Honestly, you didn’t even need to tell him. Somehow, he knew. A gut feeling, possibly. 

Despite the others, he’s a bit more relieved to show you his affection more; he sees the same factor that sex isn’t the most important within the relationship. Plus, he prefers to show you his love by physical touch, and more things that he can share with you.

Kyle is really supportive, especially on making sure you feel loved and heard. Despite his understanding, insecurity can catch up to you — he ensures, and promises that he’ll never stop loving you, and will never ever make you uncomfortable. 

He adores the time when the two of you just hug, especially after when he comes home. No matter what, he loves how warm you are, the tightness surrounding his neck and your arms, and how the both of you missed each other. 

Kyle really enjoys giving body massages, and as much as he likes to bold about them, his hands are magic. Within minutes, he works out the muscles in your back, and lower part. The back, you once knew as strict, being anew.

Captain “Price” John:

With his age and being the eldest on the team, you’d think he would know, right? Wrong. He knows nothing about it, and is really confused once he finds out or when you tell him.

However, once you fill him in, he completely understands why you identify as asexual and 100% respects your decision — shrugging his shoulders, and saying something along the lines of: “More ways to love you, yeah?”

Even though you might fear it'll change the 'relationship', it won't. It'll stay the same, and no matter what, he loves you for you. And the fact you felt comfortable to tell him it, shows him that you trust him; or to a degree where he can really show you how much he loves you.

In a weird but loving way, John enjoys giving foot rubs — kissing your feet, rubbing lotion into your skin and ensuring that you’ll be a melted puddle after the living session.

Nicknames galore: Love, sweetheart, darlin, and never stops; rarely using your name and always greets you with his sweet pet names, and a kiss on the forehead.

Despite his size, he really enjoys having your entire body weight on him, especially your legs. Whatever you can, just putting a body part, whether that's an elbow on his, a leg on top of his knee, or hand-holding, he enjoys your touch and presence.

Alejandro “Colonel” Vargas:

He wouldn’t get it first, whilst he knows more of the ‘old society’ than others, he still doesn’t know the term; looking at you with a raised eyebrow. 

Once you explain it to him, or him researching the internet, he comes to terms with it — nodding along and immediately moving on, as like the others, it doesn’t matter to him anymore. Alejandro wouldn’t want to make you uncomfortable, therefore he can live without it. 

He’s an ultra romantic and flirtatious man. The relationship continues on, with him expressing his love even more somehow, and going all out to show you how much you mean to him. Alejandro gets you flowers, each different colors for each day of the week when he's home, and lightly pinches your butt when he walks by.

Of course, he shows his love by cooking — making his mama’s recipe for dinner, and serving it with warmth, much love, and a kiss on the neck for good luck.

Within the stretch of your feelings, sometimes fear and insecurity gets too much. Pushing you too far from your husband. When it comes down to it, he feels bad– terrible. Society has deemed it as ‘bad’ or ‘horrible’, when in fact, there are a lot of factors why you’re asexual.

He always reminds you that he’s always appreciate your love, and personality rather than sex. It’s just another things to show love, and there’s way more things to express than having time in bed. No matter what, he loves you for you.

Valeria “El Sin Nombre” Garza:

Within her flirty and upfront nature, she’s disappointed. Of course, she knows what asexuality means — her being a freak outside, means she knows everything about the club. 

But, she has a hard time with it at first and is honestly insensitive about it. Her first question is “You sure?”, and asking if you’d ever actually had sex to make sure. But, she comes around quickly and apologizes for her heartless remarks. Her main focus is you, and she would never force you into something that makes you uncomfortable, or fearful. Instead, Valeria will continue on loving you like she’s always done; not caring about the asexual part because it doesn’t matter.

However, her inappropriate jokes will not be toned down. Sure, she’ll try; for you and your comfort. But sometimes they slip out, and before she can realize, she’s already making a few others. 

Despite her rough demeanor, she’s quite a love bug — going all out on spoiling you and ensuring that you know sex isn’t the biggest part of a relationship. 

Physical touch galore. No matter where you are, she’s beside you and giving you all types of attention: making you sit on her lap, admiring you, painting your nails, etc. She’s always touching your waist, giving you chaste kisses, then happily watching TV beside you when she’s done with work. 

Valeria really enjoys sleeping with you, either naked or just in her skimpy underwear and no bra. While most would see this as sexual, it’s not. When people mention Chocol, they immediately think that it's this cool dancer from Wolf'lo. That she looks completely unapproachable and so much more but if someone asks you to describe the said dancer, your answer would definitely be the opposite with how the people perceive her. She's your Gayoung as you're one of the few people who gets to call her that. She may be 36 but she still acts like a baby when the two of you are alone. She's whiny, she's fun, she's a bit crazy but she's the most loving person you've ever met. Most of all, she's your wife.

You met Chocol when there was an event and you happened to be there as you work backstage for doing the performers' make ups. She was the easiest to work with and you chatted with her for a bit before she went to perform with her crew. You were amazed by her and her crew, you thought they were so amazing that you couldn't resist asking them for a picture. You met her a couple more times until one night, she invited you to come hang out with them. You were a bit shy at first but they immediately made you feel welcomed. You started hanging out with them, they'd even teach you how to dance and Chocol gets really really proud when you get the steps right that would make the others tease you both. Soon, the hang outs evolved to you and Chocol going out together, just getting to know one another some more before you found the courage to confess to her, on her birthday.

It was a small celebration with her crew and some friends. Everyone was having fun eating and drinking around while you sat with her, seemingly nervous about something. She was very much concerned about you until you held her hand and blurted out your confession. Your cheeks were red from embarrassment and your eyes showed fear and confusion. You wanted to get out of there just in case she rejects you but she didn't, instead, she kissed you right in front of everyone. Her crew gave dramatic sighs and someone shouted 'finally!' as if they were all anticipating the moment to finally come. Chocol just flipped them off that earned a laugh from everyone.

Dating wasn't easy, especially when being with a same sex lover isn't that common or it is but people chose to hide it knowing how judgmental society could get. You wanted to keep it a secret but your girlfriend has a different idea. She wants to keep you private but definitely not a secret so she made it public that the two of you are dating.

There were fights here and there but it made your relationship much stronger until you reached three years with her. Then this year, the two of you got married since same-sex marriage is finally a thing in Korea. You couldn't be any happier being married with her even though there were lots of things that could have prevented the marriage like your parents.

"You seem deep in thoughts baby.. What's wrong?" Chocol asked as she noticed you weren't really talking much. She's gotten so used to your talkative side that it immediately concerns her when you're quiet.

"I'm just thinking about how crazy our relationship is.. I mean, who would've thought that such fine dancer would fall for a make up artist and now married to her?" you chuckle and she just smiles, thinking about it as well. She wasn't really thinking about being in a relationship with a woman before but now she couldn't imagine life without you in it.

"Well the make up artist is really pretty and very kind.. What's there to not fall into? And now I can safely call her my wife.. It still feels like I won the lottery with all this." she says and you giggled, sharing a sweet kiss with her.

"Though what made you continue with our marriage? You know our parents are really against it.. Especially mine. They tried to bribe you with my whole inheritance just so you'd stop seeing me." you asked. You're still mad about your parents pulling that but your wife just laughs at it every single time.

"Damn, I should've taken the money.." she says while laughing. You looked at her, confusion visible on your face and she only pinched your cheeks. Sometimes it makes you wonder if you're married to a crazy person, especially when she's like this.

"And why is that? You regret marrying me?" you asked, shooting her a glare that made her laugh even more. Yup. You can confirm that you married a crazy person and it's too late to get a refund now.

"I mean, we get the money all to ourselves then I kidnap you. We'll live somewhere far away." she says and you shook your head, amused. Leave it to your wife to come up with the most ridiculous ideas.

"Sometimes I want to get a refund ticket for marrying you.." you said in a joking manner while she gasped, looking at you like she was greatly offended but both of you just bursted laughing. This is why you and her immediately clicked, you match each other's energy perfectly.

I played a fan translation of the first game back after everyone was reading it on the something awful forums lmao

I'd have to say my top faves are Asahina and Sakura, they're both just fun and sweet and have a great dynamic between them- which speaking of great dynamics Ishimaru, Mondo, and Chihiro are all fantastic as well, two rambunctious idiots and the most earnest sweetheart 😭😭

Also I like Fukawa and by extension Jack but I'm gonna wrap their head in duct tape if Byakuya gets near lmao

Super Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair

I originally played this one back around like uhhh 2017?? Ish?? Idk I played it and had a blast and loved the cast, which is what made me want to replay it actually

I love them all they're all chefs kiss (except the chef Teruteru himself I'm also wrapping his head in duct tape when I need to)

I'd have to say my top faves would be Gundham, Kazuichi, Fuyuhiko, Ibuki, and Mikan, but really I do very much adore the entire cast and the way the game itself pans out and shows their relationships with one another, they feel like they could all be a really good friend group had things turned out better for them

Also Hajime is my favorite protagonist of the bunch lmao

Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls

So fun fact about this one I've actually never played it oops

HOWEVER I did get ahold of the manga trilogy- of which they were all used copies so volume 1 has nearly every forward facing character having a little drawn on pencil moustache and volume 2 has an entire panel just cut out of it, honestly I'm surprised the third volume doesn't have anything wrong with it LMAO cursed books

As far as the characters that are specific to this game I did think Shirokuma was quite cute and Asahina's brother was fun while he was around

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

Okay so this one- I started playing it a few months back because I had actually never gotten around to it back when I first got ahold of it, and it's the one that has my partners favorite character in it lmao

I actually put it down because I got too upset after chapter 4 oops, but now me and one of our friends have been watching my partner play the final hurdle so we've only got the final chapter left 💪💪✨

Character wise I do like Shuichi, Maki, and Kaito and the friendship they build between the three of them a lot, I also liked Ryoma more than I anticipated and I adore Gonta 😭

Miu can be fun and god I want to like her more than I do but then she says things and she's getting a triple duct tape wrap LMAO

Kirumi and Korekiyo have AMAZING aesthetics tho I gotta give them a shout out for that

Exploring character dynamics: Blades

Blades and Heatwave: Very Older Brother, little brother dynamic. They would die for each other and brag about it later. They would also definitely roughhouse if Blades didn’t any know better. Also Blades trying so hard to imitate HW in part 2 of double villainy. He wanted to be a good leader too

Blades and Chase: Autisim vs ADHD if robots. They balance each other out perfectly. Just put them together and I’m already smiling cause I know I’ll have a good time. “What’s sooner than immediately?” “I have no idea” 

Blades and Boulder: ADHD vs AuADHD. These two are a menace. They always do the craziest things together. I’m honestly surprised the writers didn’t exploit that more. These idiots kidnapped a lion. I love them. I’m also pretty sure that Boulder learned a lot about first aid from Blades since more often than not he’s the one acting doctor.

Blades and Graham: Their episode together makes me so soft 😭 They’re their both the “weakest” members of their active teams and can sometimes overlook how essential they are “At least they found you… that’s important”

Blades and Kade: Imma be 100% honest, I don’t think Blades could take much of Kade, him considering Mr. Pettypaws a better partner says it all. He wouldn’t get angry, just more and more annoyed and sassy.

Blades and Cody: Watching the show, I noticed that Heatwave and Boulder are closer to Cody, while Blades and Chase dare closer to their partners. Still though, this bot was fresh on earth, dealing with the fact that he would have to fly despite his fears and still said “For Cody”.

Blades and Chief: Dad and son. He was so exited to be paired up with the chief, adorable.

Blades and Dani: HSKEBSKA THESE TWO HOLY SHIT!!! Sassy as all can be. Big sister - little brother, man you can feel the love in this relationship. Dare I say it’s the most develop? Like, it doesn’t grow the same way Heatwave and Kade do, but you can feel this closeness. Blades is extremely protective of Dani and Dani is so encouraging of Blades, even when she considers something his doing as silly she’s there for him 🥹 ARGH, when she left for her space mission and he had to transform and didn’t get to say a proper goodbye, that shot of him as a helicopter just there, when she cried the moment she heard his voice 😭😭. How they’re very verbal about their affection and bring the better out of each other (Dani becomes kinder and Blades is always developing his skills) I love them so much. They’re gonna be great leaders in China and I WISH WE GOT TO SEE THAT.

Blades and Heatwave: I agreeeeeee!!!! I feel like Blades looks up to Heatwave and admires his skills, and i wholeheartedly believe he tries his best to make Heatwave proud, something he doesn’t actually need to do, cause Heatwave is already proud of him, HW just never says it outright, but you see it in how protective HW is of Blades and how he’d actually do the things Blades ask him to

Heatwave is protective of all his team, but he’s even extra protective of Blades, their relationship reminds me of the lil bro who gets bullied but keeps it a secert only for the older bro to find out and go beat the shit outta the bullies, getting hurt in the process

You know for a fact HW has been in so many fights just to protect Blades, he probably fought people just for looking Blades the wrong way <3333

Blades definitely imitates HW sometimes, probably without actually realizing it chchhc, that one episode of him trying to act hardcore and slaming his fist on his palm only to go “ow” is so adorable and i wholeheartedly believe he’s trying to act how Heatwave does

The leader role kinda doesn’t fit Blades, cause he doesn’t know how to act when pressured which the leader role is full of, it’s a role with so much responsibility tied to it, not to mention Blades is more of a free spirit, putting him under a restrictive role can inhibit his outta the box thinking and creativity, and that’s why in part i believe he tried to imitate HW, cause HW is an amazing leader and Blades doesn’t exactly know how to lead, so he goes for the next best option, imitating his own great leader <3

That obviously doesn’t mean Blades can’t lead, in fact I wholeheartedly believe he can and would be really great at it, he only needs a bit of time to find his own footing, to find himself in the role and to adapt to it, he’d definitely be a lot more carefree as a leader, a leader who makes his team always feel safe to approach him with any problems they may have and it’s heartwarming to think about :D

I think the fact Blades can adapt to so many things no matter what life throws at him is his greatest strength, so you can imagine my joy when Blades is assigned leader to his own rescue team in China <333

Blades and Chase: YOU GET ITTTTTT!!!!!!! Their characters balance so well for a variety of reasons cause you have Blades, who’s always anxious and thinks of the worst scenarios that could happen with Chase who’s always calm and thinks logically, which means Chase is the best candidate when it comes to helping Blades deal with his anxiety

Meanwhile you have Blades who understands social situations and innuendos and is very invested in pop culture and you have Chase who literally could never grasp social situations and innuendos for the life of him, and isn’t very good at learning the culture he is in at all, so you have Blades sometimes filling that gap

Their personalities contrast so much and that contrast is what i love the most about their relationship!

Also can I talk about how much I adore how they always take care of each other??? There’s a reason I like to believe these two are Amica Endura!!!! They look out for each other and you can tell they’re really close, they always help each other out and it’s always so damn heartwarming <3333

Blades and Boulder: NO LITERALLY WISH THE SHOW EXPLORED THEIR DYNAMIC MORE!!

They have a lot in common both are artists, one who loves to paint the other loves to make signs and decorations, both love to explore the world, one through learning about the culture and nature, the other through pioneering, and both are very chaotic, these two probably love to go on adventures together sometimes

And as you said, the fact Boulder knows first aid?? He probably got Blades to teach him, i feel like Blades actually tries to let Boulder teach him about engineering too, kinda like listening to each other interests, but the boredom is infinite and his adhd brain can never allow it gugujgvjvj, it probably goes with Boulder talking for hours only for Blades to admit he didn’t get any of it, Boulder completely understands and is happy Blades gives him a chance to ramble regardless <3333

Also can I talk about the fact Blades is good at dancing and Boulder loves dancing but his size doesn’t help? I like to think these two have dancing sessions sometimes!!

Blades and Graham: AAAH SO REAL!!!! Y’know I love how they have that in common, it makes a great connection point for the two

Blades and Graham aren’t physically strong, but that’s not where their worth or importance lies, Graham’s strength is his brain and his knowledge in engineering, he literally saved the lives of the entire island multiple times due to his input, whether by stopping his family from doing something that could potentially be a disaster or finding the source of what is causing problems to begin with (like finding the source of the earthquakes that were happening because of the speaker in “shake up”

Blades is agile and fast, really light on his feet and while all that’s good this is not what makes him important, what truly counts is his quick thinking and his amazing sense of the situation, he’s creative and that’s important in a rescue team where rescues always take an unexpected turn, his loyalty to the team is boundless and he always does what’s needed of him even when it’s completely outta his expertise, and this might seem strange to say, but his anxiety is actually a good thing, cause he sometimes does bring up really good points, his anxiety make him think of how a scenario can go wrong in so many directions that the team wouldn’t usually think about and asks them out loud, making the team stop and think, and that’s also really important

So when Graham and Blades don’t really realize how their existence is so damn important it hurts my heart, cause their perception of themselves isn’t the best, they think they aren’t as important which isn’t true at all

They both think low of themselves when they fail and it hurts to see cause everyone fails from time to time and that’s ok

I adore these two ughhh 😭❤️🌷✨

Blades and Kade: TELL ME ABOUT IT CHICCJJV

Like the mere idea of being partners with Kade was completely outta the question for Blades

HW’s and Kade’s personalities clash head on and that’s actually why their dynamic works, an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object, therefore canceling each other

And it’s honestly kinda funny considering how similar HW and Kade are, they obviously differ in some things, but overall their similarities exceed their differences

Yet we see that Blades is very comfortable dealing with HW, but wouldn’t be comfortable dealing with Kade, and i like to believe it’s in part cause Blades can’t handle really intense people like HW and Kade, but can adapt to them if given time, which Blades did have a really long time to adapt to HW but not so much time to adapt to Kade, so dealing with Kade seems like a nightmare, but we see he does consider it when Kade gives a really good idea only for HW to tell him to “think again”

Overall, I think it would’ve been amazing had we gotten an episode in which Blades and Kade worked together, it would’ve probably been a fave hcchchch

Blades and cody: oooh that’s a nice note, I didn’t really notice that!! Tho i’d say Blades definitely loves Cody and loves to spend time with him, “Virtual disaster” is definitely one of my favorite episodes, and I ADORE Blades’ and Cody’s dynamic in that episode

I feel like Cody and Blades get along so well, and Blades definitely acts like an older bro to Cody

Not to mention Cody seems the best at calming Blades when he’s upset, get his mind off the thing that upset him, like when Dani leaves for her pilot testing and Cody tells him “come on, let’s find enough paint for your sign” and we see how that immediately makes Blades feel a bit better :D

Anyways, I hope this angsty breakup fic hits you in the feels as much as it did for me!

A Love I Never Knew

Summary: All of your heart was with the one person you adored the most, Kuroo Tetsurou. When things started to turn dark for you, you were sure that he would be there. You trusted him, you confided in him, and yet the result of that was the appearance of his true self– one that you never could have imagined in your wildest dreams, or more accurately, your darkest nightmares...

“Are you okay?”

When it came to being asked that question, lately, you honestly didn’t know how to respond. Of course, you knew what to say: “I’m fine!”

Your self esteem, on the other hand, told an entirely different story.

You just couldn’t bring yourself to look in the mirror lately. No matter which way you looked at it, you couldn’t consider yourself beautiful. In your eyes, there were so many imperfections on your face, your body, everywhere.

To make matters worse, you had been losing sleep over it too. You had lost a lot of your previous cheerful spirit, as your eyelids began to sag.

Soon, your insecurities about your appearance were beginning to affect other parts of your life too. You couldn’t focus in class or in social activities anymore, because you felt like you weren’t good enough in anything.

Now, you were even beginning to feel like you weren’t good enough in your own relationship too. Kuroo was so cool, so intelligent, so confident… and you were just an awkward, scrawny introvert.

Basically, this was the exact opposite of him.

“Kuroo deserves way better than me…”

This was the thought that was running on repeat in your mind, as you slumped down on the couch in yours and his shared apartment. Your face was buried in your hands, as an even darker than usual cloud hung over your head today.

Kuroo didn’t know about any of this yet. He was always so upbeat and lively, and you didn’t want to put a damper on that with your trivial troubles.

This wasn’t all that possible for you at the moment, though. The concerns about you and your usefulness to Kuroo only got worse. Since this could affect your relationship, maybe now was finally the time to come clean to him.

“He’s always so carefree��� He’ll know what to do, and maybe I won’t have to worry anymore…”

You were still anxious about telling him as you waited for him to come home from volleyball practice, but at the same time, you were confident that he could lighten your mood.

As a result, your eyes remained fixed on that door in a desperate anticipation. You didn’t even turn on the TV or browse through your phone to kill time until he came back like you usually did.

You needed Kuroo. In fact, today was probably the day you needed him the most.

When the door finally did swing open, your expression brightened a little. You were still shaking from the anxiety, but you were relieved that he was here at last.

“Baby, you’re home!” You jumped up to greet him.

Kuroo, on the other hand, didn’t seem nearly as enthusiastic. He wore his towel around the back of his neck, dripping sweat with an exhausted expression on his face.

This made sense for him. He didn’t like to show it to others, but you knew that he could get really wiped out when practices got intense.

Still, you knew that this was urgent, so you hoped to get his attention nonetheless.

“Practice was rough today, huh?”

“Hm, yeah. Definitely.” He nodded in agreement, but still didn’t make eye contact with you.

“How are the others?” Kuroo loved to crack jokes about his teammates, so you thought that this might snap him out of it.

“They’re alright. Annoying and chaotic as ever.” He still completely ignored you and brushed you off, and began to trudge off to the room that you two slept together in.

Your heart was beating fast under the weight of your feelings, so as much as you wanted to let him rest, you needed to talk to him. Therefore, you ran after him to make him talk to you.

“Hey, is something wrong?” You said this in a caring and concerned voice. He did seem really, really tired, but he usually wasn’t this low on energy. Despite everything you were going through, you also wanted to be there to listen to him if something was wrong.

What Kuroo said next, however, was something that made your face drop.

“Nothing’s wrong! I don’t need to be interrogated right now, love. Just leave me alone, ugh.”

Now, this sounded much more like he was annoyed with you rather than just being tired. You hadn’t meant to ‘interrogate’ him, you just wanted to know about his day.

He never reacted this badly before. Something was definitely on his mind, and you had the feeling that it had more to do with you than with volleyball.

“I’m really sorry… It’s just, I needed to talk with you about something.” You squeaked out in a lower tone, now becoming increasingly afraid of what his reaction would be.

“Fine, but make it quick, I have other things to do… Come to think of it, what is the matter with you today?”

Unlike you, his tone wasn’t filled with nearly as much care. It was like talking to you was a chore that he had no choice but to complete.

Taking a deep breath, you attempted to pour out your heart into words.

“It’s just that I don’t feel good enough… I don’t feel pretty enough, my personality isn’t good enough… And now I feel like I’m not good enough for you.” By the time you finished, your breath was shaky and uneven.

You still had some slight hope that this would make him soften up, but unfortunately, this couldn’t be further from the case.

“What’s with all this sappy stuff? Jeez, you’re acting crazy! You used to not give a shit…” He was massaging his forehead in a way that was intentional, making it clear to you that you were the one giving him that headache.

“No… That’s because I was just hiding it from you…”

“Well, what do you expect me to do about it?”

His tone was becoming harsher and harsher, while yours became softer and softer. This sudden change was literally taking your breath away, and not in a good way.

“Um… you are my boyfriend…” You looked up at him with eyes gone wide with fear, shame, and embarrassment.

This gaze only exacerbated Kuroo’s annoyance. He rolled his eyes, and moved his lips silently in a way that was mocking the way you spoke.

“Yeah, I’m your boyfriend, not your goddamn therapist.”

This was the final nail in your heart, shattering it into pieces. The carefree, lighthearted Kuroo that you had fallen in love with just wasn’t that same person anymore. As you realised this, tears began to sting at the corners of your eyes.

“I know, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. At least answer the question, please… Am I good enough for you, Kuroo? I’m so sorry…” 

At this point, your voice was barely audible. You hardly knew what to say. Everything that you thought you knew about Kuroo was changing so quickly.

He had begun to turn around and go to the bedroom anyway, but at these words, he stopped in his tracks. He stood there like that for a few seconds, and you saw his hands clench into fists. The rising and falling in his chest became more ragged, as his breaths filled with negative emotions.

Every second that he was still made the dread inside you grow, but the face that you saw when he turned back around to face you suddenly and swiftly frightened you even more.

“I get home after a long day, and all you can do is cling to me like a fucking abandoned puppy. And instead of just letting me go like a sane person, all you say is ‘I’m sorry!’ It’s so goddamn corny and annoying… But you know what? I agree with what you said earlier. Maybe you really are not good enough for me.”

His fists balled tighter, as he screamed these words at the top of his lungs through clenched teeth. 

This new piercing volume sent the entire atmosphere around you two into utter silence. You couldn’t believe that this was real. It had to be a terrible nightmare, one that would end, and let you wake up to Kuroo cuddling beside you in the bed.

Yet, this wasn’t a nightmare. This was the reality of what Kuroo truly felt about you.

If your heart was shattered before, this made the pieces break even smaller and drop to the ground. As for your heartbeat, it felt as if it had stopped in your chest. Heck, time itself seemed to slow around you.

It was one thing to believe the worst about yourself, but having the one who’s supposed to love you the most say that those beliefs were correct all along made it feel like the world itself beneath you was giving out.

Your body wasn’t just trembling now, it was full on shaking. Your knees swayed back and forth, making you feel like a jelly that threatened to give way and drop to the floor any second now.

Your eyes that were now stuck open as wide as they could go couldn’t hold it back anymore, and silent tears rushed down your face. The shock was so intense that you couldn’t even make any noise with the crying. With all these tears, your throat began to burn.

“I have to say something, anything to make it better… It’s all my fault, I should fix this…”

You could hardly form thoughts like these, much less put them into words. Meanwhile, Kuroo kept his eyes fixated on you in pure disgust. He had a look on his face that made it seem like the fact that you were still in front of him was something that he absolutely loathed.

Whatever words did come to mind mostly stopped in your throat. Any noise that did come out was in the form of choked up croaks and squeaks.

Finally, somehow, actual words came out, only to be immediately cut off.

“Kuroo, I–“

“Just forget it already! If this is how you’re going to be, I can’t take it anymore! I’m fucking done with you. We’re over, now get out of my house, now!” 

You already thought that his voice couldn’t get any louder, but its magnitude just kept climbing and climbing until it got to a point where you felt that it could blow the roof off. His face was scrunched up in pure fury, and his eyes directed that rage into yours and straight into your soul.

Whatever he was feeling, Kuroo now seemed as if he had never loved you at all.

And just like that, a beautiful relationship that had lasted months, one that you hoped would stretch on for years to come vanished just like that. All your hopes about Kuroo disappeared into nothingness.

As reluctant as you were, you now accepted that what you had with him was gone, and couldn’t be fixed. 

However, more than that, you didn’t think it was even safe to be here anymore. Judging by his body language, his posture, his actions, and his words, standing there for even a few seconds longer would run the risk of Kuroo’s anger escalating towards physical violence.

Your knees gained just enough strength, and you bolted out the door in a fit of loud sobs.

When you were gone, Kuroo returned to normal and sighed, but not out of relief. He couldn’t pin it down exactly, but there was something gnawing inside him… He was observant enough that he knew deep inside that was guilt.

Still, even though he did know, he would never admit it. He wouldn’t admit it to himself, and definitely not to you. He couldn’t take back what he did, but either way, he most certainly wasn’t going to go running after you. Instead, he simply shook his head and wandered off inside the bedroom.

It was raining outside in the dark of night, and not just a light shower. Water rushed down from the dark clouds at high speeds, hitting the ground with incredible sound and force for such tiny droplets.

It didn’t take more than a few seconds for you to get soaking wet in these conditions, but you pushed through and kept running. You didn’t know where– it was late, and no one you knew would be willing to take you in at this hour.

You jumped down the stairs to the ground floor, but that was as far as you could get before your knees finally gave up and caused your body to collapse to the concrete pavement, getting scraped against its rough surface.

You were in an awkward position, but you didn’t care. You were cold, you were wet, but most importantly… you were alone.

At least there was a positive side to that. You curled up, now being free to sob out all the pain that had piled up on you out to the distance. Your face became a mess of tears and snot, as the uncertainty of the situation dawned upon you.

“I can’t sleep on the streets… I’ve already been a burden to everyone, but I have to find someone, anyone…”

You had absolutely nothing, except for the clothes on your back and your phone in your pocket. Getting under the relative safety of a pillar, you decided to make use of that phone as you went through your contacts, pondering your slim set of options.

You remembered that there was one person who lived close enough to Kuroo, and this person was Kenma. Your fingers shook as you debated internally whether to press the call button or not. Kenma was the kind of person who was known for his preferences for being alone, and being sort of aloof towards others. 

It wasn’t likely that he would take you in, but the chance of him accepting was still there. At this point, you were ready to take any chance you got.

Trying not to drop your phone, you decided to take a risk and call Kenma. You put it on speaker and heard as the phone rang one time, two times…

Your phone provider would automatically drop a call if there wasn’t an answer by the fifth ring. The device’s battery was quite low as well, so if Kenma did not pick up, you truly would be stranded.

And so, you sat there awaiting your fate. Each ring, although lasting only a few seconds, stretched out for an eternity.

Would Kenma pick up? Would he not pick up?

Whichever one of the two happened, the little flame of hope left in your heart lay in his place… any place that was away from Kuroo.

“It really did turn out to be the person I loved most who ended up hurting me the deepest…” You thought alone to yourself, waiting as the phone rang and rang into the distance…

- koko is a great boyfriend overall. he does have some issues trusting and letting himself be vulnerable around you, but he does eventually come around. he will treat you like a princess. when he’s in love with you, he will devote his entire being to you and you only. koko will literally do anything to see a smile on your pretty face. PLEASEEE LET THIS BOY LOVE YOU.

- he likes to take you out for fancy dates. koko has the cash and all the time in the world for you, so expect to be taken out a lot. he will treat you to fancy restaurants, movies, anything you ask for will be yours. to be honest, it’s like having a built in sugar daddy, but instead he’s your actual boyfriend.

- oh yeah, when you go out to eat, he will take you to one of the most divine restaurants in your entire town. he doesn’t give two shits about the price about the food. order as much as you want and he won’t even bat an eye when he hands the waiter his card. he wants to see you happy and he won’t say no to you. the food is really really good, so you have zero complaints when it comes to date nights.

- koko likes to call you whenever he’s at work. i feel like he’s someone who is willing to listen to him. i hc this guy likes to rant about the shit he deals with, so expect him to just talk about a bunch of random shit whenever he’s frustrated. also, hearing your voice calms him down. he needs lots of reassurance.

- “yeah, this piece of shit keeps pissing me off. i might have to knock his teeth in, princess.”

- not gonna lie, koko can be possessive. he definitely doesn’t want other men believing that he has a chance with you, so expect him to always be wary of who’s around you. he has no problem giving death glares to anyone who thinks they can have you. he’ll put his hand around your waist or hold your hand extra tight in public whenever this is the case.

- he probably lets you pick what car you want him to drive you in.

- he likes to pick out your outfits. he’s like a personal stylist and he’ll always make sure you look cute. not to mention, he buys you clothes 24/7, and he wants to see them on you. koko also likes to see what’s under them ;) when you get home from your day out.

- he’s touchy at times. he’s the kind of boyfriend that would pinch your ass to see what reaction you’d have. you always end up glaring at him and he just giggles and shrugs his shoulders. he’s very playful sometimes and he can easily make you laugh with the things he does/says. like i said, he treats you so so well. it’s honestly so fucking cute.

- always holds your thigh whenever he drives.

- “doing okay, my love? good.. we’re almost there.”

- he loves taking pictures of you. whether it’s after sex or on a date, he takes random photos of you to keep in his phone. he likes to scroll through them whenever he’s bored or he misses you. they never fail to bring a smile to his face <3.

- he kisses you randomly. he loves to have his lips somewhere on your face and it’s always nice. he also loves to kiss your hands!! you’re his most prized trophy, and you deserve to be treated like one.

- i don’t see koko getting jealous easily, but he can get annoyed when someone he knows is hitting on you. he’ll easily take care of it by pulling you onto his lap and holding you close to him so whoever is trying to get at you knows what the fuck is up.

- koko isn’t very clingy, but he can be. he likes having your attention <3.

- he loves to cuddle in the morning. he has a love hate relationship with waking up, so he’ll definitely lay his head on your chest and hold you tightly against him. you’ll have to fight your way through his grip, but he’ll eventually let you get up.

Confession, as a DC Comics Fan:

I don't like the shippings Damian Wayne had over the years. Not anymore, at least.

For awhile, I've been seeing a TON of Damian Wayne stuff related to ships on the internet. From big ones like Damirae or Damijon to smaller ships like Damian x Cassie or Damian x Djinn or Damian X Emiko. Then there was Damian and Flatline (or Nika) that became recently canon in the comic run, Lazarus Tournament (check it out, I think its cool). These ships had a fair share of fans and I've been one of them.

Until... I eventually grew out of it. Why?

Cause as I grew older, I'm getting a change of taste and a refreshed perspective of things, you know? So, with how much research I gather from Damian's character and these ships, opinions change. Some I lost likeness than I usually did. Some I got bored with overtime. Some, I just didn't care for as much. Lemme clarify, I still think some ships are likable than others, especially their dynamics with Damian as a character. But when I look between the characters he interacts with and their histories... It kinda makes me wonder... Does it really work? Are they worth it?

First, lemme start with the demon birds: Damirae. Damian x Raven. This was the first Damian Wayne shipping I discovered as a fan of the DC Animated Movie Universe. I watched JLVSTT (terrible title) to TT:JC to Apokolips War and ultimately... I was hooked. These characters could relate and they had such heartfelt and bittersweet tragic terms with the storyline. I cried when they shared their first AND final kiss (don't judge, I'm sensitive, 😭). This ship was my first and I fell in love with it! Plus, these characters have always been and will always BE my favorite in any DC storyline.

As I got older and learned more about them in other continuities, I grew a change of philosophy... I DON'T THINK IT WORKS. Hold on! Before Damirae fans explode! Hear me out. I see the appeal. They're similar in experience and personality, the idea of Damian, being the Grandson of the Demon's Head, dating a literal demon sounds cool (even if Rae wasn't originally a demon-). There's a lot in terms of age and direction with storylines I can see being a problem. Though, from how I see things and I say this from personal experience; similarities will not always be great in relationships. Their personalities just don't bounce each other off well for me. Additionally, I feel like some fanfics between this ship just don't do their characters justice. In a short question I've had with another user, I can say, I agree that some fans interpret this romance like a demon x angel dynamic. Like, Damian being into taking over the world while Raven is easily swayed on joining such pursuit. While the idea is... interesting, it does bug me a bit. It doesn't suit well with their characterization in my eyes. Plus, I feel like in other continuities, Raven, in character, would either,

1. Not like his personality.

2. Act as some sort of sympathetic sibling/mentor to him.

Honestly, number two sounds more fun and has potential in my eyes. 💜

Second, the one and only super sons; Damijon. Damian X Jon. These two are my ✨ world ✨. I've followed up with their comic storyline through YouTube (I have yet to snatch the comics-) and WOW they are just so, SO entertaining to watch! Jonathan Kent was super adorable (get it?)! Damian was a little troll but I love it! The movie was also spot on — the animation, the writing, the characters, the moments were just dynamite pure! I will love these two with a passion till the day I die! However, as much as I love these boys in all my heart and soul, I DO NOT ship them. It's cute but I just don't see them being anything more than friends, to be honest. 🦸

Third, the recent grave birds: Damiline. Damian X Flatline. OMG, I liked Flatline! I thought she was so cool! Not to mention, her power to absorb the abilities of warriors she's killed has so much potential. Sure, there were times when I thought moments of her were unnecessary or annoying, but she definitely caught my eye because she was just that fun! Her relationship with Damian was... interesting enough. I do feel like the romance was there because they were in a literal death tournament... if you know what I mean. It felt rushed. Plus, she kinda betrayed him later on. I'm surprised we didn't get a reaction from Damian to this too. Eventually, I looked into Flatline's solo issue in New Evolution. I feel like this issue in particular is where Flatline considers Damian as an afterthought. It was also this line that stood out the most for me — "We'll see how long that lasts". This could mean their relationship may one day end short. And I believe Flatline is just as aware of this too. BUT. I don't think this is a bad thing. It could allow opportunities for her to develop without always being in a romantic role. I like the character, I just don't see this working for too long. It feels like the writers were trying to throw a goth x goth romance for the sake of the plot. 💀

I hear Flatline's coming back, though! I'm excited to see her return!

Fourth, Damian X Cassie Sandsmark (Wonder Girl). This originated from the DCeased storyline, where the world suffered a zombie-like apocalypse thanks to Cyborg bringing the Anti-Life Equation to Earth. Though... To me, she just seemed like another "Jonathan Kent" best friend, than anything else. Probably just me. If there were more interactions, maybe I'll reconsider. 🦸

Fifth, Damian X Djinn. Now, I thought this had potential. They did seem genuine with each other and had nice conversations. Though, if the pedophile part wasn't involved (Djinn being an immortal deity), I'd probably give it a chance. But I don't really ship it because of that fact. 😓 🧞‍♀️

And finally, Damian X Emiko Queen (Red Arrow). I don't see much appeal to this ship. They had similarities, sure, but... that's about it. Damian just had a brief "stalker-crush" and that was gone. So, not much to be said there. Like I mentioned before, if there were more interactions between them, maybe I'll consider. For now, it's not for me. 🏹

This will be where my confession comes to an end. These are my thoughts and opinions. You guys don't have to agree with me but that's just how I see these ships regarding Damian Wayne as a character. Arguments are welcome in the comments. I'm fascinated by these juicy conversations!

I can't even begin to tell you how much space Cegan takes up in my head, it's actually ridiculous. I spend what feels like every minute of every day *obsessed* with them. Okay so I’m an AkaNene shipper and a lot of people don’t get that ship (they tend to think it’s a crack ship or a rare pair just made up for fun)

I personally came up with this huge adoration of the ship over one side comic and then the severance / red house arcs era (so around chapters 70-90’s)

The side comic I’m talking about is the one where Nene asked Aoi if Aoi really didn’t care about Akane’s crush on her and if she wouldn’t mind if Nene went out with him instead (it’s the one where Nene skips school for like a week because of it)

And the rest :D rubs my silly little hands together

During the severance Nene loses two very important people! One being Aoi, and the other being Hanako. And for Akane, it’s Aoi too.

I honestly think it’s really interesting to see how their relationship would blossom after chapter 72- the Terunene “date” chapter. Akane seems really angry in that chapter because Nene is indirectly why Aoi was gone. But, I think by the end of it he would be much more willing to hear Nene out.

I think they’d be each others support systems as we know Nene got depressed after the severance, and Akane probably wasn’t any better either (I’m looking at you watering can Akane official art)

They wouldn’t see each other as replacements for each others love interest- but they would see it as something to have in common and help each other over.

My hc’s for the severance period are pretty dark so if I had to think of fun AkaNene headcanons:

Whenever Nene’s really upset Akane will redirect her to watch something she really enjoys. I love the idea of Magical Girl enjoyer for Nene (projecting lol) but I think knowing her canon interests she’d be more interested in things like Madoka Magica rather than Magical Doremi/Precure/Sailor Moon 💭 Akane wouldn’t be super interested in that sort of thing but after watching it with Nene a few times he finds himself wrapped up in the lore and maybe even starts relating to Homura 😭 given the time loop based losing a crush stuff

Unlike Aoi- Nene loves rain and storms! She likes the adrenaline. As long as she’s warm and under a waterproof jacket she likes it. She’s the sort of person to lay in the grass and just let the water hit her face to me. So, sometimes if a storm starts she’ll shoot Akane a text that she’s coming over and then drags him outside to dance in the rain :D

Nene usually ends up freezing cold after this so Akane has to dry her hair off with a towel and get the space heater and blankets out. He sort of lectures her about how she needs to listen to him and be more careful, but it’s out of concern - not to be mean.

on this note of hair , Nene has thick curly hair! I like to hc that she flat irons it to try and fit in with Aoi and the others because curl care can be a night mare as someone who struggles with it. Her hair gets super frizzy sometimes and she finds it easier to just iron it. Akane tries to tell her that he likes her natural hair, and helps her comb tangles out gently. This ends up leading to her deciding to stop straightening it every day.

As we know from one of the side comics, Akane has a book shelf full of books that all have a character named Aoi in it. I think Nene would find that a little silly, but drag her interest so much that she ends up slowly reading all of them and then discussing them with Akane- like an Aoi book club 🔥

I also think that on her own Nene would probably read some crazy stuff that Akane wouldn’t exactly expect. She’d be scrolling through an e-book on her phone until Akane finally looks over and realizes she’s reading a detailed murder scene from American Psycho

Akane on the other hand would read old timey romances I think. Stuff with Princes/Knights and Princesses. I also think he’d start getting into the psych horror magical girl genre because of Nene. He’d really love watching Revolutionary Girl Utena :) I do love transfem Akane hc’s so he’d either relate to Utena because he sees himself in her and gender euphoria OR he would just see himself and Aoi in it… like having the right spirit despite it being the WLW of all time

Whenever Nene’s too busy or depressed to take care of her hamsters Akane will take over. He tells her that it’s a chore and he only does it because he loves her- but he’s secretly really attached to them and gives them silly nicknames because Nene’s given names are usually pretty extreme haha

Okay that’s a lot but I hope it’s good to read >:D I adore these two I wanna put Akane under a microscope and psychoanalyze him

Hello I’m new to the monk fandom but not the show, and while I don’t necessarily ship Leland and Adrian, I can totally see why others do.

On the topic of these two old men and their ✨interesting ✨ relationship, I just wanted to hear your thoughts of the episode “Mr monk goes to the hospital” and the fact that we didn’t get to see Leland being overprotective over monk being in the hospital and literally being inches from death.

I enjoy the soft Natalie and Adrian moments, but I wish for seeing protective Leland more often and I feel like that episode was a perfect chance for a moment like that and it didn’t happen and it makes me sad.

Anyway would love to hear your thoughts, platonic or romantic, I don’t mind :)

Leland tends to be more of an action guy : there’s a chance he was questioning everyone off camera like he did when Adrian got shot in the leg

It was initially a nosebleed, even then he urged for Adrian to go back home and rest

To be fair, he probably had no idea his man would almost die 😭 imagine he sent Adrian home and the next time he meets him, the only reason he’s still alive is Natalie ?? cannot leave him alone even in a hospital

Honestly I can imagine him arriving to the hospital room like “what the hell happened”

focus being more on Natalie

I love everyone in this show equally and dearly, but I’ll tell you a little more since you asked me specifically >:)

I first watched Monk as it was airing and even when I was a kid I remember picking Leland as a favorite for some reason – I didn’t watch every episode just the ones I caught sometimes, so I didn’t even see him a lot lol

I'm ok - I both can't believe it's gonna be the end of January and also can't believe it's still January 😂. Work has not stopped being insane since I took over this new position but I'm thankfully still loving it. And I'm especially loving living in a place where I am no longer dealing with -40 celcius through the winter 😅. And Punzel babies? Well, they're living their happy life together in their flat. Eliott definitely refers to Lucas as his husband even though - as Lucas insists - they're too young to get married. Eliott thinks that's nonsense because he's been waiting what amounts to their entire lives and obviously they're going to be together for life anyways. But for that same reason, he's not too fussed about it - official papers or not, they are married in his mind. They've definitely added to their little fam and have a cat in addition to their pup Pascale. The cat absolutely rules their home (as cats are known to do) and is the only one who can get Pascale to stop being mouthy (Huskies you know 😂). Lucas would definitely complain the cat doesn't like him and play up that they have some sort of nemesis relationship. Only Eliott has caught Lucas curled up asleep on the couch with the kitty on his chest wrapped up in his arms more than once. Eliott would be a little jealous about the fact that he's the one who dotes on the kitty but she still seems to be an utter suck for Lucas... only, he's the exact same way so he can't blame her 😌. Second to Lucas, her fave is Idriss. Because this cat has ✨taste✨. I'm trying to think what they would name their kitty... probably something Rapunzel adjacent because they're saps... but I don't have a name popping to mind just yet.

And of course there are the fun dynamics of their relationship that they will probably always be figuring out. Like Lucas realizing (and relishing) in the power he has over Eliott and the way he can make Eliott's brain short circuit in any variety of ways (like saying something incredibly explicit in the middle of much more innocent activities like cooking dinner). Then Eliott will remember he no longer holds his Punzel in the 'look but don't touch' category and things work out quite nicely for both of them 😌. Basically... they're living their best lives figuring out adulthood and now jobs together ❤️.

Okay, don't get me wrong I love the take of wenclair giving Starfire and Raven vibes but may I present y'all with BBRae? Beastboy and Raven because the parallels y'all, no one cannot tell me they don't have the same vibes. I need a wenclair au now. I mean Wednesday getting referred to as a raven just set me off.

Guess I'm writing it once I actually have time for something other than work 💀

They both learn a lot from each other but also firmly stay true to themselves. Him saving her in a sudden transformation as a beast from another beast. Having a heart to heart under the night sky. Raven being manipulated by a love interest for Beastboy to be there to let her know she's not alone and they hug. They had one of the sweetest damn platonic relationships and had such beautiful potential for a truly healthy relationship (and they do have one in other adaptations). The idea that "oh why can't they just be friends" was often thrown around with this ship. "Just friends" always sounds so damn dismissive to me as if friendships aren't that important. I've mentioned this before but as someone who is demiromantic, that emotional bond is very important to me. It should be important for any relationship really, because some of the most loving relationships that last occur when the couple is first friends then lovers. Even if the close friendship never turns into something romantic that bond's importance does not diminish, love is powerful and doesn't always need to be sealed with a kiss, it can be sealed with a hug. If Wenclair becomes canon freaking amazing, beautiful, love to see it. Slow burn all the way even, i wanna see how their friendship continues to build, all their dynamics, the slow realization of what they mean to each other and if that turns romantic poetic cinema. And if it doesn't, that's okay too. But dear God Wednesday as a character needs that emotional growth with a partner, especially after this season. I cannot accept another love interest if it is not built on strong emotional grounds for her because honestly, this is Wednesday Addams we're talking about. A show focused on her needs to build her very careful and I think they did that beautiful with Enid as well as her friendship with Eugene. Eugene is a very sibling like bond and I absolutely love that for her. She goes out of her way to visit him at the hospital and even opens up in his presence because it's comforting. And Enid, just wow, she truly managed to gain Wednesday's trust. And same for her. That hug being the climax of the series and not a romantic kiss just spoke to me. I can't wait to see how their friendship grows. If romance is to bloom, I'd be happy with Season 2 end being a realization of what their bond means to each other, Season 3 subtle mutual pining and treading waters, Season 4 canon at the start finally and a lovely full season of them figuring their relationship out whilst adventuring together. That way we get a proper romantic development between the two that isn't rushed in the last season or just the last episode and realistic for Wednesday's character, whilst not risking Netflix cancelling the show (precautionary but at this point it really does feel like Netflix just cancels anything with canon wlw).

I also am for queerplatonic relationship wenclair, trust me my aroace spec self loves this idea too 😭 just saying how I'd love to see it play out if they went with romance. (Still have my sapphic demiromantic asexual Wednesday HC 👌🏽✨ )

So I think that they’d all kind of talk about it if it ever ended, just kind of a sit down ‘what do we do now’ kind of thing, but I don’t see them fighting because they know it would stress you out. If you were comfortable with it, they’d all still be dating you, but only you without the boys having any kind of relationship other than friends. They’d create a schedule of who gets you what days, alternate weekends, plan out any trips with you and let each other know in advance (literally custody battle type shit😭😭), just trying to navigate it and make it work as best as they could. But I don’t think the other two would get together, IF they did it would for sure be Kelce and Rafe because I feel like there would be a lot more tension with Topper. Maybe Rafe would kind of blame him for it ending and vice versa. I don’t think the reader would only get with one of them unless the other two really hurt her. She loves all of them which is why it started in the first place. But I honestly don’t ever see the relationship ending because you’re all so obsessed with each other, you all love the sex, dates, and excitement that comes with it, each of you would do everything in your power to keep things as they are.
