone like Riddle might. It has no sentimental value to him personally, so why should he be worried? Besides, it was pretty old anyway. But that doesn't mean you can get off completely innocent. You're the reason he's got more work on his plate now, what with having to deal with the Headmage squawking at him about it. He allows you to choose between two punishments: either you become Savanaclaw's errand girl and do much the same work Ruggie does around the dorm, or you spend every night literally warming his bed (i.e. let him use you as a pillow if you're going to be good and still and quiet). If you want an easy way out, you'll choose the latter. Besides, his bed is comfortable, big enough for two. And as long as you aren't a pain, he doesn't mind. (You are definitely going to be warming his bed in other ways. The innuendo in his words is not lost on Leona.)
Azul...... of course he's slimy and sleazy about it. Oh, you poor soul. How is he ever going to get over this dear, priceless artifact that you have so carelessly broke? Jade is there to oh-so-helpfully inform you of its market price and what it could currently go for if sold. And Floyd's there to poke fun at the unfortunate predicament you've found yourself in. But Azul is a resourceful octopus. He makes a grand show of contemplating what he should do with you just to watch you squirm nervously, as if he hasn't already planned it out from the very beginning. He'll capitalize on your being a girl and have you work the floor in the lounge. There's always an increase in tips and sales when you're serving the customers, and why wouldn't there be? A cute, helpless girl in a school full of boys is an appealing sight.
He's irritating, but he isn't callous! Jade and Floyd are there to look out for you in case any of the patrons get it in their heads that they ought to appreciate you through touch instead of simply staring. Your uniforms change with every new event Mostro Lounge holds. Azul knows his target audience well because he also fits into that same group LOL. So maybe the sight of you in frilly uniforms is appealing. Sue him. >_< he wants you so badly, and luckily (with you being indebted to him) he has you all to himself. :) after hours are a very fun time at the lounge.
Kalim doesn't see what the issue is. He's not mad, so please don't cry!!! 🥺 you'll make him cry if you're not happy... Jamil is just about ready to pass out while he calculates just how bad this is. And here Kalim is, not caring in the slightest! T_T but Kalim is more sympathetic towards you, not the vase you broke. Besides, he can just get another one. :D no harm done at all! There really isn't any punishment to be had. If you insist on repaying your debt, Kalim tells you it's all water under the bridge.
Jamil is the only one who insists this is a good idea, and if Jamil thinks it's fine then Kalim agrees. So now you're sort of,,, there in Scarabia. Jamil puts you to work when Kalim isn't around, but when Kalim is there he spoils you rotten. The complete opposite of a punishment. There's definitely dubious shadows to this, though. For all of the delicious foods and alcohol you consume, you wake with hazy memories, only ever recalling you looked into the eyes of...something before you fell. Was it a snake? Maybe... but Kalim is always there in the morning to smother you in affection, so maybe it's not so bad.
You are Vil's newest pet project. He goes in with metaphorical fork and knife and cuts into you with his criticism, all of which is completely valid. You were clumsy when you broke that artifact. You weren't paying attention to your surroundings. You were completely oblivious, so in your own world. Epel would feel bad for you, but finally he gets to relax just a little bit now that Vil's eyes are mostly off of him and centered on you. Vil is going to put you through a reformation of sorts. You will come out of it your best, most elegant self! A wonderful improvement from your earlier carelessness. Only then will he forgive your previous transgression.
You and Vil get on like oil and water. That is, you don't mix at all. You are subjected to curses left and right because Vil is so strict. Suddenly, you can't eat certain foods and if you try to sneak them you find they've all been cursed (courtesy of Vil). If you try to slack on the work he has you do, even when you know he's not around, somehow word gets back to Vil. That creepy hunter always seems to know everything you do even when you're alone. It's troubling. Vil likes to think his heart is an iron fortress, so it's impossible to fathom when he falls for you first (and so hopelessly, at that)!
Idia doesn't put as much value in that artifact as he does in his own anime collection. If you broke something from his collection that was limited edition, he'd be far more upset (and then proceed to pull out the second one he got as back-up for this very specific moment). But this is an easy fix, really. He has the technology to make it good as new and, if that can't be done, he can always build a new one. Upgrades are important and necessary in some cases, especially when things get too outdated. It's a little awkward having a real 3D girl in his room all the time, though. >_< kick his ass in the twst equivalent of Smash and he's looking at you in a completely different light (hearing you trash talk him is so arousing; he's never been more hard).
Let's say the thing you broke in this case was a gargoyle. You're not sure how it happened, but it's headless now and Malleus is just staring silently at you. You can't read the emotions on his face, but with the way Sebek is shouting at you to get on your knees and beg for forgiveness you think you're about to be burnt to a crisp. It's so uneasy and awkward, and all you can do is apologize profusely, insisting you didn't mean to break it. It's Lilia who comes to your rescue: "Now, now, Malleus. You'll scare the poor child if you keep frowning so. Mistakes happen, do they not?" Silver also comes to your aid, adding that it wasn't your intention to break this gargoyle. It was an accident.
So now here you are, the second member of the Gargoyle Studies Club, accompanying Malleus for club activities while he teaches you all about gargoyles so that you can gain a better appreciation for them. It was Lilia's idea in the first place. He is Malleus's unofficial wingman. One way or another, you're going to find yourself alone in the woods with Malleus while Lilia is in the bushes belting out "romantic" love ballads from the old ages. T_T someone put peepaw to bed... at the very least, it lessens the awkward tension between you and Malleus, and it even gets the both of you laughing.
#twisted chit chat#n/sfw#tw: dubcon#i wrote it and yet it isn't nearly as freaky... orz it's a slow burn sort of freak :3

Written in the Stars
Angst - Regulus Black x F!Reader Word count: 1,163 I've been quite busy with work lately, sorry for the short one shot!
Before the summer of 1979, Regulus Black had a decently average school life. The boy found solitude in the Astronomy tower north of the castle. Far from other students and yet was drawn to one particular witch. Y/N L/N was unlike any other wizard at the school. What she lacked in social prowess, she bloomed in intimate confessions. The pair found themselves forever intertwined, always in the same class, always sat next to each other, always in the library at the same time every week. It was only a matter of time until they their time beyond academia branched into bi-weekly escapades in the Astronomy tower. At first, Regulus found it to be a hindrance to his peaceful hobby. But overtime, he craved Y/N’s presence at the mere sight of a telescope. He could feel his skin come out in hives when they were a part, he could not breathe the air that she did not exhale. In her regular outlandish character, Y/N stuck to him like glue the moment they both step foot in the tower. Their silent haven, where the heavens and stars above were their only witness.
Tracking the stars and journeys of the planets were a veil for these evenings, both sat shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand, fingers interlaced as they gaze above at the open sunset. A beautiful scene unlike any other, that would only bloom by their love.
Y/N knew of Regulus’ dangers and tormenting life, the walls in his mind that he had built from steel and brick would only come down for her. She was determined to be his pillar, his guiding light. He was determined to never harm her, to always protect her no matter the cost.
“Regulus, do you think you could, leave Grimmauld Place? Like your brother?” The H/C haired witch mumbled. These conversations were always met with a blank stare, the discussion of his heritage was met with destain from her partner.
“You know it’s not that easy. That bastard ran off because he had a choice, I don’t.”
“Maybe… You could choose me. My mother won’t mind another mouth to feed, really! She loves to cook! She always makes like twelve times the recommended portion sizes! You could come with me next week, when we go back to London. My dad will drive us!” Y/N rambled, trying to ease the tense air between them. Regulus only delicately rubbed the back of her hand, his breathing steadied at the touch of Y/N skin.
“…Perhaps mon cœur. But there’s too much expected of me this year, now that Sirius is gone. The pride and nobility of the Black family lies upon my shoulders.”
Y/N was never fond of how her partner spoke so formally around her, the extension of his upbringing bled even into his everyday behaviour. She just wanted him to relax around her. Because to her, Regulus was not the spare turned heir. They weren’t even wizards in her eyes. Just two kids in love who want to spend every waking hour together.
“I know that, but what I’m trying to say is that, I’m always here for you Reg!” She turns her head to face him, his eyes slightly widened like a deer in headlights, she grips his hand with both of her own, the veins along his boney hands were pumping his blue blood rapidly, she could taste his anxieties.
“I just don’t want to hurt you.”
“Then hurt me. Reggie, I’m not the delicate doll you think me to be. I am here for you. Because I want you. If it means I get hurt just for being with you then so be it. Because you are who I care about and love. Screw those mad preaching twats, I just want you.” He did not need to speak, Y/N knew him from the way he breathes, speaks and walks. She knows, all that Regulus had to do was come to her.
Before nightfall, the two kissed a goodnight blessing and parted ways to their respected houses. Despite his standing as a Slytherin in Hogwarts, Y/N did not care for the stares from his fellow green scaled classmates. But Regulus Black was not one for social rejection. He had kept his relationship with Y/N as discreetly as he can, only ever brushing his hand against hers for a millisecond whenever they passed in the halls. He made sure that their meetings could easily be read as merely coincidence. But the cunning snakes of his house were not foolish. They know how to plot and scheme in secret. To them, Regulus was obvious and they hated how he reeked of Y/N’s perfume every time he stepped foot in the common room. He would persistently deny that he ever cared for what others thought of him, he knew that he mustn’t tarnish the Black name. Toujours pur. Since Sirius’ excommunication from the family, he represents the family name in Hogwarts. He is to carry his family’s reputation for the future of the wizarding world. He knew the weight that he must carry.
But Y/N was everything he ever wanted, and everything that his family hated. She was a Gryffindor, she lacked any class or etiquette, and most of all, she was muggle born. He cursed the stars for shining their light towards her, he did not wish to have a beacon of light, he had finally accepted that anchor that ties him to the darkness. Yet there she was, a beam of hope that was merely inches away from his grasp. If he could only reach out, maybe this summer he could escape his destiny.
That night before he could even shut his eyes, a familiar owl perched on the distant window sill of the dungeon. A letter flew down from the crack of the window, and landed in front of him, the parchment was coarse, his name scribbled on with black ink and the recognisable stamp from his home. The Black sigil only meant one thing. Upon opening it, there was nothing else written on it other than the words:
You will leave for home tomorrow morning.
Before he could say his goodbyes, he wrote his final letter to Y/N L/N.
Mon cœur, This arrangement has been the pleasure of a lifetime. But we are still from different worlds. Do not come for me, do not reach out to me. I will always be grateful for what we had. Je t’aime, jusqu’à mon dernier souffle. R.
Regulus did not take the Hogwarts Express back to London with Y/N like they had planned. Regulus Black’s destiny did not lie in his hands, he couldn’t grasp whatever life rope Y/N L/N dangled in front of him. Regulus Black knew that the stars only charted towards his sinful fate. Regulus Black never got to board the Hogwarts Express ever again.

hi! i love reading the discussions you have about twilight. i was wondering, what do you think Bella’s career would be if she cared enough to have one? ik Stephanie said teacher, but that seems really ooc for Bella tbh. can’t see her wanting to be a housewife for long either, especially when recipe grows up and leaves. i could see her as a writer maybe, though im not sure about the type of books she’d write (vampire romance ?? 😭). also maybe something with book stores or libraries. teaching seems like an extroverted job, and she’s the opposite of that.
You're right that SM said that Bella had planned to become a teacher. She said that her mother's career was the one thing Bella admired about Renee, but that Bella wanted to teach older kids, so like high school. But I agree with you that doesn't really seem like a Bella thing to do. Bella doesn't even like high school students while she IS one herself, I don't see her enjoying that kind of work at all.
Although to be fair I know lots of people who sort of had a vague idea about "becoming a teacher" because they didn't know what else to do with their area of interest (in this case, Bella's love of reading) but then when they took their first education classes in college they were like "yikes, nope, not for me." So this might have happened to Bella eventually.
I definitely feel like the bookstore idea is more her speed. She's actually pretty organized and practical so I think she could run a small business no problem, and she does seem to take some pleasure in keeping things running even though she shouldn't have had to do so on behalf of her parents. It would probably be more fun and rewarding for her when it's a choice. Could totally see her dabbling in writing on the side but feeling like "oh it's not any good" given her self-esteem issues, but eventually a friend (Jacob? Angela? maybe even Mike or Jess but I don't feel like she'd trust them enough to show them her writing) would encourage her to try and publish.
Now if this is all happening in a world where she did marry Edward and become a vampire, then the Cullen money would make this bookstore thing super easy, barely an inconvenience. Edward would just buy the cutest bookstore and have Bella take over, but it would feel kind of hollow, like she's just "playing bookstore" because she didn't have to try. And of course Edward would get her books published under a fake name and . . . you know, maybe that's how Twilight exists in the first place.
Libraries are also a good option! I am myself a librarian so I speak with some authority on this, haha. I think Bella would do great with some of the behind-the-scenes work like cataloging (which was my previous job) or collection development (Selecting and Buying the stuff, which is my current job) or maybe even shelving books, but she'd HATE the more customer-facing stuff like programming, circulation, reference. At my library even those of us with behind-the-scenes jobs do have some time on the service desks helping patrons, and as an introvert it's not my favorite but most library jobs start there. Almost everyone I know got their foot in the door of the library with some part time circulation desk job and then worked up to something better and I don't know if Bella makes it past that hurdle. The library is about being there for the community and meeting THEIR needs; a bookstore she could set up to her own tastes.

The Anomaly || JJK
Bonus Chapter: Nanami Kento
summary : In which you're isekai'd from your (own) parallel Jujutsu Kaisen universe to the canon universe. (or, for this chapter, Nanami's favorite moments with you)
wordcount : 2.3k
Pairing: Jujutsu Kaisen X Reader, mostly platonic Nanami Kento x reader for this one
Masterlist | Next
2016, Parallel Jujutsu Kaisen Universe
" Okay, so because the two of you have been a pain in everyone's ass- Here's Nanami Kento! Jujutsu Tech's ex-salary man!"
Gojo Satoru is much too excited as he introduces you and Sukuna to the blonde, who's raising a brow in question.
" Please don't introduce me like that. Also, they look young. Are they even students yet?"
" We may be young, but I promise you I can beat your ass."
Nanami blinks at 14 year old Sukuna. You grin from beside him.
Nanami blinks at you too.
" They're a little younger indeed, they'll be students here in 2 years. "
Gojo is still much too excited about the whole deal. Sending two fourteen year olds along with him on missions doesn't sound like a good idea.
" No. They'll just be in the way."
From the corner of Nanami's eye, he can see you pout, cocking your head.
" Well, either they go with you or they go with me. The higher ups ordered it, and there's no one else I trust with them."
Nanami raises a brow.
" Why would the higher ups order this?"
Both Sukuna and you are listening in on their conversation, and neither Gojo nor Nanami miss that.
However, just to their luck-
" Ah, Sukuna. Back here to get your ass beat?"
The teen snorts as he turns around, a smirk on his face as he smirks at Maki.
" You wish! I've been practicing. I'm sure I've gotten stronger!"
And just like that, Sukuna is tugging you along, away from the two adults who are very grateful for this coincidental moment.
" They want Y/N dead. They don't really care about Sukuna, but the two of them stick together like glue. "
Nanami glances at Gojo in surprise.
" Why? They're only children."
" Exactly. They're weak now. Easy to kill. Y/N's cursed technique renders the Kamo clan's immobile. They're powerless against her. Of course, they don't accept that. "
" I thought Y/N is from the Kamo clan?"
" She is. Hence why the higher ups are send onto them instead of any of the Kamo members. They're afraid of her parents."
Nanami nods.
He vividly remembers your mother, and has only heard rumors about your father. Not two people you want to be up against, not two people who'll allow you to get away if you'd murder their child.
Nanami thinks about it for a moment, before sighing.
" How often would I need to take them with me?"
" Once or twice a week for the summer break. They'll spend the rest of their time with Maki, Panda, the Jujutsu Tech staff members, Nitta and Ijichi."
Nanami nods.
" Alright. I'll find time. They will not be going on missions though."
-
Nanami finds himself pleasantly surprised. You're a pleasant kid to be around, mature enough to understand obvious choices. Sukuna is sadly not. The teenager is rude, annoying, and tends to only listen once he's beat up. Very annoying. Thankfully, you seem to cancel out his annoying attitude pleasantly, making your time together less of a forced hassle and much more pleasant.
Unexpectedly, he had found himself growing closer with you especially. He learned how to work with Sukuna. Now it never went as smoothly as it was when talking to you, but it was nice nonetheless.
Today is one of those very, very rare days. One he willingly chooses to spend with his colleagues.
" Turn right here."
Ijichi does as he says.
In the backseat, your face is pressed to the window. Sukuna is sat beside you, playing some Dark Dome puzzle game on his phone. (Idk if u ever did but I promise their games are awesome and fun.)
Beside him is none other than Satoru Gojo. For some reason, he has invited himself on this trip as well. Nanami figures that this must be so he can slack off more than he usually does. And although Nanami disapproves, he does accept it. You especially seemed happy when Gojo announced he'd join on your trip, and for some silly reason, Nanami finds himself much more relaxed when you're around.
" So, where are we going again? Are we there yet?"
It's Sukuna who's asking the question, eyes still on his mobile game.
Meanwhile you gasp, your eyes shining as you take in the sight in front of you.
" Nanami, is that the beach?!"
Now this seemed to catch Sukuna's attention. Finally, he saves his game and tucks his phone away, peeking over your shoulder. The two of you looking at your new surroundings with wide eyes.
Indeed, the car has driven into a dune like range, sand meddling with the road now.
Moments later, you're stepping out of the car, and you're jumping in excitement as you make your way to the ocean. Nanami is walking beside you, his jacket slung over his arm, his hands tucked in his pocket.
It's too cold to swim today, so he hadn't told you nor Sukuna nor anyone else to bring swimsuits. However, it was rare to have the time to actually come all the way here. He figured he might as well make use of it.
" The base of your cursed technique is water. I figured you'd like the ocean."
And you do. He can see it in the way your eyes twinkle, taking in the sight of you.
Behind the two of you, Sukuna and Gojo are fooling around, with Ijichi watching them with a smile. It's a relaxing, rare moment.
" I do! This feels great!"
All Nanami can do is chuckle as you approach the ocean.
You don't allow the cold water to deter you. You run straight into the water, allowing it to reach to your knees.
Sukuna chases after you, as exited as you are.
" Woah! The water is so cold- Doesn't it bother you?"
" No- Watch this!"
Focusing, you raise your palms, and soon enough, you're taking control of the water surrounding you.
Nanami is watching you with a fond smile, the breeze running through his hair as he breaths in the scent of the ocean.
" You've grown quite fond of them, haven't you? "
Nanami hums, not ashamed to admit that he has. Gojo grins at nothing in particular.
" Me too- Wait,what?"
Gojo has peeled away part of his blindfold to look at where you're stood in the water, focusing on your surroundings.
Nanami raises a brow.
" Something wrong? "
" Y/N's cursed energy- It's changing-"
Both men watch with wide eyes as you create a water hose. You seem to have fun with it too.
Sukuna, who seemingly has no fear of dying, is having fun too, completely swept up in the whirlwind of water.
Nanami face palms. He'll have to teach the two of you how to be less reckless together. For now however, he'll let you have this moment.
-
Many hours later, you're sat on the grassy field of Jujutsu Tech, waiting for your parents. Sukuna is inside the building with Gojo and Ijichi, now sneezing and probably sick thanks to the cold temperature of the water.
" Thank you for bringing us there. It was beautiful. I never felt so... free."
You're smiling at him, all happy and content.
And like always, Nanami smiles back, feeling more relaxed with you than he does with most people.
" I love the ocean myself too. It was as much fun for me as it is for you."
You grin at his words.
For a moment, a silence settles over the two of you. However, it's pleasant. Today was the last day of your summer break/Jujutsu Tech stay. After the weekend, you will be in your final year for middle school and he will go back to the routine he was used to before this summer.
" Y/N?"
You turn to him, humming.
" Yeah?"
" On the first day I watched over you and Sukuna, I told you that you didn't have the power required to be a sorcerer."
You hum, nodding.
" Yeah, I know..."
" I'd like to take that back-"
Originally, you had averted your gaze to look at the sky again, however, hearing his words, you turn back to him with wide eyes.
" -You're powerful. I truly underestimated you. You can make it. If you want to be a Jujutsu sorcerer, then you should pursue it."
Truth to be told, Nanami just knew you had the power to change things. Perhaps, if you followed Gojo a little bit, and learned what you needed to know, you'd be very well on your way.
You were meant for something great. He just knew it.
You smile at him, feeling proud you somehow managed to get a compliment like this one out of him.
" Thank you! Don't worry. I'll make sure you and so many others will have the chance to rest."
Nanami smiles back at you in return.
-
4 months ago, Parallel Jujutsu Kaisen Universe
" Oh, Nanami, you're here!"
Nanami glances up from the newspaper he's reading, greeting you with a smile. Opposite him, Gojo gapes at him.
" So you do know how to smile!"
Nanami pointedly ignores him like he's been doing for the past ten minutes.
" Y/N, it's nice to see you again."
You grin at his words, nodding in agreement.
" It is! I thought I'd notice your cursed energy here. Are you busy?"
" Not yet. I still have some hours left until the meeting starts. "
" Cool. I've made a sourdough starter. Wanna make bread?"
He raises a brow, not having expected that. Nonetheless, he gets up, putting the paper he had been reading to the side.
" Sure, I have time for that."
About 5 minutes later, Nanami finds himself stood in the dormitories' kitchen. He hasn't been here in a very long while.
The two of you are having fun setting the dough, measuring the ingredients to a recipe you found online and working together to make two buns of dough.
Nanami can't help but enjoy the moment. It's been a while since he made sourdough, and it's also been a while since he spent time with you.
You're one of the rare students he doesn't mind spending his free time with. Your demeanor is calm enough around him, and you're not constantly filling his head with nonsense like Gojo.
Soon enough, two balls of dough are rising under a plastic bubble wrap and a hand towel.
The two of you are chatting away peacefully in the kitchen, waiting on the dough.
Suddenly, Yuuji pops his head in the kitchen, having smelled something from a distance.
" Y/N, what're you baking- Oh, Nanamin, you're here too?"
Of course, Yuuji knows that Nanami had looked over you a few years ago, and that you hung out from time to time together in a peaceful manner.
" Good afternoon, Itadori."
" We're making bread."
" What kind?"
" Sourdough- I put moonseeds on mine."
Yuuji hums, before joining the two of you in the kitchen area, idly chatting away.
Truth to be told, Nanami is more fond of Yuuji than Sukuna. He's pleasant to be around, and a much better listener than his twin counterpart.
The last few hours are spent chatting away with both you and Yuuji, content to spend time together in the kitchen.
At the end of the day, Nanami leaves with a small loaf of bread in a plastic bag. Feeling content and happy in that rare way he rarely does.
-
Modern day, Parallel Jujutsu Kaisen Universe
" Fushiguro-"
Nanami Kento is taken by surprise as he notices the teenager, all bloodied up, like he just returned from a huge fight.
" Nanami-"
Fushiguro has to take a break from speaking, breathing in deeply. Either he rushed all the way here, or he's in pain.
" Fushiguro, go see Ieri, you loo-"
" No. I'm fine.- Y/N's not dead."
Nanami's eyes widen. He rushes the teenager to sit down, wanting to know more.
Although he's never admitted it out loud, he cares about you a lot. Not that he ever needed to admit it, everyone was already well aware of it.
Megumi sits down beside him, throwing the weapon he's holding on the table.
Sukuna's Inverted Spear of Heaven. A weapon the marked boy doesn't leave lying around.
Why did Megumi have it?
" Sukuna and I- We went looking for her. Instead, we found it. Some curse. It almost looks human- it's intelligent. It got Sukuna. I saw it from a distant. It uses some kind of golden ring to teleport them somewhere. My guess is very far away."
Nanami's taking in the information, surprised, but glad.
At least he knows you're alive. He'll be able to notify your parents and let them know.
He will bring you and Sukuna back.
One thing however, he's sure of. Nothing will be able to kill you if you and Sukuna stick together.
" Fushiguro, we need to talk to Gojo."

hello, anon here again. i have a few story ideas just in case you ever run out of ideas :)
I. the old hanahaki disease with sukuna.
reader is one of his faithful servants and all that and she’s grown to have a liking towards sukuna. she knows it’s stupid but she can’t help her feelings towards him, because even though he doesn’t directly say it, he’s (accidentally) showed how much he actually cares for reader, even though he doesn’t. he’s actually in love (or has an attraction) towards yorozu or anyone of your choice. so in the end, reader finds out she’s suffering from hanahaki & tries to hide it while sukunas over here banging yoruzu or whoever without a care in the world for reader
II. in another life with nanami
nanami is suffering from a disease that’s incurable and only has a few days left to live. and in those days, reader makes it the best for him to enjoy (sorry if that doesn’t make sense, english isn’t my mothers tongue). they do all sorts of things that nanami has been waiting to do and in his final moments, nanami wants to let out his final last words to her. but before he could say it, he dies. reader goes through all the stages of grief after he dies. she just can’t get herself to move on especially after all she’s been through. a few years after nanami dies, reader has a steady job, blah blah. and one day catches herself going to the park. she accidentally makes eye contact with a man that looks EXACTLY like nanami. could it be? her nanami? the man smiles at her and brushes past her soldier. and you can chose to end it from there :)
III. i don’t know what to name this (could be a second chances with geto) but
reader is a single mom to her 1 year old daughter. when her daughter was born, her shitty ex boyfriend left (smh). but ever since then, reader has been the best mother to her daughter. she plays both the mother and the father. reader works a steady job and even though her boss may be hard on her, she still pushes through and earns her bands. one day, reader and her daughter go out to some play place and she accidentally lets her daughter go lose. she starts panicking because how could she be so careless with her own daughter? but that’s where gentleman geto comes in and asks if our daughter is ours. we end up showering him with thanks but something catches our eye. he looks like the suguru geto we dated in high school. the same suguru geto who we planned our life out together. the same suguru geto who we broke up with because we were just to caught up in our own feelings? and you can continue it from there :)
IIII. popular boy!gojo (with a bit of forbidden love ??)
a typical trope of the popular guy falling in love with the quiet girl. satoru gojo. the son of the richest man in japan. if anyone fucks with gojo, they face the consequences through his father. but despite all that, gojo is your typical popular boy. he’s insanely rich, snobby, and a bop. he’s had multiple ex girlfriends who’s only used him for his status and wealth. so long story short, gojos basically never had a real girlfriend who’s shown him what real love is. all this continued until he laid his eyes on reader. he has no idea who she is. he’s asked geto, nanami, any of his friends to see if he could get knowledge about us. but none of his friends knew. (they were either to busy ramming other girls or just didn’t care). later, gojo finds out that reader is a new student. now , reader has already heard multiple stories about the infamous gojo satoru. she’s been told to stay away from him no matter what because at the end, we’ll just become like one of his ex girlfriends. but that didn’t stop us from noticing gojo back. will gojo finally find the girl who will treat him right? how will other students react when gojo announces his feelings for reader? and you can continue from here!
just a few story ideas lol
DAYUUMMM ANONNNN 😵😵 THESE IDEAS ARE AMAZINGGGG THANK U SO MUCH?!!&9 the way I was tryna think of an idea and I see this like omg 🥹🥹🥹
your ideas are amazing you should really start ur own acc and post🥹🥹🥹 your ideas are GOOODDDTTTT

what do you think alternate 1985 Marty was like?
Ok, so, I LOVE thinking about 1985A Marty!! We see him for a bit in the "Biff to the Future" comics, but I've mentioned before that I feel like they sort of dropped the ball there. There was so much they could have done with Alt '85 Marty, and they honestly didn't do much. He was just...Marty. And while I like the idea that a lot of who Marty is remains the same no matter the timeline, I have a hard time believing such an awful upbringing wouldn't impact him in some way. Some thoughts!
• I do think there would be that element of "Marty is Marty," even with growing up in '85A. At his core, Marty is kind. He's protective of his loved ones, strives to do the right thing, and puts others first. I don't think that would change.
• However, I see '85A Marty maybe having to hide those characteristics under a bit of a hardened shell. This is out of necessity and a result of being exposed to a lot of horrible things from a young age. He was so little when George died, so likely all he remembers is a world where Biff is his step-father, his mother is miserable, and violence is a daily occurrence. That good heart is still there, but Marty figures out pretty quickly that he's got to keep it under wraps a bit if he's going to survive.
• It's interesting because while our Movie!Marty is a fairly anxious little guy, I don't see '85A Marty as really having any significantly higher anxiety levels. I mean, you would think he'd be a barely functioning anxious mess, but I actually think all the pressure and stress and fear would force him into a state of "I can't waste TIME worrying." He becomes a very take-charge person. Focused on whatever situation is currently taking priority while the anxiety takes a back seat.
• As Alt Biff says in part II, Marty is absolutely a "little hothead." He tries to be careful, and he's able to tread lightly when needed, but it's just not possible in certain situations. Mainly, these are situations involving his mother's safety and well-being. If she's being threatened or hurt, he just does what's needed to help, even if it means he's going to pay for it after.
• Though Lorraine does her very best to protect and care for Marty, there are times she simply can't. And when it gets to be too much and she's lost in the sadness and alcohol, Marty steps in to be there for her. In a way, he learns how to act as a parent of sorts from a young age, guiding and taking care of his mom when she needs it. With Dave and Linda's own issues (and the fact that they're rarely around), he's often all Lorraine has.
• The moment Marty was shipped off to his first boarding school, he started acting out and doing whatever he could to get himself kicked out. He knew it was Biff's way of getting rid of him—taking away Lorraine's main source of protection—and wasted no time in sabotaging the plan. In some ways, it was hard for Marty because he really had to do some bad stuff (and it tugged solidly at his conscience) but he had no choice. He had to get back to his mother. So, every time Biff sent him somewhere new, Marty immediately got to work making himself a Nightmare Student. He gets very good at causing trouble. I think he also forms alliances with other students who become aware of his situation and help him to get kicked out as well.
• So. I have this hc that just popped into my brain where Biff actually tries to like...mold Marty into taking after him when Marty is little? Because Marty is so young and impressionable when George dies and Biff enters the picture, I can see Biff being like, "Maybe I can get the kid on my side." And it's not even that he likes or cares about Marty, he just sees someone he can turn into an heir of his twisted empire. Even have it be a slap in the face to George's memory to have his youngest son turn into a mini Biff Tannen. But Marty is stubborn, loyal, and sees right through Biff, so he resists every act Biff tries to put on to impress him. In turn, this makes Biff hate Marty even more in the long run.
• In the comics, there's a secret resistance group that keeps trying to find ways to take Biff down. George and Doc were both part of it, and I like to imagine that Marty gets involved in some way as well. He's a source of valuable information since he lives with Biff, and I think Marty also does a whole lot of sneaking around to keep up to date on what Biff is up to. He doesn't tell Lorraine about his involvement, though, because he doesn't want to put her in danger if Biff grows suspicious, but Lorraine definitely knows. She just turns the other way and silently prays nothing bad will happen.
• Marty has a tough time in terms of how the citizens of Hill Valley see him. He's disliked by a lot of people automatically because he's Biff's stepson, and they're wary of him. They don't know if he can be trusted. Others simply assume he's a spoiled brat living a cushy life with a rich family and resent him for having it so good while the rest of the town crumbles. So, he has very few friends.
I'm sure I could go on, but I'll stop there. I'd like to write a fic someday that focuses on 1985A Marty because he really does fascinate me. Thanks for the ask!

Taking a time down memory lane had become an event for many, as now they will be looking pack at the past of many lives. rotxo " yes it good to know why y/n is so close to everyone in her life"
neytiro " well come on let go it will be a good day" the kids had soon took off together with mo'at heading towards the village. They soon reached the village.
y/n " wow it so big and wonderful"
mo'at " it good to see you are amazed by our home" the group had soon walked closer to home tree and under it, as the rest of the clan soon looked among the returning group.
navi girl " y/n is here"
navi boy " y/n"
navi girl 2 " y/n has come by"
navi boy 2 " y/n" the kids had ran over to say hello to you as they are all happy to see you.
???? " what going on here" all the children had stopped when they saw euythan standing there, as she looked at the kids and soon at you.
eyuthan " what is a dreamwalker child doing here"
slywannie " well she our friend dad"
neytiro " yes she attends grace school with us so we brought her father, she knows the language and some of culture as well"
y/n " hello olo'eythan eyutkan"
Eyutkan " she those speak the language well and shows respect as well"
mo'at " she the necie of grace and we should let her stays, as she close to the kids "
eyutkan " well yes she can stay as it will be good and her being, grace niece is good as well"
neytiro " thank you father now come along y/n we can show you everything else" you had nodded your head as the group of kids soon ran off, as everyone was showing y/n around and telling her everything. The adults had watched they had worried at first, but soon saw you are a great addition to the clan like your aunt. They were able to see that you are good and can see the world, along with understanding pandora. During these times everyone will become close and having great relationships as well.
end of home tree visit and clan
spider " why were both grandfather so serious right away"
eyutkan " we had to make sure our people stayed safe and out of harms way"
Eyutkan " I had to me proud of my son for standing up for y/n back then"
neytiro " thank you father"
tuk " those were very wonderful memories mama"
y/n " thank you honey"
lo'ak " I kinda of want to see all the other memories that might come, but I have mixed feelings about them"
tsireya " we all shall have our own feelings on that lo'ak"
neytiro " everything will be good my son these memories are important to see"
lo'ak " yes father"
spider " so what next will come for us to see"
neteyam " well I cant wait to see what dad arrived here that will be fun to see"
Jake " well you will get some laughs from that"
kiri " well that something to look forward to"
tonowari " it great to see your childhood y/n"
y/n " thank you"
lyle " So Colonel how did you enjoy your daughter running off with her friends"
Prager "Oh yes, tell us sir"
Z dog " we would love to know"
Quaritch" Well, she is her mother-daughter and so much like her aunt, so there was no stopping her... and I'm happy for her in the past and now." Everyone seemed to be very happy about what they had seen. It was all the good memories that everyone loved to look back on. The sad memories will come as well, as they relive what had taken place all those years ago. That is what happens when you take a glimpse into the past.

00 - THE FOOL Sora is the most foolish of innocents, especially when he leaves his fate to the machinations of others. And when he does have his own agency he tends to be too reckless and headstrong. Of course his inherit knuckleheaded nature can be his best quality, pulling out an unexpected surprise that not even the most carefully calculating villain can possibly account for. And since the beginning of his quest, he's never really needed the conventional outdated wisdom of so called "Masters", he has always forged his own path.
01 - THE MAGICIAN It is no secret that Tony Stark is a creative genius. After all he was able to develop a revolutionary perpetual energy reactor the size of a human hand in a cave with but a bunch of scraps. Is it any surprise he was even able to casually discover time travel whilst in his pajamas? And don't even get me started on all the razzle dazzle he tends to put on his wonderful toys. Guess the line between science and magic truly is a razor thin one....
02 - THE HIGH PRIESTESS The knowledge of what the future holds is something reserved for God, but alas such knowledge has been dropped right onto Tsukino Usagi’s lap. Her marriage to Mamoru, the existence of her future daughter Chibiusa, the fated ascension to Neo Queen Serenity and the rise of Silver Millennium. All just dumped before a high school student who is already having trouble just trying to graduate. It is a lot to unpack and Usagi must now prepare herself to take on the inevitable burdens before her. To trust her instincts and learn from her past mistakes. She has a lot to learn ahead of her and not as much time as she thinks she has to do it….
03 - THE EMPRESS For what else is the Princess of Friendship but a surrogate mother? What else are the people of her kingdom but her adopted children? They are not subjects to be ruled, they are her family. This is why Twilight Sparkle ascended to the heights of an alicorn, to uphold the responsibility of being a parent.
04 - THE EMPEROR There is no question his allies and friends look to him as a "leader", though that is more because of him being the biggest fish among them and their resulting dependance on his power. And as a father figure? Well, it is quite telling that his most defining act as a father to his son Gohan is a last ditch effort to fix the mess he created himself. But hey, better to be the father that sacrifices himself to save their child than the one that leaves them to die in the lion's den....
05 - THE HIEROPHANT As Bruce Wayne, his political influence upon the world is limited to the amount of charity money he can dish out, still having to abide by the system that puts him in the one percent. People just don't take him seriously enough to listen. But as the Batman, he can move droves of people with action. His battle against crime garnering the respect of even the police, those that faced his judgement have no choice but to heed his words. The cape and cowl is unbound by the petty status quo of society, he has no strings to hold him back. Everyone listens to the bat.
06 - THE LOVERS The Freedom Fighters don't just have one heart, they have two. Sally Acorn, the one to think up the plan of action. Sonic the Hedgehog, the one to take action. Two halves of the same singular ray of hope to guide the rag tag group of resistance to victory. Though they do not think alike (and can sometimes get on each other's nerves) they are still harmonized, able to work together at the most dire of straights. With only one of them, the Freedom Fighters are compromised, without both they are lost....
07 - THE CHARIOT The four Ninja Turtles were taught ninjitsu purely to survive in a world that would not accept them, told to stay in the shadows where it is safe. But perhaps because of their excess of superhero comic books or just their mutant ability to feel empathy, they cannot help but jump into action when someone is in trouble. They are always tapping into that most primordial of heroic traits, the will to act.
08 - STRENGTH It takes more than just "strength" alone to tame an eldritch horror like the Bird of Hermes. Whatever the bird sees in this one Integra Hellsing it has formed a bond that cannot be truly explained.....perhaps it is not as simple as a monster recognizing her as a strong human being? Perhaps....he sees her as a similar breed of monster?
09 - THE HERMIT There are those that work alone and then there's the self proclaimed "Terror that Flaps in the Night". So intent on doing things his way, so hellbent on getting all the glory, so desperate to prove himself to the world that the very idea of getting help from others ruffles his feathers. Of course he is not above having a sidekick but that is more someone doing things his way and not stealing his spotlight...
10 - THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE Many are at the mercy of fate, but none are quite as vulnerable to it as Matoi Ryuko. Her luck flip flops between good and bad so often that it's hard to tell if fate favors her or is out to get her. Sometimes it feels like she loses more than she wins. Not helping matters is how she is at the forefront of destiny, one of the few among the many that are the most important players for what destiny has in store. Lucky her....
11 - JUSTICE Diana of Themyscira doesn't just embody truth, she is the Spirit of Truth. Thus is her mission, to bring truth to the world of man, to be a guiding light towards peace and prosperity......a task that becomes increasingly difficult and nigh impossible with each passing year. Luckily, no task is too daunting for an Amazon, and no matter how long it takes she will bring man to a better place than it is right now...
12 - THE HANGED MAN Kurosaki Ichigo is not the hero he should be, no, he is more of a plot device. A pawn used by both ally and enemy, not allowed to have any real agency of his own. A slave of fate caught in the same loop of trying to be a hero, fail miserably, go through "training" to receive new strength, fail again, deus ex machina just giving him the win. It's like whatever god is willing the stars of his universe is an incompetent who has no real concept of how the hero's journey is suppose to go. And what other choice does he have but to surrender to the cycle? His constant self sacrificing is what keeps the world spinning. And of nothing else at least he gets to keep becoming a better Ichigo than he was before right? Right?
13 - DEATH Optimus Prime is well acquainted with the concept of change, is it after all hard wired into his very race's biology. But more than that, his years in perpetual war have shown him plenty endings and new beginnings, perhaps more of the former than the latter. And so long as he lives he will always be in the very company of death itself, looming over him, his allies and his enemies. Such is the nature of war.
14 - TEMPERANCE How long has Kiryuin Satsuki waited until she could finally be free of her vile mother? How much longer would she have waited to finally avenge her father? She waited years of her life for one moment to finally drive her blade through that vile woman, she didn't care if she succeeded or failed she has waiting for that moment long enough. And it seems that though her attempt did fail, that evil woman met her just deserts regardless, in the end fate still saw fit to reward Satsuki's patience.
15 - THE DEVIL Thanos is a very sick man. He is driven by his obsessions and desires, trying to hand wave it as "inevitability" or "higher purpose" when really it is but his own selfishness running rampant. And in his delusion he insists that the greater universe abides by his desire, worse even share in it. No matter how much he tries to change or has seemingly learned his lesson, he'll relapse in no time at all, going right back to his genocidal addiction. He truly is a lost cause....
16 - THE TOWER Uchiha Sasuke acts like he's the only one suffering, that his pain is more important than everyone else's. As such he pays no heed to that which he ruins or those that he hurts. Everything he touches, he destroys. Enemies, allies, friends, it matters not so long as he can get what he wants....which is constantly switching out. One minute he wants to get revenge on his brother, the next he wants to avenge him, and then he wants to be the one Hokage to "break the cycle of war". Whatever, he's always spin doctoring the horrible things he does to have some "deeper meaning" like he were a far right politician rewriting the bible. One has to wonder if he truly wants to use the darkness to bring about "positive change", if you ask me, he merely loves causing misery.
17 - THE STAR Sometimes it's easy to lose hope, just ask Peter Parker. Too many times it feels like no matter how hard he tries, even with spider powers his best is just not good enough. Most seem to believe so, most see him more as a menace doing more harm than good, especially Jameson. It's easy to forget what one is fighting for.....but then in his most dire moments, he can hear Uncle Ben's voice in his head telling him to not give up. Telling him about the few that do look upon the friendly neighborhood Spider Man as a symbol of hope, a star to look towards even when all other lights dim. And like that his strength returns to him, like that he gets back up and keeps fighting.
18 - THE MOON Ryoko Hakubi is both beauty and beast in one being. Not only does her power inspire fear, so too does her temperament whenever her pin is pulled. And even aside from that, she is one mystery after another, never will you truly understand how her mind or heart works. And not helping matters is her fluctuating moral compass that is comparable to mood swings. You'd have better luck figuring out women that you'd have trying to figure her out.
19 - THE SUN It's hard not to see that giant burning ball of gas as but a blight, a bleak reminder of the inevitable. But for the Last Son of Krypton, it is the source of his power. His true power, the power known as the best in humanity. That big Red S that shines like that very star inspires all to be the best they can be, igniting hearts with the strength to stand tall and proud even if they are not the strongest. Even if not everyone can be like Superman, anyone can be that which lights the darkness, anyone can be a hero.
20 - JUDGEMENT To become a Power Ranger is to be reborn into something beyond a mere human. To be infused with power for the sole purpose of answering the call to arms. Only a select few ever get to wear this mantle, and those that do must take up the fight against pure evil to their dying breath if necessary. As such the quality to become a Ranger is the resolve to always stand, to always get back up and never stop fighting. To be a Ranger is to be the one that has the resolve to fight the most important battle.
21 - THE WORLD So few can truly say they beat the Devil and got their soul back, but Albert Simmons is one such person. Perhaps it did not bring him the closure he was hoping for but it did bring him closure none the less. When he remembered the truth of his relationship with Wanda, remembered why exactly he was never allowed to have her back, he was finally able to let go and move on...

The high school kids in Unordinary have like, such a f**ked up life.
Like, we have Seraphina who was raised to be a perfectionist. She never got to make choices of her own and had to follow the norm imposed by the society while she never felt happy. Have an abusive and controlling mother who doesn't give a sh*t about her, might have beaten her up her entire life and was never given a break. She doesn't have any privacy and she was controlled like a doll by her parents. And her sister was pushed way past her limits and abused to the point that she had to run away. Which resulted in Seraphina having to endure everything alone. Everybody would judge her no matter what and she had to keep up an image of being the strongest and the top student. Everybody looks upto her, but at the same time us jealous of her and talks behind her back. She didn't even have a genuine friend, maybe because everyone was too scared or intimidated by her or she doesn't think she wants friends. The expectations placed on her was such a burden. There wasn't a moment she could relax. Let's not talk about the torture she went through when she lost her powers. Truly the fall if a goddess.
It's quite refreshing how Seraphina actually got to let go of all those nuisances in life. Like, she doesn't have to attend the classes, but she's smart enough to get enough marks. She minds her own business and couldn't care less of what others think of her. She started to live for herself and make her own decisions.
Then there's Arlo who had the rights, wrongs and hierarchy ingrained into his brain from his childhood. He was an ass during season 1. And most people hated him. But I kind of understood why he did what he did. In his eyes, John was like the one and that strayed out of it's path while all the others are walking in a perfect line. He was taught that the authorities are right, and the current system us the best for everyone. That peace will only exist like this, the low tiers being oppressed and looked down upon and the high tiers receiving all the benefits and titles. It's just like the time when someone found out the earth was round and declared to the world, but the people who had grown up learing the fact that the earth was flat since their childhood couldn't accept it. For them, the world is flat is a fact like the sun rises in the east. Most people just saw him as crazy while some others decided to burn him alive for saying such nonsense. They're wrong, just like Arlo is. I'm never going to defend him and say what he did was the right thing. But according to what he was taught, it was the right way. Later when he slowly starts to see the cracks in the society that the authorities either overlooked or created, he starts to doubt the system. Then he knows everything he had been taught and believed was wrong. He had a big character development, and there's still room for more. His aunt who he thought he knew and looked upto turned out to be different than what he thought. What he doesn't know is that she's a cold blooded murderer who doesn't hesitate to kill even the kids. And she's the one who killed Rei. Imagine the person whom you looked upto, your mentor and best friend, the one who has a special place in your heart (platonic ofc) was murdered by your own family, the person whom you trusted and idolized the most. We haven't even reached that part though. Because Arlo is now working with the authorities, thinking that he can somehow change it. He tries his best to help his friends. But turns out his aunt is a manipulative bitch and the entire bureau is rotten to the core. He nearly died and lost his powers in one of the missions to help his friends (I suppose all of those kids went through that). He gets blamed by his friends too, and he's trying. But the evidences are glaring at him and he has to make a choice and he's conflicted. I feel bad for him in a way. He was stubborn but he did change when he realized he was in the wrong. Him apologizing to John when he realized what the latter went through was a proof of that. Arlo was the just one of the successfully created product of the system.
But it's good that he was capable of understanding that he was wrong. He had to deal with a lot, but I like it that he's trying his best to keep a level head.
Then we have John, whose essence itself is trauma.
These God tiers did have a hell of a childhood. And they're still kids!

Long post
10 Minutes - a bokuaka ficlet written by me, cross posted on ao3.
It amazes Akaashi how easily a good day can be undone in ten minutes.
He had been in his element this morning; he rose before the sun, attended a few meetings online and even had breakfast before it broke noon. Sipping his cup of tea, he had scanned him small flat and decided it was about time to stop living in piles of clothes and crack on with the pending chores. Yes, he would sweep his floor (the dust bunnies certainly weren’t paying his rent) and finally put away his laundry. And later that evening, he could call Bokuto, maybe even while he cooked dinner and perhaps live in his fantasy of them being a working couple.
It was a good plan. Solid, even.
At 12PM, Akaashi had been so pleased with himself that at 21, a final year literature student, he is finally feeling like a functional adult. He was so pleased that he felt compelled to call his mom. It was an urge. On the days he bothered to check his phone, a message of sorts would be waiting for him. A sweet Just thinking of you or hope you’re well. Of course he would always reply, because despite everything, she’s his mother.
The trill of the phone had rang in Akaashi’s ears. He was smiling as he waited, eyes cast not on the mountain of clothes on his bed but out the window on the cool grey skies of the city. His mother answered, with her sweet voice. They were on the phone for sixty minutes and the first fifty of them went smoothly. “Oh, I heard that part of Tokyo is lovely this time of year.” “Yes, Mom, I am eating well, no you don’t need to send me food.” She spoke to him in earnest as any mother would and Akaashi was receptive of it all.
Then, the last ten minutes happened.
He shouldn’t have brought up Bokuto. Part of him knew not to but another, younger part of him hoped that she wouldn’t care. Because for all of his best friend’s achievements and successes, she does not like the nature of the feelings Akaashi holds for him.
Those ten minutes go as he should have known it would. She’d rant about how wrong it is, how it’s a choice he’s making, how she doesn’t understand him. He’s tried explaining it rationally, but he’s seven years into this specific conversation topic that it feels like a waste of time. So he listens to how she fails to understand him.
Ten minutes of those walls Akaashi tried to tear down being built up again by her, brick by brick with each word she utters. But maybe he’s being irrational. Perhaps he didn’t explain it well enough.
But how long must he feel like he’s being tried for something that isn’t a crime?
She told him she doesn’t understand him. He tells her he needs to get on with his house chores. She tells him “I love you, dear” and he tells her goodbye. Akaashi knows she loves him and he knows he loves her too. Yet, when she meets him with her unwillingness to listen, a disgusting unease churns in his stomach. Why is it so difficult?
Now, it’s 1PM. They just ended their call, and Akaashi knows he has chores to do. But the mountain of clothes suddenly feel too large and the floors seem too wide and he no longer has an appetite. He sits by his cluttered desk. Akaashi’s chest and head are suddenly too heavy to lift. With elbows dug into the litter of paper, he lays his face in his palms and heaves deeply.
Now, it’s 4PM. The winter bids the sun an early goodbye all the while, the last ten minutes of their phone conversation played back on a loop in Akaashi’s head. He tries to analyse his words, tries to understand where he went wrong. The only conclusion he draws is that he was wrong to try and share his joy with her. That realisation weighs his head and heart heavier.
He wonders, as the night inches closer, if he had any siblings, would they be the same? Is there anyone in his family he could feel safe being himself to? If this is how is mother is, he can’t be so sure of his other relatives. He wonders why he feels so paralysed by something that isn’t a surprise to him and why his disappointment feels as fresh as it does seven years ago. Akaashi lives alone and the apartment now feels colder and quieter.
Akaashi could wonder until night turns day why she thinks the way she does but that would be putting more effort than she ever would for him. He could write a PhD thesis about his feelings for another man and defend it in front of her, but why should he? Surely it’s enough that he feels happy.
Well, he doesn’t feel happy now and the responsible party for that isn’t Bokuto.
Akaashi glances at the digital clock partly buried in paperwork on his desk. 16:28. He then turns his head to his bed and the mountain of clothes hasn’t disappeared.
“For fuck’s sake,” he mutters under his breath. Deciding that moping wouldn’t be conducive of a productive day, he stands up. The heaviness follows, but he does what he set out to do even if it’s slower than he’d like.
Akaashi sweeps the floor, puts away his laundry and organises the mess of clothes, but stops short when he walks up to his cooker. His appetite has not reappeared. Those ten minutes drained him more than he anticipated. He had looked forward to calling Bokuto as he cooked, but now as he thinks of hearing Bokuto’s boisterous voice on the other end of the line, Akaashi cannot help but also think of those ten minutes. And he does not want to sound passive to Bokuto nor does he want to lie about how his shitty day has been.
It’s 6PM. Well, not everything works out how you wish, Akaashi resigns. He spares one more look at his cooker, bidding goodbye to his night of fantasy, before charting a direct course to his bed.
Then, his doorbell buzzes. He wonders who the hell could have the nerve to ring his door at this time of night, considers staying in bed but no, the ringing is incessant and now Akaashi is royally peeved.
He mutters all sorts of unpleasantries on the trip to the door, cursing up, down, left and right in his head.
“Hello?” Akaashi politely says into the receiver.
“Hey, hey, hey!” says a boisterous voice back.
Akaashi doesn’t waste a second to buzz in, open his apartment door, jog out of his flat and launch his head over the shared landing bannister to find Bokuto charging up the stairs, bag slung on his shoulder and a bright smile on his face. Akaashi’s heart melts at the sight.
Once back in his apartment, words spill out of Akaashi’s mouth like a fountain. How the hell? When the hell? Why--
I really needed to see you, is all,” Bokuto says. He dumps his bag on the floor flops onto Akaashi’s sofa, leaving Akaashi alone standing in his disbelief. “And I knew you didn’t have much on this Friday so thought, fuck it, let’s have a sleepover.”
“Bokuto-san, you ought to call people before inviting yourself over for a weekend. What if soemthing last minute came up?” Akaashi chides, though he doesn’t mean it.
“Nothing did, did it?” Bokuto points a finger and quirks his bushy brows, smug pride painted on his face. “Besides, it didn’t sound like you were getting out much. I told you, you should live with other people Akaashi. I know you’re an only child and all, but it’s not all that bad. You won’t go crazy from hearing your own voice all the time.”
Akaashi chuckles, taking a seat on the arm of the sofa by Bokuto’s feet. “I’m used to it.”
“Oh, man, when I first moved in to my own place, it was rough. My sisters didn’t think I could last a month but I barely lasted a week!” Bokuto launches into his anecdote about his first week in his first apartment. How he had to learn actually understand his tenancy agreement, how to use a washing machine and more importantly how to cook. Akaashi chimes in, reminding Bokuto about how it was pretty embarrassing that a grown man like him didn’t know how to meal prep.
“And yet,” Bokuto says, “you still cook for me.”
“For why? I don’t know.”
“Speaking of which.” Bokuto rises, springing over to the fridge. He opens it wide with a smile on his face which soon fades when he sees how bare the fridge is. No food, just nearly out of date broccoli, a few eggs and a half-eaten courgette. “It’s embarrassing that a grown man doesn’t know how to meal prep, huh, Akaashi?” He shoots Akaashi another smug, teasing glare and Akaashi flips him off.
“I wanted to cook today but I got swamped with other stuff,” Akaashi says easily because it’s the truth. He doesn’t say how he wanted to call Bokuto.
“No problem,” says Bokuto, “we can just make something now!”
Bokuto gathers the left over ingredients and starts work. Akaashi watches him and that unease that had been stirring in his gut eases away bit by bit. He marvels at how easy it is to love Bokuto. He doesn’t have to carefully construct his sentences. Everything is straightforward.
And Akaashi wonders again, if being around this man makes him feel this at ease, what is wrong about it? Can loving his own mother be this straightforward? Is everyone’s relationship with their parents equally as taut as it is loose. Is the road to the fact of yes, I love her with all my heart as convoluted for him as it is for everyone else? And if it is, why is it him that must walk that path? Why must he go through all the peaks and troughs to arrive at that conclusion?
Dinner is soon made and because he’s feeling bold, Akaashi gives them permission to eat on his bed. He warns Bokuto to not get used to it lest he forget the last time they did this (the oil stains still won’t come off his mattress). Bokuto fills the silent air with his voice. The flat doesn’t feel as small as it did.
Akaashi breathes out deeply. Bokuto’s attention turns away from the food and to him, golden eyes curious and silently asking.
“I’m good,” Akaashi answers. “I’m just really happy to see you.”

Extra Curricular Activities Part 1
Summary: Your students become worried about the man in the red suit that visited you at school.
Words: 1828
The class of 3-C weren’t the best students. They weren’t the worst either which is what made them so frustrating to many of the faculty. They didn’t have the drive to raise the bar and many teachers had an issue with that.
Not you though.
That’s not to say you didn’t believe in any of these kids but you also didn’t feel the need to pressure them. They are young and they have their whole lives ahead of them. Your philosophy was that the pressures of school were heavy enough without someone badgering them to not be anything less than perfect.
There are those moments in time where the school expects you to make them study but you just let them be. It was perfect for actually connecting with them and reminding them that they’re more than they’re grades.
Plenty of teachers that used to teach them would tell you that “trying to be their friend” would get you nowhere but…they were patronizing. They never approached them like people, they approached them like toddlers that needed to be reminded not to eat glue and when you’re dealing with teenage rebellion, that usually ends with teens doing the thing you told them not to do.
You can admit that even this approach is motivated. Coming off as someone they can see as their big sister rather than a nagging authority figure. Someone who can be chill but can still put their foot down if the situation called for it.
But you just…got it.
Many of them had stuff to do outside of school. That was the ACTUAL issue. Many of these kids had to take up responsibilities because their parents either can’t or won’t take care of them or their siblings. This was the case with Takara Sugimoto, an aspiring author who lives with both her mother and grandmother. However, her grandmother had a knee surgery recently and needs some help and Takara offers since her mother has to work.
Three generations helping each other stay afloat.
She doesn’t hang out much with her friends but it warms your heart how her friends understand.
Like her friend, Hajime Tsuda. His own father had gotten into a car accident and he had been visiting him often with his mother. He wants to be a baseball star when he gets older.
Then there was the rowdy Da Liu, who never failed to mention how his dad is in the Yokohama Liumang and several times you’ve warned him to keep it down because when push comes to shove, the Liumang would probably have no choice but to expel his dad.
There was also his twin sister, Chun Liu, who always did her best to stand out against her brother’s antics, less she only known as the class clown’s sister. She liked makeup. She liked regular makeup, she liked glamorous makeup and while she only told this to a few people, she also liked monster makeup. She’d shown you pictures of the Halloween makeup she’s done for her and brother and she has some serious talent.
There was also Ju-Hee Chung. Whereas the school saw a fair amount of Japanese and Chinese students, Korean students were somewhat rare around here as often many people under Geomijul protection opted to just have their kids learn within their communities. There were outliers though such as Ju-Hee who transferred in after you started teaching this class and she became quick friends with Chun because they liked the same idol. She’s also into fashion and wants to be a designer…or a model…she hasn’t figured it out yet…maybe both.
Then there was Shuichi Ono. He was one of the bigger kids. Apparently, he’s been weight training with his father because he’s taken a new interest in wrestling and now he currently wants to be a wrestler but the training makes him exhausted and you’d feel bad so you only really wake him up during these breaks whenever another teacher is coming, especially the snitches.
Sure they weren’t “perfect”. They didn’t get their grades but they were passing. And maybe it did make you a bad teacher or a bad influence but did you wanna be the person that makes them feel that their world is going to collapse on themselves if they get anything lower than an A.
Yes, this country gets competitive with stuff like this but you’ve always moved with one thought in mind. That very thought stood as one of the reasons you became a teacher. One day, the old destructive ways will die and then the young will change it for the better. They might not be on the front lines, but they will be there and it’s important for them to know that you’re proud of them.
They’re being their own people.
They will enact change
……..
……..
Their first order of business is getting you away from that guy that visits you at work. That weirdo in the dusty red suit and the rat’s nest for a hair who seems to be putting the moves on you.
It started with Da. You had gone out of the room because some of the teachers were talking about some guy just hanging around the school grounds and they were about to call the cops but then you recognized who it was and told them he was harmless, even telling them that you’ll talk to him.
Someone was supposed to watch the class but after a few rounds of rock, paper, scissors, everyone decided to just leave them be.
Da, taking the opportunity, decided to pull some of his impressions of British people. At some point, he saw you and Ichiban talking and then he saw Ichiban take hold of your hands and he made his thoughts known.
“Hey…who’s the bird nest with Ms. L/N?” He asked.
While most of the students were just actively ignoring him, the aforementioned ones all came over to the window with Shuichi towering over all of them.
Chun looked over Ichiban’s entire outfit. “I can smell the vintage on that suit from here.”
Da shot his sister a confused look at her expression before turning his attention back to the both of you.
“Is that her boyfriend? Did anyone know she had a boyfriend?” Chimed in Takara. “I didn’t think she was into…men.”
Shuichi’s brows raised in shock. “You sayin Ms. L/N likes women?”
Da waved it off. “She could be into both, y’know? My mom says she saw one of our neighbors at a hostess club and THEN at a host club. Bisexuals are everywhere. We could all be bisexuals and we wouldn’t even know it.”
Then Hajime chimed in with a confused tone. “I’m not bisexual.”
In response, Da leaned in closely to Hajime’s face and whispered, “but how do you knooooowwwwwwww?”
“Shh!!!” Chun hushed him. “I can’t focus.”
“Focus on looking?” Da asked with a scoff.
“I’m trying to practice my lip reading, I wanna know what they’re saying.”
Shuichi leaned in as if it would give him a clearer look at their expressions while Ju-Hee pulled out her phone from her large sleeves, their main purpose.
She tried using her camera and zooming in the lens but it was for nothing. The windows were murky from the half-assed job they did yesterday from cleaning it. Well, specifically Da, who’s lip imprints were still visible on another panel.
“I can’t see anything, if I zoom in too much it gets all fuzzy.” Ju-Hee complained.
Hajime stepped in to try to be the voice of reason. “Maybe it’s her friend?”
“No,” Takara shot it down. “He’s gotta be her boyfriend. Who would voluntarily come back to school?”
Everyone shot her a glance. “Teachers?” They all replied in unison.
She scoffed. “Without pay?”
“........teachers.” They were more sure.
She rolled her eyes. “Maybe he’s so smitten by her that he can’t resist showing up looking like a creeper at the place she works.”
“Yeeeeah….I’m pretty sure that’s just stalking.” Hajime reasoned as he often did whenever she started losing her head into the clouds. Then he gasped. “Is she being stalked?”
A gasp from Chun followed. “That bastard!”
“I mean…she looks like she’s smiling.” Shuichi pointed out.
“YOU FOOL!” Chun yelled. “That’s a defense mechanism. Women often smile when they’re worried that the guy might kill her. I hear it’s especially dangerous in places like the States with their guns. You don’t laugh at a guy’s joke there, BAM they shoot you, in front of EVERYONE and the cops STILL won’t throw away the key.” She let out another gasp. “That’s probably why. She’s probably suffering from PTSD.”
“But she grew up in Japan.” Shuichi replied.
“She was born in the states and moved here when she was way younger and then she went to college in the states. Something could’ve happened.”
Hajime let out an exhausted sigh. “Then would she have anything to worry about? Guns aren’t legal here and it’s hard to get them normally and even if you buy them in parts, it’s illegal to put it together.”
Then Da had a revelation. “Unless…he’s a gangster.”
Now everyone looked to him but their expressions all portrayed roughly the same sentiments. Da could be right.
“They don’t care about legality.” Takara whispered in shock. “He could have a gun on him right now.”
Ju-Hee gasped. “Maybe she doesn't know. Maybe he’s playing her.”
“He could be Yakuza. Y’know, they walk around in bright suits all the time. My uncle used to be Yakuza and when he wanted to leave, he had to cut something off.”
“Wasn’t that back when the legal system was a bit more loose?” Hajime asked. “They wear normal suits now, don’t they? So they don’t stand out?”
The energy among the group deflated. “Maybe…” They were all heard muttering quietly.
Then Takara perked up. “Or…that’s his plan.”
Everyone looked at her.
“What if he’s trying to trick her? Like dressing so ridiculous that Ms. L/N won’t even consider him being a gangster? What if he’s trying to traffic her?”
Jun-Hee spoke up. “They always do go for people they think are foreigners.”
Hajime huffed. “If they’re foreign tourists,” he tried correcting his friends.
“No, any foreigner is a good foreigner to them.” Ju-Hee replied.
Takara let out a sad sigh. “Poor Ms. L/N. Doesn’t even know she’s being played for a fool.”
“Bullshit!” Da exclaimed, pushing himself away from the window. “We can’t let this bastard get away with this! This guy’s playin’ her and we don’t know what other bullshit he could have planned for her.”
“Should we confront him now?” Chun asked, now she was becoming fully invested in her brother’s words.
“No. We have to get proof. If we go now, she’ll just tell us everything is fine.”
His eyes turned back towards Ichiban but you were seen coming back into the building.
“We’ll have to make plans to follow him.”

❝Solus❞
[adj.] ALONE.
Iris was a quiet person. Some might say it's because she's an introvert, others — like her parents — claim it is because she's always been like this. Quiet. Collected. Calm.
Those three adjectives defined Iris pretty well. She has been called quiet all her life. She remained collected over hard situations and she was always calm in moments that required a little bit more of her patience.
But there's something about quiet people, isn't there? Not only do they have the loudest minds, they can be cruel when angry.
Iris isn't someone who screams or who can get easily mad at people. But if she's being provoked for unjustified reasons, then she's not just going to sit by and watch it happen. No, her mother taught her better than that.
Mark got on her nerves today. Not just today, but he was making this an ongoing thing for a while now. Ever since they broke off their engagement, he's been an insufferable prick to her. It didn't make things easier that they work in the same university. Thankfully, both are from different departments.
Today, though, he's crossed a line. Throwing her students under the bus like that? It's unbelievable. Iris knew each one of her students, how dedicated they are and incapable of doing harm. Fabian and Meredith were two of her top students. Their grades are always above average despite the struggles they face every day.
Iris knew something was happening to Fabian after seeing his purple eye in one of her classes. He didn't talk to her about it and she didn't force him to talk either, it was his choice. Meredith only recently found out her mother had stage 4 cancer. She had requested a minute to talk to Iris after class, to explain that her recent absences were due to her mother's ongoing treatment. Both Meredith and Fabian found comfort in their friendship, despite not being enrolled in the same classes.
Now, the reason Mark had mentioned Meredith's name in the first place was because of Fabian. He often spent time in Iris' lab to review the subject or ask some questions, given that he showed interest in writing his thesis related to microbiology. Mark enjoyed knowing about his — now ex — fiancée's whereabouts, even though she spent most of her time in her lab, that is, when she wasn't teaching. During one of these evenings in which she lost track of time, Mark walked into her lab to find her and Fabian discussing extremophiles and their role in bioremediation efforts; they were at least seven feet apart from each other. Her night had gone south after that, he kept on accusing her of cheating and, in spite of the unreasonable claims and his alarming behavior, she figured it was just one of his many bad days.
Until his jealousy had gotten to the point where, besides her work, her well-being was also being jeopardized. So she put an end to it, she had to. But he clearly hadn't. “You're being ridiculous.” Iris burst inside Mark's office after her last class of the day with fury seeping from every pore in your body.
He barely looked up from his computer screen. “Are you back? I thought they were supposed to take you to the police station.”
“Why do you have to be like this? It's like you're being insufferable on purpose, to get a rise out of me. Is that it? Is that what you want? To provoke me, Mark?”
“My life doesn't revolve around you, Iris.”
Oh, that's very convenient.
“Then fucking prove it!” Iris roared, feeling her face heat up from how frustrated she was. She doesn't doubt there might be a vein pulsing in her temple about to pop. Quiet. Collected. Calm. That's what she's known for. “You've been watching my classes, accusing a student of sleeping with his professor, keeping tabs on me— what did you say again? That your life doesn't revolve around me? Your actions may prove otherwise, Mark.”
Mark glanced up at her. Silence tunes out each one of her thoughts at that moment. That look. That cold look in his fog-gray eyes that he carried whenever he was contradicted. It displayed his thirst for always being right. It had always scared her.
Iris does not lower her head, not like she used to.
“What?” Mark leaned over his desk slowly, narrowing his eyes. “I'm still convinced about Henley. You won't fool me. I know you cheated, Iris.” He scoffed, leaning back against the chair. “You just love playing the victim.”
Those are the moments that dawned on her, have I ever known you? Or have you been this kind of awful person the entire time and I was just too blind to see it? Maybe she didn't want to know the answer to that question. Maybe it is better that she didn't know.
“Right.” She said, locking eyes with him before she frowned, shaking her head. It was useless to try to hold a decent conversation with him. “Have a good day, Mark.”
And fuck you. She closed the door as she left. Her mother always told her that violence in any form is not an answer to an argument. Well, Iris agreed with that, until Mark Dawson made her want to fucking punch him in the nose. She can't believe she almost married him. “Where are those fine police officers, I'm ready to be questioned.” Iris was finishing up cleaning the mess she made on her counter while distracted when her friend's voice entered the room without so much as a greeting. She was used to it, Lindsay Taylor didn't need to verbally announce when she entered a room, her whole personality did it for her. “They're not police officers, Lind. They're FBI Agents.” Iris's lips lifted slightly in the corners in amusement. “Even better. Did you ever see them in those FBI vests on the news? God, it's tasty.” “Hey.” Iris threw a pair of her pale blue work safety gloves. “Behave yourself.” Lindsay caught the gloves because of her fast reflexes and gave her a wink, stepping towards the counter to check out the mess her friend had made. “What's this? Another anatomic bomb?” “Shut up.” Lindsey smirked, throwing back her shiny blonde strands to cross her arms over her chest. “Are you free tonight? Or are you sleeping over in the lab again?” Iris shakes her head, choosing the single response that seems more effective. “I'm going home.” She did not want to go out. All that Iris needed was to rest on her couch with a glass of wine while watching her favorite show on TV. “You okay, honey?” Iris turned off the water faucet and gazed up at Lindsay's concerned gaze. It immediately clicks in her brain. “Oh, no, I'm fine.” She's quick to brush Lindsey's worry off, knowing what it is about. “Did he ask you to come here and ask me that?” She offers Iris an eye roll, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as she moves away from the sink. “Yes, but I came because I'm your friend and not because of his possessive request. Figured something had happened.” It did. He happened. “Look,” Lindsey began, lowering her hands towards her wrists and playfully shaking her arms. Iris can't help the smile stretching over her face. “I want you to be free of these strains, alright? That includes going out with your hot coworker so you can have a couple of drinks and maybe have some fun.” Iris eyed her cautiously. “Your idea of fun is definitely different from mine.” Lindsay's grin was slippery, bold, and most definitely very suggestive. It was why most girls and guys fell at her feet after one glimpse in her direction. “Hear me out... You stay for an hour. An hour and a half at most,” she quickly added before Iris can complain. “And then I'll take you home.” Her expression softened for a moment, hands cupping Iris' cheeks fondly. Iris was always reminded of her mother when Lindsay did that. “You need to enjoy your life. You're single, healthy, and gorgeous. There is no need to refrain yourself from joy, yeah?” Her previous words from not so long ago rang through her mind. Don't let people who hurt you tear you down. He has no power over you anymore. “Okay.” Iris relented, causing Lindsay's mouth to split with the widest smile she had ever seen. Scary. “A couple of drinks and I'm off, alright? It's not my crowd.” The last thing she needed was a noisy place to spend the rest of her night. But Lindsey was right, ever since her relationship ended, Iris did buried herself in her work. Other than that, a few exchanges of letters with a certain FBI Agent have managed to bring excitement through her days, but maybe human interaction is also good, for a few hours. “You're amazing.” Iris sighed. “Yeah, yeah. I know."

The Aftermath
Threnody, Ominis and Sebastian continue to live their lives after the events of the 5th year. While a relationship begins to blossom, an attack occurs that forces all of them to re-evaluate their friendship, behavior, and choices. Will their friendships remain intact after everything occurs? How do they each deal with the aftermath of tragic events.

Chapter 1 - nsfw
Threnody meandered around Hogwarts, working her way to the great hall. It was the start of the 7th year and life felt normal again, mostly. Memories flashed through her head of the past two school years, moments filled with joy and terror. The trials she had faced, both figuratively and literally, during her first year at Hogwarts. While she had attended Hogwarts from year 1, her ‘special’ abilities came to her as a 5th year. Along with strengthening her magic, it boosted her confidence, and she went from being a shy quiet girl, to someone that developed friendships and interacted with many. She built deep bonds with several people through her journey to protect the wizarding world from a mad goblin, Ranrok. At the completion of 5th year and her quest, she had lost her mentor, Professor Fig, to the goblin.
The relationship with her closest allies, Sebastian and Ominis, had also suffered from the difficulty of the year. While she and Sebastian had become fast friends, their mutual love of dueling, adventure, and rule-breaking, patience was the key factor in building a relationship with Ominis. There were several times where Threnody and Ominis had clashed in the beginning of their friendship. He needed to learn to trust her, a difficult task when he was losing the trust he had in his oldest friend, Sebastian. Particularly when it seemed to him that Threnody supported Sebastian’s choices, leading him down a dangerous path. However the trust between Ominis and herself did grow, as the more they both opened up to each other, they found that their desires for Sebastian were similar, both just having different approaches.
Other friendships were forged with several students, but the bonds between Threnody, Sebastian and Ominis ran deep. Often crossing the line of friendship, they considered each other family. Both boys were starved for love and basic human companionship. They were friends before she came along, but she brought with her a physical component that they had been missing. Threnody grew up in an incredibly caring and expressive family. She was a member of a pureblood family, but blood status didn’t matter to any of them. Her mother and father both practiced magic, but there had been several muggles that had married into the family. She was surrounded by people who were affectionate, so she acted the same to all of her friends at Hogwarts. Hugging when greeting or saying farewell. Kisses on cheeks once in a while. Holding onto hands or arms when traveling. She brought touch and platonic physical love to both Sebastian and Ominis, and they thrived on it. Hugging Sebastian any time they ran into each other simply because she was happy to see him. It was a little more difficult for Ominis to accept touch, when Threnody first grabbed his arm to walk with him in the hallway, he had pulled away from her. He told her in such a harsh tone that he didn’t need someone to guide him along just because he was blind. Ominis had expected Threnody to walk away from him, as that was the normal reaction of those he spoke to in such a way. Her response surprised him and became a story that he would share in the future to new friends he made, as he found the entire thing hilarious. She told him that she was holding his arm because she wanted to hold it. That she would not stop him from walking into walls. Ominis, trying to be posh and proper, just cleared his throat, and said “very well then,” offering her back his arm. Threnody may have purposefully led him into walls or doors a few times after that conversation, just so she could say “sorry, wouldn’t want to guide you out of the way.”
The bonds they had made is why Sebastian’s desperate search to cure his beloved twin was so impactful. Ominis panicked over the frenzy of those closest to him playing with the dark arts. All the while Threnody was letting Sebastian walk a thin line, not encouraging him, but not blatantly telling him to stop. Everything came to a head in that catacomb. Thinking back on it now, she remembered the sounds more than anything else. Ominis’ panicked cry, desperation and fear in his voice. He did not want to leave her to deal with Sebastian on her own, but he had to get to Black before Solomon. As Hogwarts closed for the summer, the friendship had shattered. Each one headed home to deal with the turmoil on their own.
There was no contact between the friends during the summer, each working through their actions that lead to the destruction of their friendship. Trying to rebuild trust with her favorite boys proved difficult with the distance. She understood that Sebastian needed to face consequences for killing his Uncle - fair consequences. Threnody did not believe Sebastian deserved to wither in Azkaban for his mistakes, and while the kill was intentional, it was a moment of passion that went unchecked. Azkaban was a place of torture and pain, punishment for the worst of wizarding kind. There was no rehabilitation, no releases, no learning from past mistakes. It was a death sentence, a long and miserable one.
The return for 6th year had not been ideal. Sebastian’s twin sister, Anne, had disappeared from his life, leaving him in such a depression that even people who would not consider Sebastian a friend shared their concern over his saddened behavior. Ominis had to spend the summer with his family, the first in several years. When he returned to school, he was beaten and bruised, desperate for the friends he feared were his no longer. He did not know how to begin reaching out. Threnody was a shell of herself, she held onto the friendships she had forged with Natty and Poppy, and focused on developing better relationships with some of her casual friends like Amit and Garreth. Threnody feared that Ominis would just replace Sebastian with herself, and that the two boys would never rebuild - if she was able to make amends with the tentative Slytherin herself. She also felt so much guilt, convinced herself that Ominis must blame her for much of Sebastian’s actions. She had several opportunities to tell Sebastian to stop, or just fully pull herself away from the situation. While she did not agree with what Sebastian was doing, she still went along with him with an excuse of making sure he was safe. The trio were not sure how to find their way back to each other.
Fate, it seems, was not giving them much of a choice. Sebastian, Ominis, and Threnody found that they could not keep away from each other. All being Slytherins, seeing one another in the common room was expected. In earlier days, she would find them lounging in the common room, Sebastian near the fireplace and Ominis near the windows. Close and yet so far away. Eyes would be caught staring and suddenly looking away. They would bump into each other in the hall while unaware of their surroundings, and constantly staring at the others across a classroom. Surprising Threnody, Sebastian and Ominis were the first to connect again.. Threnody caught them one day at lunch, Ominis sitting in his usual spot, and suddenly Sebastian appeared, sitting down on the opposite side. Conversation was limited, if any occurred at all, for several weeks. Seeing them together, even when they weren’t actually interacting was still difficult to watch. Threnody had such conflicting feelings. Confusion - had Ominis forgiven Sebastian so easily? Anger - how could Ominis forgive Sebastian but not forgive her role in the catastrophe? Jealousy - How could Ominis forgive Sebastian before forgiving her? Her acts were not as terrible. Envy - how lucky they both were to have such a committed friend, that they would forgive even the most ultimate of crimes. Would anyone ever care for her as much as Ominis clearly cared for Sebastian? She wanted nothing more than to join them, but she didn't know how to go to the duo and admit that through all the sadness, confusion, and anger, she still wanted them to be a part of her life. As time passed, it became more clear that Ominis and Sebastion had indeed reconciled. They were hanging out together again, and not just in silence. Time continued to move forward and when the Christmas Holidays approached, Threnody prepared to travel home. She knew Ominis and Sebastian would be staying at the school, and she tried to find joy in knowing the boys would be acting like their old selves.
Threnody and Poppy kept in contact during the break. Being away from the situation allowed Threnody to be more honest about her feelings, and she shared those with Poppy. Threnody admitted, finally, to Poppy that she missed the boys terribly:
Dearest Poppy, You will never stop asking me how I feel about losing the Slytherins, will you? Fine. I miss them, every second of every day. I love and appreciate all of my friends, but as you have told me many times - things were different with them. I don’t know what to do about it! It seems as though they have made amends, and now I feel as though there isn’t space for me. Maybe they believe that there never should have been a trio, and now they are just correcting the mistake of our friendship. With Love, Threnody
Once the holiday had ended, Threnody tried to move on from always thinking of them. A few months had passed, and she was sitting with Poppy in the Great Hall having lunch, when Poppy suddenly stood up, and started to leave. Threnody looked at her in confusion.
“I’m not sorry, I care about you and I had to do something - just don’t be mad.” Poppy said before she scurried away. Before Threnody could respond, Sebastian and Ominis were sitting down next to her.
The three sat in silence for a moment, until Ominis, the king of sarcastic wit mumbled out, “You couldn’t have expected us to stay away forever, we know you must be bored out of your mind without us around.” He heard her hum in response and lowered his voice, “I know you and I had our reasons to be upset with each other but…” a pause, and then a whisper, “I miss you, desperately.”
Sebastian watched as a tear fell from Threnody’s face, and began his own confession. “You don’t have to forgive me, you don’t even have to like me, but you do need to come back to being friends with Ominis at the very least. I can just be around. Ominis and I realized that without the other, we would never be whole again. We know we will remain that way, parts of us broken until we are all together again.”
“Poppy showed us the letter you had written to her over the holiday. Neither of us were trying to leave you out, we were undecided as to how to approach you, discussing if the timing was right, or if you would even want to be friends with us again.” Ominis sniffled and then continued, “She told us to stop debating about it and make amends - the sooner the better.”
Sebastian took a deep breath before asking “Is that ok?”
Threnody did not answer. She moved her hands under the table, one reaching out to each of them. Her fingers trailed over their arms until she found hands and linked together with them, forming one long chain. They sat like that in silence for the remainder of lunch.
Life slowly returned to normal. They would have arguments, there was lots of crying, lots of yelling, confusion and anger. Each passing day also brought more understanding, careful conversations, hope and love. By the end of 6th year, the life they all thought lost was back, each of them putting the puzzle pieces of their souls back together. While rebuilding their connections, Threnody and Ominis found their feelings went beyond friendship. They had several moments alone together that left them both feeling awkward and nervous - but nothing major happened until the summer of their 6th year.
Threnody’s mind snapped back to the present, and she made her way to the Great Hall. It was time to meet, the 1st years having almost completed their boat ride to the castle. The large doors were open and she stepped inside, immediately looking for her two closest friends, wanting to start the year off right. She saw them at the Slytherin table, next to each other, casually chatting away. Threnody bounded over to them, bringing her leg up and over the bench between the two and forced herself into a new spot between them.
“Ooof, you could have just asked us both to move over, ya know?” Sebastian snickered with a smile on his face.
“I could have, but it's much more fun watching Ominis’ face brighten red while I wiggle my butt to spread you two out.” Threnody grinned and then turned to press a kiss to Sebatian’s cheek. His smile changed from sneaky to dreamy in a flash. Threnody then turned and repeated the kiss with Ominis, whispering a ‘hello’ into his ear as she watched his face flush. She grabbed their hands, “I’ve missed you both so much!”
“We’ve only been apart for 6 weeks,” Ominis replied.
“Yes, much too long,” Threnody agreed. She bit her lip and kept herself from making eye contact with either of them. It had not been 6 weeks since she and Ominis had visited.
The large doors snapped shut, indicating that the 1st years would soon be approaching for the sorting. Headmaster Black began his tired and unprepared speech welcoming back the students before flicking the doors open with his wand, and waited for the first years to come inside. Moments passed with no movement, so Professor Weasley whispered not so quietly to Black that he had demanded the 1st years not enter until he deliberately invited them to join.
“Oh, right, Quite, yes, ah hum, 1st years, please join us for our opening feast.” Black said, stumbling over his words.
The trio watched as the parade of students came in, some nervous, some pointing wildly at the ceiling, others searching for an older sibling in the crowd. Threnody squeezed both of the boys hands and then released Sebastian’s, hoping he didn't notice that she did not let go of Ominis’ hand.
Later - Ominis
Laying in bed, his mind half asleep, Ominis was reflecting back on the night. He was sure he looked like a fool getting ready for bed, avoiding getting his right hand wet, as Threnody’s scent still lingered. The room was quiet, so Ominis assumed everyone was in bed, either sleeping or focused on a task, meaning his roommates were unlikely to notice his roaming hand. Turning onto his side, Ominis moved his left hand, slipping past the waistband of his pants to give his cock a slight squeeze. He inhaled deeply, making sure his right hand was pressed to his nose, giving him the last notes of Threnody remaining on him. Ominis was too tired to bring himself to completion, so he slowly teased himself, pulling his foreskin down so his thumb could swipe across the top of his cock. He released a small groan, sounding light, that anyone in the room would hear as a soft sleep murmur. In a pleasant daze, Ominis continued to slowly stroke himself, enjoying his ministrations until he found himself lulled into sleep, his mind replaying the time he and Threnody spent together alone during the summer.

I swear, in all these Only Friends discourse that has been raging since the finale dropped on Saturday, I wonder if anyone actually took a second to be like: this story is being told through the eyes of 20-21 year old college students. They are the mouthpiece through which this story is being narrated. Is it possible therefore that their age, their lack of experience, their slightly sheltered lives, might play a role in how they navigate their friendships, the world at large and how they react?
Like @jojotichakorn has started several times, and I agree a 100%; this story isn’t a morality lesson. Nobody is saying casual sex bad. You are evil if you’re non-monogamous. Blah blah blah. As a graysexual polyam person who just uses the term queer cuz it’s easier than me having a 30 mins convo with a stranger about my orientation and how everything intersects for me, this show was everything. Cuz PEOPLE ARE MESSY! People are messy and judgemental and annoying. Just because they’re queer doesn’t mean they WON’T be messy. I was especially a fucking shithead at 21. Hell, I was a virgin until I turned 22 (not quite as sanctimonious as Mew, thank SPIRIT!!). Who I am now at 33 is vastly different from who I was over a decade ago. I moved out at 22. Been living on my own for that time. The person I am today is a product of all I have seen and experienced. I lost the black and white lens through which I viewed the world, in that period of time.
And you know what? I do feel that these kids (cuz they are kids to me. I haven’t sat in a university class in almost 13 years 🤷🏾♀️), will grow, and learn and evolve. Boston I think will do fantastically well in New York. He will continue to come into his own. Will figure out what kind of relationships work best for him (both in regards to his friendships and his sexual and romantic—if he wants any—relationships), and he will thrive.
Mew will eventually get that stick out of his arse and get off his high horse. He will realize that people are messy, imperfect, and make mistakes, and that he too is flawed. And that is okay. That he doesn’t need to be burdened to replicate the perfect home life he had with his mothers. That hell, just because he fancies himself better than others, doesn’t mean that he isn’t as capable of the depraved things the human mind can conjure up 🤷🏾♀️.
Ray will probably battle with his addiction all his life. Will realize that battling addiction is a life-long process. Will lean on the support he has. Will probably learn to forgive his mum, and come to terms with her frailty as a human being, and what that meant with regards her suicide. He will also probably let himself admit that as much as he loved her, and wanted her to hold him and love him, he is justifiably angry at her that she did neither of those things, and then left him. He will probably confront his dad about the role he played, and didn’t play in all of this. He might decide to break up with Sand later. And they will still be good friends. Or Sand might be that ex he hasn’t spoken to in years, yet he still thinks of and smiles when he hears I Wanna Be Yours.
Same goes for Sand, and Top and Nick as well.
And who knows, at some point Cheum might realize that she can be quite the shitty friend. That she’s been a shitty friend. She might reach out to her now former friends, and honestly sincerely apologize. Or not. That’s another thing. Some people take forever to grow. And some don’t learn a lick from their experiences. And when time has passed and they looked back at all their burned bridges and try to reconnect, they are left with hands fluttering in the wind, and everyone they love out of reach 🤷🏾♀️.
But yeah. I don’t know about y’all. Maybe you were well adjusted uni students who were always right and knew the right words to say, and didn’t fuck up every other Saturday, and whose lives were peachy. But I was a dumbass, making dumbass choices, being a sanctimonious dumbass, and being an absolute menace. And that was how I watched the show. Knowing that this is a story of these kids, told to us by THESE kids. P’Jojo was just the conduit for their story. But it is ultimately THEIRS. I just watched it for them. Not for any moral lessons (this isn’t a parable or a fable. And I say this as someone who has been fascinated by mythology since I was 7), but to be entertained by the lives of these messy kids, crash-figuring their way to adulthood, and thanking the universe that my early 20s are way behind me, cuz fucking hell. That era of my life was some shit-show!
