So it takes place in the starholder universe, and at some point after Sun is fully possessed by Afton the star god (MY S/I!!! Her name’s Parker) gets NABBED BY EM AFTON CONSIDERS THESE TWO AS HIS BIGGEST THREATS SO HE DECIDES TO DO AN EXPERIMENTAL SPELL THAT COULD MERGE THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER (Steven universe fusion style), AND FIND A WAY TO GET THEM UNDER CONTROL.

THE SPELL ENDS UP WORKING AND THEN THE STAR GOD AND BLOODMOON FUSE!!! THE TWO SHARE A BODY AND A MIND SO EITHER BLOOD MOON OR THE STARGOD IS IN CONTROL (and the VERY rare occasion where both possess the body) FOR A WHILE BLOODMOON AND PARKER DIDNT GET ALONG DUE TO THEIR VERY DIFFERENT GOALS AND PERSONALITIES, BUT EVENTUALLY UPON LOOKING AT THEIR SIMIAR MEMORIES AND GAINING THE OTHERS TRUST THEY END UP BECOMING BUDS !!

EVENTUALLY THE TWO FALL IN LOVE YADADA ANGST BLAH BLAH BLAH I WONT GET INTO IT THAT MUCH ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS THE AU.

Sooo in tma the statements were canonically dramatic because the eye likes a bit of flavour - seasoning, if you will - to its spooky stories

but why are they like that in tmagp? (genuine lore question not passive-aggressive criticism)

or maybe "chester" is just a butthead who likes yapping at inopportune moments

ooooooooo i did think that artefact storage had a lot of podcast/canon potential. this is one of those worldbuilding bits that isn't hurting the original story in an overexplain-the-mystery type way jonny was talking about in the tma qnas

Of course referring to past tma lore sometimes is inevitable given that we're dealing with The Literal Magnus Institute but it's still very well done. a mystery no matter who listens

it's truly reminiscent of both the beginning and the middle of a story (beginning of sam's story working at the oiap or whatever, middle of the larger plot timeline) - so much so that it's hard to forget the episodes are fictional and are actually being recorded and edited chronologically eeeeeee theres so much setup already and it's only ep 11 props to rq

Only just found out about it today and it has made my entire WEEK, it was such a delight to wake up and see this! It expands a bit on the Bill searching for sources of old worship post (link) in a way that I personally think is very neat and I really enjoyed reading it!

8. What project(s) are you currently working on? - 😬😅🙈 OK so this is a hard one as I sorta work on things on a whim. 😂 Like, whatever catches my fancy that day. I have… At least two things actively being worked on (the roommates fic and a pre-Abyss Jack fic) but there's also the Helen tells Will how to please Abby fic, the Abby/Will stuck in an elevator break up fic, the Teslen version of The Mummy, the Ted Lasso/Sanctuary crossover, and now the hints of a Abby wears office clothes to shag Will and he accidentally calls her Magnus fic… Yeah, I like jitterbugging my fic writing. XD (Oh! And there's on the back burner Helen and Nikola psychically connected, Will seeing the strings between people, Ashley came back wrong, and maybe something else? I have a vague recollection of starting one where Nikola has Helen tied up with light for a prompt fill.)

9. Do you write every day? If you wrote today, share a sentence of what you’ve written! - Not every day (not enough hours and I have many hobbies vying for attention) but, I did go to bed very late the night before last (after 3am is late for me) so technically I wrote something yesterday!

17. What’s something you’ve learned about while doing research for a fic? - The first woman doctor in the UK worked the system to become a doctor, then the year after she graduated the loopholes she used were shut. (I was researching what Helen would've needed to become a doctor.)

23. How do you choose where to end a chapter (if you have multi-chapter works)? - Rests. Writing drabbles has really helped me figure out where the rests/pauses are, so I follow the lead of the fic. If it's a quick pause, we carry on. If it's a rest, I start a new chapter. :) Or I stop if it naturally ends on an epic cliffhanger. 😂😂😂
