Just thinking about how Jason HATES unkept promises, yet the only unkept promise he'd unintentionally made was that if he and Reyna would go visit Diocletian's sceptre, it would only be them visiting TOGETHER. Not seperately. The fates ruined his chance of keeping that promise.

Just thinking about how Reyna would've felt upon hearing that her once best friend, died tragically saving a god, and that she would never see him again.

Just thinking about how Jason dies with the guilt of not properly reconciling with his old friend.

Just thinking about how Reyna lives with the guilt of keeping her distance from him because of that wretched warning Venus gave her. Maybe if she had not, would they have been together? Would they have atleast remained best friends? Would they have not grown apart?

"Hm?" Reyna hummed lightly, keeping her pose. Her hand raised above her brows to block the sun out of her eyes as she sits on a blanket she laid across the sand. It was more of an impromptu trip to the beach, where she wished to bring a swimsuit or at least a change of clothes with her. She settled with sitting by the shore, taking in the waves and salty sea water air. It wasn't long until she asked Mhir to take a few photos of her while pulling her camera out of her bag. "Wow, This looks amazing! You made me look so...angelic." She laughs at her own compliment. "Ever thought about taking up photography?"

Tasha loved wine and when she heard about wine tasting for Hallo-week, she knew she had to go. Linking up with Reyna, she was excited for it, and plus it was also Halloween time which made it all the more exciting. I prayed three decades of the rosary for the first time in like six months and just... I don't know what to say but I'm glad I did it lol.

I find rosaries so hard to pray, but boy are they rewarding when I get it right. How about you?

woohoo!! that's so awesome to hear, Lofty! it takes a surprisingly large amount of effort to just sit down and pray a repetitive prayer like that, so kudos to you for muscling through it!

i'm fortunate to have grown up in a family where we pray a daily Rosary. since i still live with my parents, it's pretty easy to just continue the tradition when everyone else is doing it.

however, in the times when i've lived on my own, like in college or on vacations, it's just SO HARD. i struggle with feeling connected to God AND have ADHD, so the idea of sitting down for 15 minutes to fight against distractions and focus on someone whose presence i don't feel is difficult, to say the least. but once i do it (or at least pray one decade) it's nice to think that i've gotten a little closer to God, even if i don't feel it :')

Cael was starving. It had been days since he had anything proper to eat, besides from the occasional snack he had whenever he was visiting his mother and the water and wodka he had in between to still his hunger. This morning however, his body was wholly disagreeing with him. He felt weak in the legs, his stomach was rumbling every minute it seemed and he was crankier than normal. On a whim, he decided to visit the sunny side up diner, figuring it would be cheaper than any of the other places. At least he had taken a shower last night and a fresh set of clothes, so he didn't look completely disheveled. So he made his way inside, seating himself down close to the doors so he could leave quickly if needed, taking a desperate look over the menu which only made his hunger turn ravenous. He doubted he could even afford this at the moment, fishing out the crumpled up bills and coins from his pants pocket. @reynakendall

What do you mean by dating though?

To me, there are two types of dating that I'd do. 1) Going out for a few times to get to know the person in a one-on-one setting and see if I'm interested. 2) Going out steadily/regularly to build the relationship and see if we'd work together (and to see if this is what God wants).

My personal mindset is this:

Date 1 is just for having a good conversation. If I enjoyed the conversation (even if I'm not particularly attracted to him), I accept another date.

Date 2 is for gauging chemistry. Do I actually like him, or do I like the attention he's giving me? If I do like him (or am attracted at least), I accept another date.

Date 3 is for looking towards the future. Is this someone I can see myself getting to know on a deeper level? Does he share important beliefs with me? If the answer is yes, then it's time to discuss whether to start dating steadily & intentionally, or part ways.

In the above examples, this is not exclusive. So I can go on a date with one man one day, and another the next. However, after date 3 is exclusive territory, since then I'm not dating to see if I'm interested--I'm dating to see if we would work. I don't see this as a waste of time if I don't marry him. It's a learning experience where neither of us use each other for pleasure, and instead try to connect as fellow humans with dignity.

I used to think I'd only date a man if I already liked him and wanted to marry him, but that mentality is limiting. I'm young and still learning about life--there are so many opportunities for me to be pleasantly surprised with something I didn't expect or think I wanted, and I'll only encounter those opportunities if I'm open to them. That's why now I'm open to going on a date with any man who asks, even if I'm not initially attracted (but of course, as long as I feel safe around him). I think this mentality is not only helpful for finding my future husband, but also in other areas of life. I'm learning to really trust in God with this, and it has been going so well!

If you don't mind, OP, I'd like to hear your thoughts on what I've said :)

jason’s hair grew out after a bit and ended up covering the scar (“undercut”) he has on the side of his head from that one bullet. leo likes to surprise people by putting jason’s hair up bc its funny to see their reactions

the trio has a movie marathon every friday night. there’s blanket forts, gummy worms, matching pjs, and fairy lights involved. they borrow rachel’s cave, since cabin 1 is too depressing and the aphrodite and hephaestus cabins are way too packed (sometimes rachel hangs around for a bit :D)

picture me this. it’s winter, the lake is frozen over. they somehow find ice skates. utter chaos. leo fancies himself a figure skater, jason is on all fours because he keeps falling, and piper actually did figure skating as a kid

author's note: Let me just say that if my man was talking came back with a girl next to him and he was almost acting normal, I would rip my hair out.

The reader would be seething, clenched teeth, hot cheeks, and everything.

He disappears out of nowhere, which you probably understood wasn’t his fault. You’ve been there from the very start since he came to Camp J. He had fully booked appointments with quests, no wonder he was gone one day: but you realized that it wasn’t the same. You felt this anxiety pooling in your chest, you knew this wasn’t the normal disappearance.

When he arrives with his so called “crew” you didn’t like either Piper or Annabeth. But you knew Annabeth wasn’t someone that would do anything, since she was Percys.

But even so, the thought of Jason settling down with others for six-fucking-months, made you want to absolutely go ballistic.

But you knew deep-down that he didn’t do it on his own, it was the same situation as Percy – it was against his will, and he had lost his memories.

But does he remember you?

That thought washed away when you saw the way he was acting stand-of-ish when he saw Reyna. So, he does remember, he remembers you.

It gave you some relief. But how were you going to make up for the time he was gone?

Based on the ever-so-serious facial expression on his face, the quest was not over. Not even close. You wanted to sigh and almost act immature about it, but it would do you no good.

Maybe even the reader would do impulsive things just tog et his attention. Jason is very analytical with his feelings, to the point where he rationalizes them – so he wouldn’t react much after the first time, its almost like he shuts off his emotions just to protect himself.

But he would have to take the convo private and talk to !reader, to get a clearer understanding of the situation but also your feelings present.

He wants you to be the feeler in the relationship. While he is the cool-headed one, he can’t let himself get too caught up in his feelings – so when you express yourself hate, love, happiness he feels good. He feels safe to know that there is someone there to express and project my feelings for me. You are not just a person to him, but something essential for him to feel human, a person that isn’t just a tool or a weapon for the Gods.

He would definitely understand your point of view and make it very clear that he did not leave on purpose and that he is not in any romantic or close relationship with any girls. He got some of his memories back, but part is still left out. Even so, he would try his best to explain that his feelings are still very real but if you want to break things off, he will let you.

The last statement might cause an argument, because why would you want to leave him? No, you’re angry because he left, and you spent months without knowing if he was really safe.

One hour later, Jason is holding your hand when he introduces you to the rest of his crew. You’re happier but can’t help but feel needy in a way.

Jason would let you hold his hand and put an arm around you, but he gets distracted and ends up moving away from you just to talk a little about the next step for their quests.

In order for your relationship with him to work, you will need to agree to let him go when he wants or needs; also, be comfortable with him being around others for long periods of time.

But Jason would know of your jealousies already and would know the perfect way to make you feel better: spending time together and some wholehearted apologies.

Lets say he didnt come back, you would go on a search for him and maybe even treathen a couple of minor gods just to find him.
