I cannot believe they're still on about ep 8.12-13, we're still not done with hiatus and yet we've already been tormented (ymmv) by a 217 engine sighting, an added scene to a 'finished' episode that shows Buck with baked goods, and now (maybe. possibly) a helipad.

Disclaimer: Fanfiction is for fun times and it doesn't have to be "good" to exist and be shared!! Also just like all advice in the world YMMV (your mileage may vary) and the fact is that the best writing advice is whatever gets you writing!
STEP ONE of good characterization:
YOU ARE NOT THE CHARACTER. THE CHARACTER IS NOT YOU. STOP RELATING TO THE CHARACTER.
They do not think the way you think. They will not react the way you react. They don't have your morals, preferences, tastes, fashion sense, etc etc etc.
You are not the guy.
You must appreciate them as a separate person. Only once you have separated them from yourself in your heart can you start on the road to knowing your blorbo....
STEP TWO of good characterization:
When asking any question about the character at all, START FROM CANON.
If the exact answer is not in the canon, pick the CLOSEST scenario / fact / interaction, and work from there.
Example: Blorbo has never seen Glup Shitto held at gunpoint. But Blorbo was really angry when Glup Shitto's diary was stolen, and freaked out during another life or death situation.
Held at gunpoint is like 10x more fucked up than the diary so make Blorbo's like 10x angrier and similarly freaked out.
STEP THREE of good characterization:
For details that are not addressed at all in canon, use THEMES, GENRE, and CHARACTER ARCHETYPE/ROLE to create a believable rendition of the character.
Don't forget to include any quirks that significantly set them apart from similar characters when choosing these things btw.
Your BRILLIANT POWERFUL SCIENTIST may have dark polished hardwood furniture that speaks to sophistication but show her love of travel with tchotchkes from around the world.
Your ANGTSY MANPAIN MAN may choose military combat gear but wear pink socks because his daughter picked them out.
Your MANIC PIXIE DREAM GUY may love jogging with his cute dog in the park but reveals hints of a DARK PAST in his music playlist. And in the gun he keeps in his fanny pack.
Don't forget that other characters likely have their own knowledge and opinions of blorbo that you can draw from. If Glup Shitto is consistently wrong about blorbo and thinks blorbo is probably a good cook, make blorbo a bad cook. If Glup Shitto is blorbo's childhood best friend and used to play doll murder courthouse a lot, it's a good stretch to say that blorbo may have played doll murder courthouse as a child too, and this was something they did together.
STEP FOUR of good characterization:
DO A LITTLE RESEARCH!!
The character almost certainly hasn't taken the exact life path as you. If they are from a different area, look into cultural norms that may differ from yours.
No one is expecting you to be the foremost scholar on Japanese etiquette or British regional slang, but a little can go a long way.
People in places with socialized healthcare should not be worrying about medical bills, blorbos in tropical areas will not experience the seasons as much as you might, other cultures attitudes towards nudity/sex/drugs may be wildly different to yours.
IF you actually have relevant experience then feel free to use it in your fics. But don't forget that you are not the guy! Really think through how their perspective may differ even in the same situation.
STEP FIVE of good characterization:
PUT LOVE INTO IT AND HAVE FUN!!!
If you don't love Glup Shitto, don't write about them! If you're not having fun, hit the bricks!
Fanfiction is for HAVING A GOOD TIME and SHARING WITH OTHER FREAKS!!!!!!
Much love!! 💕

the concept of intentional boredom/tedium in video games is very much a "your mileage may vary" kind of thing and i go back and forth about it in different situations. where does it work? where does it feel earned/worth the mental toll? why am i gonna play a game that is trying to make me miserable?
i can understand this not being the case for everyone (ymmv, after all) but for ISaT i was so fucking fully on board with the repetitive tedium of it all. rubbing my grubby little hands together and going yesssss, yesssssss, make my immersive gameplay experience directly emulate the exact frustrations and anxieties and mind-numbing breakdowns of the player character. remind me, at every turn, the toll this would take on the person living it. make me live their inner monologue before it's ever verbalized on screen.
how strong you feel, compared to the party you're inevitably leaving behind, how weak they seem now. how annoying it is to cut down these same enemies again and again, always pointlessly getting in your way (oh, how convenient that Siffrin feels the same way so intensely that you can get an item that lets him scare them off by sheer force of will before they attack you!). since when was the King's battle--so terrifying, so impossible before--so easy? can't this go faster? you've heard this all before.
let me skip ahead, loop around, treat my character my body Siffrin as disposable, take the fast and easy way to reach the next goal when you're on the verge of an exciting breakthrough, this loop doesn't matter anyway. but ohh, this next loop might be The One, better do this one right and follow the script to perfection. make all the jokes and say all the right things to get the lovely bonding dialogue so you can carry the Best Version of Everyone through to the end. that'll give you the Good Ending, right? can't hurt to try, right? you don't really believe it but this time will fix everything, right?
how generous and wonderful to have so many shortcuts at hand! dissociating zoning out to skip repetitive dialogue, splitting your head open on a rock slipping on a banana peel in the town to loop right to the floor you need, suuuuurely all of this stuff is purely for the Player's Convenience and won't have any psychological impact on our dear protagonist such that it gets slammed back into the player's face as a stomach-dropping reminder that someone's moment-to-moment experience in this time loop still matters, still carries over, still gets riddled with scars even if they can't be seen!
i've played & watched enough games that trivialize/hand-wave game mechanics that it's pretty easy to detach myself from the minutiae of video game decision-making. "this input gets the Good Response" -> "i will continue doing this input." "this option will be more efficient" -> "might as well save some time then." but this game would not let me stop thinking about consequence.
picking Siffrin's favorite food makes them happy! :) it's also the option that makes Bonnie the happiest! yay! -> i keep picking their favorite food -> Siffrin gradually grows sick of something that once brought him joy -> oh. right. that...makes sense, huh.
okay i asked the King what i needed, mann there won't be any tears after the fight is over so i'll have to do the whole ending scene again and that takes a while and i reeeeally wanna talk to Loop, maybe i'll just lose on purpose this time -> OH. RIGHT. THIS IS MAYBE THE MOST PAINFUL WAY FOR SIFFRIN TO DIE BOTH PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY HUH. -> never gonna do that again actually!!!!! the ending isn't that long!!!!
banana peel time! we've got places to be and mysteries to solve! -> (you're a living comedy sketch.) (you wonder if you'll ever be able to smell bananas again without wanting to vomit.) -> i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry
it's always cute to see Isabeau's reactions! pick the options that make him blush :3 -> (disgusting. manipulative. it's no wonder he thinks he likes you, you made him feel that way.) -> i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry siffrin NO he liked you before any of this happened please don't think of yourself that way--
maybe it won't hit the same for every player (what game can expect to do that?) but holy fuck it hit for me. the way the mechanics let you fall into familiar gamey rhythms but constantly, constantly remind you that this is Siffrin's life you're playing with. the way you end up perfectly in step in the worst ways. muscle memory and habit built up so well that you both stumble when something changes. devastating and delicious

Note
Not plural culture is - well, kind of; may be helpful for plurals generally:
In the server I'm on, Rings&Alexandrites, the catchphrase 'DOTS' was sort of coined. Standing for 'Depends On The System', it's now been used as an answer for a variety of questions or doubts on 'am I plural/still a system if this happens', or questioning certain ways in which one's system functions - whether it be 'is it possible for there to be no comms', or 'what if I have 500 headmates', or 'doesn't everyone get along with other members', a consistent - and generally relieving answer, even - is just 'DOTS'.
Given the differences between DID and OSSD clinically, the cultural variance of concepts of multiplicity, and the sheer number of ways in which one could have a plural experience or be plural, I have found DOTS to now be both amongst my frequently-used phrases, as well as generally useful for new systems/plurals/questioning ppl when it comes to doubt. One thing I also tend to now state for self-doubt/impostor syndrome is 'if it's happening to you, then it's clearly possible'.
Either way, I wanted to bring up DOTS on this blog bc I've followed for a while and seen many hesitant, fearful or even deprecating asks generally centered around not feeling 'plural enough', and feel as though it may prove similarly useful to add to ppl's vocabulary, as it has for mei. It is an easy disclaimer for a great many things, and from what I've seen the singlet version is essentially 'ymmv' lol ('your mileage may vary'). So I think DOTS is generally great on reiterating or reminding ppl of the 'everyone's experience is unique' and 'a community is not a monolith' sides of things.
I like that!

I was today years old when I learned that you could use the antique camera aspiration reward (as well as the instant cameras included in epi's camera mod) to take your own family photos / portraits (or rather... tricking the game into THINKING you took them). I've always loved how Sims 4 has a variety of ways that you can take photographs of your sims / families, especially in Legacies and I'm excited that we have a way to do it in the Sims 2 now. This YouTube video was a big help.
To sum up the video / offer a jist of how to do this: the first step would be posing sims however you want them (you can use poseboxes, omsps, ect) or carrying out an action you'd like to have the photo of. I didn't use anything fancy here, merely had the sim pictured here cuddle her baby. Once you've got your desired photo, you take a screen shot. I use RPC / ReShade, so I can use PrintScreen and my pictures are saved to my Sims 2 Screenshot folder in high quality. Don't use the in-game screen shot tool, as the pictures will be blurry / low quality.
Once you have your photo, you'll need to crop it- either vertically as a portrait picture, or horizontally for a landscape picture. Size doesn't matter, but keep in mind that photos from the camera can either be hung on the wall or placed on a surface in a stand-up frame- so be mindful of the dimensions. Once you've cropped your desired photo, you can edit it further how you please in Photoshop, Gimp, or whatever program you like to use. This picture I edited in Photoshop with a PSD (though it also includes color/lighting from the ReShade I'm using). Jazz it up however you want.
Once you have your photo exactly how you want it, save the photo (place doesn't matter) as Snapshot.bmp. It must be named Snapshot and it must be a bmp file. Photoshop includes some various 'options' when saving a BMP file- I used the default options without any issue. Once you've got your file, direct a/your sim to take a photo with the antique camera (either get it as an aspiration reward or use a mod to be able to buy it from the catalogue at cost/for free- your choice). Epi's cameras can be used as well, but I've not used those yet- you'd want one of the cameras that allows instant pictures. When your sim begins to snap the photo, you're going to get the screen shot box, and it'll tell you to press C to take the picture. At this point, pause your game. Then press C.
After you've pressed C, with your game still paused- you're going to go into your storytelling folder (this is located generally Documents > EA Games > Sims 2 > Storytelling; YMMV (your mileage may vary) depending on your install path, but you're wanting the storytelling folder located in the same folder as your Downloads where you keep your CC). When you go into your Storytelling folder, you will see a myriad of picture files but at the very front should be two files that look like whatever you snapped a shot of in game: one file is named Screenshot.bmp and the other is named Snapshot.bmp. With your game still paused, copy or cut your edited photo and paste it into your Storytelling folder, overwriting the current Snapshot.bmp file. After that, you're done! Unpause your game and let your sim go through the action- they'll take the 'photograph' using the camera and et voilà- out will pop the photo that you took and edited! From there, it can be pulled off of the camera and either hung on the wall or placed on a surface.
My beautiful test subjects pictured in their photographs are Jane and Joe Newbie with their new born twins: Mark and Suzie.

Sorry if this is too personal, but do you ever have any issues travelling with your HRT? I might be needing to do an international trip soon
i don’t, but i’ve only ever flown out to/from the US/UK in my time on HRT so, ymmv. also, i take pills, so if you take injectables you might wanna double check guidelines and reddit threads.
i’ve never had a problem just putting my HRT in my bag in its box. a couple times i was worried and put it in my suitcase with a copy of the prescription but i doubt it made a difference. once i got through customs with a sheet of E pills in my wallet and whilst there’s an element of white privilege to that it’s not like i’m not being patted down after the PRO VISION L3‼️‼️‼️ but you know, again, your mileage may vary. it’s a common medication for cis people remember!

Fandom Glossary Part 2
Part 1 here. Most of these terms can be found on Fanlore
Squick: a type of fanwork that makes you viscerally uncomfortable. This is not a judgement but a preference, ex: "ABO squicks me so I don't read it."
OOC: "Out of character", when a fanwork has a character think, act, behave in a way that is in contrast to how they are in canon. AKA, "He would not fucking say that". Ex, a fic that has Sodapop acts very low-energy and mean.
OC: "Original Character" a character that a fan has made up that does not appear in the source material. ex, "This is my OC Lou who is a mean old greaser!"
Fluff: A fanwork that is pleasant and feel-good. Generally the opposite of Angst.
Angst: A fanwork that is generally darker in tone or content. Characters will probably suffer in some way. Generally the opposite of Fluff.
Darkfic: Similar to angst, darkfic fanwork that deals with graphic or disturbing material. It is usually more intense than angst. This type of fic will not be allowed during Outsiders Week.
Retcon: Short for "retroactive continuity", later canon material that replaces previously established canon. Ex, That Was Then This Is Now retcons that there are lots of hippies in Tulsa, when they were not mentioned in The Outsiders
DL;DR: short for "Don't Like, Don't Read". The idea that if you see fanwork you don't think you'll like, you shouldn't engage with it.
YMMV: short for "Your mileage may vary". Similar to squick and dl;dr, the idea that everyone has different tastes when it comes to fanwork, so what someone else loves you just may not like.
Trigger Warning: also called a "content warning", it is a warning a creator puts on a work to let readers know the work involves content that may be upsetting or disturbing to them. It is generally considered polite to add trigger warnings. Ex, "TW: drug use"
Dead Dove: Do Not Eat: also referred to as "Dead Dove" or "DD:DNE" a fanfiction that involves especially dark or "problematic" topics, such as abuse, incest, rape, etc. Can be a type of darkfic. A Dead Dove fic may not condemn or subvert the tropes it uses. "Dead Dove" is also a type of trigger warning used to mean "this fic is clearly labeled and warned for, so you know what you're getting into if you choose to open it." This type of fic will not be allowed during Outsiders Week.

I know it's called Your Mileage May Vary for a reason, but there have been numerous times with TV Tropes' YMMV pages where they'll list a "popular" interpretation of a character or plot point that I've never seen anywhere else.

Two naming questions here as someone taking inspiration from your expanded version of the traditional naming system for a few fanclans in other locations:
When it came to making additions to the existing ailuronomy prefix list, how did you go about picking what to exclude or include? I’m curious what your process was in regards to things like animals or plants named directly after human concepts or just after the latin name of their genus, words with 5+ syllables, just prefixes that technically work but sound clunky or unnatural when rolling off the tongue in general.
For prefixes that could potentially encompass a lot of colours (Prefixes like Moth-, Moss-, or Beetle- where there are a bunch of different species with wildly varying colours, or tree-based prefixes where you could be referencing the colour of several things like the bark, the flowers, or the fruit), how do you go about deciding which colour to categorize it under? Is it just a matter of what’s the most recognizable?
While Grey's parameters make for good guidelines, a lot of it can boil down to Your Mileage May Vary.
Compound words are especially this. Definitely don't include things that are compound words that end with a suffix in your lineup, such as Coltsfoot or Strawberry. Some will argue against having Mistletoe- being a prefix, but Mistle- and -toe being a prefix and suffix respectively is dumb, because you're essentially saying "piss-twig", and -toe is a dumb suffix the point of suffixes is flexibility and I am getting off-topic reining this thought back in. You could likely get away with Goldenrodpaw and Rainbowpaw, but I doubt you could get away with Sparrowhawkpaw or Horseradishpaw. Something about the latter two hit different.
For prefixes with over five syllables, I'd advise against it. Four syllables is probably the most you could get away with. Dandelion-, Salamander-, Amanita-, you're running out of space there. Salamanderflower and Amanitawhisker are gonna be a pain to write over and over and over again.
Some prefixes that are human-ish in feel are really hard to disassociate, such as Phoebe- (a bird), so again, YMMV.
For the wide berth of colors, just go with whatever is the most common example in the territory. Most moths are brown or gray or white, so that'll do. Beetles are usually black or brown too, so just focus on like, the really common varieties. If the bug is somewhat uncommon, disregard it for the most part. Maybe have one cat pop up every few generations with the color befitting the moth.
For tree prefixes, it usually depends on its most defining feature(s). Maples and rowans blaze red in the autumn, so they get thrown in the ginger category. Laburnum, wisteria, and cherry have beautiful flowers. Plums, junipers, and oaks have funny fruits and nuts. Larches and pines have their unique needles. And alders and birches have distinctive barks. If all else fails, check their flower or bark, and run with brown.

Hey robxstar, Ive gotten back into TTG and I have been dying to watch one of the shows. However I don’t know which ones to watch and where. Do you have any recommendations? :)
Most DC shows are available for streaming on HBOMAX (or is it just called Max now?), along with the usual single purchase streaming avenues like YouTube, and Amazon, and good news, the OG Teen Titans did get a full series blu-ray release just a year or so ago!
Which was good because my DVD copies were starting to literally fragment and stop playing properly. (They were much loved.)
I have not actually watched all of the live-action Titans so I don't have an opinion about it one way or another. Teen Titans Go! is a very Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV) cartoon, I liked a good chunk of the first season that I watched but some episodes were also misses, it's surrealist and VERY bizarre at times, so just be aware you probably won't like everything about it. (I did greatly enjoy the crossover Teen Titans vs. Teen Titans Go! movie though.)
Def do the OG Teen Titans show, the one that aired from 2003 to 2005.
There is also the DCAMU (DC Animated Movie Universe), which were animated direct-to-video movies that share the shame New-52 inspired continuity, which have a lovely undercurrent/subplot of Dick/Kory that I do recommend. Watch Batman vs. Robin, Batman: Bad Blood, and Justice League vs. Teen Titans for the Dick/Kory hints and buildup and then Teen Titans: Judas Contract for the payoff, we were spoiled with that one.
Hope that's enough to get you started!

Is adding fics to collections (on AO3) useful for events? I was checking one the other day, and they said it would be helpful for them, to gain attention and so
I never added my fics to collections before bc I liked to keep them more as my "silly 'private' stories", and bc I don't usually complete challenges on time (I know that's not a requisite, it's just a personal thing), but if it would help events I would like to do it
(Answering this as someone who has never created a collection on AO3 nor run any kind of writing event)
Three reasons off the top of my head why I think adding your fic to a collection could be useful:
Introducing new readers/writers to an event. This one does depend on other factors, but if you're writing for the (made-up) event of Sci-ly (aka a Sci-Fi themed July event), and one of your readers has never heard of the event before, adding your work to the collection puts a pretty obvious banner in the tags section on AO3 promoting that event. Of course, you could also do this by mentioning it in an author's note, but adding the AO3 collection provides an easy link to click on.
Promoting other authors' work by linking all works under a shared banner. Similarly, maybe a reader is really enjoying the works you've published for the (also made up) event of Maystery (aka a mystery themed May event) and they really like your response to the "everybody did it" prompt. Then they can click on the collection and see how other people answered the prompt. Again, YMMV on this one, because these events are typically multi-fandom, so maybe you're the only one in your fandom participating, but it could be useful!
Gauging interest in an event/prompt. Searching tags on tumblr can be a nightmare at times. While it's perfectly fine that not everyone who writes for an event publish on AO3 (there are events where mods clearly state they aren't checking, so just writing something in the privacy of your own notebook counts!), by adding to a collection on AO3, the mods can get a direct, quantitative (if underestimated) number of how much interest there was in their event and how many people participated. (Maybe year one of March's Myths (also also made up...) got 30 fics, and the next year got 200, so the mods know they're doing something right! But maybe, of those 200, only 1 fic bothered to use the "left brain vs right brain myth" prompt, so they know there wasn't a lot of interest in that.) Again, I've never run an event, so I can't say why they need these numbers other than for the above examples (or for the same reason you want comments on your fic!) but it's good to have the data sometimes!
Of course, it's ultimately up to you! This isn't me trying to pressure you into sharing your works in a collection. As always, check with the event rules to see if there are any guidelines or restrictions for their collections. And if any mods for events see this, please feel free to chime in with your input!
(YMMV: Your mileage may vary)

you may find this funny i guess but for the longest time whenever i read your informative posts and you put YMWV at the beginning i did not know it stood for "your mileage will vary." so i thought it's like something spiritual you said before officially starting a post kinda like how japanese people say ittadakimasu before a meal lol.
You know that is funny :D I think we should turn it into a thing. (YMMV) okay now the post can begin, lol.

Where do you get your devices?
In general? Or a specific device? Note, I'm USA so ymmv a ton with that since I have no idea where you are & what is available to you. In GENERAL... usually Amazon, unless there is a primary provider I can order from (such as the official website for Giga Pets). Or, in-person stores, which I much prefer due to lack of shipping, of course. I used to use JYW, but then they started scalping prices super bad during the first Digimon Color release, & were blocking anyone commenting on it during that week of release on their social media. So, a lot of respect was lost for them among us collectors, & their prices have only gotten worse since their store update & that social media thing, sooo. I don't recommend them for prices. Now, the shipping was very good in the past when I did use them- & a very large amount of my collection IS from them from a few years ago. However. Now Zenin TGC is much better for that, & contacting them directly about a issue has been nothing but a good experience since they opened. Love them & orders come with cute goodies. Packs very well, etc, etc 5 stars. Note their store is in Singapore, so that may work out very well for you, but they have zero issues shipping to the USA. Otherwise sometimes Ebay for older, rare releases, but you WILL overpay. A lot. And may get scammed. It's a last resort thing for me. There's better options out there, but I personally have had a very bad experience with proxies so I won't personally recommend unless you can find someone first-hand in the collector community who can directly vouch a seller or particular proxy website. Again, your mileage will vary. I am just not a great source of info for proxies since I have not been in the main collector group in a long time now to hear anything new & good in the last 4 years (no particular reason as to why, I am just a fairly reclusive person & busy for the bulk of the year with work to keep up with socializing with other Digimon/Tama people anymore, compared to when I was very free during the Vital Bracelet release). So, idk, don't know where you are & what sort of budget you have, so I suppose I'd just say Amazon USA/Japan, Zenin & stuff like Top Secret Toy's website, as those are all tested & safe to me. Amazon is probably your best bet for a beginner collector looking for Tamagotchi Original, the new Connection release or the brick 20th Digimon Pets (Digimon 'Pendulum'-anything unfortunately is a different story & will be very expensive anywhere you look now). Anything else you're gonna have to ask other people, as I don't really buy from anywhere different (anymore).

okay this is my disclaimer post for my new tag, pfh talks about england, under the readmore.
just a reminder that my askbox is open (and anon is on) for anyone who wants to ask a 'silly' (there are very few silly questions) or niche question about english culture / slang / stuff that will help with grounding a fic in realism.
remember that Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV), it's important. i don't want someone crawling into my inbox with a "well actually i live in X and you're wrong" unless of course i am giving wildly inaccurate information (eg i say that you can find scottish wildcats on the south coast of england which is factually absolute bollocks). if you are rude your ask or comment will be deleted.
when i tag something with that tag i am genuinely using my own lived experiences only (and occasionally my knowledge of something like the british wildlife post). i'll try to keep in mind regional differences but i am an english person living in wales.
if a question or comment is above my understanding or outside my own lived experiences, i will do my best to link you to resources that may help you better.

People rarely ask about these lwas but what can be said about Sobo, Bade, and Agassou? How are they related to Agaou when it comes to the department of thunder, lightning, etc.?
Hi,
Sobo, Bade, and Agassou are all considered royalty within Haitian Vodou, along with a lot of Rada spirits in general. While some spirits had significant changes when they crossed the Middle Passage with the kidnapped and enslaved Africans brought to the island of then Hispaniola, those ones really didn't change that much.
Sobo and Bade are considered brothers and military generals and they do have a lot to do with thunder and lightening. In the asson lineage, they are often considered to guard the djevo/initiatory chamber and the new initiates. Their energy is carried quite a bit in the laplas and pote drapo ceremony that happens during larger fetes and is a part of kanzo. Folks will say they don't come in possession any longer, but that's something that really only been said in the US...they are seen often in peristyles in Haiti.
Agassou is also royalty and is probably even less changed than Sobo and Bade. In Dahomey, he was the progenitor of a royal lineage in what is now Allada in Benin. Alada figures heavily in a lot of songs for Agassou and other lwa. In Benin and nearby areas all the way into the Congo, he is or was heavily associated with men's secret societies. Some of that translated through the Middle Passage to places like Cuba, but that is not how he is present in Haiti. He is embodiment of the connection to Ginen.
Sobo, Bade, and Agassou also have a significant presence in the Dahomey rite as practiced in the Souvenans area in the lakou there. They are also regarded as royalty from the Dahomey kingdom. Gran Lakou Souvenans Mistik is considered to have a direct portal between Haiti and Benin, and count their rite as descended from Dahomey.
Agaou is a little different. He is associated with storms that have thunder and lightening, as well as hurricanes, sometimes earthquakes, and other types of natural phenomenon. He is generally considered to walk much more closely with St Jean Baptiste and the Ti Jean closely associated there and Kouzen. A lot of people fear Agaou and consider him dangerous and violent, but it depends on relationship and lakou, really. Some folks say Agaou is closely associated with the office of the head of the Allada army prior to the founding of the modern states in Africa, and some associate him with the father of Touissant L'Ouverture who held the title of chief of the army of Allada.
At one point, Agaou told me he is in the air and sees everything from where he is above, but your mileage may vary, of course. Similarly, I had a dream a very long time ago about Agaou working very closely with Sobo and Bade (and inviting me on a road trip in a red convertible, but that's neither here nor there), but again...YMMV.
Hope this helps!

Janitor and Spicy both have their flaws and the usual YMMV (your mileage may vary) but I do enjoy them. The one flaw SpicyChat has that you have to buy a sub to get the better memory and such while Janitor can let you use APIs of other llms or use the site's llm (I used 0 tokens and mess around with the temperature to get the responses I wanted).
Janitor's llm or site can get a bit off at times (and sometimes, very silly) but the dev fix the issues when they're alerted about it.
trying both im kinda neutral on both of them. i think theyre fun and have nice writing but jai has such long responses its very different from cai and spicy just.. feels like it rushes the story along so fast? ive been testing some private bots on each though and may transfer some more inherently nsfw ones there from my cai to see how they do on both!
