The Child That You Just Didn't Have Time To Conceive || Galen & Vader
Plotted starter for @corruptedforce
The Executor was a cold and unforgiving ship. It was also the only home Starkiller knew. He had but the vaguest memories of Kashyyyk, where he had met Vader– where he had lost a caretaker, a father, and gained a master. He knew that Vader had killed his father in the vaguest, more theoretical of ways, for even his birth name evaded him nowadays. The trauma of that loss and the need to adapt to this new life had pushed his mind to forget about the things that would have surely made him grieve, leaving only what he needed to survive:
Vader saved him from being purged, and now his name was Starkiller.
Proxy was leading him down the halls. The few imperial officials they passed didn't quite dare look at him. After all, Starkiller didn't exist. He was Vader's secret project, nobody dared hold the boy's gaze for anything more than a furtive glance in fear that Vader would, somehow, find out they'd taken the time to actually look at him and decided that the detailed image of his face in their mind's eye meant they knew too much.
Everyone in The Executor knew what happened when someone knew too much. Starkiller had seen corpses be pulled out of his master's private chambers more times than it should take for people to take the hint: Vader was a figure veiled in mystery because he wanted to be.
Despite his young age, a mere 12 years of age, four of which had been spent under Vader's wing– or more like under his fist, Starkiller had been exposed to the dark side enough to feel a certain satisfaction at the fear people felt just by his mere presence. Not just because of the threat of Vader; after all, he was an apprentice in the making, a threat all on his own.
He behaved, though, because he'd only ever killed or injured someone when his master told him to. So he stuck to following Proxy, until they reached their destination.
"Master Vader," Starkiller greeted, getting down on one knee and vowing his head. "You wanted to see me?"
It wasn't a strange occurrence to be summoned by his master. However, it was strange to be summoned this early and without any kind of explanation– not that his master owed him one, Starkiller had learned better than to demand anything out of anyone here, and he had learned especially not to demand anything of Vader. There were consequences for everyone when it came to paying the price for stepping out of line, and he didn't want to face the same punishments that he'd watched some others receive. He was far too young to be force choked.

Back to Rosario talking about how Ezra and Ahsoka will have a deeper conection and relationship that will be important to the show, we can all agree that this is most likely a Daughter and Son of Mortis thing right? Everyone can agree on that right? Or at very least they will be parallels to Baylan and Shin

The thing about the whole Star Wars canon vs legends debate is that they're both stupid but most legends fans refuse to admit that it was also stupid cause of nostalgia goggles so every time canon does something stupid you see a bunch of people be like "see this is why legends was superior" and then they start talking about something from legends that was just as stupid if not even stupider.

@mayxthexforce is getting too close!! (meme) "how did you get this scar ?"
Tumblr media
maul doesn't flinch under galen's probing gaze.
he usually wouldn't scar. zabraks (as far as he knows he's not an anomaly) have quite the impressive skill for healing quickly and thoroughly. often leaving no evidence of injury ever occurring. this instance had been different. sidious. he wanted to stretch the healing to it's very limit once he'd discovered it. not unusual for him. he liked to bend and push and twist until just before the breaking point. only ever relenting temporarily.
Tumblr media
rotates his arm so galen can see the scar in question properly. it would be hard to notice if you weren't looking, sort of blends in with his tattoos. it's jagged and thin, but deep. he had healed far more than he thought he would when it happened. in all honesty, he thought sidious was going to cut his arm off. " what does it look like?? " if galen wanted to know he'd have to work for an answer. being able to identify causes of different wound could be helpful.

Being called a child without condescension involved was still something new. Up until now, his freshest memories of being referred to as one came from others older than him pointing out his inexperience or innocence, both which Vader targeted to destroy.
"Nothing of importance," Galen answered. Then, he flinched.
His body grew incredibly tense. One didn't need to be force sensitive to know that was the wrong answer. It wasn't the answer his master —once Vader, now Maul— wanted, and so that made it the wrong answer for Galen to give, that made it a mistake. This is where a proper punishment would have been assigned or, sometimes, directly delivered by Vader.
But nothing happened.
That was the problem. Things kept happening, mistakes kept being made and... nothing ever happened to him because of it. No isolation, no being forced to train until he collapsed, no adding new and way more difficult modules to Proxy's already quite varied and unpredictable repertoire, no attacking him or abandoning him in previously unvisited planets to fend for himself- nothing. It didn't make any sense to him. How was he supposed to know what Maul wanted and accepted from him, if he never got punished?
Keeping him waiting for something in this way had to be some kind of psychological torture on its own.
He vowed forward, hunched over and avoided his master's gaze even as he looked his way because completely ignoring him could leave him vulnerable to being struck if Maul decided to make this the first time he punished him. In that moment, the boy greatly resembled a cowering Massif– Galen had seen one of those beasts for the first time in person very recently, but he'd seen it behave the way he did now as its master reprimanded it for whatever reason.

A Premonition
There are some people who you look at, and you can just tell how their story will end. I don’t know what it is; they have everything going for them, but you just get the sense it will never be enough. But when I look at you, I just know instinctively that despite the odds against you and although life will always find a way to test you, someday you’ll have everything you want. Your ending will be a happy one.                                               — Lang Leav
...
The boy before him now almost made the future he saw of him impossible, like there was no possible way that this sweet and kind child could ever be twisted and molded into something so Dark. But—the Dark side had its many ways of changing even the wisest and purest of people, as it does nothing but corrupt and take without heeding any mind to the consequences.
It brings nothing but distrust and ruin, to both the people affected by and the one using it, but V’alor has faith, despite the dark future of the boy. He sees none of it now, none but the Light guiding him to a better future, one where Galen could live not knowing the rot and despair the Dark side gives despite the grand power it offers and tempts many with.
Once, perhaps, V’alor had entertained the thought to use it, to give in. But Master Ti had talked to him then, and she did not judge nor berate him, but merely asked if it was what he really wanted for himself, if suffering despite the power he’d gain from using the Dark side is the future he wants. And V’alor had not hesitated to answer.
“Too many Jedi have died in one day, too many Lights have been put out that it’s getting far too Dark to see,” he had said, as he stared off absently into the sky. “And I’m afraid of the Dark, Master. How could I follow and give in to something I fear?”
She had looked solemnly at him then, but—she understood him. And although she wanted to say something else that day, she didn’t. Instead, she had silently sat right next to him, soothing him just as he offered her a shoulder to lean on.

He could be the secret true Grand Inquisitor who monitors all others from the shadows while being assigned secret missions by Vader.
I want Starkiller back in Star Wars canon but not as a lowly inquisitor or anything. He's either Vader's secret apprentice trained to kill Palpatine or it just isn't Starkiller

So, lets go with part 2 of the resume of The Beniko Order in Sith resurgence
In the part before i talked about the origin of Beniko and their Curse, but now lets continue getting deeper on this star wars fanfic.
1-Darth Alora and The Clone Wars
Remembering what i said before about the Curse of the Force hating on Beniko clan, life was not easy for them, because their numbers were already small, but having the Force attempting to ruin your life all the time is basically a herculean task. The Beniko clan however managed to survive until the events of the prequel era, where we can talk about 2 sith that are referenced in the fic but were given more info outside of it.
The first one is Darth Safik, the greatgrandmother of Aliana, who was the Master and adoptive Mother of Darth Alora, who was Aliana's Grandmother. Safik and Alora lived normal lives, however Safik was killed by a Bounty Hunter, leaving Alora alone. The bounty Hunter is never specified or talked about by Lily, but knowing that she dislikes Mandalorians, i headcanon it was either Jango Fett, Cad Bane or Durge.
Mostly Jango because of personal spite
Tumblr media
After that, Alora wanders around during the Clone Wars but eventually she went after the jedi after discovering Darth Sidious was a Sith Lord. However, they dismissed her and didnt cared about her warnings. So one day she invaded the Jedi Temple and copied at least 80% of all their archives. Alora then went hiding and decided to watch the Clone wars ending from afar, without getting involved. However, she eventually got found by Palpatine, who sent Darth Vader after her. After a long fight, Alora got killed by Vader, leaving behind her apprentice Darth Mayrik, also known as Tahleea Beniko.
Who swear revenge on Vader.
Tumblr media
2-Darth Mayrik and the New Republic
After training by herself for years, Tahleea go after Vader and fights against him, almost winning until Starkiller (Yes, the events of Force Unleashed games are slightly canon in this fanfic, but lily never specified HOW MANY because in future Galen Marek becomes a senator who is on Aliana side) stopped her and made her retreat, eventually this failure making her give up on revenge and focusing on her being an ally from Rebellion while hiding her identity as a Sith Lord. Eventually, after the fall of the Empire, she joins the New Republic with an objective...
Tumblr media
DECRIMINALIZE THE SITH
Tahleea believed that the Sith Creed got a bad reputation because of lots of Rotten Apples and the Jedi influence, and also believed that erasing the Sith history and regarding it as a Darkling Cult was erasure and historical genocide, so she tried using the New Republic to change the views of People about the Sith. However, it didnt ended well as even Mon Mothma, her friend, did not liked the sith neither saw the good side on preserving their history. So Tahleea decided to leave to the Outer Rim and as her ancestors did, not care about how route the Galaxy would go.
However before Tahleea left, she had a romance with a Senator from Dantooine named Yensin Tiralli, where their forbidden love generated the main character of this fanfic...
Aliana Beniko.
3-Today's Subject: Slavery
After Aliana was born, Tahleea realized that she needed money to raise her daughter well, so she went after a job. In Outer Rim you must be wary of what kind of job you want, specially if you want to be paid well. So the job she chose?
Slave Trafficking for the Hutt Cartels.
Yes, you read it right. Tahleea Beniko was a Slave Trafficker, but not the kind of capturing and enslaving ones. No no no she was just the one who drove the ship and took them to their places. Its not that bad, right?
That was a Lily excuse about People calling her out about it. But lets continue for the worst part about it.
Her job really paid her well, even if she disliked it and hated herself for doing what she did. However one day she "Lost" a slave in Jakku. A small Child who was sold by her parents.
Tumblr media
Yes, in this fanfic that one ship we see in Rey's flashbacks is actually The Fury, the Ship used by The Beniko clan for at least 3.000 years, and is the one who left her in Jakku. How can a relic from such a far past still works? I dont know. But the fic sells it as being better than the Milenium Falcon anyways.
Tumblr media
Detail is that Rey in the fic remembers feeling comfortable inside The Fury because of Aliana being there with her. And its because when she was sold and taken to The Fury she was ugly crying until Aliana comforted her. So the fic literally goes "awww you already knew eachother as children, you were made to be together". GAL, you were trafficking her.
Also Rey is implied as being the only one Tahleea left behind, wich means there were lots of People who got trafficked and no one saved them, while she was filling her pockets with dirty money. But the excuse its heard much is this.
"She needed to take care of her daughter."
Well, she took care of her. Until the Curse decided to act...
And a Skywalker ended their peace.
Tumblr media
Thats it for now, part 3 is on its making and will focus more on the fic itself instead of its lore as its the route im going with this resumes.
Bye bye
