loved the updates from around the league in the latest ep, I totally missed the shenanigans with voronkov and I just went back to see the clip -- the ref call was unbelievably long lmao, almost an entire speech. plus with super confused voronkov just looking around being very baffled

Hockey is truly the stupidest sport sometimes, and I enjoy it when the players and coaches can take a moment to really revel in how unhinged it all is. And stuff like this happens all the time! Last night there was some truly insane reffing during the shootout in the Chicago-Montreal game that led to more confusing hijinks.

I appreciate your appreciation of our hard-hitting journalism. If you want "statistics" and "facts" there are many other podcasts where you can get that sort of thing. We have some of that too, but we also try to bring you the good vibes and the absolute clownery because hockey is a lot more fun when you don't take it seriously 100% of the time.

I made a sequel to my Justice League Canada (even though i technically never finished all my notes on the Justice League Canada). I made a team line-up for a Justice League International, and I made it actually International. Here's how I'd describe the membership: since the team is sponsored by the UN, the five countries on the UN Security Council (US, UK, France, China and Russia) have permanent representatives on the team. Beyond those five, I added four extra members (so we could represent every continent). So the team is as follows:
