I need a Jake Webber and a fashion icon reader 🙏🏼
jake x fashion icon reader hcs.
tw: nothing here is accurate or representative of jake in real life. this is all fictional and for fun only! all pics from pinterest :)
red = jake pink = reader
★ he’s constantly taking you on shopping sprees to your favorite brands (his wallet is begging for mercy)
★ he’s also your personal photographer obviously
★ putting on fashion shows for him every chance you get
“how do i look, baby?” “like my perfect, beautiful stargirl”
★ never ever ever trying to change his style in any way because even though you have different fashion senses, you think he looks amazing and wouldn’t want to change him for the world
★ waking up early to drive you to photoshoots for your work bcuz he knows you're too tired to drive that early, and getting coffee on the way (he pays every time)
★ cue jake softly rubbing your thigh with his thumb in the drive-through, pulling you close to lean against his shoulder and placing a soft kiss to your temple as he waits for your orders :((
"what would you like princess?" "mmm... iced vanilla latte please"
★ you would be soooo much more outgoing and assertive than him. you're totally the "he asked for no pickles!" gf while he's the *hiding behind you out of fear of confrontation bf*
★ you two would EAT halloween up... your couples' costumes would go absolutely insane
★ some of your most iconic costumes include: jessie and buzz lightyear, justin timberlake and britney spears, mavis and johnny, and juno and paulie
★ one time you walked in new york fashion week and he was absolutely GIDDY in the front row... recording the entire thing and giggling like a little boy watching his super-star shine
*turns to the person next to him* "that's my girlfriend!" "oh... nice." "she's the prettiest girl ever! i'm so so so proud of her!"
★ you got playboy playmate of the month and you better believe jake was spamming and reposting EVERY. SINGLE. POST. bragging about you is his favorite pastime.
★ he loves listening to you explain fashion history to him, because he loves learning fun facts... (and listening to your voice)! fashion quickly became one of his hyperfixations once you two started dating <33

Bear nonnie here! how are you? how has your health been? it's been a while (forgot my tumblr password lel)
here to report that I re-read porce and the shark, iconic really. I also saw the most recent season of Fargo, which was very good, Juno temple was stellar, I reccommend (rip it tho because the coen brother's are zionists), that also send me back into my strangers thing phase #throwback, (also rip it tho because of the nasty zionist cast). I remember why Joe Keery was a crush of mine, Steve Harrington and Gator Tillman are attractive in veryyyyyy different ways.
but Arian you remain #1 in my heart
what have media have you been liking recently?
Omg hello Bear Nonnie!!! How are you? I've missed you! So great to chat with you again haha!
My health hasn't been the greatest lately, I've been having a pretty miserable lupus flare up. I've had some of the rashes as well which don't make me feel super hot honestly. I hope you've been well?! So easy to happen!
Thank you!!! I'm so glad it's holding up haha, I need to finish some more pieces for that series. I have so many ideas and characters I want to write for atm, it's tough trying to balance it all with the rest of adulting.
Juno Temple has great comedic timing, I've only seen the Fargo film but I saw a clip of her accent and I was so surprised at how good it was. I didn't know that about the Coen brothers, that's so disappointing, I know Joel Coen signed the open letter supporting Jonathan Glazer's speech at the oscars. So hopefully that means he's re-evaluated, reflected on earlier comments and taken time to educate himself more on what's happening and has been been happening since the Nakba. Ethan Coen didn't sign that letter though. I'm not really a Coen brothers stan, I've only seen a couple of projects of theirs but it's still always disappointing to know that there's other human beings with awful, zionist beliefs. Especially when they're people with platforms most of us don't have. Joe Keery's character in Fargo does seem verrrryyy different for him!
Arian is our number one man! That's not a phone in his pocket, it's my heart!
I recently finished Fallout! I really enjoyed it! I love Ella Purnell and it was so cool to see Moisés Arias in a big project like this after watching Hannah Montana as a kid. I really enjoyed the story, all the social commentary, and the characters. I really want to write some fics for Lucy, Norm, and Maximus! ALSO MAX'S ACTOR IS GIVING YOUNG DENZEL WASHINGTON?!?!?!?! Somebody PLEASE beg me to write some fallout fics so I feel like I can procrastinate with that!
Other than that I've mainly been watching films! I watched Ava DuVernay's latest film 'Origin' last week. It had your fav Jon Bernthal in it! He played a very sweet wholesome guy! I enjoyed the film, I think there were a few holes in it/the thesis but it was an ambitious experiment. I really loved Monkey Man with Dev Patel! Seeing all the hype and love he's getting is making me very happy. I saw Skins way too young... I saw Past Lives and American Fiction for the first time recently and really enjoyed them as well. My friend and I are trying to see Challengers and Abigail at the cinemas but the times aren't lining up. I've been doing a bit of an Oscar Isaac marathon as well. I've been trying to get my book reading up and more 'international' cinema! What media have you been consuming since you sent this in? I'm so stoked for The Bear S3! I think we're getting it next month sometime?
Absolutely adore you Bear Nonnie! Hope you're having the best day! I always enjoy replying to your asks. Send another one in when you get a chance and I'm always happy to message about films! ❤️❤️❤️
(Someone please tell me to write Fallout fanfic now pls)

What are some of your other favorite tv shows, apart from The Sopranos and Breaking Bad? Do you go for a specific genre or that's not a criteria you have in mind?
Hi Anon,
Thanks for the TV ask. ☺️
I don't have certain criteria, but I do avoid procedurals and some run-of-the-mill dramas mostly since I took TV writing classes. Once you know the structure, it makes it extra boring if there isn't good writing imo. I will be making an exception for Law & Order Toronto, though, because LOL.
Other shows I've really enjoyed:
Fargo, especially the seasons with Kirsten Dunst and Juno Temple
The Wire - considered the most realistic depiction of the US' war on drugs and its ravages
Hacks - finally, something well written for women of a certain age
Atlanta - has to be one of the most underrated shows of all time; basically it's black american surrealism & satire
The X-Files - this is episodic and wayyy before prestige, but the writing still stands up (the creator of Breaking Bad wrote some incredible episodes: Bad Blood, Paper Hearts)
Twin Peaks (most of it; it does go off the rails at some point) & Twin Peaks: The Return - this was named by Cahiers du Cinema as one of the most important works of the year when it came out
The Leftovers - stunning
Curb Your Enthusiasm - Larry David as a social assassin will always be iconic
Cobra Kai - this is my surprise one; it's a great example of how a reinvention can be purposeful and meaningful

because people have been asking for a while on this blog and I've yet to get round to it, here are my alternative / fan casts for harley quinn - - their looks and ages range as I think the casting of harley quinn should depend on the casting of the joker since I'm personally not a fan of creepy hollywood age gaps and oddly matched chemistry / aesthetic. so an older joker casting would require an older harley - - a younger joker, a younger harley and so forth
Alison Sudol is my favourite current fan cast for Harley Quinn. she has the accent down, the look is effortless and the iconic softness / unassuming sweetness of the original harley quinn. I would love to see her in the red and black! ❤️🔷
but there is also (in no particular order) Jessica Rothe, Kathryn Winnick, Emily Kinney, Hayley Bennet, Claire Holt, Rosamund Pike, Lily Rabe, Juno Temple, Billie Catherine Lourd, Jessica Barden, Emilia Clark, Natalie Portman, Taylor Schilling and Jodie Comer. there are probably more but I can't remember right now - - they've all got unique qualities that I'd think would make decent live action harley quinns.
I think that you asked for this semi-recently too: @olddustybooks

Jason Sudeikis reveals why he doesn’t use his birth name
Jason Sudeikis is among the many celebrities to use a name other than the moniker they were born with.
The “Ted Lasso” star, 46, has been known – and credited – as Jason for many years now in both film and television appearances.
However, during Monday’s episode of the “Today” show, the actor revealed that his birth name is Daniel Jason Sudeikis while playing a game of “True or False?” with third-hour hosts Al Roker, Sheinelle Jones and Jill Martin.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum confirmed that his “first name” is Daniel.
JASON SUDEIKIS BREAKS HIS SILENCE ON SPLIT FROM EX-FIANCÉE OLIVIA WILDE
“I was Daniel Jason,” he shared. He’s [my father] Daniel Joseph, and my mom decided to call me Jason, so that we knew which one she was yelling at.”
‘TED LASSO’ STAR JASON SUDEIKIS: 5 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE ACTOR
Sudeikis isn’t the only actor in his family, as “Cheers” star George Wendt is his uncle.
“That’s my mother’s younger brother,” he explained.
LOS ANGELES – SEPTEMBER 19: Jason Sudeikis revealed that his real first name is Daniel, but that he goes by Jason because his father has the same name. (Photo by Francis Specker/CBS via Getty Images)
Awards love seems to run in the family as well, as Sudeikis recently won two Emmys for his work on “Ted Lasso” and was nominated for two others, while Wendt, 73, was nominated for six Emmys for playing Norm Peterson on the iconic sitcom.
Martin also pressed Sudeikis for information on the upcoming third season of Apple TV+‘s “Ted Lasso,” which just finished airing its second season on Oct. 8.
‘TED LASSO’ STAR JASON SUDEIKIS ON HOW HE CREATED THE TITULAR CHARACTER: ‘WHAT DO YOU WEAR?’
The comedian remained tight-lipped about the show – as well as when it would end.
“That’s one that even Wikipedia might not know,” he said.

Furthermore, the actor said that he feels “a lot” of pressure going into season three after the overwhelmingly positive response to the show’s first two turns.

Monday, October 4 - Agrigento and Valley of Temples
There is really only one reason to visit Porto Empedocle and its sister city of Agrigento and that is the magnificent Valley of the Temples. It is one of the largest collection of Doric temples in the world, and is now an UNESCO site. The temples are arranged in a rough line from east to west down a slope. There may originally have been as many as nine - six are still identifiable. The highest on the slope was dedicated to Hera (later the Romans also used the temple for their equivalent - Juno).
Following down the slope, the next is the Temple of Concordia, as it is uncertain to which god it was dedicated. It is the best preserved Doric style temple in the world, and is the logo symbol for UNESCO. The statue of Icarus in front is a very recent modern addition, but it has become the iconic picture of the temple. The temple is so well preserved because it was used as a Christian church for centuries, and they simply built a smaller structure inside. In size, it is about a twin of the Temple of Hera.
In this area there was also a wall of rock, protecting this high valley from attack from the sea. The Romans later used this wall to create arched burial tombs. Also in this area is a more modern addition- plaques describing the lives of some of those killed my the mafia. Further down the slope there are also catacombs, and a garden built on top.
The next temple in line was dedicated to Hercules, and had only one column standing until a wealthy artist living on this property paid to reconstruct 6 additional. It is thought that this was the oldest of the temples, with construction started around 490 BCE. A lot of what archaeologists know about the temples comes from writings of Cicero, who wrote detailed descriptions.
The last temple we visited was the largest Doric temple ever built, and may never have been completed. Very little is standing, due to earthquakes, but it once measured about 370 feet long by 185 feet wide and stood 66 feet tall. Very impressive. It also had an emblature that included giant figures, several of which still exist. Just standing by the fallen capitals one gets a sense of how majestic it must have been. It was dedicated to Zeus, the big guy himself.
There are also a heritage species of goat living on the site, although their connection to the temples is non-existent, since they were originally imported from North Africa. They have the curviest horns I have ever seen.
We had an early departure from the port, and spent time trying to locate the temples from the ship. It is somewhat incongruous to see them framed by highrises behind.

Personal Radio Station
For the longest time, at least 14 years that I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a radio personality. The problem with this is that I never knew how to get into it without being an unpaid/low-paid grunt doing work I don’t want to do.
Now, with the help of an insanely updated internet, I can do just that for free/very little money per month! However, I don’t want to start up a radio station without knowing that I’ll have at least a few people who will listen.
Just to give you an idea of what the station would be playing, I will show you a comprehensive list of just the music in my personal collection. Quite a few of these are actually from compilation albums, and thus I only have a few songs (maximum) for them. Others, however, I have full/nearly-full collections of.

Ok i’m gonna go out on a limb and claim july 21st is their unofficial death date, simply because it’s the date with the most significance. (Yes, i checked every movie and tv show on his wikipedia page). It also just sounds like a sunset curve number.
But because i’m weird, i looked up July 21st on wikipedia and here’s what I found:
Birthdays
Ernest Hemingway was born on this day in 1899. I mention Hemingway bc he wrote a book called The Sun Also Rises, which has a scene at a bar in Paris where the character Jake is mad at a group of gay men. Kenny is gay, so this could’ve been an F.U. to Ernest Hemingway lol
It’s also the birthdate of Isadora Bennett, who was a publicity agent for modern dance theater. (1900)
The next one is one of the most compelling. Norman Jewison was born on this day in 1926. He was an actor, director, and producer. He got nominated for several emmys, most notably for the film of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, aka one of the most famous musicals of all time!!! He directed and produced it. But get this: HE DIRECTED, PRODUCED, AND WROTE THE MOVIE FOR JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Another very iconic musical.
Sir Jonathan Miller was born on this day in 1934. He was a theater and opera director, among many other talents, including being a freaking medical doctor who specialized in neurology. He was in a comedy revue in the 60s called Beyond the Fringe.
The birthdate of Kim Fowley in 1939. He was the manager for the band The Runaways, the band that sings “Cherry Bomb”.
(1946) Birthdate of Timothy Harris, an author, screenwriter, and producer. He wrote the screenplay for Space Jam (yes, Space Jam) with his friend Herschel Weingrod.
(1948) Famous singer Cat Stevens was born on this day.
ROBIN WILLIAMS was born July 21st 1951. Yeah this takes the cake.
(1953) The birthdate of Eric Bazilian, a singer, songwriter, musician, arranger, and producer. Wrote songs for Ronnie Spector, LeAnn Rimes, Ricky Martin, the Scorpions, Jon Bon Jovi, and Journey.
(Also 1953) FREAKING JEFF FATT aka JEFF FROM THE WIGGLES (the purple one who was always sleeping and my personal favorite) was born on this day.
(1955) the birthdate of Norman Epstein, a bassist who played with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Birthdate of a Dutch singer named Taco. Not kidding. (Also 1955)
(1957) bday of John Lovitz, a castmember on SNL from 1985-1990.
(1970) Michael Fitzpatrick of Fitz and the Tantrums
(1971) Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg’s daughter, Charlotte was born on this day. She’s a French-American actress, singer, and songwriter.
Bob Marley’s son, Damian. (I’m getting lazy so im not gonna describe anything anymore unless it’s extremely significant)
Paloma Faith, a singer.
Actress Juno Temple
These next ones are deaths
Death date of Ruth St. Denis, a dancer
David Garroway, the founding host and anchor of the Today Show.
Jerry Goldsmith, a composer who most notably wrote scores for Star Trek movies
John Baldry, a singer
Mako, an actor
John Heard, the actor who played the dad in Home Alone and Home Alone 2. He passed on this day in 2017 in Palo Alto, which is Kenny’s birthplace.
That’s all folks!
Okay JATP fandom I have a question: how much time do we think passed between when Luke ran away and the guys died?
We know Luke ran away around Christmas time and the guys were 17 when they died. We also know Luke was 17 when he ran away and I’ve been assuming he has a fall birthday (?) so he’d have to have died before then. But they’re all wearing coats when they die which makes it seem like they died in the wintertime but some of the Unsaid Emily flashbacks have spring vibes to me ? I just cannot figure out a timeline for this y’all please send help
#i spent way too long on this#jatp#julie and the himbos#julie and the phantoms#jatp theory#kenny ortega#sunset curve

HELLO TO ALL,
Foremost, I want to thank you all for the time you dedicated to reading along the memoirs of the characters and proviso of mine, here and along you will find the rules I consider imperative in order to write along, though many will find them to be a bit redundant, I think I ought to place them here.
∂ SEMI-SELECTIVE BLOG: I reserve the right to respond to whichever threads I would be keen on, I am meticulous with my choosing of writing partners because I like to write with ones that place as much effort and involvedness in their writings as me.
∂ NO GODMMODING: my characters are sovereign beings that should be allowed to their own responses rendering to their cogitates and traits, do not try and assume reactions as I won’t undertake your character’s.
∂ TRIGGERING AND MATURE THEMES: I am over twenty one, there will be some focuses not suitable for underage, it is because of it what I will not write with those who are younger than an appropriate age Themes that are not acquiescent to bylaw, please if you are underage don’t approach me with themes that revolve around NSFW, gore, abuse, etcetera, I won’t… no matter if we are friends.
∂ MULTI-SHIP & MULTI-MUSE: This is a multi-muse blog which means there is more than one active character, each and every character may have several threads, but one is independent that the other, no thread is to be involved with another, so there will be no jealousy, cheating nor involvements in between.
∂ RESPONSES: I take my time for responding threads, it is not because I am ignoring you, nor am I prancing to favorites, merely it is matter of time and which muse and thread I have more enthuse for, each and every writing partner, along with their characters, I love, this is why I chose to carry on with threads, and I will respond to each and every one of them on my own time, if you think it has been long since a last reply please message me at once, sometimes I miss replies due a faulted activity tag…but moreover, I have all saves in drafts.
THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THAT WON’T BE DONE, ACQUIESCENCE NOR ALTERABLE.
I will not carry on with a thread that consists on one liners when there is no icons nor gifs and pretend to past as para.
This is a sideblog, I can’t follow back, but you can always find me at my MAIN ACCOUNT.
There are certain FCs I won’t be writing with (The list will be at the end of this post)
I am fond of writing so I will take time to do replies, I will give quality and I expect others to make an effort in they replies, I am an amicable person that enjoys writing along others, but It is not motivating for me to have little to no effort of others when I do think of each reply.
If I have not replied to a certain thread is possible and most accurate that I am taking my time until I get inspired to be able to give as you deserve.
Generally I am always busy with school, homework, and my job, so I may appear one moment and disappear the next, however, I have everything drafted and to be replied.
Don’t force a ship on me, I rather let it roll along and see where things go.
I have quite a list of banned FCs, I wonder why both, my muses and myself, are far too picky when it comes to whom we write with and which threads we would like for each individual character.
HERE A FEW OF BANNED, if only I could remember them all…
ANY CELEBRITY SINGER, either group or solo, meaning One direction, Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Lana del Rey, Justin Bieber, such and such. ANY OF THE ACTRESSES FROM PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, Faking It, Once Upon a Time… others like DISNEY ACTRESSES, Miley Cyrus and whatnot. Scarlett J, Adelaide Kane, Anna Popplewell, Toby Regbo, Francia Raisa, Kaley Cuoco, Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice, Elizabeth Debicki , Sarah Hyland, Jessica Lowndes, Maia Mitchel, Liana Liberato, Kat Dennings… Jessalyn Wanlim, Natalie Dormer, Chloe Moretz, Dakota johnson, Juno Temple, Ellen Page, Anna Sophia Robb, Hilarie Burton, Lyndsy Fonseca, Tatiana Maslany, Sophia Bush, Anna Kendrick, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale.
NOW HERE ARE THE ONES THAT MY MUSES WOULD BE INTERESTED IN, furthermore encouraging if the writing is refreshing and brilliant, I am always keen on someone to keep up with me, if only an effort is made I am more than on board for it.
Nina dobrev, Phoebe Tonkin, Danielle Campbell, Shelley Henning, lily Collins, Teresa Palmer, Shailene Woodley,Candice Accola, Mila Kunis, Holland Roden, Zoey Deuch, Margot Robbie, Nicola Peltz, Emily Didonato, Barbara Palvin, Gigi Hadid, kate mara and Lily James.
