Headcanon that Ais never feels fully rested. He doesn't feel tired, but he doesn't feel right either. Not since joining the groupmind.

He sleeps, but his mind is never really at peace. When and if he manages to fall into a deep enough sleep, he's in a constant state of something akin to lucid dreaming.

He gets flashes of the other members of the group mind in place of any real rest. Their current actions; errant memories; whispers in long-dead languages he's leaned to understand.

The Many Languages of Love - February event!

Hi lovelies! February is often themed with romance because Valentine’s Day, and I, a sad little lonely peanut who has never had romance in my life, finds it quite annoying that the only love anyone in our culture cares about is romantic, emphasizing it to the point that it makes you feel like your life is incomplete without romance.

SO.

February is now the month of love, BUT it covers all the kinds of love - romantic, friendship, familial, and selfless/sacrificial. Because love is a beautiful thing and NOT just pigeon holed to romantic partners! I can’t write something for every day, but I will be dividing the themes into each week and will hopefully write a couple per week. Enjoy! :)

But! I just had a little idea! I'm sure I'm not the first one to think of this, but what if Vox, because of his body and how he has a literal television for a head, can't actually see Alastor?

Now, I don't think we know for sure yet how exactly Alastor's little video effects work, if it's just something that happens automatically or if he can control it, but what if, after their little falling out, Alastor makes it so that Vox can't see him anymore? I just think that'd be kind of funny. Like the opposite of taking off your glasses to spite someone

But after thinking about it for a bit, what if Alastor can't actually control it? What if this is actually how the two met? Vox just freshly arrived to hell suddenly encounters someone he can't really see. And he's like the only person who can't "see" Alastor. What if the first time Vox gets to "see" Alastor was when they finally take the photo together?

Just kind of an interesting idea

an under-discussed fandom misogyny thing is if you dislike a popular male character for any reason, even legitimate ones, you're literally the worst and just don't understand him and it says something about how you're a terrible person who can't let people enjoy things

but being a fan of any female character means you're just expected to put up with anywhere from 40-70% of the fandom violently hating her on vibes alone
