(Stupid) headcanon: The twins try to use Harry’s lack of knowledge on the wizarding world to their advantage, and joke about the boogie man.

Harry is twelve when Fred and George first joke about it. They say the boogie man is a real magical creature that grabs at children’s toes, and hides under their beds; really ridiculous stories. The idea makes Harry a little uncomfortable, but he doesn’t believe it. At least, not when he’s big.

Harry is fifteen and is now regressing more and more because of the heavy stress of fifth year. One night, Harry is regressing once more, and he remembers the joke that the twins made almost three years ago about that boogie man. The idea scares him badly, and there’s no way he can go to sleep alone and vulnerable.

Ron doesn’t question or dislike Harry crawling into his bed, since it was an almost daily (nightly?) occurrence. Harry’s rambling to him, frightened and in distress, about how the boogie man might grab him when he’s asleep, and that he needs Ron to protect him. Ron does his best to console and provide safety to Harry, and within fifteen minutes, they’re both asleep.

It was your 7th year, you and the twins were in the same year….and you were best friends the Weasley twins. But they just wouldn’t stop playing pranks on you. You had had some tramas growing up, so you discovered a thing called age regression and started using that to cope and you’d been scared the twins would play a prank on you while in little space…we’ll today it happen.

You’d been really stressed with all of your work for your last year at Hogwarts, you’d also began to slip into little space as you were working. The twins sneak in with confetti poppers, fireworks and a whole bunch of other nonsense. You’d started to slip worse when they decided to set them off. You got so scared and slipped all the way after you processed it you couldn’t hold your tears in any longer, and you started to cry.

“George came back to check on you because he’d heard crying and sniffling. “Baby, what…oh my gosh was that cause of us? I’m so so so sorry baby I didn’t know you were in little space….” He said going and wrapping you in a hug and you sniffled into his shoulder. He picked you up from your chair at your desk holding you in his arms whispering soft comforting words into your ears as he grabbed a stuffier and went to the bed to lay with you. All he did was apologize, because he was oh so very sorry.

“It’s okay daddy, I know it was an accident I forgive you” you say as you started fading into your own little dream world. George just cradled you in his arms until you fell asleep, making a mental note to talk to his brother about not pranking you. He doesn’t ever want this to happen again because he felt so bed and guilty for pranking you while in little space.

Day 11 of 25 days of moodboards

Made these for a school project. I wanted to make an interactive poster with pranksters from different famdoms on it.

It took me a bit to figure out the mechanical side of those pull out strips but it was pretty fun.

Of course one of the first people I thought about were Fred & George Weasley. Picking their best stunt proved to be hard so I went with their final prank that they pulled before leaving Hogwarts.

The next group was also fairly easy as they are some of the best. As for best prank, there weren't many pranks explicitly mentioned but one of their biggest accomplishments is becoming animagi so I went with that. This interactive mechanic was not too hard material wise but I had to actively make it and modify it as I went instead of designing it in my head and sketching it out first.

The Stoll brothers were the next pair in mind, as they remind me a little of the Weasley twins I ended up putting an envelope that I folded myself next to it together with a golden mango cut-out and a note.

One of their biggest or most epic pranks I could find was an incident where they had thrown a mango into the Aphrodite cabin that they spray-painted gold, along with a note saying 'for the hottest' as a reference to the start of the war of Troje.

The next one might not have been as expected, but I couldn't help but remember Techno's stunt of canonically tricking Skeppy into completing the death maze that Awesamdude had left for him and I thought that it definitely deserved a spot. So, I took screenshots of the maze entrance before and after Techno had broken the sign that had his name on it and cut out the block that had the sign on it and created a little flap. If you close it, it has the sign on it and if you open it, you can see a blank block.

It was by far the easiest to make, but no less fun.

This one has a quite humorous context, I'll admit. I really just wanted to draw Luke, so I tried to think of an excuse other than 'He's a child of Hermes'. I ended up with the reasoning that the cursed shoes he gives Percy could be counted as a quite sick, messed-up prank. I will be the first to admit how fucked that is to call it a prank (very reminiscent of 'it's just a prank, bro') so the quote on the pull out stroke is actually about me lol I literally told myself "I am so going to Tartarus for this" and decided it was the perfect quote to use.

the secret reason why I kept fred alive in ffdid is about to be revealed -

the oliver vs the twins arc was integral to the story and it wasn’t in oliver’s character to yell at a recently bereaved george.

once the haze of the anesthesia had faded, when she felt a little more like herself, tatum had eventually been able to get a few emergency texts out with the help of some of the nurses on staff letting her borrow a phone. she wasn't sure when she would get her actual phone back, but she hoped dewey would be able to pull a few strings in that case. fred had been her first message. giving him all the information he needed to find her here, asking him to be here as soon as he could, needing to see that he was okay. so he could see that she was okay. she heard the door to her room open, eyes focusing as she opened them to see fred coming into view. "-- hey. i am so sorry i didn't call you earlier, babe."

She had brushed past him into the flat, an easy gesture born of long acquaintance; in the last month or so, since she was released from St Mungo’s, the only reliable thing she has been able to fall back on is the fact that everything is the same. Nothing has changed, and if nothing has changed, she has nothing to be afraid of. If her and Fred stay like they used to be, she doesn’t have to think about her three physio appointments a week, or Oliver’s headstone, or Andromeda Tonks’ white faced grief. So she marches into the twins’ kitchen as if she still belongs there and flicks the kettle on and sets about making tea, muggle style, like always.

She resents him for the comment, for - as always - not going along with her little plan. He is calling her out, straightforward and blunt. He always does this. She glances over her shoulder, adding a hefty spoonful of sugar to her own cup, eyes flashing briefly.

“What, to see you?” she asks, fizzing with irritation, with repressed emotions that feel like they’re about to burst from her fingertips. “Am I not allowed to? Maybe I’m here to see George.” There are only two mugs, one for her, one for him. “Maybe you have better tea than I do.”

“Eh. We were all kids in a war. Guess bygones can be bygones. But remember, Slytherin boy. You hurt Harry, you’ll be having to deal with Fred in the after life-!”

Not entirely sure the story line of @ratkingpoe s Draco, so take this as a silly “my Georgie” and “their Draco” interacting. Maybe they would get along better, after they processed things. And since Draco would be a potions teacher they could bond over the craft, since the Weasley twins were prodigy’s all the same. Regardless of it all, Draco is now gonna be the victim of new product testing pranks. And maybe if he plays nice, he can be a extra set of hands for other product testing 🤭
