Plastic Bertrand - Ça Plane Pour Moi 1977

"Ça Plane Pour Moi" is a 1977 song by Belgian musician Plastic Bertrand, written by Lou Deprijck and Yvan Lacomblez. It was conceived as a comic pastiche of the punk movement. The song has been covered by many artists, though the original recording was the most successful, reaching number 8 on the UK Singles Chart in mid-1978. The title is a French idiom that is best translated as "this works for me". The song is featured in plenty of films, such as Eurotrip, 127 Hours, and The Wolf of Wall Street. The music is also used in the song "Jet Boy, Jet Girl" by Elton Motello.

"Ça Plane Pour Moi" became a hit in several European countries, peaking at number 19 in Austria, number 12 in Sweden, number 11 in Bertrand's native Belgium, number 8 in the UK, number 6 in West Germany, number 4 in Ireland, number 2 in the Netherlands, number 7 in New Zealand and number 2 in Australia. It also topped the Swiss charts for one week and the French charts for two consecutive weeks. The single peaked at number 47 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and number 58 in Canada.

비가 많이 온다 진짜. 날 물고기에 변형시키고 있다 ㅜ 네, 우리 고향에서 홍수가 없어서 불평해야 된지 않다 그리고 비가 좀 좋아한다 사실 [나가야 된지 않으면], 근데… 이제 비가 좀 너무 많다. 피곤하다… 진짜. 태양을 좀 보고 싶다… 일몰도.

what i learnt and almost forgot to mention lol

maybe you're not "just stupid" or "only able to make a mess/destroy everything". maybe that's what you learnt from others' opinion of you whenever you made any minor mistake (they were judging themselves though, not you). maybe you just don't know something and trying your best (it's okay to not be perfect and fail!), maybe you're just tired and anxious/stressed, maybe you only need rest. it's easy to dissociate from ourselves and do something "stupid" under such circumstances (we're just focused on our fear in that moment and we cannot think straight, our inner child may be taking over), let's be kinder with ourselves. and let's learn also through these experiences to forgive ourselves, to see us as imperfect and still worthy beings, and to slowly stay grounded even during such sudden and unpredictable situations: let's always think that we're allowed to make mistakes and be wrong, and let's trust our inner guidance to make us do better than we fear. let's trust ourselves now. we learnt we had to be in control (of events/others) to save others and ourselves, so let's really show ourselves we can be in control (of us, the only thing we can really control: us and how emotional response to situations) and make it. we can. and we can see our mistakes as a way to learn or something to laugh about too (not in a bad way, ofc). it may not feel so but it's okay to be vulnerable and not be perfect or feel not ready. just trust that you can handle everything anyway.
